Louis, I loved your feather jersey spring 2015 collection. It travels so well and living in FL I can wear feather weight all year. It sold so fast online that it never got airtime and there’s not much QVC inventory lefr. So many styles, colors and sizes sold out. Will there be a reorder in feather jersey? I want more! – Nan

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nan, unfortunately Feather Jersey was not a success, and I will not be doing anything in that fabric again.

  2. Chris/Jazzmom

    Good afternoon Louis,

The super Ponte pants in the new color Dark Umber, how close is it to cinnamon or tobacco?
I have a few print tops from Mr. Mackie that work with your cinnamon moss crepe pants and wonder if the dark umber is close in color to those cinnamon pants. Ladies, anyone that owns the cinnamon pants, look at A268231 in the aqua color, there is cinnamon in among that aqua striping for those who desire prints on top.

Have a great weekend and regards to Jac, who I hope is feeling better.

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Chris….the Dk. Umber is nothing like the Cinnamon Moss Crepe which has more red in it while the umber is more of a deep golden color.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

        Thank you.

Hi Louis, just wondering if your Linea Leisure JacketA262035 will be restocked? Wanted to try, but need to size up to a 2X in this jacket based on measurements.

Appreciate e any information. If not coming back, will take it off of my wishlist.

    Thanks

  4. JBCinSD

Louis, in your blog about the white wing collar shirt you give an incorrect item number for the faux suede jacket. The correct item number for that jacket is A279526. They look great together.

  5. Mimi

Hi Louis. I hope Jac is feeling even a little bit better every day. Please tell her she has been in my thoughts. I bought the WK V Neck Cardi in black and raspberry (usual size xs). Couldn’t get the taupe. The problem was they were too big so I had to return them. A note, the black cardi was sewn on one side of the seam with white thread! I didn’t want another black so I asked for exchange for the raspberry(xxs). No raspberry. I did stalk the taupe and raspberry and got the taupe. Will there be another shipment of the raspberry color? I also bought the Black and the Ivory ENR button down Cardi but the black one came in with dried food on it. So back it went for an exchange. Maybe if QVC’ qualty control was better, there would be less returns. That would be better for all of us. They are not what they use to be. Hope the girls are fine. Looking forward to your upcoming show. Stay well.

  6. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Good morning Louis. We have finally survived a horrendous move and closed on our house a month and a half late – so I haven’t been checking the blog. Please forgive me if I am asking a question you have already answered or about which there may have been past discussion. I’ve just starting to recover much of my year which disappeared in a lot of problems. But can you please tell me if A268137 – the turtleneck swing whisper knit top – is on track for any reordering? I THOUGHT you had mentioned it as a coming reorder way back around January/Feb but I have not seen it and figured that fell by the wayside. Can you tell me the fate of that wonderful sweater?

    1. Claudia

I’m not Louis but as I recall it’s coming back later this fall. I think Scarlett red, Hunter green, purple, navy, expresso Brown, charcoal grey were some of the colors mentioned.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy it is coming back later in the season…you haven’t missed it. I don’t remember if it’s Oct or Nov, but the Q is releasing reorders early these days.

  7. Pepper

    Hello Louis,
I just received your swing sweater in dark chocolate and love it. You mentioned pants and leggings coming in. Will they be the matching dark chocolate and are the pants slim or full leg? Whoops, also do you know when they will be available? Also are there any coordinating new nutmeg colored bottoms
    coming in?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pepper…..If I said the bottoms were coming in dark chocolate, I misspoke. There will be a fleece lined legging with a front pin tuck coming in ESPRESSO BROWN which is darker then the chocolate, but they work well together. There will also be a new Super Ponte pant in the Espresso coming in Dec. along with a new WK jewel neck ENR classic pullover. The leg is straighter then the boot cut but not skinny…..more of a classic leg. It really is a pant for everyone. There are no nutmeg bottoms. I show it with navy, charcoal grey, espresso and black

  8. Seka

    Louis,
Ponchos are everywhere – am Happy that you will be presenting a Whisper Knit Linea Poncho.

Am excited to see your Sneak Peek, please.

    1. julie

I can’t wait for the poncho too! And what are the colors??????

      1. Seka

julie – Red is one of the colours – but I do not know the others!

        1. julie

Seka I wonder if it’s the scarlet to match the turtleneck?!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

If you are referring to the poncho….all scarlet items will match

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry Seka, but I don’t have the samples yet they are for Oct. Nov

      1. Seka

Thank you for letting us know! Always love your Sneak Peeks – especially your Fall/Winter Collection!

    3. Goldie76

Eagerly looking forward to that poncho, too, Seka! I hope it is cut in a way that I can carry it off successfully. THRILLED to have it in scarlet red.

      1. Goldie76

Oops, right church but wrong pew.

  9. Tylerpoo

Louis, is the navy WK skirt A253411 coming back? We know the Red is coming and what other colors? Wish the Latte was coming!
    Thanks

    1. Kate

I’m going to start right now begging for the return of the ivory WK skirt from this past spring. I need a back-up and my size is long gone!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….for some reason???? the returns were high so I doubt that skirt will be reordered….I keep trying to give skirts, but they never stick…..except for the ENR WK, but I can’t do that in ivory.

        1. Kate

I guess I’ll never understand how a garment that is now either sold out or waitlist in each color and every size, can be considered a failure.

Oh well, I do thank you for trying. Looking forward to the new red skirt!

