……………………..The TAUPE LEOPARD PRINT JACKET, A201016, has been reordered. This is not your typical taupe color….it has pink in it….. so it works very well with the A255670 CINNAMON FLECKED V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE SWEATER [shown above]. Again, select any BLACK bottom depending on the weather and the occasion…….anything from a  legging, Capri pants, Ponte pants , WK pants or skirts….the BOHO or even Black WALKING SHORTS in the warmer months. The TAUPE is a very sophisticated neutral……………enjoy……………Much Love…………..Louis

I would venture to guess that this BLACK & WHITE combination has been the most popular of all the colors that have been avail. in this LEOPARD PRINT JACKET, A201016. It was one of the original colors and, after four or five years, continues to be reordered. I think one of the reasons for its’ popularity is almost everyone loves Black & White. It ‘s very versatile  because there are so many ways you can wear it. Above, I chose one of my favorite WK sweaters, A255148, which is also avail in beautiful colors…..ALL of which would look great under this jacket. That is exactly why the B & W is so versatile. For the more adventurous….I would suggest any colored bottom….from pencil skirts to  colorful jeans, crop pants Capris and shorts. I have done so many colors in the W Knits….from the Fiesta colors [ Hot Pink, Lime, Aqua and Tangerine], to the classic Sunburst Yellow, Turquoise and Red…..to Topaz, Pomegranate and Tobacco….all would look great with the B & W……There are endless ways to make this jacket fresh and new with each wearing. Above, I added color with accessories. I chose three strands of the RED and GOLD BEADS, J290367…..a gold hoop to finish it off….well not quite…..To add a designer flare…I will show the black Herringbone tights, A260033……which I think is a marvelous mix of patterns and textures. I think the Black Herringbone tights, because of their open pattern, are a wonderful transition into spring. For those of you who shy away from skirts after the fall, and don’t feel opaque tights are appropriate for the Spring season, and you don’t want to show your legs….the Herringbone will conceal just enough without looking heavy……so you will be able to wear short skirts well into the late spring…….Have fun mix it up….experiment…that’s what dressing is all about…………………………….enjoy…………….much Love……………………….Louis

I know someone asked if the new BRIGHT OLIVE WK sweater with the rolled edge neck trim will work with the BRIGHT OLIVE FAUX SHETLAND PONCHO…..the answer is YES. The same color standard was used for both yarns. The Shetland came out paler and of course heathered compared to the WK which is stronger and more saturated…..that’s the difference in the yarns….so it is interesting to see how the same color dyed in two different yarns comes out…….I love the stronger color peeking through at the sides……They are wonderful together.

…………………There are always women on the hunt for the perfect LBD, and this may be just the one for you……..the style number is…..A262034…….The silhouette has a FIT and FLARE SHAPE. The skirt has beautiful “CONES”. That is what we in the business call the undulating folds in the skirt. These cones are by no means an accident. The skirt is draped to create these folds which give grace and movement as you move. The dress has PRINCESS SEAMS and a horizontal seam near the waist, but only on the center panel. For you pattern makers and dress makers…..this seam is there to help create the cones in the skirt, or else all the fullness would be at the sides of the dress. How it’s achieved is too technical for our purposes…..The length is approx 38 inches for the xxs……The dress has short sleeves and an invisible zipper in the back…..I’m not sure if it’s really necessary, but it’s there just in case. The neckline is a high scoop….perfect for showing off all kinds of jewelry……In this case the GOLD PALM FROND NECKLACE which is due back in Feb. along with the matching earring. These are two spectacular pieces of jewelry and the manufacturing and plating is SUPERB!………………..Again, mixing UPTOWN CHIC with DOWNTOWN EDGE….I put the HOODED PONTE BLAZER over the dress and they work perfectly together [photos at the bottom]……What you don’t see…..that makes this TERRIFIC outfit a FANTASTIC one ….is….the model will be wearing the BLACK HERRINGBONE TIGHTS, A260033….Why these? Because the pattern of the herringbone subtly works with the shape of the PALM FRONDS….Ladies….this IS A DESIGNER TOUCH…..With a high heel….not necessarily too high…..pointy toe BLACK SUEDE pump….you will look like a million!…………………………………enjoy……………..much Love………………………..Louis
