… personal stories with other designers reveal.

      1. Grace

Goldie, thank you for posting! What an interesting read–I always enjoy your posts. In fact, I know for sure that if somehow we wound up at the same dinner party, I would definitely want to be seated next to you!

        1. Pecan Cookie

          Me2!

          1. Goldie76

I am delighted by both of you, too, Grace and Pecan Cookie. You would be the sort that I would gravitate to at a dinner party.

It is reassuring that some of the news and stories that interest me are equally interesting to my sister Linea Lovers. We are a curious lot, no doubt, and we are interested in others — especially well-known names in the fashion world.

[An admission here: I am fascinated by Anna Wintour but sense that she and I would not be compatible on several levels. Still, I would like to know what makes her tick.]

            Thank you both again!

Opinions needed on wearing the red poncho over the red coat!,

  2. Pecan Cookie

    Hi Louis,
I just received the tiger eye necklace, J333066, and did my eyes do a happy dance. In fact, each time I look at it that happens. Love it! Thank you

  3. Catherine

I purchased the turtleneck swing sweater, A268137, and it arrived this week. It seems moderately thinner and not as hefty as the only other swing sweater that I own, A259620, the so-called “original whisper knit swing sweater.” In fact, I was cold while wearing the turtleneck without another sweater over top, something that rarely happens with A259620. I recall that the button front cardigan swing sweater is made of a lighter weight yarn or knitted differently than A259620. I did not care for the weight of that cardigan and returned it. Can you tell me if the current order of A259620 is the same weight as the original production run, and perhaps also confirm whether or not A268137 (turtleneck) and A282506 (V-neck) are truly lighter weight as it seems to me? I am probably one of the rare customers who prefers the heavier version of the every needle rib. It does not wrinkle in front when I sit down, and is much warmer than the lighter weight version.
    Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Catherine, the ballet neck, v-neck and TN are all in the original heavier weight. The only reason one would feel lighter than the other is the color. Sometimes the darker colors can feel heavier than the lighter ones, but they are the same yarn.

      1. Catherine

Thank you! I ordered the turtleneck in gray, and it just seems thinner. I am looking forward to getting the V-necks, then. Do you know if the ballet neck will be restocked this winter season?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

That could be because it is a heather version of the yarn, but I’m just guessing as I really didn’t notice any distinct difference with my samples.

  4. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

What are the directions for altering the “Adjustable Y Necklace?” You explained them quickly during a recent presentation, but I don’t recall what what you said. TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie, please look at my sneak peek of the necklace as I describe exactly what you should do in detail. If you still have any questions I’ll be happy to answer.

      1. Goldie76

Oh yes, the directions were here all the while. I forgot that, Louis. I like the length, as is, and will just leave well enough alone, as they say. This length will probably suit everyone across the board no matter what height or torso length they have.

The Tiger Eye is a beauty — I’m so very fond of your chocolates AND your gunmetals. Mentioning the gunmetal because I decided to buy the Palm Frond earrings in gunmetal. Have the gunmetal necklace and all other metals in the earrings, but when I opened up my box with the gunmetal earrings, I found their beauty staggering.

        Thank you!

        1. Goldie76

Of course I have the shorter Palm Frond and the longer Palm Frond in the goldtone and silvertone, too. If any Linea Lady has not bought the Palm Frond necklace (J290362) yet (perhaps you became a fan recently), the necklace is one you should not miss. Louis designed it originally for the Anne Klein collection in the ’90s, if I remember correctly. We were fantastically lucky to have it offered to us through QVC. The necklace will be a collectible.

        2. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie……The advantage of the slide is more to create different looks with different necklines rather then changing the length. For instance you may want the keeper to be at a different position with a V-neck and another position with a shirt collar like the wing or Kate shirts…..I’m so glad you decided to get the Palm Frond Earrings in the GM. They are truly one of a kind, and even though I did them for AK, I never did them in GM. They are very special and should belong to people who appreciate them.

          1. Goldie76

… and I do, Louis, and I do.

Lately I have been more and more convinced that I love your fashion almost as a love of art in general. Of course I love your colors, but the way you have taught us to pull together various pieces to create a beautiful vision is priceless. Thank you so much. There seems to be a dearth of beauty these days, and I take it wherever I can find it.

  5. luvitorleaveit

Hi Louis it was wonderful seeing your new items live and in color yesterday but still you are never on long enough. I ordered the blue/grey and the wine/spice sweater before the show so I am anxiously waiting for these beauties to arrive I thought with all the details it would have been more $$$. I’m on waitlist for the blue/black mixed media sweater I had such a hard time ordering online yesterday and it went so quickly so I’m keeping hope alive that one will arrive at my door very soon. I am also a fan of the mid calf WK skirt and was able to get the beautiful petrol and nutmeg colors along with the matching cardigans but sorry to hear it won’t be returning. I know the ponte pants will be a staple in your collection so I would love to see those pants in that deep hunter green color like you did in those fabulous WK pants. Looking forward to your next show.

  6. Kate

You’ve yet to show fully present the reorder/new colors of the WK skirt and the turtleneck swing sweater. Does that indicate you might be on in November?

    1. Seka

Maybe Louis will present them during his one hour Show in November:

Published on October 24, 2016 in From Louis. 11 Comments
      Hi all……Mark your calendars…….November 17th at 1:00pm…………..I will have a one hour show….

      1. Kate

How did I miss that! Of course, that’s the “make-up” show. Duh.

