The third and final sneak peek of A233182, the HYBRID BLAZER, features the …………….WHITE……….. SWEAT SHIRT BLAZER. I literally took it out of the plastic bag and put it on the form…..I recommend a little steaming before wearing…..just to get the packing wrinkles out. I absolutely love the combination of the …….WHITE JACKET…. the AQUA SLEEVELESS MOCK NECK WK…..and….the LIMOGES BLUE…draw string skirt. The blues are wonderful together and look like the waters of the South Seas! In the photo above left, you get a good shot of the patch pocket. Doing the pocket this way eliminates the floating bag on the inside and also prevents see through………..very important with a white jacket……….This is a white jacket and this is an unlined jacket, so there is a hint of see through but that’s the compromise you have to accept with a WHITE UNLINED JACKET. ,It doesn’t bother me at all……..comfort is KEY!!! How does this color compared to the Ivory of the TSV peplum jacket?? This color is definitely whiter, so you can not wear the two together. I know someone will ask that question so I thought I would beat them to the punch! Ladies remember…..this jacket is NOT about a crisp tailored garment…..it’s all about casual, comfortable, relaxed dressing. You have crepes and cotton sateen jackets to satisfy the “crisp” and “tailored”category……………..that’s why I feel this may fill a gap in your wardrobes…………………..enjoy…………much Love……………….Louis

The LEOPARD PRINT JACKET reorder has arrived and is ready for purchasing. The style number is A201016 and the new color is………………..GREY/BLACK………………….Many of you own this jacket in the many colors I have already offered it in. It is a beautiful COTTON SATEEN fabric with spandex for comfort stretch. It is fully lined in a satin. It has 3/4 length sleeves with a fold back cuff. All of the important details are listed on the QVC Linea site. The grey and black, besides being very CHIC and SOPHISTICATED, is truly a year round jacket. In the photos above I have it paired with a vintage Linea white tank bodysuit, the new sleeveless WK MOCK NECK in AQUA and the same sweater in the BLACK……just change the bottom colors from white to black…………..and for the more daring ……you may want to try a fabulous color…..a red pencil skirt or cobalt cropped pant, for example, would all look great. The print is definitely BOLD, but it  becomes much more subtle in this tonal color combination…….GREY/BLACK for spring summer??? ABSOLUTELY……Eileen Fisher recently had a whole mini catalog……..all in grey, black, and white. This is a beautifully constructed and tailored jacket that gives you an instant shape. The print is timeless, and I hope you realize by now……animal prints are going no where!

A201016, the reorder LEOPARD PRINT COTTON SATEEN  jacket photos continue above. We often talk about having your clothes “work” for you….what does that actually mean? For me, it’s the ability to wear clothes from one  year to another, mixing and matching with new things you buy….giving the older pieces an extended and FRESH life. The best example of that is the photo of the SAGE Leopard print jacket. I have layered it with the SAGE crinkle georgette safari shirt, but instead of using the “matching” tank that came with it……to mix it up a bit….I used the new PALE OLIVE FLECKED TANK, A224278, which picks up, though subtly, the black in the print. I love the play of one fabric against the other…..mixing the textures and patterns. It’s a true designer way of putting things together. All of these pieces were from different shows and years, but I have colored them to coordinate with the things you already own………..I believe it was Sharon who asked what will I have to coordinate with the new WK FIESTA colors. I believe my answer was…..mix them with every solid you own, but in this case the BLACK/WHITE Leopard will easily take on ANY of the new WK colors you choose…………..LIME, NECTARINE, AQUA and the HOT PINK ….pictured above, ALL WORK BEAUTIFULLY! It’s a totally different look from the sage jacket…….and both make a strong statement about the woman wearing these two outfits……thiswomanknowshowtodress……….it’s as simple as that!

April Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #6 is A233944, the V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE sweater. It is approx. 25 inches long for the XS. This is the last style in the group of six “ON LINE ONLY” [OLO], Whisper Knit sweaters and it is a beauty in it’s SIMPLICITY. We often talk about TIMELESS, AGELESS, CLASSIC, well this sweater is the  epitome of all those adjectives. Why is this sweater different from any other….if you can find one!…………it’s the fit……… the proportions……….the depth of the “V” the length of the sleeve, the slight shaping of the body….the way the sleeves are shaped and set into the body of the sweater……and of course the YARN…..all those things come into play when you put it on and say……..YES…………….Not all sweaters are equal…………… I went to Italy for 20 years……three to four times a year, creating the sweaters for the Anne Klein Couture line, so I know of what I speak. Believe me when I say……going to the sweater mills and working directly with the knitters and the people in charge of the hand work and those in charge of setting up the machines….every aspect of what it takes to make all kinds of sweaters……. gave me an incredible education. Glamorous….it was not, but the experience and the knowledge I acquired was priceless……………..So……when you put a Linea sweater on…..remember it’s just not a sweater, but a world of knowledge that went into making each garment……………..These sweaters are to be COLLECTED!!!!!………….to be worn year after year, season after season……..with the knowledge that they will always be OF THE MOMENT………………..that you will always look …………CHIC…… SOPHISTICATED……and…….CLASSY……………………………………………………….enjoy…………..much Love…………….Louis
