A230883 The WK SWEATER

It has been brought to my attention that the bust measurement on the new scoop neck sweater is a little smaller than usual. I compared it to other WK sweaters and it is a wee bit smaller. If you are in between sizes or well endowed, you may want to consider sizing up a size. If you are not so, or average I think our normal size will be fine. Take a good look at the collage photos of the sweater and make your own judgment.

“JANUARY SNEAK PEEK #7, THE TSV!!!”

Would you believe….the day has come…..a LINEA TSV!!!!! It’s been a LONG time between DRINKS, and I know everyone was feeling very parched, but the day HAS come and I hope you are happy with my offering! When I was told by my buyer to come up with a TSV proposal, after I got up from the floor, I thought OK, what should this be???? After so many years it had better be something good…….. WK sweater??? no I have BIG programs in WK coming up and I’ve got those bases covered, a dress…..to chancy and not everyone is on the dress band wagon……..for me there was NO QUESTION……..it had to be a jacket….that’s what I have always, through my entire career, been know for and that’s what I do best…..but which jacket???A blazer….no too basic, but I’m known for blazers….so how can we tweak it…..light bulb!!…. The DENIM JACKET, A222543, in a Ponte Knit…..was the answer for me. Almost EVERYONE loved the style and the fabric, [read the reviews], so I said “let’s do it with a twist…..a new fabric and some wonderful colors!” VOILA  the  TSV was born!!!!!!!!!! The colors being offered are……….IVORY……..BLACK…….NAVY……CORAL……IRIS…….SEA GREEN……..This jacket style and measurement, fit wise, is almost identical to the denim….. so whatever size you purchased in the denim…..get the exact same size. This jacket was fit, and fit and re-fit by my team and the QVC team and it meets ALL OF OUR STANDARDS! The length of the jacket is approx 24 1/2 inches long for the XS, which is exactly like the denim jacket. From the outside it is almost identical. We added a SEPARATE CUFF which is slightly different from the denim jacket. but that was the only outside change. The cuff is double fabric with three working “SIGNATURE BUTTONS”, so you can turn the cuff back for a slightly more casual attitude, and for those with shorter arms this will solve that problem and still look GOOD. It also shows off all of your NEW LINEA WATCHES an BRACELETS! There are NINE SIGNATURE buttons on this jacket, three on each sleeve and three down the front. There is also a spare of each size on the inside of the jacket. I would remove them and store them in a safe place….ALSO!!! be sure to check your buttons to make sure they are secure….we speak, we cajole, we plead… to make sure the buttons are sewn well, but my Chinese isn’t so good!….so double check. We have been very democratic….there are six colors to choose from and three have silver buttons and three have gold buttons. The Ivory, Navy and Coral have GOLD…..the Black, Sea Green and Iris have SILVER The next question was…..to line or not to line. We discussed and discussed and what we came up with was….we would do both. The front is lined to cover the pocket bag and keep it clean looking.. The back and the sleeves are unlined. Let me be very clear…..this was not done to cut corners! This was done for two very good reasons…..the first, because it was a knit fabric, without the lining the fabric would have MAXIMUM STRETCH. Second, without the lining the jacket would be lighter and COOLER, which would allow you to wear it LONGER into the SEASON.  You will notice some seams are piped and some are marrowed, again, not to cut corners, but to provide maximum stretch….and what shows when you hang your jacket up were piped……..piped seams do not stretch. All of the seams on this jacket have 1/4 inch top stitching……this accentuates the shape of the jacket, and in the back where there are many seams for shape, it gives a corset look, which is very flattering. ……..THE PEPLUM…….the BIG CONVERSATION IS…..is a peplum flattering or isn’t it?????I have been a designer for over 35 years….I started when I was 10…LOL…..I have worked with and dressed a zillion women of all ages, and sizes, and IMHO, a MODIFIED PEPLUM, which this is, is very flattering for those who have JLO behinds and more……and for those who are flat. This is not a peplum that shoots out and has lots of shirring. It adds fabric and ease where many women NEED IT. One of my biggest PET PEEVES is seeing a woman wearing a tailored jacket with a back vent, and the vent is SPREADING WIDE OPEN because the jacket is too TIGHT ACROSS THE BUM! With a peplum, all of this is AVOIDED. I know there are skeptics who will not agree with me no matter what I say, and to them I say, “this jacket is not for you”. To those with an open mind I say, “give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised”. For the rest of you, I know you are going to love this jacket, and your biggest problem will be…………WHICH COLOR??????Scroll down for more pictures!!!……….Enjoy……MUCH LOVE………………Louis

“JANUARY SNEAK PEEK #7, TSV CON’T”