  7. Dariann Lopez

    Dear Louis,

I already ordered my poncho even though you haven’t presented it on the air yet. What a great price and on EZ PAY!

  8. Terri

Hi Louis! On the off chance you see this, is the Faux Shetland Cardigan Coat part of the Leisure Line or is it a stand alone item on your Linea collection? I was confused on the website seeing the Q label it as part of your Linea Leisure line. Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Terri, that’s a good question…….the 3 previous sweaters done in this yarn have regular Linea Labels, but for some reason the buyers wanted this cardigan to have a Linea Leisure label…..so technically it is part of the Leisure line, but for me it’s part of the collection.

  9. Kate

Um, what’s the scoop on that sparkly cuff you showed this morning (10/31) with the swing v neck sweater?

    1. Goldie76

It caught my eye! Very pleasing to look at (and I was secretly hoping Louis would point it out as a sneak-peek).

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate….you’re my little eagle eye! That’s a new cuff coming for spring, March or April? It is multi rows of faceted metal rings…open in the back…….gold, gunmetal, silver and chocolate….IT REALLY IS FABULOUS AND LOOKS EXPENSIVE.

      1. Grace

That cuff is a WOW, Louis!

  10. Debby

Please bring back whisper knit long sleeve jewel neck sweater – would love it in the new colors to match new clothing when its to hot for a turtle neck but just right for a jewel neck, classic ,its a staple in my wardrobe, heather grey brown etc would be great!Love the new clothing bought lots!! Thanks Debby

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debby…….a new jewel neck Classic ENR WK sweater is coming this year….when I don’t know…….maybe Nov….maybe Dec….if we’re lucky it will be on the Nov. show…scarlet red, winter white, black, espresso.

      1. Debby

        Heather grey?

  11. karan

Could you give us the bust measurements for MM sweater? They gave them on air, but not in the video. Thank you so much.

      1. karan

Thank you for taking time to answer my question on such a busy day. On the blog JustJazzmom wrote that she call Customer Service and then posted the XS and S measurements. Thank you for such beautiful clothes.

  12. Beth

    Louis
I have been going through my whisper knit collection in anticipation of your presentations tomorrow (trying to decide what new pieces I cannot live without) and I have come across my whisper knit mid calf skirt (A257384). This has been one my most treasured whisper knit pieces and I was wondering this will ever be considered for a reorder? I have the black and just love it but my size is no longer available. I would love to have a back up in black and at least one in another of your lovely colors.

I cannot wait to see your presentations tomorrow!! Thank you again for all you do!

    Beth

    1. Goldie76

Very fond of this skirt, too, Beth! Would love colors beyond my black and petrol blue.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beth…that skirt will not be reordered. The black sold out right away but the other colors did not and still are avail. I guess I can’t get too “fashion” with bottom colors because they never do well. Yes, ther are some of you who understand and love color, but unfortunately not enough. I alway sketch a long WK skirt but it doesn’t get selected…I’ll keep trying.

      1. Pecan Cookie

That skirt is a fav of mine as well. But all your longer straight skirts such as the Roma Ponte brown and spruce are well cared for. 🙂 Oh heck! All Linea is treasured.

        1. Goldie76

Yes, especially as certain “bottoms” are not up for reorder. Goes for certain classic looks (those that are pre-shark tooth and having irregular hems, for example). I like a particular look and do not veer far from its essential components, I suppose. What a stick in the mud I can be at times. LOL

          1. Chris S.

I also love that longer black skirt. I think you are spot on that many of us love classic colors for the bottoms, but enjoy fashion colors, as well as the classics, on top. I would love that skirt, or one similar in navy and heather grey.

            1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

I too absolutely love that longer whisper knit skirt. Cold where we live and have already worn in 4 or 5 times this season in the black. I also have the other two colors and matching pieces so I will be wearing those also but my favorites, it turns out, are the classic, and darker, neutrals. Would LOVE to have this skirt in Linea NAVY which would go so well with Linea blazers and a jillion Linea sweater tops in my wardrobe. I just want to keep my legs comfy cozy and warm while looking chic and modest in the winter months and for me, that means keeping as much of the legs covered as possible. And yes, Chris, Heather Grey, but I would also do a great red. And obviously since I have nutmeg and petrol blue, I’ll grab up any fashion color that gets approved in this length/style. I play the organ at church on Sundays and I LOVE that this skirt does not need any slit in it for comfort yet I can still reach foot pedals just fine.

            2. Goldie76

“I play the organ at church on Sundays and I LOVE that this skirt does not need any slit in it for comfort yet I can still reach foot pedals just fine.”

              Nancy,

You had no “Reply” button but I wanted to write that I was utterly charmed by this endorsement of the long Whisper Knit skirt. WK, the greatest. Great in ways too numerous to enumerate.

  13. Victoria1

Just a question Louis…when did you first start using the double zipper?. My first experience were your anoraks of a couple years ago, blk, white and sage. I ask because I had never seen them used before. And I have been reading top fashion mags and Women’s Wear daily forever. Just reading an Esquire mag article on a new Sherpa bomber jacket for men and the photo has this pristine jacket with gold double zippers. Have a feeling Italy was probably doing them for a while.

Do you know where we got the double zipper in Fashion?. It now seems so obvious …and everybody at the Q is copying you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Victoria…..I’ve been using double zips for literally decades. When I first started using that detail for QVC I don’t remember. I do remember that it took a while to get approval to use them, because there was a lot of push back for many reasons.I’m not sure what started double zips but I believe it was men’s sporting goods…..field jackets, hunting jackets etc.