          1. Joanne

I agree Kate. Even though I have enjoyed some success in stalking, I have learned to buy Louis’s clothes prior to presentation so I get my choices in my size. Stalking takes time. We are so privileged that Louis gives us sneak peeks so we can ask questions and buy prior to presentation. Thank you Louis!

          2. Louis Dell'Olio

If there is a large wait list, plus a large return% which the wait list eats up….they go buy the return % which means it costs more money for handling and reshipping……so….it may look good that it is all sold out, but what you don’t see is how many were returned. What surprises me is the fact that the ones on wait list don’t return % wise as much as the original purchases???

            1. Teri

The wait list do not suffer from returns because the buyers have figured out their size. Many wait list orders are second orders to correct wrong size or to order a second item. Also wait list ladies have benefitted from feedback on size from forums and reviews.

            2. JBCinSD

Judging Linea sales by % returns is not really an accurate picture. I usually buy two sizes of all the Linea I order because I know the item will be sold out by the time I’ve received it and tried it on. It’s precisely because your clothing is so popular that I return a lot (and keep even more than that). I don’t do that with any other brand.

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear JBC, they only go by the % of returns not knowing the reason for returns. The more returns the more cost in handling the less profit. It’s really that simple. It’s always about the bottom line and profit. So, when something is reordered you know the returns were low and the profit on these items met their expectation.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tylerpoo, they aren’t bring it back in a big way??? Only three colors……repeating black, and the new Scarlet Red, and the new Heather Charcoal Grey. The navy was around for quite a while.

  10. Evelyn

I purchased the whisper knit Olive/curry do u have pants to go with it?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Evelyn, only the 265615, slim pant, but very limited sizes…..however, the Linea body legging is avail in Olive, and with a pair of boots or shoe boots it’s a terrific look. All other pants in Olive have sold out.

  11. Chris S.

    Hello,
I received the single bar necklace in the new rose gold color. I love it with the blackberry swing tunic. Will there be additional pieces (bracelet and earrings) coming in the rose gold?

    Thank you and stay safe!

  12. Jackie

    Louis,
I like to match my WK tops with the outer wear coats. I bought the red WK turtleneck in anticipation of buying the new scarlet coat. What colors are you offering in the new coat? I would like to buy tops while they are for sale in my size. And, will you be offering matching sleeveless shells or mock turtles like you did for the jewel tone bouclee coats a few seasons ago? I love them all!

  13. Shari

    Louis
Praying that the hurricane/tropical storm does not affect you and Jac.
    Praying for your safety.

  14. Ruth

Hi Louis, I’m thinking of buying your gorgeous motto jacket. I’m wondering if you can tell me what size Jac wears in the motto jacket. I find I do well ordering whatever size she has worn in a particular item. I hope she is doing well. Best regards, Ruth

    1. Ruth

Auto correct strikes again – “Moto”!

  15. Carol

Hi Louis, Is there any chance that you will be bringing back A257338 – Regular Ponte Knit Leggings? These are my fav pants ever that you have done. Also love the long button front jacket to match.

I read in one of your recent blog posts that you have a Choc Brown Super Ponte Knit pant coming for Fall. I hope these are the same fabric as the above mentioned leggings and NOT boot cut.

  16. Tylerpoo

Louis, your Oct. schedule looks like you have a TSV except you are not listed for midnight. So glad to see you on so many times in one day! I will adjust my schedule to be home all day!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry Tylerpoo….no TSV, and I don’t see any in the future. They are reserved for a few.

  17. luvitorleaveit

Louis as my orders trinkle in from your last visit I received the beautiful scarlet red quilted jacket. I already posted my review on the black and stalked the albaster and brought that one too so I can’t post another review. I expect the rest of the red lovers to gobble this beauty up.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Luvitorleaveit….you can always lets the ladies on the Linea QVC website know how much you like it.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Already done! I must say as soon as the temperatures cool down and I can wear all my new fall/winter goodies I will be late for work trying to decide what to wear first I definitely will need to plan ahead. LOL. Looking forward to more of the scarlet red and the swing sweater is just stunning and irresistible.

  18. Ceicei

Just received the new cardigan with zipper detail. I usally get medium in whisper knits but based on my hip measurements and style, I got the large. Perfect. If I had gotten the medium, it would have pulled across the hip and and ruined the look from the front. Also, I was surprised that the zippered front accentuated my waist. Having not seen a sneak peak, I went with my instincts and as usually with your designs, it did not disappoint.

  19. Seka

    Louis,
This past Sunday I attended a late afternoon/early evening 90th Birthday Celebration for a Family Member. Wore my Moss Crepe Gaucho Pants with matching Tunic Top – my White Barrel Bead Necklace (doubled) – and my Black Lacquer Trapeze Cuff! Have said this before – the Moss Crepe is divine! Love how it flows. Kept me cool when outside – and warm when in air conditioning! And wrinkle free. Hope you will continue to use this fabric.

And that Barrel Bead Necklace – so Beautiful – and the Quality is Superb! If it were sold at Saks it would cost $300.

Thank you for making dressing up so stress free.

    1. Joanne

I agree Seka the moss crepe outfits are just divine. I own all three colors sage, navy blue and cinnamon of the long pants and short sleeve outfits, lt. khaki and black of the moss crepe tunic tops as well as the black v neck peplum top and matching skirt. They are all wonderful, flattering and so packable for traveling. They simply do not wrinkle and all are so versatile for dressing up or down. Best part I look like a sylph in all of my moss crepe outfits. I cannot believe that this fabric has not been a success.

