Another alternative as a cover up to THE LACE DRESS, A233180, is the LACE EMB. CARDIGAN, A221793. The off handedness of mixing the two unrelated lace patterns is exactly what makes this CHIC and SOPHISTICATED. There was a time when everything had to be a perfect match…………when the emb. in the black sweater HAD to be the same color as the Bamboo lace…….those days are long gone, and the PERFECT MATCH, in high fashion circles, is considered  very dated  and not what’s happening……of course that is a matter of opinion……….I will say wearing outfits that look like you put them together, and were not preplanned in a store, does have a certain edge…..a very over used word, but there aren’t any good replacements…..I’ll leave that to the next “Fashion Guru” to come up with one……….This cardigan also gives the whole look a relaxed casual feel…..perfect for a graduation, a wedding shower or even the wedding itself……………The idea is to collect pieces that will give the clothes you already own a “NEW LOOK” a new importance. Hi all……I need to come up with a “name” for the silk/ cashmere sweaters…..and I am just terrible at it. You were so good with the Whisper Knit …..that I thought it would be wise to come to you again…..my only request is we keep the conversation and suggestions right here on my website and not open it up on the Q forum. I’d rather it be a surprise. You may be asking why do we need a name for this yarn……and the answer is……. there will be…. fingers crossed……. an OLO group of these sweaters come Oct. This yarn is exclusive to me as the mill is only spinning it for me. You can not find this blend of yarns anywhere else on QVC or any retail store!…. The lycra makes it VERY unique….so let the games begin…..thanks for all of your help!

Introducing THE FEATHER JERSEY PANT, A233191. Since a few of you were able to order this pant on wait list, before it was removed from the site, and it has been shipped out to you…..I thought it was appropriate for you to see exactly what you are getting. First the FABRIC……this is the exact same fabric as the jersey floral print dress that many of you bought last summer, A222262. In all my years at QVC, very few garments have been reordered within the same season……due to its’ popularity and the huge wait list…this dress was one of them. If you don’t own it please read the reviews…..not so much for the dress….but for the fabric. Even though the fabric is 96% polyester and 4% spandex…..it is a very COOL FABRIC………I know….all the polyester NAYSAYERS……. are saying….”it can’t be so”. Don’t believe me….read the comments………polyester has “come a long way baby”. This fabric is LIGHT AS AIR….hence the name “FEATHER JERSEY” ……………..”We “…..the buyers….. my manufacturer…..and myself……believe in this fabric so much that we have REGISTERED the name “FEATHER JERSEY”. However, the pant and the tunic to follow were produced and shipped before the labels were ready…..we tried to hold up, but it was getting to late to ship….so………all of the new OLO [on line only] FEATHER JERSEY pieces to come…. will have the new label………it will be a FULL WARDROBE  of FEATHER JERSEY pieces……………Now for the pant…….This is a VERY RELAXED DRAPY PANT………this is not a tailored cotton sateen or gaberdine pant……the fabric flows…..it is languid….it falls and drapes into the body like a matte jersey…..like a ……[heaven forbid I should say this] ……. PAJAMA…….I do not want any of you to have any surprises when you open the lovely QVC bag and exclaim…..this is not what I expected….LOL….The leg opening is approx. 10 inches, so it doesn’t qualify as a PALAZZO PANT which is usually double that and more…..and it was not intended to be one……The width of the leg is much more controlled, and in this fabric gives a slimmer effect than the 10 inches would imply…..in any other, more structured fabric, 10 inches would be considered a wide leg…..not so in this jersey….therefore it is very suitable to wear any time….ANYWHERE…..IMHO……  It has an ELASTIC WAIST BAND……however…..above the front pleats….the waist band is flat……..The FLATFLATFLAT pleats do not make your tummies look big, it actually CAMOUFLAGES……………The pleats give  a much better look than if it were perfectly flat without anything to hide the tummy……and I would venture to say 80% of you will wear something over it anyway. What these pleats do, that are concentrated towards the front, is give the desired volume to the leg, keeps the drapes strategically placed, but doesn’t add any width to the hips! This pant has fabulous POCKETS…. that have a slight drape to them….the look I was going for was a ….MODIFIED….. HAREM PANT, without the excess or the COSTUMERY!…… I guarantee, these will be the most COMFORTABLE pants you will ever put on your bodies….on those days when you don’t want any fabric to touch you…..reach for these…………The colors are ………..BERRY……….WALNUT…….OLIVE……The BERRY is a juicy RASPBERRY RED. Above, I have the BERRY paired the  with the new HOT PINK WHISPER KNIT V-neck short sleeve sweater. I LOVE those colors together, and I have accented the two colors with my wine [I think they call them red?] beads. The OLIVE, which is not my typical olive, but more of a moss, is paired with my new WK LIME MOCK NECK SLEEVELESS SWEATER and the LIME WK KIMONO……if that isn’t a tropical look….I don’t know what is! The seed bead necklace is coming. The WALNUT pant I have simply shown with the matching tunic that is your next SNEAK PEEK. It’s a fabulous COLUMN OF COLOR, to be accessorized or not, depending on your whim……..REMEMBER!!! It was this pant in the……. BERRY…….and……OLIVE that I showed with the very popular IKAT PRINT TOPS…..so you can check out that video to see the pant. The WALNUT PANTS works with the Ikats too!!The inseam is approx. 32 inches…….but when Jac had them on she thought they were longer….sometimes a fabric will hang longer that the flat measurement……so….that’s a good thing for my taller ladies….and for my lovely shorter ladies….you know you were going to have to shorten them anyway….LOL……………LADIES……….PLEASE!!!!………do not be afraid to mix your colors….if you only wear your new Whisper Knit sweaters with the usual white, black, khaki and navy…..you will be MISSING OUT ON ALL THE FUN!!!!! This is the season where you can really experiment and show your personalities! The FEATHER JERSEY TUNIC is A233190………..the fabric and colors……………….BERRY…………..WALNUT………….OLIVE…………are the same as the pant. This is a LOOOOOOOOG tunic. It measures 32 inches to the center front. This measurement was taken with the garment hanging on the hanger not flat on the floor. Sometimes hanging measurements can be a little longer than when you measure a garment flat on a table…..we all know about GRAVITY! The sides have longer points, but not extreme. I can hear some sighs now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the question…..why so long? My answer is simple….that is the style I wanted for this particular tunic. If I had made it  4 or 5 inches shorter it would have had a totally different look, and naturally it would have been a totally different style. My intent was for it to cross over as a dress, for some, and a tunic…..all could wear with my leggings as the photo to the far bottom left…..just wear a great Roman sandal or a pair of wedges, to give you a little extra height, and you will look fabulous. It can be worn with a variety of bottoms, Capri pants, slim crops, a pencil skirt and  with the matching FEATHER JERSEY pant. It’s all very light weight, very flowing without having  too much fabric, and very relaxed. It’s the closest you will come to being totally dressed, but FEEL like you are wearing NOTHING. The sleeve length is short, but not too…..neither is it too long…..I wanted to keep it cool. It has a V-neck, so take note when you are ordering…..it is not a crew. There is a definite shape to the upper part of this garment, and then the bottom flows. This is not a MATERNITY TOP. This is right in step with the most CURRENT FASHION. For those who want to change it up………belt it………it looks fabulous that way too…… but………on those days when you don’t want any fabric to touch your body……………this is the answer. I can not express enough how weight less and cool these FEATHER JERSEYS are…….even though they are polyester! I know some will take a pass…… not everything is for everybody…………….but for those of you who give it a try…………..you will want an entire wardrobe in this fabric………………….and it’s COMING!……………….enjoy……………much Love………………Louis