    2. Yvette

Not to take away from Louis’s wonderful double zipper items, of which I have MANY, but I have had clothing with double zippers for a good 10 – 15 years. Many manufacturers shy away from double zippers because they are more expensive. Thanks why I so appreciate Louis going to bat for us with QVC and fighting for double zippers. Thanks, Louis!

  14. Clothes horse

Could someone describe aloe color or give me a number for an article in that color? Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Clothes Horse, Willow is a soft pale green, like a Celadon porcelain color. It has a little yellow and a touch of gray. If you google Celadon you will get a better idea…..though my Willow may not be exactly what you see….it’s the same family.

  15. Carol

Hi Louis… Is A72448 WK Turtleneck Sweater in Charcoal an exact match to the Charcoal in the new Shetland Sweater Coat (Charcoal/Blue)? You have listed that item number for the sweater coat as A282504 where it is pictured, but as A282513 where you tell when it will be presented. Not sure which is correct since QVC has not posted it yet.

Also what are the new colors going to be in the V-Neck Faux Shetland Sweater? When will they be available? I have 4 of them, and wear all the time with leggings and boots. I pray one of them is a Dark Berry color.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….numbers are NOT MY FRIENDS!!!!! A282504 is the correct number….sorry….The A72448 is an excellent match to the cardigan sweater considering they are two different yarns. It’s pictured in my sneak peak. The H.Grey Boot Cut Pant, the Linea Body legging in H. Grey, the new H. Grey WK pencil skirt, the H Grey Linea Body tights and even the V-neck Faux Shetland sweater you already own…..all work perfectly with this new long cardigan…..so you see it’s a little wardrobe in Heather Charcoal Grey…………Your prayers are answered…..one of the new colors for the reorder V-neck faux Shetland sweater is BLACKBERRY, and it works perfectly with the A72448, Blackberry TN. I will show it that way with the slim Ponte pant in grey…..The other colors are NAVY [looks great with the pale blue Kate cotton shirt and navy pants or jeans……CAMEL [looks great with Dark Umber Ponte pant and leggings], and…..WILLOW……This is a beautiful soft green like Aloe. I will be showing it with the short sleeve Alabaster jewel neck WK sweater [has been reordered], and the slim ponte pant in Lt. Khaki [this is also coming back but this time in ALABASTER!]…….I think you will be very happy.

      1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, your my hero. I had asked about willow last year and you did it! I’m in for the blackberry, navy and Aloe. I’ve bought every brownish color that this sweater has been offered in so I may pass on the camel. But, then again, I talk brave and cave later during the presentations, LOL.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Deborah….it’s your WILLOW….now I hope you like the color!

          1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

I’m certain I will. When I received my first Shetland sweaters (including the hunter), I could only think how superb either style (tunic or cardigan) would be in a willow green. To me, the yarn seemed made for that color. I have about 4 cardigans and 5 tunics in the Shetland fiber. I’m excited to add these new colors.

      2. Carol

Yea!!! Looks like I will be adding 4 more of the V-neck Faux Shetland Sweaters to my wardrobe…all of the new colors sound amazing! THANK YOU so much for the Blackberry, especially. You did not mention when these will be coming…this season, I hope …???

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, this season, but I’m not sure when……Nov or early Dec, but I’m just guessing. Since there are basically only 2 months left of the year….it’s a pretty good guess…LOL

  16. Cathy Morton

    Dear Louis,

Will you have any dresses coming soon? I would love something “dressy” for a cruise I am going on in April. I will probably order your crepe gauze dress for the cruise as soon as I decide what color would be best. I am very fair with dark hair and eyes and wondering if I could pull off the alabaster color. Thank you.

P.S. I recently received the scarlet coat and my husband keeps telling me how much he likes it and how nice I look in it.

    Cathy Morton
    Cathy Morton

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Cathy…..I will have another Crepe Gauze dress, but unfortunately it is due for April selling so it may be too late for your cruise…….It’s hard to give advice on color. How do ivory, vanilla and beige work for you?…..Jac is also very fair and has very white blond hair. She looks very good in the Alabaster. If you have fair skin with dark eyes and hair I see no reason why the Alabaster shouldn’t look well on you…You may have to adjust your lip and blush colors, but it all should work…..Your husband has great taste, and it’s always nice to know they are paying attention!

      1. Cathy Morton

Thanks for the info and advice. Yes, the new dress won’t make it in time, but I ordered the current alabaster and black ones that I will take with me on the cruise. Thanks again.

  17. Yoko

    A282502
Linea Leisure by Louis Dell’Olio V-Neck Tunic Very happy with this new tunic. The new material is quite nice. I do like it better than the heavier version of this material. Bought grape and went back for the dark brown. I am hopeful it will be a reorder–requesting it in black, navy and very dark berry. Thank you for this new top.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yoko, so pleased you like the new fabric….not sure it will be a reorder as the initial selling was slow.I think as the women give it a try they, like you, will realize how nice it is.

  18. Clothes horse

    Thank you Chris

  19. Gail

Hello Louis: Regarding the faux shetland sweater coat, is it as roomy as the v-neck and cardigan? I have several of them in my usual Linea size M, but I could use the S, I think. Even with layering them over WK turtleneck there is plenty of room to spare. I’m wondering which size to order in the sweater coat-S or M.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would say whatever size you bought in those you should buy in the cardigan. Jac had on the xs with the WK TN and it fit perfectly…not big or baggy but not skimpy either. It’s not over sized.