The January TSV jacket can be worn many different ways. With just the skirt, pant and WK sweater there are multiple ways of putting it together…..FIRST, a three piece matching suit where the jacket, skirt and sweater are all in the same color. This can only be achieved with the pant in the IVORY, BLACK or NAVY colors, but the skirt and WK top are available in all six colors…..Also the A214116, KATE SHIRT comes in the new SEA GREEN which is a great match……that’s an ALL AMERICAN ….CLASSY LOOK!…..SECOND, match the jacket and sweater, and have a contrast bottom….notice the picture at the bottom RIGHT, where the jacket and the sweater are in navy with the coral skirt, which becomes the focal point…..a great way to wear a color bottom…….THIRD Match the WK sweater to the bottom with a contrast jacket. Notice the photo at the bottom LEFT, where I have paired the navy WK sweater with the navy skirt, and the Coral jacket…..the jacket becomes the focal point. ……..FOURTH, a totally UNMATCHED suit…..for instance a Coral jacket, an Ivory sweater and a Navy pant…….think of all the possibilities! and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO MIX COLORS! As long as you keep one of the colors ivory, black or navy….this is a look easily achieved. Mixing THREE COLORS is only for the sure handed, but it can have a GREAT EFFECT……….NOW…..after all this….. think of what you already own to even extend your looks further……Bohos, abstract prints…feather prints….on and on and on……Pull out your BYZANTINE , CHAIN , the new FLORE de LIS cross and station necklace, and PEARL jewelry and start accessorizing. Think of how wonderful your gold ball necklace, from seasons past, is going to look!….AND THE NEW WATCH was created purposefully to go with these new TSV jackets………scroll down for more pictures…………ENJOY, ENJOY……….MUCH LOVE……………………Louis

“JANUARY SNEAK PEEK, TSV CON’T”

Along with the TSV Ponte knit jacket. I will be offering two additional PONTE KNIT piece.

The SKIRT, A231138. The skirt is available in all six colors………….BLACK…..NAVY……IRIS……SEA GREEN……CORAL…….IVORY………… The Ivory skirt is the only skirt that is fully LINED! The skirt has a two inch wide, CONTOUR waist band, which IS the most comfortable for the majority of women. There is no shirring or gathering or gores in this waist band…….it is totally flat, but still has plenty of STRETCH. There is a two button closure on the waist band, and the buttons are dyed to match. The skirt also has a zip front, for a sportier, trouser look. There is also a back vent for easy walking…..DO NOT FORGET to snip the back thread in the vent that was put there for shipping purposes only!!!! You would be surprised how many women forget, or don’t realize it’s there at all…..well maybe you wouldn’t be so surprised…..I’ve certainly done worse! I think you will find this skirt has a lot of uses as you find other things in your closets to put with it…..maybe a printed peasant blouse that you have been looking for just the right pencil skirt to go with it. MIX YOUR COLORS!!! Do not be afraid to wear a SEA GREEN SWEATER with an IRIS SKIRT…..have your accessories pull the two together…..I always recommend a scarf with the colors in it to pull it all together….or multi color beads that have the two colors is a sure way to make it all work…..then throw on the IVORY TSV JACKET and you will look like a million dollars…….I promise.

The PANT,A231139. This is a slim leg pant. Many many of you have requested I bring back my slim leg pant that seemed to be flattering for you…..this is a new version. Again, the waist band is like the skirt…..a 2 inch wide contour shape, which should sit approx from the waist down…..of course, that depends wear your waist is……for some it may sit lower and for some it may sit at the waist……like water…it will settle at just the right position. The same two dyed to match buttons and front zip are the details of this pant. This Ponte knit pant is UNLINED. You can wear it now, and straight on into the spring and summer. What makes this pant unique is the BACK SEAMS! There will be NO BAGGY butts here! It also is a wonderful way to alter the pant for the exact perfect fit for your individual body……only if you need to. The colors of the pant are more limited……IVORY………. NAVY………..BLACK. Again, these pants were fit by my team and the QVC fitting department and we are both happy with the final result. I know if you are…..you are going to want every color and two of each….especially the ivory…….Both garments are hand wash…..the instructions are inside………………….I will suggest, and this is only my opinion……..however you decide to clean the jacket…..hand washing or dry clean…..I would do the same with the matching bottoms so they always look the same………………….Enjoy…..Enjoy…..Enjoy…..Much  LOVE……..Louis

“JANUARY SNEAK PEEK, THE TSV CON’T”

The last collage of photographs is the A230883, the WHISPER KNIT SWEATER. This sweater is available in ALL of the colors that the TSV JACKET comes in…..IVORY…..BLACK….NAVY…..CORAL….SEA GREEN…..IRIS……. I really don’t have to tell you the virtues of Whisper Knit……you know them all already!!….the comfort, the easy care, and the glorious colors have been spoken of many times. The only question was…..what would be the right style to go with the TSV jacket. I chose a scoop neck short sleeve style that I felt can be something you can wear all year long, casual or dressy, and mix with many things you already own…….a great neckline for showing off your jewelry……and don’t be afraid to mix your metals…..it’s a happening look! The sleeve is a short sleeve, but not too short, and hits above the elbow…….of course, depending on your arm length and proportion. There is a tubular finish at the neckline, and the sleeve has a 2 1/2 inch ribbed border. The sweater measures 23 inches long for the xs. It also has an 8 inch rib border…..or as some call it…… “a waist whittling border”. I know this will be a welcome addition to your already bulging collection of WHISPER KNITS…………..I sincerely hope……. all that I have shown you for my first TSV in years and it’s companion pieces …….. is something you might consider………………………………………………………

……………………………………………….Enjoy…………..MUCH LOVE……………………………Louis