    2. JBCinSD

One more vote for moss crepe. Think I have every piece offered with many multiples of the pants, both long and gaucho. Crazy not to bring back these pieces, QVC buyers.

  20. Andrea

Do you know if the barrel bead necklace and earrings that came in brown, white, and black will be reordered in black. I have the white and it’s stunning.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea….there is no plan to reorder any of the jewelry…..I think the philosophy is “one and done”. The reorders don’t sell as well as the initial sell, so it’s just better to sell them out and bring in new. With the quantities they order they really are collectors pieces!!

  21. Lynn

I saw that the georgette safari blouse has 4 new colors. Any idea when they may be available? Also I have an idea as to alabaster and dark chocolate but can you give an idea as to fire cracker (love the name!) and sea blue?

    1. Goldie76

Lynn, I waitlisted for Fire Cracker. Do you think it is red-based or what? Louis, what color(s) is Fire Cracker? Pleeeze…

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie they are really jumping the gun…..the Firecracker isn’t due until May? The red I gave them is the new Kate shirt red, but of course from cotton to poly there will always be a slight difference.

        1. Goldie76

I am hoping the “Kate” shirt red (a showstopper, that’s for sure!) translates well into the safari blouse’s “Fire Cracker” shade. I own that shirt in the red; in fact, I wore it yesterday. Remember, I am always cold, so I was fine with rolling the sleeves up. Missed out on the chili pepper.

    2. JBCinSD

Which blouse is that? The only blouse that comes up on a search of “Linea georgette” is the crinkle shirt and shell (A214117). That one? I think I have it in every color offered so far.

      1. Goldie76

Yes, JBC, that is the blouse. It appears that the new colors have been removed. (I guess QVC was interested in which new color would be most popular.)

  22. Romy

Hello Louis, I was wondering about the nutmeg color in the swing sweater; is it close to a camel color? Thank you!

    1. Seka

      Romy,
There is a Whisper Knit Long Skirt A257384 on Q that is available in Nutmeg – if you would like to see the colour.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Romy it is a pale terracotta….it really looks nothing like the previous nutmeg that Seka was referring to, and I hope I haven’t confused too many women by giving it the same name. It has more pink then a camel which has more yellow. I think it’s a very soft flattering color. It is pretty true to color on Kate.

  23. Chris

Louis, on your last presentation on QVC the models were wearing what you called the Trapeze necklace available in September. Do you know what date this will be available for purchase?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris, if I said Sept I misspoke….the Trapeze is for mid Oct, but I’ll check.

  24. Karlakaye

Louis, do you happen to recall what size navy trench coat Jac was wearing in the video from last year? By the way, I certainly hope she is feeling better–missed her on the recent shows. I am trying to narrow my choice down to two sizes—-the X back measurements seem small in comparison to the larger bust measurements. Call me confused!!! HAHAHA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It was a 6, and it fit her perfectly….she wouldn’t take it smaller, but for a “bigger look”, she could wear an eight because she has broad shoulders and can carry clothes…when you are wearing clothes that are bigger than what you would normally wear it’s about attitude and the confidence you have wearing clothes….but 6 is her size.

      1. Karlakaye

Thanks so much Louis for the REALLY fast reply. That was very helpful–and so true about attitude and confidence. I am choosing between 8 and 10 and think I might go with the 10. Again, THANKS A MILLION–you are THE BEST!!!

  25. Anonymous

Louis, your rose gold Y bar necklace is now available. What color tops do you recommend I wear with it? I wear the gold tone Y bar with so many of my Linea tops!

    1. Maia

Oops! The previous message about the Y bar is from me!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Maia….I have not received my sample yet so I have not played with it yet, but I would just play with it…..there is no wrong way to wear it….

        1. Maia

I’ll do that when I receive it, Louis! Thank you.

  26. Carol

Louis, I just received and tried on all of my goodies from your August show, and I’m so happy with everything that I received. The stand outs for me are the red quilted wk jacket, the oatmeal lace up hoodie and the chocolate, blackberry swing tunic. I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead in wk this fall/winter. Thanks for giving us such wearable fashion at affordable prices.

Raspberry and eggplant: I can’t stop buying, so although I do agree Louis that the raspberry WK cardi and the eggplant faux suede jacket will not be worn together by me, now that I have both, what are you and your ladies suggesting we wear with them for tops please? I think many colors will go with both from navy to gray to black, but are there special top pieces in either raspberry or eggplant that I should be on the look out for please?
Love my olive trench and olive faux suede which arrived earlier. I’m blonde with green eyes if that is useful in suggesting colors. Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

By the C, I’m not quite sure what you are asking?…..for the love trench and faux suede just have fun with so many colors! If you like neutrals anything from Ivory to sand, camel, oatmeal, navy, sage, pale to med. gray…even charcoal. All pastels look good from my pale lilac WK TN to pink, aqua, celadon, pale yellow.to jewel tones and brights. Scarlet, burnt orange, fuchsia, purples, turquoise, royal blue, lapis etc. all look great with olive…it’s time to play with what you own.

      1. By the C

I’m playing, you’re the best. How is Jac? XO

  28. Ruth

    Hi Louis,
Do you think that your Rhode Island jewelry company would be willing and/or able to shorten my Y Bar Necklace just a bit?