      1. Gail

Thanks. I’m looking forward to it, as well as the new colors in the faux shetland V-neck. As you might guess, I live in a chilly climate.

  20. Clothes horse

Excuse the typo. I meant swing sweater although swing sweaters make me sing!,,,

    1. Chris S.

All you need to do when looking for old sneak peeks is type in the search bar at the top right of the page. If you type swing sweater and wait a minute, you will get 7 pages of his old posts. Just keep hitting “older” at the top left of the page (not the back arrow) to see all of the pages of swing sweaters. If you want just the new v neck style, type in v neck swing sweater and you’ll get the sneak peeks of the 3 new colors. I think if you want the swing cardigans, you need to type swing cardigans. If you have a style number, you can type that in. I hope this helps.

  21. Clothes horse

Can someone tell us colors of VneckWK sing sweater? Thanks

  22. Merrylass

Louis, how do I love thee (platonically)? Colours of charcoal grey and scarlet have been wonderful additions to my wardrobe. Everything fits beautifully and mix & match with ease! Since I work from home, I usually dress in sweats (looking forward to the Leisure joggers) but I LOVE dressing well for work. Since I had to go into the office today, I wore my new WK charcoal grey swing cardigan, with the white Kate shirt and the new charcoal grey ponte knit pants today with Tahitian pearl strands with matching earrings and I looked very professional BUT I was as comfortable as if I were wearing my sweats! I’m thrilled that I could have worn my new charcoal grey swing turtleneck (arrived this afternoon) or my new charcoal grey WK skirt and I would have looked equally professional. Thank you for creating these lovely pieces — they are wonderful additions to my wardrobe.

Of course I’ve purchased almost everything in scarlet (except for the quilted jacket and coat — already have too many outer wear items). Navy, white, black also remain perennial favourites. I will post my reviews as soon as I come up for air (have a work deadline!). Thank you again for such lovely “classic with a twist” additions to my wardrobe.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Merrylass, I happy you are so pleased ith your new things. The Heather Charcoal Grey has always been one of my favorite looks and I did it many times at A Klein. Since you already have all of these pieces you may want to consider the Heather Charcoal grey tights to wear with the skirt, and the H? c. grey leggings to wear with the cardigan and swing TN…..just a suggestion.

      1. Merrylass

Yes, I have the tights (in multiples) and the leggings (again in multiples). I am looking forward to wearing the charcoal tights with the charcoal grey skirt and my myriad of tops … my scarlet tops will look lovely with my charcoal grey skirt and tights! I’m looking forward to getting the ponchos in scarlet and black!

  23. Sharon

Good Morning Louis, I thought I had ordered my quotas with my 6 new TN swing sweaters but now I need to know about the new Shetland coat sweater and new sweater just posted. I read that there were sneak peeks on on these items so could you or one of the ladies tell me where on video could I find them. i may have missed it but is this sweater coat lined . I had a good laugh when I wore my first pair of leggings and I felt like I was in a sausage casing and my swing sweater was not long enough for my 60 plus body . So needless to say they won’t make it outside but it was funny.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon the sweater cardigan is not lined. I only call it a sweater/coat because in states like Florida and Southern Cal. this will be all they need for a winter coat. Up north the ladies will wear it indoors as a long cardigan………..P.S. The V-neck Shetland sweater has been reordered and is coming in 4 new colors….it’s beautiful. I mention this because it’s a longer sweater and looks great with the leggings. I think with a pair of boots you will feel covered up enough to venture outside with confidence.

      1. Donna

Sharon – I agree with Louis on the Shetland sweater. I have 2 (Blue and Stone) and wear them constantly. I actually wore the blue yesterday with black leggings and boots on a field trip to Boston with my son’s class. I felt very comfortable and stylish. (And over it was the Navy trench). I am 5’7″ with long legs and this sweater covers me nicely. I cannot wait to get some new colors, as well as the new “coat”. I say, try the V-neck with your leggings and I bet you rock the look 🙂

        1. Donna

I actually have the Mauve, not Stone.

    2. Julia

Sharon–The video for the sweater cardigan/coat can be seen with the WK Turtleneck A72448. Brenda was wearing the Spruce Green & Fuchsia combination. I did not see the mixed media sweater.

  24. Julia

    Louis,

Your Adjustable Y Necklace J-333066 has been posted on the Q!

  25. Judy

This may have been already ask but I missed it. What colors will the straight leg Ponte pant come in and when will they be showing on QVC?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They will be in BLACK and ESPRESSO and they are due in Nov. Dec….you never know with the Q when they will post items. They are terrific pants in the same Super Ponte as the Boot Cut Pant and the same top and fit.

  26. Regina

I bought two of the Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Coats with Hammered Buttons A284133 in Winter White and Scarlet Red. I also just ordered A268137 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit Turtleneck hoping this is the swing style that was featured on air with the coat. I would like to buy the matching Scarlet Red skirt that the model Kate was wearing with the coat. Is this a new skirt for fall winter 2016 and when will it be available please? I HAVE TO have it in size S before it sells out to complete my outfit! Do you have an item number for the skirt please?
I LOVE my exquisite and sophisticated coats!! Thank you Louis!! I also bought this coat in Winter White because it looked so very elegant on your beautiful wife Jacque. The coat and all the above matching pieces aired on October 17, 2016 hosted by Carolyn Gracie. Thank you again. I love your Linea quality and stunning fashions.

      1. Regina

        Thank you very much!

