What is the “PRIMA B TUNIC”?….. A251582……….you will have to ask Jac……….she named it….LOL…………….Actually, the inspiration for the tunic came from dance clothes that many ballerinas [as in PRIMA BALLERINAS], and modern dancers wear for rehearsals and preformances. It has a very ethereal look due to the sheer diaphanous georgette bottom. The fabric of the tunic  body is RAYON/SPAN jersey……The inset handkerchief  bottom is a polyester georgette, which allows the garment to be machine washable.. It is impossible for me to give a length on this because it varies so much, but because of the fact the bottom is sheer….it is not overwhelming. Certainly, my petite ladies can wear it with leggings, Capri pants or Capri length leggings [as shown above in white, coming this summer], or a pencil skirt or a two piece dress look. I think this would be the perfect special occasion top, and a terrific top to take away on a cruise or vacation. No special occasions coming up? Then wear it  when you are going out to dinner with friends, and you want to look extra special. I think it will also look great worn with skinny jeans for a more BOHEMIAN look……The rayon/ span part of the tunic is approx. 28- 28 1/2 inches long for the XS, so you have nice coverage, and you don’t have to worry about seeing anything through the georgette……the georgette provides nice camouflage……………………………..This is a SPECIAL piece…………this is a WANT …..an EMOTIONAL buy…..the CHERRY on the cake………….a piece that will give your wardrobes diversity……. that special something that you will enjoy wearing because it is simply FUN TO WEAR!….. The PRIMA B TUNIC will also be avail in the HEATHER GRAY RAYON/SPAN with a SOLID GRAY GEORGETTE bottom………………This is very very CHIC and SOPHISTICATED. Pairing it with the PONTE GREY LEGGING, A239321, is like BEES to HONEY….it’s perfect……………If you are not a legging person…..the slim ponte pant in the HEATHER GRAY will be just as good. Of course BLACK is ALWAYS an option….For a two piece dress look the HEATHER GRAY PONTE SKIRT would be, IMHO, your best way to go….The J284043, HEMATITE FACETED GLASS LONG BEADS [shown here quadrupled] or as the “Q” calls them…GRAY……..are  the perfect compliment, along with the DROP EARRING, J284042………………..you really can’t do better than this. If necessary the earring is easily shortened……………….I say ” if you have no place to wear this….create a place”……………………….

You know the color………if you own the SEAMED JACKET in FUCHSIA or any of the new Fall Whisper Knit pieces in FUCHSIA…..this tunic is the same color. Above, I have paired it with the WHISPER KNIT SKIRT in the FUCHSIA, A237412……and there still are some avail……………………Worn this way…..it makes the perfect TWO PIECE DRESS……..and COMFORTABLE too! ………..The GRAND FINALE of the SNEAK PEEKS for my Jan 15th shows is the PRIMA B TUNIC, A251582, in ………………BLACK……………………..This can be worn so many different ways for any occasion or none…day or night. For day wear it with BLACK or WHITE leggings or Capri pants………with a black ballet or strappy flat……a black strapped wedge with a cork bottom…… and wood jewelry………….it will look outstanding with very little effort…………………For evening………..wear it with BLACK SLIM PANTS or a BLACK pencil skirt…………..Go minimal with just  the  dramatic gunmetal and jet cross……or…………pile it on with my JET LONG BEADS J284043, the GRAY will work just as well…..mixed with my JET, GUNMETAL and CRYSTAL long glass bead necklace, J273583…………………….I’m sure you have many many things that will look fantastic with this tunic, which is a great backdrop for accessories…………..Again, I want to emphasize……this is a very SPECIAL GARMENT, and it may not be for everyone, but for those of you who love it………..I know you will look incredible in it!!!!!!!!!

The SHADOW JACQUARD JACKET, A251574, is ALL ABOUT THE UNIQUE FABRIC! This is why designers love their jobs…..always searching for the unique and beautiful fabrics. I new instantly when I saw this particular jacquard fabric that I had to do something in it for you. This is a JACQUARD FABRIC….meaning the design is woven into the cloth….there is no printing involved to produce this. It is very reminiscent of the AVANT GARDE fabrics the Japanese designers love so much. It would be a lovely fabric for a Kimono. It has a very artisan look with it’s highs and lows and shading of color…………in this case grays and blacks…….hence…..”SHADOW JACQUARD”…….If you think it may have lurex in it from the photos….IT DOES NOT. I will tell you now the fabric has a very different hand and touch to what you are used to…..that’s what gives it it’s uniqueness and the ability to hold the shape of the jacket. It is not smooth nor is it a soft fabric with drape. The fabric is constructed but is still very light weight. This is the type of fabric you will either go wild for because of it’s special beauty……….or you won’t understand it at all…..and that’s OK…………not everything can or should be for everybody……..but if you are the one that loves it…..I guarantee you will get compliments when you wear it. It can be casual with black jeans or later with crops or Capri pants………It is definitely work appropriate with dress pants a skirt or dress………..It is a jacket I can see a woman wearing to a concert at Lincoln Center in NYC, and looking absolutely stunning…..and simple at the same time……that’s a very good thing…………….I Know I would give any woman wearing this a double take!…………….The shape of the jacket is perfect for this type of fabric…IMHO……….It is a combination of the WINDOWPANE jacket from seasons passed and the BOUCLE TOPPER from this past fall….yes the one that came in RUBY, MALACHITE and LAPIS. The jacket has a drop shoulder like the topper and a similar shape. The jacket is fully lined and has a 3/4 sleeve…..great for my new WIRE CUFF BRACELET…in either SILVER or GUNMETAL….If you were lucky enough to get one of my Gunmetal earrings you are set………if not I have a “SUPPER HOOP” or as some have dubbed it the “CHUBBY HOOP”…….which will also be coming in the silver and Gunmetal………but I’m giving fair notice…..they didn’t buy a lot. The jacket is approx 26 inches long for the XS……….It also has SLANTED INSET BAND POCKETS. Why do I always bring up the point that the pockets are inset…..because it is a more designer way to construct a garment, and much more expensive way to make a band pocket………something like a bound button hole. These are important details I think you should know and appreciate when you buy a garment…..anyone’s garment. I have the jacket above with a Linea tank and the new BLACK PONTE PANT…..the BLACK PONTE LEGGING and a ballet flat would look super CHIC and super MODERN too….A great BLACK TOTE, the necessary BLACK SUNGLASSES and you will look stupendous!……………………