    1. Goldie76

Ruth, apologies for intruding, but you know what I did with my Y-Bar necklaces to shorten them? I turned the bar over on the chain so that the necklace became shorter, plus there was an added interest around the square above the bar. It is slightly off center at times, but I prefer this shorter length. Cannot remember my directions exactly since I did this many months ago.

      1. Ruth

Hi Goldie, You are so sweet to take the time to help me. I’ve tried to implement your idea but I think I’m not doing it right because it doesn’t get shorter. I’ll keep trying. Thanks so much. Have a great day!

        1. Goldie76

Ruth, I had my gunmetal Y-Bar yet to do and found that the directions I gave you were inaccurate. What I did before — and did this time — was this: Hold both sides of the chain together as though they were two strands of thread; treat the bar like a needle; make a loop with the strands that are together (above the square), as though you are going to thread the needle; and then put the bar through the loop. It actually makes an interesting bit of detail around the square above the hoop. The square becomes caged in the chain. Hope it works for you. You can do this multiple times, as I recall.

          1. Goldie76

Upon lifting my single-hooped gunmetal, I found that it fell apart. Darn! I believe this loopy business must be done several times to secure it. Wish I could remember exactly what I did before.

            1. Ruth

              Well, thanks for trying!

  29. Joanne

    Louis
I just looked at your schedule WOW! Two hour show end of September and two weeks later three hours on October 17. Your Linea ladies, including me, will be wild with anticipation and jumping credit cards. How fun!

  30. Debby

Wow1 on wait list for moss crepe skirt please bring it back!

    1. Debby

I am a small in the wk pencil skirts ( all of the different styles, because there is a lot of stretch) what size in a262454 moss crepe

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

sorry Debby it has not been reordered……I’m sure those who own it can give you a better idea of sizing.

  31. Goldie76

Louis, in case you or some of the Linea Lovers are interested, today “The Washington Post” ran a very nice appreciation of designer Sonia Rykiel, who passed away yesterday at the age of 86. After reading the piece, I could not help but think that hers were among the first steps to the Leisure Look that we have today. Then again, it seems all fashion has evolved from being frilly and fussy; it was an inevitable turn. I remember your striped dressy tunic with sequins from several season ago that was a nod to Rykiel’s striped tops.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2016/08/25/how-sonia-rykiel-told-the-story-of-a-new-generation-of-women-with-just-a-simple-little-sweater/

  32. nikki

Louis, I would love to see a shirt dress with long sleeves as the weather cools down. Is there one planned for this upcoming fall season? one can hope

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No nikki…..i have done them in the past and the buyers keep passing them, so since dresses are HIGH return items I don’t even try anymore.

      1. Enjay

So sorry to hear this. I own a terrific shirt dress of your’s in olive and in khaki. Summer weight, buttons all the way down. Fabulous for work in hot NYC summers, with pumps or sandals. I think we called it the Sophia, because you could unbutton as many buttons as you chose – top and bottom – for a sultry look ala Sophia Loren. Classic Linea and still going strong this summer. I’d scoop up another shirt dress in a heartbeat.

Seriously, who at the Q is making these decisions!?

        1. Melissa

Sorry to intrude, but boy do I like the sounds of that dress. So my style. I don’t wear dresses much, but I’d wear one like that!

  33. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I know this is early for next summer, but if possible – Could you bring back your A262453 Moss Crepe V neck top w/peplum as well as A262454 Moss Crepe A line knit skirt. Will you please repeat black as well as new colors. There has to be a million people on waitlist for the black skirt alone. It is a great outfit for casual as well as dressy occasions. You can make it look different with different jewelry etc. It goes without saying how great the outfit is for traveling.

In fact the moss crepe is sensational. It never wrinkles.

    Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

Sorry Joanne, but those pieces are not getting reordered, as a matter of fact none of the moss crepe pieces will be reordered. I can only guess most are not as enthusiastic about the fabric as you as the returns on the most recent pieces were high.

      1. Joanne

        Hi Louis
I am sorry about the moss crepe pieces. QVC customers are missing out on some wonderful pieces, stylishly cut and draped. These pieces were a revelation for me this past summer.

        1. Joanne

Louis, The moss crepe fabric is sensational especially with your design skills. I do hope you will use the fabric in new designs. Thank you

          1. Seka

I am a big fan of the Moss Crepe! Have the Gaucho Pants (2 pairs) – the Tunics (all 3 colours) – the Wide Leg Pants – and a Sleeveless Top! The Fabric is divine!

Would love a Maxi Dress in the Moss Crepe! Really missed getting a new Linea Maxi Dress this year!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have sketched one and it got a nod, but that doesn’t mean it will happen in the end! What colors would you like……just in case.

            2. Seka

Oh My Goodness! So exciting that at least it got a ‘nod’ – so there’s hope!
For colours – Black would be wonderful! My favourites colours (after Black) – are Fall shades – Love all the colours in A233188 the Olive option (am wearing it today). But if it gets to colour choice – I’m sure the Linea Ladies that love the Moss Crepe would have suggestions as well.

But – for me – Black is a must!

Thank you for the good news – and thank you for asking about colour options.

P.S. I wear your Maxi Dresses ALL THE TIME!

            3. Yvette

Louis, I have all of your maxi dresses, too,s in most all of the colors, but black is really not my best look. It just washes me out. So I’d like to request a bright, clear color as well if that maxi dress gets the final ok. My fingers are crossed that will happen!

