Hi everyone!! I hope you have all recovered from the Linea Marathon!
First, I want to discuss yesterday and then the jewelry “wardrobe ” above.
My TSV day is over, and we are home with the girls and they couldn’t be happier. The little one, Samantha [Sammy], is a real daddies girl, and would not leave me alone for one second. When I sat down to watch some TV last night, she was all over me wanting her kisses and to be tickled! We left Ct. on Sunday at about 1:30pm, arriving in West Chester PA. about 4:30pm. I first stopped at the hotel to drop Jac off and bring the bags in, and then off I went to the QVC Studio to bring the accessories and prop clothing for the presentations. I worked with the stylists, setting up each show and putting the TSV looks together for each appearance I would make during the day. I also had meetings with the producers of each show, explaining how I wanted the clothes presented and which models would have to make an early exit to be able to make their next change…..there is much more to this than meets the eye. Hats off to the creative team at QVC who did the wonderful photographs of the model in the TSV navy and ivory jacket…..that were used for the advertising. I thought it looked very upscale and very editorial. Then I went back to the hotel…..showered and rested for a little while before heading back to QVC for the marathon day. All my girls were there…..Kate, Angela, Chantal, Brenda, and my Italian bomb shell….Maria. They couldn’t have been happier for me to have this TSV…..I have worked with most of them for the 13 years I have been at QVC. Leah looked amazing!! and I couldn’t stop looking at her in the monitor, and thinking WOW! Then the girls got dressed, Jac gave me a BIG KISS, and the show started……the hour was over in a flash……we were all happy. I was going to go back to the hotel as I was not scheduled to be on the 3am “hit”, and when I told the girls, who were all booked as LINEA MODELS, to be there…..there was disappointment in their “puppy dog eyes” when I told them I wasn’t going to be there. Jac said ….”Oh yes we are”, and I was glad to be there with my girls. I went to the producer of the 3am show and told him …If my girls are going to be there then I’m going to be there too! He told me I really didn’t have to do it, and I should get some rest…..but if my girls were going to be there at 3am, I would be there too. The rest of the day went like clock work, and everyone more than did what was necessary. I know there have been questions asked why I wasn’t on PM Style. I received the schedule of exactly when my TSV date and show times, as well as what time the “hits” would be during the day…… well in advance of the show day. PM Style was never planned. Personally, I thought that was a mistake, because my working ladies, if they were not up for the midnight show, did not get a chance to see a live TSV presentation, and for that I am very sorry, but I do not make these decisions. We, the vendors, are given the dates and times by the QVC planners, and that my friends….. is that. My best compliment for the day came from Mary Beth Roe, who was so looking forward to working with me. She told me, before the show started…..standing in the models room, that she had seen the midnight presentation with Leah and bought 4 jackets for HERSELF. She is a Linea Lady and one of the sweetest women you will ever meet….she is a doll! She didn’t really want to say anything about her purchase on air, because she was afraid it might not sound right, but I convinced her she had to. If she loved the pieces so much that she had to have them for herself….she got the sweaters and skirts too….then that was the best endorsement. When she said, on air, that she loved everything about the jacket and she sees it all……she meant it. That made my day!! We did not have a sell out on the jacket, but it did do extremely well, in spite of the fact that it was really too soon after Christmas o have a “Designer” apparel TSV, but that’s just my opinion. All in all it was a great success and I only have all of you to thank for your belief in me…….From the bottom of my heart, and Jac’s…..we thank you.
The picture above is my idea of what your Linea wardrobe of jewelry is starting to look like with the addition of the new pieces. The wave earrings, J274836, the wave necklace J274835, the new watch with the panther link strap J273959, [none of my watches have nickle, I double checked with the watch maker], and the demi hoop earring, J270391……along with the chain necklace, bracelet, the chain hoop, love knots, multi cross necklace and earring, and the earlier metal pieces, you are building quite a collection of essential and fantasy metal pieces………………..with more wonderful things to come……enjoy…..much LOVE, Louis
