I just wanted to let you know Jac and I read your comments and we thank you once again for your support and caring. The major problem I had yesterday during the show was coming to the conclusion that something was wrong with Jac. Knowing her, and working with her, I know she would never miss a change let alone two……..something had to be wrong that was out of her control. I never thought for one moment the trouble was a change made during the show that caused utter chaos and confusion…..I almost left the set until finally Angela, and Chantal came out and I went over to them, covered the mike and asked if Jac was OK. They assured me she was….that’s all I cared about…………….the good news is that NY and CT never got the snow storm that was predicted and we got home without any trouble. The girls were so happy to see us.

Here we go again! The car is almost packed and Jac and I are ready for our sojourn to PA……..I can’t believe every time we go to QVC there is a SNOW STORM…..this is getting real old…..The 4am show will have some sneak peeks of things to come and a nice selection of favorites, The 2pm show is JAMMED packed with reorders and NEW…….The models will be working double time with fast changes so I can get every color on the runway. As many of you know the FISH in the GOLD TONE is in….Yes, it has finally arrived. The official word is all of the quantity for the season is here and avail to order……so if you have been waiting a year….wait no more. …………………….These two pieces, the TANK, A252353, and the SKIRT, A252354 in the RAYON/SPAN JERSEY………….are DEFINITE MUST HAVES!……These are season-less pieces that you will wear all year long. These washable pieces are the PERFECT TRAVEL pieces. These two pieces will be perfect for any & ALL OCCASIONS……Dress them UP…or dress then DOWN….you really can go anywhere in this tank and skirt…..Who doesn’t need  the PERFECT TANK and LONG SKIRT……especially in………..BLACK…….These two pieces are….THE ESSENTIALS….the pieces you build your wardrobes around. In the winter you wear it with boots and throw a chunky cardigan or jacket, maybe my black leather blazer, over the tank and skirt…..in the summer….you wear your sandals, wedges…….espadrilles….take along a shrug………..make it your statement with the accessories you chose……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

The TANK, A252353, has the perfect neckline and shoulder straps, wide enough for comfort, but still looks modern and young. What also makes this tank special is the way the neckline is finished. The armhole is PIPED, and most would finish the neckline the same, which is perfectly acceptable…but….I wanted THIS TANK to have a more DESIGNER look…. a dressier finish, so the neckline is faced with an 1 1/4 inch facing and a 1 inch top stitch. It lays absolutely flat against the body, and has a very expensive look. Actually, it is more expensive to finish this tank in this way. For all of you sewers out there you know what it takes to sew in a facing perfectly and what a challenge it is to do it with a stretchy knit!……The tank is approx. 23 inches long for the xs. I would definitely suggest to buy your normal size. This fabric is 96% Rayon and 4% Spandex, so there is lots of stretch. I have used this fabric many times…..the cowl neck tunic with the asymmetric hem, the body suit, the dance skirt etc etc…….As I always tell you…..there are all grades and weights and QUALITIES of fabrics and not all fabrics under the RAYON/SPAN UMBRELLA are equal! I have never had one complaint that this quality of rayon span pills or is too thin. The weight of this RAYON/SPAN is definitely heavier than most …..it is a QUALITY FABRIC, a DESIGNER QUALITY FABRIC…………………The BLACK BOLERO SHRUG above is my WK, A232520, and is just back in stock………..it really is the perfect proportion to wear with this TANK & LONG SKIRT………………………….

The SKIRT, A252354, is a PULL-ON SKIRT as you would expect, but since the fabric is so stretchy there is very little shirring in the elastic waist band….it is almost flat. This prevents any extra fabric at the tummy and rear…Why is this important?….because when you wear an over top, like the tank, it is nice and smooth. This is not a maxi skirt length….it measures 35 inches from the bottom of the waist band. There also is not a great sweep to this skirt…..just enough to fall and drape gracefully, as you can see in the photos. If you must shorten….it’s an easy alteration as this skirt has, and needs, no lining………I really can’t think of a more IDEAL long skirt….one I know you will wear for years and years………….my only suggestion would be………you might want to get TWO in the BLACK…..just to be sure………..scroll down………………….much Love…………………………………..Louis

The second color being offered in the TANK, A252353 & the SKIRT, A252354 is……………………..TWIG……….For all of my neutral color lovers….this is for you……As a COLUMN of COLOR, it is rich and looks very CHIC & so DESIGNER, but it can easily be mixed with a range of colors,,,,from white and ivory to black, walnut and navy……not to mention my TWIG/WHITE end on end LINEN BLEND jacket and pant coming in April. I will say this is a difficult color to match up with other solid fabrics in TWIG……As hard as we tried they are off as you can see with the TWIG WK BOLERO, A232520, above. For those of you who want it exact exact….it is not…I would then suggest a contrast color. I however, find it an acceptable tonal match and would definitely wear them together. Taupes [which twig is in the family of], and greys are the hardest colors to match fabric to fabric. Of course, since the tank and skirt where cut from the same lots of fabric,,,,they match perfectly. You really can have fun accessorizing this color. I have chosen Horn and bone necklaces from my personal collection to use in the photos, but my BRONZE FACETED GLASS BEADS, J284043, and DROP EARRING,J284042, are the perfect compliment to TWIG……Silver, gunmetal and chocolate are all metals that look wonderful with Twig……Turquoise, butter, nectar, hot pink, lime, navy and black are just a few accent colors that work beautifully with Twig…………….you can go NEUTRAL all the way, or accent TWIG with COLOR………both look equally good……….scroll down……………………………………..