            4. Pecan Cookie

I’m with Seka. Black would offer many styling options in all seasons. Blackberry seems to be super popular this year. Indigo, silver or a dark royal is also nice. Hoping it will turn into a wink and a nod and a buy.

            5. Pecan Cookie

And a bright clear color too for Yvette!

            6. Seka

Louis, Would it be possible please to get a ‘Peek’ at your Beautiful Sketch (I know it’s Gorgeous) that got a ‘nod’?

            7. Grace

Me too! Would love a maxi dress!

      2. Melissa

How disappointing. I love the moss crepe. Wearing the black peplum one today with my gunmetal lariat, jeans and black Marc Fisher sandals. I got the sage top this summer, may have to get the other colors. Such an easy-care fabric. Wash, hang to dry, and no wrinkles!

      3. Ruth

Hi Louis, I’d just like you to know that I ordered your A273862 3/4 Sleeve Moss Crepe Tops and I adore them. I did learn that they can snag so I am a little more careful with them than I might be with something else. But the fit and the drape is so marvelous that it’s worth a little extra care.

  34. Enjay

    Hi Louis,
I’m trying to decide which color of the gorgeous trench coat to order. Quick question – is the olive green a reorder or is it what’s left in inventory?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Enjay the olive is a reorder and all inventory is new.

    2. By the C

Just got the olive home and it’s obvious to me that no one else had tried it on. Just stunning as you know.

  35. Nedra

    Dear Louis:

I have your zip front hooded dress (A267869) in all 3 colors, and wore them at least twice a week last winter/spring. Will you bring this wonderful garment back and in new colors? Many thanks, Nedra

PS–I also have the ponte knit blazer with hood (A237551) in multiples. Is there a pattern here? 🙂

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Nedra, sorry but the dress hasn’t been reordered.

  36. Karen

Louis I would like to request a whisper knit short sleeve tunic length top. Thank you for all your beautiful designs.

  37. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. I wanted to tell you that I received my Scarlet Quilted Jacket and it is simply KILLER! I am a red girl, so I am over the moon. I have it in Black already and last October I wore it every day in Venice and Nice—and when it was sunny and warm, simply rolled it up and put it in my cross body bag—not even a tote bag!

Are there any Winter White pieces coming? I love pairing Scarlet with Winter White—like the color of the new WK T-neck.

    Thanks, Sheila/Sheesh

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes, but as of now all I can remember is a coat in the same fabric as the trench….later in the season.

  38. Terri H.

    Hi Louis!
I hate to ask, but could you give me the name/address of your jewelry manufacturer repair shop? My new silver palm leaf necklace is gorgeous and I absolutely love it, but one of the palm leaves just won’t lay flat, no matter what I do, and I am hoping they can fix it. I certainly don’t want to break it or jiggle it. I hesitate to return it for exchange because that is such a huge hassle. I
I know we are supposed to enclose a check as well and I can’t remember the specifics. Many thanks! I did save the address and specifics but don’t know if they are still current.

Your last shows were great! Ready for some cooler weather down here in Texas but still a few months to go, unfortunately!

    Terri

    1. louis dell'olio

      Dear Terri….the address hasn’t changed:
      Repairs Department
      c/o TCJC LLC
      3B Industrial Drive
      Smithfield, R.I. 02917
enclose a check for $7.50 made to TCJC LLC

tell them you are a QVC customer, what is wrong with the piece and your return address in a brief letter.

  39. By the C

Hi all. I am mesmerized by all the drop dead gorgeous Linea arriving finally on my doorstep. I ordered enough that they sent it in boxes so I did not have to have bags crammed in my mailbox as some of you have written. They did send an alabaster WK swing cardigan, ordered the taupe, but will just have both as luckily my size is still available in taupe.
I am dipping my toe in the raspberry waters with the cardigan in that color, not sure if the tank is still around.
Does anyone know if the raspberry goes with the new faux suede jacket in eggplant? I am over the moon about all of Linea, esp. the fall items, but that jacket, which I think is like velvet, is beyond amazing. I got it in olive and am going back for more.
Some Linea items on clearance today, just FYI.
    Thanks all!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear By the C….the raspberry really doesn’t work with the eggplant in a conventional way. What I mean by that is…..today they put anything together whether we may think they go or not.

  40. Goldie76

Oh my, Louis, I’m transported by yet another garment. Your turtleneck in scarlet red is absolutely dazzling. (It arrived about an hour ago.) For my coloring, this is the best red you have ever concocted. It causes me to enter a state of euphoria. I know one could say that I become exceedingly excited by your garments and jewelry, but are they not another way of expressing art and beauty? I love good art and authentic beauty.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie, I love your enthusiasm! I love that you get excited about the colors and the clothes…..after all that’s what it’s all about!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie….I love your enthusiasm! I am very happy the clothes and colors excite you! That’s what dressing should be about.

  41. Chris S.

I just noticed that the beautiful wing collar blouse (A259103) is available in the reorder colors and the new black. It is on 2 Easy Pays.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

WOW! They are releasing everything! I won’t have any surprises for Sept.

  42. Kate

    British tan trench. WOW.

So going to sell out in that color.

I hope anyone who wants it orders EARLY.

I can’t review this color as I left a review last year for other colors, but did detail it on the QVC forums.

