THE ASYMMETRIC HEM CARDIGAN, A255142, has already been posted on the Linea QVC site and is ready for ordering………….The color above is…………BLACK……………You know the fabric…..It’s the same crushed gauze as A233187, the button front shirt with the asymmetric hem, which was reordered this season. The fabric is 100% polyester. Why polyester?? It is the only fiber that will permanently pleat and take these special treatments like the “crush” pattern this fabric has. If it were cotton eventually the “crush” would wash out or press out……..Polyester is the only fiber with “memory”…………..The OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN with the ASYMMETRIC HEM is a combination of the tunic shirt many of you love, mentioned above, and one of my favorite silhouettes….the KIMONO. One of the BEST FEATURES of this cardigan is the ……….POCKETS!……….This is a marvelous cover up and perfect for the hottest climes……..It is EASY, GOSSAMER. COOL & BREEZY. Wear it over the new SLEEVELESS cotton shirt, and any of the WK SWEATERS…..and fabulous over the NEW BODYSUIT…………For a very pulled together and coordinated look wear it with the matching SHELL, A255123. This has not been posted yet. It is a wonderful piece to wear with the matching cardigan or on it’s own. The top is approx. 26 1/2 inches long for the XS. It has two layers as a design feature and to prevent see through. The bottom layer hangs below the top layer by approx 3 inches….give or take….to create the LAYERED effect. Both layers have SIDE SLITS which gives the top a very breezy attitude……Wear it casual/dressy with the WHITE COTTON/SPAN CAPRI LEGGING, A255122, coming for the June show…..or office/diner/special occasion with a BLACK WHISPER KNIT PENCIL SKIRT. I would love it with the black/white or dk. tan bodysuit or tank, and the new cotton shorts….flat sandals, sunglasses and a tote…..very CHIC! ULTRA SOPHISTICATED!!……..Please notice the new 6 strand LINEA RED NECKLACE J290366, that I have mixed with other necklaces from my personal collection. ……………………………….I LOVE WHITE ALL YEAR LONG……but……………in the SUMMER…..it’s the absolute BEST………Besides being the COOLEST color you can wear, because it refracts and does not absorbs the heat of  the suns rays the way darker colors do…………it’s simply GLAMOROUS!………All of the feather weight layers of the top and the cardigan, one upon the other, give a very ethereal look…………very GRECIAN……..Over the black legging A255122, is one possible way to go….over the same legging in white gives a more dramatic look, over black, navy or white pants another alternative…….over a pencil skirt or my maxi rayon/span skirt….a totally different look…..mix in color and you have a plethora of ways to mix and match…………….Don’t forget over a simple tank dress. I would recommend ordering your normal size. With this type of cardigan….size is relative…..it should be easy and flowing for the full effect of the garment….This cardigan is the perfect summer cover up and the top is cool, and comfortable…..Isn’t that what you want to wear in the summer…..Looking at the photos makes me long for a trip to the Caribbean or the Greek Islands……….ANYWHERE would be perfect!!!……………………..scroll down…………..

…………………….The blue is the color of the sky when it’s really BLUE…..intensify that and this is the “SKY BLUE” of the CARDIGAN & LAYERED SHELL…..It has a very slight touch of gray just to keep the color sophisticated and not baby………The SHELL, A255123, is avail in the SKY BLUE too, but I chose to show the cardigan in the photos as a separate piece. and worn the way you would wear any other cardigan………………Above, I have the WK V-NECK TANK, A233942, in WHITE, this summer’s perfect layering piece…..with the WHITE legging. The new WHITE COTTON SATEEN crop pant or the WHITE JEAN would look just as beautiful. Of course this is a very JEAN FRIENDLY COLOR..and looks wonderful with BLACK and PEWTER GRAY…….With the SILVER PALM FROND jewelry…it’s a knock out. I believe only the short necklace is avail…..but very few……..I am sure, for those of you who are always looking for something new, cool and comfortable to cover their arms in the summer….this will be a terrific choice……………enjoy……….much Love……………………..Louis

When something you design comes out exactly….no….even BETTER than you had hoped….it’s time for a designer to rejoice! ….This is OUR WORK….this is what we LOVE to do……That is the case with the ….TILE PRINT…..The inspiration for the print came from actual tiles and the execution is PHENOMENAL!!!

The MARIGOLD TILE PRINT TOP, A255179, is the same polyester/span jersey that I have used many many times before. Why do I keep using this fabric???….because it sells and it reorders…..you can not deny or fight success…..The body of the top is also one I keep using over and over…..again, because it is proven… the majority of the Linea Ladies LOVE it. It has a V-neckline and a 3/4 sleeve, and is the perfect silhouette for the TILE PRINT……..THIS IS A PLACEMENT PRINT….so every top will look exactly like the one in my photos….You will not have a motif landing in an unwanted place….that applies for the skirt too…..Please NOTICE how the COFFEE BEAN portion of the print CARVES into the body at the WAIST….this is not happenstance…..This was designed on purpose to  create an hour glass effect, and  to make the waist look smaller……There are many colors in the print, but the four predominate colors are MARIGOLD, COFFEE BEAN, WHITE and JADE…..there is also a sky blue and a red orange…..the others I’ll let you discover……….The MARIGOLD PRINT TILE SKIRT, A255181…..is a simple pencil skirt, and all of the fit details are listed on the QVC LINEA site. It has a back zip with a button. The skirt is fully LINED in a tricot knit…Why line it?…..it feels a little more substantial and you will have more confidence wearing a knit skirt…….The print itself is a terrific CAMOUFLAGE!…..There are so many ways to mix and match the two MARIGOLD PIECES…..First, I LOVE IT AS A TWO PIECE DRESS……..it’s a right off the RUNWAY LOOK, and I think any woman of any SIZE can wear it! ….Then start mixing……the COFFEE BEAN COTTON SLEEVELESS SHIRT…..THE COFFEE BEAN WHISPER KNIT SWEATERS…..the new JADE COTTON/SPAN  KNIT TUNIC, A255145, think of the T SHIRT DRESS as a tunic….scoop neck, short sleeves and same pocket detail……..Anything you may own in “REEF GREEN” will work…..remember that color from a few seasons back…..There will also be a NEW STYLE  WK  TANK that was designed specifically to go with the tile print skirt. The color that will coordinate with the MARIGOLD is………JADE…..Wear it with the COFFEE BEAN OPEN FRONT KIMONO CARDIGAN, and you will have one WOW outfit!!!