  27. Grace

    Dear Louis,

My coats in red, black & white have finally arrived and like everyone else, I LOVE them. They are beyond wonderful! I have a question, though, about how you intended the coat to fit, specifically in the back. I noticed on your models, there was a bit of a sway of material (for lack of a better term) when they turned around. The coats did not hang straight down. The reason I ask…I ordered the white in size 12 and it fits perfectly, with room to spare for layering. The other two are size 14’s and they fit everywhere, but the back is looser & fits much like the one’s modeled. I hate to swap out the two coats for size 12’s (if I can even get them in my size), so I’m gathering input to help me decide what to do. Any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace….since the models are taller than the average woman and the clothes are fit more for the average woman……a coat will often look like that because the waist is sitting a little to high which will make the coat seem to flare higher then it should. This is not about size, but fit. From what you have described it seems to me the 12 is your size.

      1. Grace

        Thanks very much, Louis!

  28. Seka

The New Stone Drop Pendant J333066 is posted on Q and available to order!

    1. Dariann Lopez

Thanks, Seka. I just ordered the tiger eye.
      Dariann

  29. Kathy/Wis

    Hello Louis
I would like your opinion on wearing the new cardigan/coat as a dress? I love the wine/spice and wearing it with tights and boots ?
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy. the sneak peek of the wine/spice already looks like a dress. As far as the “look” goes I would say yes, why not. You could always wear something under it like a TN and still wear it as a dress. Jac will be trying it on before I come down on the 31st so I will give you a definitive answer then.

  30. Fairfax

I always watch my favorite Linea items in case a new color pops up. I just happened to look in on the pebble crepe tunic (A213621) , which is one of my favorites. I live in the South and can wear it in most months except winter. For those interested, a couple of retired (aqua and olive) colors, have just popped up in many sizes.I don’t know why they are posted, but I grabbed two. Yea!

    1. Yvette

Yea! I had missed out on the olive and was just able to scoop one up thanks to your kind heads up. I live in the south, too, and have this top in oh so many colors. Happy to add another! But how in the world does QVC come up with these discontinued items? There must be some really DARK corners in their warehouses lol.

  31. KathleenAlice

    Hi Louis,

Is there any chance you will ever bring back the whisper knit scarves you had two years ago? I gave so many as gifts to my family and each year I can think of more people who would love them! I have several myself. Thank-you for all you do. I especially love my new black coat with the gold buttons. It makes me feel wonderful!

    1. Goldie76

KathleenAlice, I love those scarves, too. New colors would be a joy!

      1. Grace

        I love them, too!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear KathleenAlice…..I wish I could bring them back because Jac and I wore them all the time last year. I put all of my wool scarves away. Unfortunately they did not sell well? So they will not be reordered. Maybe I can convince them to reorder them without the gift box with a new A number. I’ll try but no promises.

      1. Chris S.

        Dear Louis,
I think these would do very well in classic colors. I’d love navy, ivory, heather grey, and scarlet red. I have a few of the black ones, but none of the other original colors worked for me.
Thank you for trying to get a reorder!

        1. Goldie76

EXCELLENT POINT, Chris S. I sincerely believe that your theory is correct. Classic colors and no box would be a terrific solution in order to reorder this perfect scarf. The colors were “off-center,” so to speak. I bought all, but I must admit that the goldish/mustard one (don’t recall its name) did not work very well for me. I bought it anyway since I love this scarf so much.

        2. Kate

This was my issue, too. I ordered the black but the other fashion colors weren’t right with my wardrobe. I know it can’t be fun to always have to offer the same basics, but they do come in handy!

      2. KathleenAlice

would it be possible to offer them as a set with gloves to make it different? I can only imagine how luxurious whisper knit gloves would be!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Unfortunately my WK sweater manufacturer doesn’t make knit gloves. That takes special machinery…..good idea though.

      3. WNYGal/April

Another vote for the return of the WK scarf! We’ll buy our own gift boxes, if they’re not snatched off our necks first!

    3. Joanne

I agree. I own a couple of those scarves and I purchased them for gifts also. They were a big hit. Also the best part they do not itch and they are easy to care for.

  32. Cheri

Louis, Am I mistaken or did you mention a new color in the linea leisure pants? If so was it red and is it the same scarlet red as the beautiful scarlet coat? Thank you for all you do for us

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cheri….the Linea Leisure pant has not been reordered, so it will not be coming in any additional colors.

      1. Cheri

That makes me sad to hear that. These are my go to pants when I am just running errands and such. I have every color and they were perfect for vacation at the beach. Thank you for answering so quickly. I look forward to your shows on the 17th and the times you will be on 31st. Even if I cannot buy I love to watch how you coordinate all of your items. Be safe on your journey to QVC and back home.

UPDATE ON THE MYSTERIOUS AVAILABILITY OF THE SOLD-OUT TRAPEZE NECKLACES

    Dear Louis,

My silvertone and goldtone Trapeze necklaces arrived today, and I am very pleased by them. First of all, I was relieved to know that they truly were available and had arrived. The silvertone delights me more than the goldtone, strangely enough. Perhaps I am all about “shiny.” It seemed odd to me that those who tried to buy after I sent out the news about the availability of more necklaces met with difficulty because for nearly an hour after I posted the news, I was able to order more of this necklace (if I had wanted additional pieces). They were there, ladies, for a full hour, from start to finish. It was a fascinating experience.

    1. Grace

Hi Goldie, happy to hear your orders went through! That necklace is now sold out. I hope QVC reorders it!

