“SNEAK PEAK #7”

Sneak Peek #7  is A221807. This is a cotton/rayon blend light weight printed sweater….suitable for the spring and summer….actually it’s suitable to wear all year. The colors are NAVY,  OLIVE, and ESPRESSO BROWN. The print was inspired by a butterfly’s wing. Imagine it magnified 1000 times to create this abstract pattern. The olive sweater has shades of pale turquoise, khaki with apricot…. all on an off white background. It also has olive gros grain ribbon down the front on the inside of the placket.. The espresso combination has shades of aquamarine, peach and pink…..again, on an off white background. Aquamarine ribbon is used to trim this coloration. The navy has shades of lilac, cadet blue gray and is high lighted with gold and mustard. Lilac is the color of the gros grain trim. This sweater has long sleeves and is approx. 24 1/2 inches long for an xs. Wear it layered or on it’s own.Wear it loose, belted or just over the shoulders with a tank when the warm weather arrives. I have the olive sweater pictured with the olive mock neck and the olive cotton crop pant. The navy is shown with the new navy tank and the navy peasant skirt from past seasons. The espresso is pictured with the espresso peasant skirt worn as a dress. The new jersey pant in either espresso, navy or olive work with each one. This is a unique, one of a kind print created by me for you. It has a very modern edge to it and really is ageless…………I hope you enjoy…..Love, Louis

“SNEAK PEEK #6”

Sneak Peek # 6 is my new TRIBAL AFRICAN PRINT CARDIGAN, A221816, This cardigan/jacket/draped top is made out of the same poly/span jersey as all of my printed T-shirts as well as the new JERSEY PULL-ON PANT, A221815. This top comes in 4 different colors, ESPRESSO, NAVY, OLIVE and BLACK [not pictured]. Of course, this is an unlined, easy fly away top that slides over everything. You can wear the olive with your: OLIVE tank,  short sleeve mock neck, turtle neck and long sleeve V-neck [pictured above]. For bottoms try your: Olive boho, olive crop cotton pant [pictured above], olive gab trousers, your sage or natural pebble crepe pull-on crop pant from last season or the sage pencil skirt. All of the sand bottoms look great too: last seasons sand pebble crepe long pull-on pant, the two sand pants from this past Dec and Jan. plus the sand long pebble crepe pull-on skirt…..it will also look great over your faux de chine safari dress in olive…..enough options? I think so and that’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure you can come up with a lot more. Under the Espresso, I have the espresso tank with coffee bean pants. The espresso peasant skirt, the sand pieces and all the pebble crepe pieces in coffee bean and natural work beautifully too…..don’t forget the new espresso pull-on jersey pant was made to go with this top…..keeping everything fluid. The navy has that every day chic look….paired with jeans and THE NAVY TANK…..I told you the navy tank was going to be VERY important through out the entire spring summer season, It also looks great with the navy acrylic/wool A09484, pencil skirt for a dressier look. This top looks great just easy and loose or for a sexier more dramatic look, try belting it over a pencil skirt. The black combination has white and pale gray in the back ground and I am showing it with the WK black tank and a black pencil…..great for the office, or dinner out. This is one of those perfect items you take away on a trip….easy to pack….easy to wash, and you can wear it with so many things in so many ways. I know you will enjoy coming up with your own ways to wear it…………Love Louis

“SNEAK PEEK #4”

