Browsing through the Linea jewelry site, I noticed there are no colors photos for the PINK and NAVY pearls……….so I thought I would post my own pictures for those of you who are interested in these colors. The pearls are J264035 and are avail in the ……….PERFECTLY PINK……………. NAVY……………….. and the reorder GREY. I know many of you have asked for PASTEL fall colors, and even though I really didn’t do much pastel, except the PINK QUARTZ coat, I thought the pink pearls would be a wonderful way to satisfy your desire. I especially love the Pink WK sweater with the new hounds tooth skirt in the ivory/black combination…..finished off with the pink pearls. Since I do not have a matching pink pearl earring, I thought the gold demi hoop earring, J270391, worked well with the pearls. Also, in the photos above is the new NAVY pearls worn with the navy silk/cashmere Linea turtleneck and a pair of ivory trousers……….a very classy, timeless and chic look. These are also colors that can be worn all year. The grey, which was brought back by popular demand, is going to be even more important for Fall 2013….hint…hint……………………What great Christmas presents any one of these would be……………..Enjoy, much Love…………Louis

The “October Sneak Peek #14 & #15”, will be the FINAL Sneak Peeks for the OCT 19th SHOW. It is a beautiful LACE CARDIGAN…..A229467. If you haven’t heard “LACE” is one of, if not the KEY FABRIC TREND for Fall 2012, and it will be continuing right into Spring of 2013. This is one of MY PERSONAL FAVORITES! You will be seeing a lot of lace out there and most of it, unless it is true designer at true designer prices, is just awful. When I found this lace, which was the only one like it amongst a rack full of lace, I did the “happy dance”…..then I asked…gulp….how much was it. Well it definitely way HIGH but I said what the hay….nothing ventured….nothing gained….the buyers loved it, and they have seen plenty of lace from many vendors. What makes this particular lace so special?? First it’s the 75% RAYON and the 25% NYLON blend. When you enlarge the photo above, by double clicking, you will notice the special weave and the two tone effect. The nylon is the black thread that is the background and weaves through out the lace motif…..giving the lace strength. The Rayon becomes the FLORAL PATTERN. It takes color incredibly, while the nylon always remains black. The rayon also has a sheen that reflects light in a very romantic way. The other quality of this lace that attracted me was the weight of it. Many laces are flimsy and have no weight or drape. NOT this one…..the only way I can describe the weight is….. the way OLD METAL TINSEL used to feel compared with the horrible weightless, blowy tinsel they replaced it with when lead was no longer allowed……………………..oh for the good old days…………………I don’t recall anyone ever dieing from Christmas tinsel!?…………………………….Excuse me I digress……………………………….the colors………………………………OLIVE……………..MAGENTA…………………SILVER GRAY……………….The cardigan measures approx. 31 inches long to the front point and 26 inches long in the center back….so it has an asymmetrical hem. I know many of you do not see lace as a casual item…. well, maybe your not going to do house work in it, but it can certainly be worn for the day. I think I have illustrated that in the picture above with the OLIVE TURTLENECK, the OLIVE LACE cardigan tied at the waist….notice how beautifully it drapes……and JEANS….BOHO CHIC……VICTORIAN CHIC, it will certainly turn heads when you go out for lunch with the girls. Of course the BLACK and MAGENTA turtlenecks work beautifully too. The MAGENTA LACE is worn with the sunburst pleated skirt and a matching Magenta tank. I love the cardigan wrapped at the waist and tied in the back….a great look for HOLIDAY PARTIES. The SILVER GRAY lace cardigan is worn slightly wrapped and a skinny black belt to hold it in place……a black tank and the BLACK WK PANT or my BLACK or OLIVE JERSEY pull-on pant A221815,will  finish the look. Take a special note of the JET/GUNMETAL and CRYSTAL BEADS in the photo in the upper left corner….on the silver lace…..they will be avail in NOV! along with a matching bracelet, earring and broach. They will also come in a second SURPRISE color way that I know you will all love! I will sneak peek them during the show….so keep sharp!!  Of course the cardigan looks GREAT just worn simply  HANGING OPEN;. It flows and drapes like as dream….can you tell I love this piece. This I can guarantee……you will find nothing quite like it …..in my specially dyed colors, at the incredible price it will be offered at…..and I don’t even know what price it is!!!….but it will be incredible for what you are getting.