      1. Goldie76

Thank you, Grace. When the whole lot was available before the show, I ordered three; however, I was then hit with “over-buying” remorse and cancelled everything. Then, while I watched the recording of the show several hours after the actual broadcast, I fell totally in love with the silvertone. By that time, nothing was available. I don’t recall the sequence of events fully, but I kept trying and then the necklace popped up as available for purchase. Decided I’d regret not buying the goldtone, and the rest is my strange history with these necklaces. I love a dramatic look, and these darlings offer a strikingly dramatic look.

        1. Grace

Goldie, I agree, they are very special necklaces. Even though I missed out on the silver on this round, I am enjoying my trapeze in gold and black! I do think you had perfect timing the day you ordered, and knowing what a lovely & generous person you are, I’m thinking your good karma also played a role 😉 In any case, you deserved the do-over to reclaim your treasures!

          1. Goldie76

Thank you for your sweet and generous thoughts, Grace. Maybe a few goldtone and silvertone will be reordered. (I hope you eventually get your silvertone because I really like its presence.) I remember now that when buying my necklaces I persisted, despite the “waitlist” message. Just decided to go ahead and get on a waitlist. Was I ever surprised when my purchase went through to full-on “bought” and then proceeded to “in process.” Guess I am now a believer in strange Internet interludes.

            1. Grace

You are most welcome, Goldie. And, I agree–believe in Internet interludes and persistence!

  34. luvitorleaveit

Louis will the taupe ponte knit pants be restocked? I can’t believe the dark umber isn’t sold out that color is beautiful I see what you mean about it with the darker colors and of course white or ivory.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear luvitorleaveit….it’s too early to know…..What happened? did you miss out getting the Taupe pant??

      1. luvitorleaveit

YES!!!!! It just dawned on me when I was getting my taupe look together I am so so disappointed in myself!

  35. Clothes horse

No for coat sweater Thank you.

  36. Joanne

My new black coat with gold buttons arrived. It is so well styled, fitted and like all of your other clothing so slimming. I did not realize that it had a flattering yoke in the front. Best part I can also use the coat as a beautiful walking coat in place of a blazer. In fact I am going to a meeting Thursday AM. I am going to wear your beautiful coat over my new Linea cream turtleneck, Linea black slim ankle pants, a gorgeous Hermes scarf, minimal gold jewelry, black boots and handbag. Thank you Louis for keeping us all looking so good.

On another front I wish QVC would let you bring back your sequin skirts and tops. I still wear my Linea black top and skirt together and separately. I treat the outfit gingerly so it never wears out.

  37. Judy

5 Easy Pay on apparel, I was so glad to get the WK swing TN and the whisper knit skirt! I missed out last year on this top.

  38. Clothes horse

Please tell an old customer new blogger what ENR stands for .I am losing sleep over it. Thank you!,,

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Clothes Horse, please do not loose sleep! ENR stands for EVERY NEEDLE RIB, which is a construction of knit. The knitting machines have to be set up differently using every needle to knit this fine rib. I use it for many reasons. One the final knit fabric is thicker and heavier than a jersey knit, because it requires double the amount of yarn. This gives the fabric more body and it hangs against the body without CLINGING. Also, which is a great benefit, the knit fabric comes off the machine with a finished hem so there is no need to add a rib bottom or a tubular bottom to prevent unraveling. It also lets the fabric drape with out any interference. WK stands for Whisper Knit, so I will often refer to a sweater as WK ENR….it just saves a lot of typing.

  39. Debby

Is the new espresso turtle neck swing sweater really the same brown as the walnut wk skirt? Already own skirt and tights love them and everything other piece I own from your line! Thanks Debby

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debby, no it is not the same. The Espresso is lighter and a slight different cast. I actually prefer the Espresso with black for more of a contrast.

    1. Victoria1

Holy Rip Off! Too bad because in the 80s my bizness suits were either Anne Klein or Isaac Mizrahi from SFA in SF!
Louis does best work at the Q hands down! Like Louis, I adore Charcoal gray! It is my favorite color.
Just saw some grey flannel pleated pants…which throughout 80s into 90s if not in a suit, those pants were my staple with a great white shirt or a Camel cashmere crewneck and loafers. Not sure how many other women like them, but they were my
      Ode to Katherine Hepburn!

      1. Amanda Barber

Look at all his 5 star reviews! Well earned.

    2. Yvette

I’m just surprised they didn’t call the pink one “perfectly pink”. And yes, I’m shaking my head!

    3. Rebecca

To rub salt into the wound, it’s also Monday’s TSV. 🙁

      1. Grace

I did a double take when I saw Jane wearing this sweater on a QVC holiday show yesterday (over faux leather pants), but I knew right away from the poor fit that it was not a Linea. The bottom half of the IM sweater does not fall gracefully over the hips, but protrudes awkwardly, frankly making Jane’s nice figure look twice the size. Very unflattering IMO. Also, I’ve purchased two of Isaac’s long cashmere cardigans (nearly $200 each) several years ago and they both stretched out & became unwearable after one season. Just FYI.

        1. louis dell'olio

Is that for my information or the Linea women….LOL

          1. Grace

LOL, Louis. Mostly for my Linea sisters, but thought you’d like to know, too. Hope I wasn’t too blunt!

  40. Jane J.

Good morning, Louis, Just a heads-up — The faux Shetland boyfriend cardigan A259619 is a lunchtime special today for $27.32 and two easy pays.