  43. Melissa

    Louis,

Sorry for another question regarding that new sweater with zipper detail. I know you haven’t even really talked about it yet, but I can tell I want it, even from the Q’s crummy pics. Can you describe the fuchsia color? Pinks are tricky on me. Is it very blue based? Bright? I’m fair/warm and pinks that are too blue or bright aren’t the best on me. Thanks!

  44. Grace

    Dear Louis,

I splurged on expedited shipping and got the first of my Linea “haul” today–the faux suede jacket in olive! I love the style, fit and fabric. Of course, after I saw Jac modeling it, I knew it would be a keeper for me. The fabric is so luxe and reminds me of velvet/velveteen…I sized up (as I did in the “eyelet anorak) and glad I did. I prefer a looser fit. I can see how this jacket can lean sporty or more elegant, depending on whether it’s cinched or not. So happy with this jacket!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace….you’re my first review so I’m very happy to hear you are pleased!. Please don’t forget to leave your review on the Linea QVC site, and I know the ladies will want to know your feeling on the jacket…..wear it in good health!

      1. Grace

Thank you, Louis! I posted my review both in the Linea Forum and in the product review section. My pleasure to spread the good word.

  45. MadameDuFiffers

I think my question got lost in the whirlwind of excitement; I can’t even find it! What’s the difference between the dark choc and coffee bean? Thanks.
    Madame

      1. MadameDuFiffers

Thank you…I really appreciate it since I know you must be running!
        Madame

  46. Chris S.

    Dear Louis,
The first of my lovelies just arrived. The white ribbed sweater and scarlet swing cardigan with matching t-necks are perfection. The Royal Blue swing sweater is simply stunning with the blue Egyptian necklace from last spring. As you have said many times, that’s the way to build a wardrobe!
As I mentioned recently, I was one of the lucky ones to get the black torsade when a few popped back in stock. The same thing happened last week with the multi-colored seed bead necklace from a few years ago. One popped back in stock and it is on the way to me. I can’t wait to see it in person. Stalking does pay off.
Anxiously awaiting the rest of my goodies!
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris…the seed bead necklace is going to look fabulous on the royal blue….that’s for sure.

  47. Beryl

    Dear Louis,
I missed Jac and wish her good health. Having health issues myself I understand how frustrating it can be , But I’m always positive and I’m sure she is as well.
it was a marathon day for you but i hope successful I know my CC is hurting. Beautiful show as always.
    Stay Well,
    Beryl

  48. Shari

    Louis
    WONDERS OF WONDERS!!!
I ordered two of the ribbed sweaters and two of the color block long sleeve on Monday morning and today is Tuesday 5pm and I already have them !!!!
Love them all! Will post on Q this evening! 5 stars all around for everything. Fit, fabric, colors—all great!!
My casts on my legs are very heavy, but your designs have lightened up my day! Thank you Louis !

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Shari…..any designs drawn on your casts or are you keeping the pure……maybe some faux tatoos!

      1. Shari

What a great idea!! Being an artist, maybe I should draw fashion designs on my casts!! Rapidograph pens would do the job and not run if gotten rained on.
        Fun idea!

  49. Goldie76

Linea Lovers, the “Faux Suede Anorak” (A279526) is NOT just another Linea jacket by Louis Dell’Olio. I know. I understand. You have already spent a mint on your goodies from the latest show and you just do not want to hear of something else you should buy. Besides, you already have two closets stuffed with Linea jackets alone. But please do yourselves a favor. Don’t ignore this wondrously soft and exquisitely crafted piece. To me, it hits as high on the Linea-Unbelievably-Gorgeous-and-Stylish meter as last year’s trench coat. It’s a BMW, a Mercedes, a Lamborghini among jackets. It really is.

Louis, where did you find this fabric? On Venus? Never have a felt something at once so soft and rich to look at. The styling is impeccable, of course, and worked on down to the finest detail. What a beauty this jacket is. I chose eggplant, which is the color I typically see in clothing marked “eggplant,” and the olive works well with my coloring as well as my olive clothing. I’m delirious over this jacket. Thank you, Louis!

I hope Jac is doing better.

    1. Grace

Goldie, I always look forward to your reviews! And, I agree with every word you’ve said about this faux suede jacket:) I received mine today in olive and love it. I can just imagine how gorgeous it is in the eggplant. It’s a stunner. Enjoy!

      1. Goldie76

Thank you, Grace. I enjoy your reviews as well and value their content. Of course, because of our different body types, I cannot wear many items you carry off so splendidly. Don’t know if I made it clear above, but I bought the olive as well. Beautiful. The eggplant is very subtly rich. For certain, the fabric of this jacket is obviously, not subtly, rich. It is one of those “beyond the beyond” things in life.

      2. Goldie76

The perfect descriptive word for this suede just now popped into my head: luscious.