Sneak peak #15 is A229468, the matching tank. It is made in my 96% Rayon/4% Spandex jersey blend. It is beautifully made and the neckline and armholes are piped in the self knit to give it a clean and elegant finish. The colors are ………..MAGENTA……………….OLIVE……………….BLACK………….. This tank was specifically designed and dyed to go with the lace, but they make great tanks for all seasons…..and they are in colors you rarely find in tank tops. These are “ESSENTIAL’  investment pieces. The tank is approx. 25 inches long. They are smooth as powder and feel incredible against the skin…..really what else do you need from a tank?……………………………

HELLO…….I have 3 bits of news to tell all of you:
1- For all of my Petite Gals………….I was remiss in not letting you know that the IVORY and BLACK pant on the Oct 19th show will also be avail in a petite length……….the style number is A229473
2- For all of you who missed out on the MUSHROOM TURTLENECK….it has been REORDERED, [I didn’t even know about it], and it will be avail. sometime in Dec.

The “Demi Hoop Earring” is J270391, and is avail right now in ………..GOLD…………………SILVER………………GUNMETAL………………………WHY THIS EARRING and WHY NOW? Now that, hopefully, the Linea Line of Jewelry is established…..let’s keep our fingers crossed…..I felt is was extremely important to create some “ESSENTIAL ” pieces. …….pieces you can wear every day with anything you want. I have done many articles of clothing that are trimmed in either gold , silver or gunmetal buttons and findings, so I felt it was important to have an earring that would work with any and all of these pieces. I also felt that with many of the bold necklaces, sometimes a more subtle earring was necessary, of course that depends on the outfit, the event and the mood you happen to be in. These earring are avail in both clip and pierced [I believe the gold clip is sold out all ready]. As I said these will be your wear with ANYTHING earrings…..when in doubt these will always work. After seeing the photos on the Linea web site I thought it was important that you saw pictures that better capture what these actually look like. They all have a shiny finish and are definitely not matte……even so….they still look great with ALL of the Linea jewelry….from the very first strand of pearls with the gold and black beads, the dramatic gold ball necklace, the black and gold bead necklace to the current SILVER CROSSES , GUNMETAL LOVE KNOTS and the newest BRONZE MULTI and GUNMETAL MULTI [which QVC calls BLACK?]. There is NO NICKEL in this jewelry……I know they look simple, but many times SIMPLICITY is what is called for……………………Enjoy…………….much Love………………..Louis

“October Sneak Peek # 13″ is A229472…….the Polyester/Rayon/Span trousers. The colors are ………IVORY…………BLACK………… The inseam measures approx. 32 inches and the pant has an approx. 10 inch leg opening. This is a zip front trouser and it has elastic gores in the side front and back……leaving the front and back of the pant perfectly flat. This is an UNLINED pant…….. I know the question will be…..”why unlined”? There is a method to my madness. From now until next MARCH there will be three ivory pants in three different fabrics and three black….and that will be all of the ivory or black pants for spring and summer season….the first is this GABERDINE fabric UNLINED, the second in JAN. will be an Ivory PONTE KNIT pant, UNLINED and in FEB. there will be an Ivory CREPE pant….. LINED. Each pant is a different silhouette and has a different purpose. These pants are really SEASON-LESS because they are unlined. There are separate pant liners you can buy for these pants and they work well for knit pants too……. if you so desire…..they may be a handy thing to have.. There are no pockets in these pants. They have an easy “GARBO” or “HEPBURN” look to them. As far as the sizing and  fit……they will be NUMERICALLY SIZED…….if my pants have fit you before ….these will too…….All I can say is every single time I have done an IVORY pant it is gone, and it is on a very very very rare occasion that they are reordered……By the way the gorgeous GOLD NECKLACE and DROP earring will be new for JAN.     the earring will be a little shorter….We all felt is was a bit to long for many women, but it still looks fabulous. I believe it will be in gold and silver…………..An important note!….when you look at the pictures above, realize that the pants are not “on” the mannequin…….they are just tucked under an elastic in the front…..I can not put pants on this particular mannequin….just skirts….so if they look like they are hanging strangely…that is the reason.
