April Sneak Peek # 7, A233187, is the CRUSHED GEORGETTE SCARF TOP SHIRT. This piece will take you through spring and SUMMER, and for some it will be a year round item. The fabric is 100% polyester georgette. ONLY polyester can hold a pleat permanently, likewise, after many washings, it is the only fabric that can keep the crushed effect that was given as a treatment to this fabric. The surface of the fabric, sporadically, has a slightly CRUSHED EFFECT…..giving the shirt a very CASUAL LOOK. The photo at the bottom right gives you an idea of the texture. It is a some what shear fabric so you will definitely need to wear something under it. It is the perfect travel piece, because it is wash and wear, and you don’t have to worry about wrinkling it when you pack….or when you throw it in your tote on the way to the beach. This is a MULTI PURPOSE TOP……it is easy, loose and flowing, which makes it the perfect beach cover up……wear it open as a shirt jacket, a tank an a pair of leggings and your on your way for a day of fun. For a night of partying…….wear you legging…..throw on a wonderful belt and pile on the accessories. The shirt is approx 30 1/2 inches from HPS, [high point shoulder], to the center front hem, for the XS. It has a scarf bottom so the sides have longer, flowing points. The collar is a classic shirt collar and stand…..and the sleeves are 3/4 length to show off a beautiful watch or lots of bangles. A word about sizing…..I would highly recommend getting your NORMAL SIZE. I know when you see shirts with VOLUME, your immediately reaction is to size down. However, the volume of this shirt is at the bottom to create a graceful, flowing, wind blown look. The top of the shirt has the normal shoulder measurements…..and there is no stretch to this fabric….If you size down you could feel a little constricted across the shoulder, even though you will most likely wear the collar open. This garment should be easy, breezy and relaxed…….just the way you will feel after a few Margaritas!!!…………The colors are ………………..BLACK………………….WHITE………………TURQUOISE……….. I know you are going to want more than one of these…………maybe all three…………..These are shirts you will wear and wear and wear……how easy will it be to wear one of the new Whisper Knit V-neck tanks, A233942, as the lime above……the white denim pencil skirt, A232360, white jeans, or the new white, black or walnut legging, A233186…….great sandals……a large tote………then……..throw on this shirt……. and be on your way…..ready for anything. Well now I have the final word. My manufacturer notified me that the jacket is indeed being delivered to QVC in black, and my buyer confirmed it. She doesn’t know why the wait list orders were canceled, and suggested, to call and put it on wait list again. Sorry for the upset, but There is nothing I can do to prevent these occurrences.
April Sneak Peek #6, comprises of four new jewelry pieces……….J278132, is the GRADUATED OVAL BEAD NECKLACE…..approx.25 inches long with a 3 inch extender. This necklace has graduated oval beads that overlay each other. At both ends is a series of small round matching beads to the lobster claw closing …….J278131, the FLAT ROUND BEAD ENDLESS NECKLACE, is approx. 52 inches long. In between each flat round bead is a matching small round spacer bead. There is no opening on this necklace and can be worn either at it’s full length, or doubled……….The OVAL BEAD DROP EARRING, J278133, pierced only, consists of a larger oval bead and small round beads at the top. It is approx 1 7/8 inches long…………….J278134, is the CRESCENT STRETCH BRACELET, It consists of a series of crescent shaped beads with round spacer beads in between each crescent…………………………………The colors for the two necklaces , and earring are…………….OLIVE…..&…..GOLDEN BROWN……..which I call AMBER, so if you want the AMBER you have to order the Golden Brown. Above are photographs of the olive choices. The actual beads are TRANSLUCENT, not transparent or opaque, which gives them the look of dyed bone. There is also a wonderful mottling effect in the material [resin], which gives each bead its own character.. Of course, I love the necklaces worn together and mixed with other necklaces, but that is my taste. Individually they are all unique and stand alone. The CRESCENT cuff is avail. in the OLIVE …..GOLDEN BROWN [AMBER] and an additional color…………..BEIGE………which is a natural color with wonderful dark markings…………….For those of you who love the look of NATURAL beads, such as Bone, Horn and wood, I know you will love these pieces.