        1. Grace

Thank you, Goldie, for your kind words–you brought me joy on a tough day. And, I agree…you have indeed found the perfect word to describe the jacket… it IS luscious. I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in eggplant (maybe I’ll need to order that one, as well, and find out for myself!). I have no doubt you are rocking both colors and will wear them with a joie de vivre:)

  50. Jane J.

Hi Louis, Just received some of my “haul.” The new black trench coat is, of course, great. It joins my navy and olive. I also received the faux suede jacket in olive and eggplant. You may remember that I asked for some sizing advice on the faux suede. I did size up and I’m glad I did because this will allow me to wear a sweater underneath. Without a sweater, I can adjust the fit with drawstrings. This jacket has some “weight” and with a sweater it will be good for cold weather. I noticed that the presentations all showed this jacket fitting very close to the body — in fact, I think you said Deanna had just a tank under the olive. I think it would be helpful for the Linea ladies to see this jacket with a sweater — like the new ribbed sweater — to get a better idea of how it would fit with heavier tops underneath as we get into the colder weather. Just a respectful suggestion…

My post from yesterday is waaay down at the bottom, so I think you may have missed it. Here’s goes again:

The Q has posted a new WK sweater — Whisper Knit Cardigan with Zipper Detail A280938 in black and fuchsia. The fabric content is listed as 82% rayon/18% nylon. The regular Whisper Knit fabric content is 69% rayon/31% nylon, so I’m wondering how this differs in weight. Is this sweater done in ENR? Are the front panels ottoman stitch? Sorry for so many questions!

Thanks for the great shows and great clothes.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jane….I haven’t answered you because I don’t have an answer yet. I know the original weight WK and the medium weigh have a different fiber content due to the size difference in the yarns. As soon as I know I’ll give you all the info.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane J….I’ve been told it’s the same type yarn different blend…..meaning the rayon yarn and the nylon yarn is the same quality….it just a different %. Not sure why they did that as the rayon is usually more expensive. They all feel the same to me? If you hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t have know.

        1. Jane J.

Thanks for the info and for checking into this, Louis. Since it’s a cardigan, I’m hoping it’s a heavier weight than a jersey. I did order the sweater in the fuchsia color (I love the fuchsias, hot pinks, and magentas) and it has shipped, so I should receive it tomorrow. I’ll report back to you after I receive it.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane…..this is not a heavy cardigan…..It is a jersey, and the ribs are not ottoman ribs. They would have been too heavy and stiff for this style. I hope you like it, but if you were hoping for something substantial….you may not.

  51. Mimi Graham

Enjoyed all of your presentations but missed Jac’s elegance, flair and of course beauty. I hope she is feeling a little bit better each day. Take it very slow. I’m sure the girls make her feel a bit better. My dogs always have. I bought 4 more turtlenecks, another trench, necklace and 2 hoodies. So, I did or YOU did a good job! Stay well. I know it’s not easy but take great care of yourself and Jac. You both deserve only good things.

  52. Carol

Congratulations on your shows yesterday. Excellent as always, although notably missing Jac, who is your very best salesperson! Looking forward to getting all my goodies. I need ZERO new clothes, but i cannot resist all your lovely new designs and gorgeous colors of old favorites.
Are you doing any sweaters in the boucle knit this year? It’s so nice for us warm weather Linea Ladies.

    crdlb

      1. Karen in WA

Louis, check out A239320 Boucle sweater and A238159 topper. Kind of a loopy knit. I still wear that sweater.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I loved that sweater and the others I did in that yarn, but unfortunately we were in the minority, and I won’t be using it again. I think the cardigan and scarf, which is fabulous, are still avail!

  53. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
Will there be any more faux suede items like pants or skirts?

    1. Kate

I was thinking yesterday when we saw the new English rib sweater how much I would love to wear that over a faux suede slim skirt with tights and booties. I miss all the slim skirts you used to bring us, but I guess I’m in the minority!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….if they were more successful I would do more of them. There is a great slim skirt in the super ponte planned for next spring in Black, White and Navy…..if they buy it. I’ll do a sketch of a slim skirt in faux sued and see what happens, but it may not get past the sketch point.

        1. Pecan Cookie

Well I sure can use them all since along with the right accessories it elevates the leisure tops just a bit for the conservative office where I work. Wow! Hope one of these comes true. They still look great but the drawstring ponte skirts I have from a couple of years ago won’t last forever. Replacements in any slim style please!

        2. Grace

Louis, I keep dreaming we’ll see another maxi skirt–the one you styled in the show with the new ribbed sweater in camel is my all-time favorite of any skirt I’ve ever owned! Are the buyers maxi-skirt friendly or have they moved on?

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace…they keep passing them….maybe because they know they would have to buy them in petites and regular and that will eat a lot of $$$$….only a guess.

            1. Grace

I agree with Kate–the buyers should just order everything you sketch! You know your customer so well, and the buyers should wise up! (In my humble opinion…lol)

      2. Enjay

I miss them too! And Louis, I still have and wear a fantastic camel suede long skirt of yours that I bought years ago. Still a classic with a black cashmere turtleneck and black boots.

      3. WNYGal/April

THAT would be awesome. I could also go for some slim trousers in that fabric. With Irish knit sweaters & tweed jackets? Yum.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Not this season…..I have some sketched for next season, but that doesn’t mean they will be chosen.

      1. Seka

If I were the Linea QVC Buyer – I would ACCEPT everything you sketched!

        1. louis dell'olio

Thank you Seka….may good ones go by the wayside do to price.

  54. Joanne

    Hi Louis
Great shows yesterday. So nice to see on all day.
You indicated yesterday that you were bringing in pants in the dark umber shade. Did I dream that? If you are which one of your styles?
    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne…..the A268216, Super Ponte Boot Cut pant will be coming in the new Dk. Umber and the new Navy in October……I misspoke about the chocolate pant. There is a new straight leg Super Ponte pant, same fabric as the A268216, in ESPRESSO coming in Dec. It’s darker then the Dk Chocolate WK I just presented.