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s funny…the cardigan is a lunchtime special, but the V-neck pull over is a reorder with 4 new colors?

  41. Sharon

Hello Louis, well I just ordered all of the new TN swing sweaters so I can’t wait to see them. I also ordered all three of the new coats at the same time and two came today in bags that had black tread marks all over the bag. I’m still waiting on the white one and the legging in grey. Why on earth the Q can’t get this shipping thing together after all these years I’ll never understand.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sharon, I am also a customer of QVC, and it’s a mystery to me also. Jac buys a lot from QVC and from Amazon. The shipping and return policy of Amazon is something that QVC should emulate.

      1. JBCinSD

Agree completely. Free two-day shipping from Amazon puts QVC to shame. I’d gladly pay QVC $99/year for that, just as I’ve paid Amazon for probably ten years.

  42. Kate

Red coat presentation. Where, oh where, did you source those amazing, matching red shoes?

    1. louis dell'olio

I got them ages ago when I was doing the red sequins and the red boucle topper. I think I got them at the DSW.

  43. Joanne

    Hi Louis
The new V neck swing sweater will sell out in seconds. Does the V neck swing sweater with regard to sizing run like the boat neck swing sweater or the cardigan swing sweater which runs larger. I wear a medium in the boat neck and I size down for the cardigan swing sweater to small. Obviously we will have to go in the system prior to airing to purchase.

  44. jeancp

    Louis,
How would you compare/contrast the aubergine from a few seasons ago with the new wine? Also, are they compatible?

    Thank you so much,
    Jean

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jean…..sorry for the delay….had to find an aubergine sweater! They are almost exact…..the wine is slightly darker. If you own the Aubergine WK skirt and the L. Body tights they can definitely be worn together.

  45. Kate

Any sign of the poncho on the horizon? Could you whisper the colors to us?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate…..I will have three “hits” on Oct 31st…..the V-neck swing WK on the Morning Show at 7am, the Poncho at 7pm on Inspired style, and the Faux Shetland cardigan/coat on PM Style. I will be posting the poncho this week end.

      1. Kate

Well, its not like having a one-hour show, but at least we’ll get to see the items live and perfectly styled!

        Thanks for the heads up.

Is there a show planned for November?

        1. louis dell'olio

As of now no….more hits :(….The problem with Inspired style is there are only 2 models….Jacqui and Deanna, so I will probably only get one……Jac will be there too. If that’s the case I’ll show the camel and red since I have already sneak peeked the Heather Charcoal Grey on Maria.

  46. Clothes horse

The number for the red WK skirt is the coat number Is there a correct one available? Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

A253411 is the skirt number, but the new colors aren’t listed yet.

      1. Kate

New colors are posted for sale. Note that there are already broken sizes. Either the skirts are selling really fast or not all stock has been loaded into the system!

        1. louis dell'olio

Since it’s just the plus sizes they probably aren’t in the system yet. They are usually packed by size.

          1. Goldie76

            I got my two!

            1. Goldie76

A Large in most garments, I take an Extra Large in the Whisper Knit skirts. They are a mite roomy, but I enjoy them that way in addition to the smidgen of additional length.

            2. Grace

Got my red & grey 🙂

  47. Judi

I received the elegant black coat today! The fabric is as wonderful as you described, the fit is so flattering, I love the accent of the gold on black. I will need to take it to the cleaners or steam it myself to eliminate all the wrinkles it sustained in transit.
The not so good news: the coat arrived wadded up, unfolded in a clear plastic bag which was within the larger Q plastic bag. The QVC outer bag was unsealed (opened!) with the packing slip missing. I can only surmise that the weight of the coat being tossed around in transit, opened the flimsy heat seal of the outer bag. I have taken the matter up with QVC, but I wanted to let you know as well.
The packaging by QVC is worse than shoddy. It’s not too much to expect it to be carefully folded and packaged appropriately. One of the trench coats arrived the same way (although the pkg. was sealed). And one of the trenches came in a box! Go figure.
I, for one, would not mind paying a bit more to have clothing delivered as I would expect from a fine store or boutique.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

This is an on going story whenever there is a garment like a coat that isn’t packaged well. Ultimately, is is QVC who has to make the decision whether they will pay more to have it shipped in a box with a garment bag and hanger.

    2. Joanne

I ordered two new trenches the black and Khaki/black. They came together in a QVC box and well packaged in plastic with tissue paper. The belt was also individually packaged, well folded with tissue paper.

    3. Heidi

      Judi,

Call customer service and complain about the condition of the garments when they arrive. I was able to get them to credit the cost of pressing to my last two trench coats because they arrived so wrinkled. If more people do this maybe it will inspire QVC to ship more items appropriately.

    4. Victoria1

My new black coat arrived relatively free of wrinkles in a bag! Hallelujah! It is gorgeous
      TankU Louis!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Victoria….I’m so happy to hear this. I really feel badly when things arrive not like they should. All the time and effort that goes into a garment, and then they don’t arrive in the the best condition is very disheartening…..I’m happy yours arrived beautifully. Wear it in good health!

  48. Kate

May I put in an official request for more sweaters in the luscious “Cream” that you did for us in the famous turtleneck? So flattering!

    1. louis dell'olio

yes you may…..I wasn’t sure if anyone was going to love that color?

      1. Carol

Two thumbs up on that color!

  49. Julia

    Louis,

Can you give any us any information on the sneak peek sweater Brenda was wearing with the green turtleneck? QVC never gives you enough air time to present your items!

