………………..This morning when I went for my morning stroll through the garden with my cup of orange spice tea………I spotted this very large Eagle high up in the tallest tree……I would guess he was on the hunt for morning breakfast. The only thing that moved was its’ head…surveying the ground below…….I rarely ever see what I think is a Bald Eagle or an Asprey…..It was truly wonderful!
………………We have had a remarkable string of PERFECT DAYS! and not a rain drop or cloud in sight…..It’s a beautiful sight today with all the boats…….No rain is great, but it’s also bad…..The trees need rain so their autumn leaves turn into beautiful colors…or else…..they will just dry up, turn brown and fall off….which they have already started to do…..We didn’t get any rain from Hurricane Francine. It dissipated and departed the land far to our south. We could have used a day of good rain!…..They are predicting some welcome rain this week……However, today is a day for sailing, and bird watching….even just anchoring your boat, and trying your luck at fishing….The birds are all looking west taking in the rays of the sun, as if they are all waiting to see the sun set…..not a bad way to spend your time on a magnificent day!

………………The obvious difference between a day table scape and a night table scape…..is THE LIGHTING…………For fall I like a warm yellow light that creates a very cozy welcoming environment……I like to add special elements that say fall…..like the pumpkins and gourds that light up…….Everything is warm, from the brown table cloth to the straw place mates and gold chargers, to the tortoise glasses, and spoons, knives and forks….The cylinder lights are on their warm yellow setting and the candles are all gold…The bud vases all are a deep amber which reflect the light beautifully, and the center vase is a gleaming GOLD…….The colors of the flowers reflect the colors of the season…….I like to make the atmosphere as welcoming, and relaxing as I can.
…………………….I love the warm light and the cozy effect it creates……It really is all in the details in creating a beautiful table setting……It makes it a happy place to sit with family or friends, and spend a wonderful evening.
