All I can say about this BODY SUIT in BLACK is…………………WOW!!……………..Even if you think you can’t possibly wear a bodysuit……you may want to consider this body suit in the BLACK…..under a jacket, cardigan or a breezy georgette shirt tunic….you may surprise yourself…….The construction of this body suit is exactly like the white…..meaning……the body still has a double layer of fabric!……There is something important to understand about bodysuits! I give you a double row of snaps for an important reason. Not everyone’s torsos are the same ………some very short women have long torsos and short legs….they will need the longer length, some tall women have short torsos and very long legs….they may not need the extra length……This double snap position will also determine how much the vertical stretch will be…..which will also determine how deep the v-neck will be….so it will not be the same on everyone……likewise the armhole! If you stretch it more the V and the armhole will be lower….if you stretch it less  the V and armhole will be higher…..For instance….Jac likes to keep it on the shorter length to get a lower neckline………I know there are some women who just don’t like a bodysuit, but  will like the top of this garment……….they have the option, if they so desire, to bring it to a seamstress and have the bottom cut off and have a straight hem made………there are many ways to “skin the cat”…………I know that saying applies, but what does it actually mean? LOL…………………………………………….

Hello everyone! I know some already are way ahead of me with this info, but I thought I would post it here anyway……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

First….the A254438, SWING PULL-ON SKIRT is in and ready to order in the BLACK [silver gray], RED [strawberry pink] and LAPIS [pale blue]….along with the matching top that has already been posted, and some already own….If you want clothes for the summer that are truly weightless…..I would compare this fabric…weight wise….with the Feather Jersey….some may call it thin, but it is NOT see through….who wants heavy when it’s 80 something and higher degrees?I know many of you were waiting for the skirt to be posted so….yesterday I asked my buyer why it wasn’t posted with the top and she said she would find out…..sometimes asking is getting…………………………..

Second………….the PALM FROND earring…GOLD & SILVER……pierced and clipped…..are officially SOLD OUT….I believe they are still taking wait list for those who missed out on them……….For those of you who have or are thinking about the PALM FROND NECKLACES [don’t procrastinate too long], and are looking for an alternate earring to wear….I Highly recommend J288005, the BOLD HOOP….still avail, but in the GOLD ONLY. It has enough presence to hold it’s on when wearing the Palm necklaces, but is more of an any time earring to wear with the Palms while the Palm earring is much more dramatic and should be saved for more special occasions. It’s a terrific hoop to wear with anything, anytime of day or night……anytime of year…..I am very happy that this Palm Frond group is doing well, because if it totally sells out than that will prove that there are women who are willing to spend  more money for more labor intensives higher quality jewelry…….if it doesn’t….well it will be more of a struggle to get pieces like that bought…….Ultimately, it is up to how many of you that are interested.

Third…..GOOD NEWS…………..The BLACK JET NECKLACE, J284043, that sold out in literately seconds has been reordered and is back in stock to be ordered any time……..Take my word…do not hesitate on this one. This is a necklace I show and will show constantly. If you own one and have been waiting to get a second for a more layered dramatic look….now is the time……….I always show two when they are on their own……if I mix them with other necklaces I am more than likely to only use one…..but not always……………………………………………..enjoy……………………much Love…………………………………………………Louis

The PEASANT BLOUSE, A254442, is another of the new items that will be on May 5th’s PM Style show…..the color……………………GERANIUM PINK…..and it is a wonderful FLATTERING color. The blouse is made in my POLY CREPE DE CHINE which I have used many times before….the pleated skirt in white, black and bamboo, the Ikat print skirt and top, the tunic shirt in Lapis, yellow and pink….to name a few….were all made in this fabric. Classic “peasant blouse” details…….the banded scoop neckline with shirring, the elastic cuff, side slits and dyed to match buttons down the front are all to be found on this garment. It also has raglan 3/4 sleeves and is approx 29 inches long for the xs. There is also a SELF TIE BELT that comes with the blouse, but it also looks great loose. Above, I have paired the blouse with my cotton summer shorts in black…It’s a natural with a pair of espadrilles, but with a pair of black strappy high heeled sandals….it becomes a wonderful evening look for just the right occasion……There are so many things you can wear this top with…..all of the BOHO SKIRTS….the RAYON/SPAN MAXI SKIRTS….LEGGINGS…..A SIMPLE PENCIL SKIRT…….I also love this silhouette worn under jackets for a somewhat alluring, feminine look……I like the top button worn open, and maybe some of the bottom buttons too…..The blouse is the perfect back drop for my new PALM FROND jewelry….shown here in ALL GOLD!…………………………………..enjoy……………………….much Love…………………………………….Louis

……………..The BLACK PEASANT BLOUSE is featured with…..A NEW IKAT PRINT SKIRT, A254309, which will be on my May 16th show at 4:00pm……It is in the Geranium Pink and Black combination,but more about that latter……………….BLACK & WHITE in the summer can not be beat…..If you own the new Black& White linen pieces this is the perfect compliment to them. Any white bottom will work, but don’t discount other neutral or fashion colors too……Worn over my AQUA JEANS with an American Indian belt and jewelry, or any belt would look outrageously beautiful…….again over any of the boho skirt colors…from white to black and all the colors in between will be a perfect summer outfit……. This blouse is an EASY fit…..BUY your normal size. If you read the bust measurements and think they are bigger than normal….that is due to the shirring….it’s not too big…..There is no stretch to this material.