  55. MadameDuFiffers

    Hi again Louis,
What is the difference between dark choc and coffee bean? TIA
    Madame

  56. blinddogs

Louis, thanks for wonderful shows on Monday (really missed Jac) and for so many new colors in your WK and other “greatest hits.” Of course, you just KNOW I ordered the new mallard in the swing cardi but now I’m trying to recall things in the “archives” to go with. I know you had many things in a mallard shade in the past (I’m thinking the ottoman knit jacket and skirt a while back???) but perhaps you can point me to other items before I go tearing through my own multi shades of green closet archives! LOL. –BLINDDOGS

  57. By the C

Thanks Louis and ladies for all the info.
Have been stalking your clothes for many years and wish QVC would order more–would love to not have to order before any clothes are presented on air. Very tough on the nerves at times trying to get the jump on items.
Great job today although I miss Jac as does everyone.
Where are the TALLS puleeze? Do I need to pressure QVC?
    Safe trip home.
By the way, I would NEVER wear real suede so tons of applause for the faux.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear By the C…..it is up to the buyers whether they buy petites or talls, not me. They write the checks….LOL. If it were up to me every pant would come in petite and tall lengths, but alas it is not my decision. You can try to pressure the buyers, but honestly it has been tried before. I guess the number of customers weren’t big enough for them to notice or maybe just not loud enough. I am already pushing the boundaries when I offer a pant at 31 or 32 inches. It is a big investment for them to make when they order a style in different lengths because of all the sizes. They will always buy petites before talls because of the demand.

  58. Writer with Flair

    Dear Linea Ladies,

  60. Jane J.

Good morning, Louis, The Q has posted a new WK sweater — Whisper Knit Cardigan with Zipper Detail A280938 in black and fuchsia.

    1. MadameDuFiffers

I would love to know the answer to those 3 questions, too. TIA!
Beautiful show, as always. You keep hitting it out of the park!
      Madame

  61. Beth

I am sorry if I am making you repeat yourself but I couldn’t remember if you said when the falling leaves necklace would be available for purchase. I checked the QVC website earlier today and didn’t see it listed. I’ve ordered your ribbon necklace in goldtone and can’t wait to get it. Thanks for all you do, I just love your designs!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beth….the Falling Leaves necklace is sold out and to my knowledge is not coming back.

  62. LoveLinea

    Dear Louis,
Thanks for your “gold medal” designs. I have a question regarding the fit of the new faux suede jacket. Your jeans jackets (I have all three colors) fit me perfectly in size Large. Will the new faux suede jacket in size large parallell the fit of the jeans jacket in size large? Please say hello to your lovely wife and tell her she is in my prayers.
    Best,
    LoveLinea

      1. LoveLinea

        Dear Louis,
Thanks so much for your kind reply. I’m looking forward to your exciting shows and lovely designs!
        Best,
        LoveLinea

  63. Joanne

    Hi Louis
It is so exciting when you present your new collections! All of these dates – My QVC account will be jumping! Thank you for all of your sneak peaks – otherwise it would be so difficult to make choices. It is easier to purchase my choices prior to show than stalk for months afterward.

On another front I made another discovery for taking your moss crepe pants and short sleeve outfits well into fall. I own the Zebra moss green/black as well as the topaz/black cardigans. The topaz/black zebra cardigan matches the cinnamon moss crepe outfit perfectly and the moss green/black zebra cardigan matches the sage green moss crepe outfit perfectly.

  64. Victoria1

    Louis
FYI?..my reminder from QVC still lists your show at 5-6 pm rsther than 4-5pm🤓

  65. Yvette

Oh help, Louis! QVC has still not put up actual color swatches for the new colors in the swing cardi A267864. I want to order before the show because xxs always disappears so fast. What in the world does “dark umber” look like? Umber I know, it’s the “dark” part that worries me. How dark? Inquiring minds want to know, lol. I’d love to see the mallard as well. It’s just too risky to wait until the show, so l’m getting desperate here! And please tell Jac that she will be in our hearts during the shows.

    1. designista

Please forgive me for stepping in here, but Louis may not have time to answer you with having to pack up and head to PA today. If you look at the Linea Forum on QVC, Sunshine 45 has kindly posted Jac’s list for all of the shows for 8/22. This cardigan is not included in any of the shows, and Louis has not included it in his Sneek Peaks.

      1. Yvette

Thanks, designista. I realized that the swing cardi wasn’t mentioned by Jac, but it is on JustJazzMom’s list for Monday’s shows. I thought maybe Jac had just talked about the highlights of the show and I didn’t want to take a chance of missing out. But your explanation makes more sense.

        1. Seka

Yvette – take a look at the new Linea Faux Suede Jacket – A279526 – one of the colours is Dark Umber – and there is a photo.

          1. Yvette

Oh Seka, thank you so very much! It’s a beautiful color – not too dark for me at all.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Yvette, the swing cardigan is not on my August shows. I haven’t even taken pictures of them yet because they are supposed to be on my end of Sept show. I will have the matching Linea Body legging to match

      1. Yvette

Thanks for setting me straight, Louis. I just couldn’t wait – had to order the mallard. I have two other Linea cardis in shades of red, so I managed to restrain myself on that color, but I’ll need to order the deep umber next month for sure. Much as I love the pullover swing sweaters, I can only wear them for about 2 months of the year down here in the Gulf South.45 But the swing cardigan works all year, air conditioning being frigid in so many places. See you tomorrow!

        1. Yvette

Don’t know where that stray 45 came from!