Sneak Peek # 4 is actually an old friend! It is the A87423, cotton acrylic mock neck, elbow sleeve sweater. Blogs have been posted, letters to TPTB have been written….all to bring back this little, sweet sweater. The returning colors are WHITE,  BLACK and HOT PINK…..the new color is PERFECTLY PINK! This sweater was going to be retired because the factory refused to make it at the same price. I begged and pleaded, on your behalf, to bring it back even at a higher price. The question was asked on the Fashion Forum, “would you pay more for this sweater?” and many of you blogged that it was such a great sweater you would pay more for it. So you may ask how come the price is the same? Let’s just say……it’s a gift from my manufacturer and myself. Why is this a Customer Top Rated sweater? I have been told by you….you love the fit of the body and neck and you love the weight of this sweater. That IS what makes this a special sweater and one you will NOT see anywhere, let alone on QVC. This is known as an “Every Needle Rib” construction and it takes double the amount of yarn to make as apposed to a jersey knit sweater. During my 20 years at Anne Klein I went to Italy 4 to 5 times a year just to work on the sweaters  directly in the mills. Making sweaters is a totally different language and education from regular “cut and sew” garments. Creating sweaters is definitely one of my loves. ENR is becoming a thing of the past due to costs rising and I’m not sure if this sweater will see another day….it’s really up to how successful this one does. I really don’t have to go into the positive aspects of this sweater…..you all have told me. If you haven’t tried one…..this is the time……it’s a little GEM……………….P.S. the crop pant in all the photos is new….it’s cotton sateen and it’s coming in April…..that’s all I’m saying…..except it’s a GEM too!…..Louis

“SNEAK PEEK #3”

Sneak Peak #3…..I have to get these sneak peeks out……..no time to tarry! the shows are a week from tomorrow…Friday, Feb. 3 at 1:00pm and an appearance on the morning show too which starts, I believe at 6am…..that’s also on Feb. 3rd. Shawn will be with me to present this new jacket A221805, and you know she will be all over it! The fabric is my brushed cotton/span twill and the yummy colors are PEONY PINK, TANGERINE, IVORY[ which is whiter than the Pea jacket], and CHINO. The shape is slightly A-Line so it will look great on everyone…apples, pears, peaches and plums!!!! any bananas out there!!!???LOL. It is fully lined in satin. It has a raglan sleeve and a Double Breasted front……do not be afraid of a D-B. I did a black wool blend jacket with gold ball dome buttons very similar to this a few seasons back….DOUBLE BREASTED…..and EVERYONE LOVED it. This is a new version. Of course, this jacket has ALL of the details….straps on the sleeves, back buttoned trench flap and an invert pleat. Naturally, there are front band pockets, when used, will give you lots of attitude. The length for the XS is approx. 26 1/2 inches. This is a fun jacket and please have fun mixing and matching all kinds of colors and patterns. I have featured the A87423, reorder mock neck sweater in the WHITE, BLACK and HOT PINK…….Perfectly Pink is the new color and it’s beautiful…..perfect with the P. Pink boho. This is the sweater you have all been wanting and it was no small feat bringing it back to you…….. a lot of begging and pleading and explaining that you all loved it and wanted it…..even if it was at a higher price. Originally, it was not going to be reordered because the price went up…..which it did! However, it is still at the same original price……trust me when I say this is a gift. If you want it get it while it remains at this price. This is truly a designer quality sweater! It is made in a cotton acrylic blend and it is an EVERY NEEDLE RIB construction. I am the only designer on QVC to use this construction because it uses double the yarn, and we all know the story….the price of cotton has gone  WAY up. Under the Peony Pink jacket is another sneak peak that is coming in the future. It’s a stripe sweater made in the same yarn as the A00025 sweater with the stripes on the shoulder and  down the sleeves. This one has black and dark gray stripes on the torso and black, light beige and two pinks on the upper part of the sweater….it has a 3/4 sleeve…….but as I said….that’s to come later in the season. You can wear this jacket as casual or as dressed up as you want….it has a lot of versatility. Wear it as an indoor jacket or as an outerwear jacket…..it all depends on where you live and what the weather is. This is the same weight fabric as the blazer with the zippers above so it really can be worn as a blazer type jacket. Wear it casually or to the office, [very sharp with the mock and a pencil skirt]. I think you will have fun wearing it, and this is a piece that can easily fit into your spring wardrobes…………………………….much Love, Louis