    Julia

    1. louis dell'olio

If you are referring to the long cardigan/coat it will be on PM Style on Halloween Oct 31st. I will post the sneak peek before then. It is made out of the faux Shetland yarn that I have used before….only this cardigan has 4 plies of yarn as opposed to 1 like the other styles.

      1. luvitorleaveit

That cardigan is beautiful and the colors; needless to say I will be ordering it as soon as it’s posted.

        1. louis dell'olio

It really is made beautifully…it’s not flimsy.

  50. Nan

I found there are a few of the byzantine drop earrings J267611 still available, but the qvc computer will only pull them up using the item number.

  51. Jackie

To Elle, be glad you received your coat albeit wrinkled. 282b My coats are STILL processing.

  52. Ellie

Hi Louis: I received my gorgeous red coat today. It was shipped balled up in a plastic bag. I’ll have to have it professionally pressed, or try to steam it myself. Is there any way you can prevail upon QVC to package such items better…a box, perhaps? The white coat is out for delivery tomorrow, I’ll try to steam them both, but i was not happy with the condition in which they were received. But the coats are SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ellie, first I am very happy you are pleased with the coat…….I forwarded your e-mail to my manufacturer and buyer. It is up to them how they want to handle this problem. If they decide to ship in boxes on hangers it will definitely add to the cost. That is not a decision I can make. My manufacturer can do it, but ultimately it is up to the buyers if they want to charge more for items packaged this way…..question….I understand that Dennis ships his coats on hangers in coat bags, and boxes….but what happens when someone returns his coats. Do the customers send them back in the boxes and garment bags etc. and how does QVC reship them. I would think this would be a very complicated and costly process for the customers.

      1. karan

I have bought five of your coats and four of them have survive the QVC shipping just fine. On the blog several others wrote about this same problem with the trench coat. I merely hung mine up in a steamy bathroom and the wrinkles disappeared. QVC could definitely do better on the shipping. The smaller bags work better than the large ones and wrinkled items are a common occurrence. Thank you so much for trying to keep the cost down.

        1. Grace

I’ve purchased 14 Linea coats/jackets (not including the 3 “in process”) and not once did I have a problem with how they were packaged. I really don’t need coats in this price range to arrive on hangers or special bags, especially if it adds to the price. If anything is wrinkled, it’s an easy solution–steam the item or take it to the dry cleaners. My only complaint with QVC shipping is the slow processing time. I seldom receive items before 10 days. But, these are issues QVC needs to solve, and not the designer!

          1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace…..I happen to agree with you. Dennis’s coats are bulky and need special handling. Don’t think you aren’t paying for the boxes, hangers ans garment bags which can easily add $8 to $10 the cost. It would be better to just have a dry cleaner press it, and if you get a return will you get the same packaging??

  53. Rosemarie Hanelin

2 questions – I’ve read on this blog about a restaurant that you often visit in NYC – I live in the SW but will be in NYC for my birthday and need a good restaurant!!
Second question, My Linea signature disk necklace is broken and I wanted to know where to send it for jewelry repair. Thank you! I bought 2 of the coats, in red and black and can’t wait to get them!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rosemarie…..it really depends what type of restaurant you are looking for and what location if that matters………….send the necklace to:

      Repairs Department
      C/O TCJC LLC
      3B Industrial Drive
      Smithfield, R.I. 02917

enclose a brief letter stating you are a Linea QVC customer, what you would like fixed. a check for $7.50 for return shipping your name and return address…..Let me know how it turns out.

      1. Rosemarie Hanelin

Italian food – anywhere close to Times Square. Thank you Louis! You are a gem!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Restaurant Row is 46th Street between 8th and 9th avenues. Jac and I always go to Orso which is very popular with the theater crowd, so it’s crowded before and after theater…….Becco is also on the same block and is opened by Lidia Bastianich, who has a cooking show on TV.. You can google them both. Make reservations early on.

          1. Rosemarie Hanelin

Thank you! I check them out – with your clothing, I will be NYC stylish!

          2. Rosemarie Hanelin

Thank you! I will check them out – with your clothing, I will be NYC stylish!

  54. Goldie76

There is something peculiar going on with the QVC listing of the Trapeze necklace (J331644). Although each metal option is described as “Waitlisted,” once you confirm your acceptance of the waitlisting terms and submit your order, the order pops up as “In Process.” When I discovered this yesterday and called QVC to ask whether my order was really being processed, I was told, “Yes, we have these in stock.” So, Grace, if you still want your “Silvertone” option, go for it! All other Linea Ladies who missed out should at least try for one. Of course I cannot guarantee that the stock is really there. I’m only as good as my info.

    1. luvitorleaveit

I thought the necklace was sold out that’s why all the colors were on waitlist. Fortunately I ordered the chocolate early and it arrived beautifully package and intact so I can’t wait to wear this beauty with my chocolate cuff and semi hoop earrings. Beautiful design Louis and so unique my review has been posted!

      1. Goldie76

I thought they were sold out, too, luv. That is why I was surprised to see the purchase came up as “in process.” Really confusing.

    2. Grace

Thanks, Goldie, for the heads up! I’m off now to snag my silvertone 🙂

      1. Goldie76

Grace, I hope these orders go through. Really, it is confounding to have a waitlisted item go to “in process” immediately. Don’t get me wrong, it is happy news, but it makes no sense in the usual QVC order of business.

        1. Grace

Goldie, I think you definitely have the magic touch, because it didn’t work for me. My necklace is in waitlist status, but I’m not giving up hope. In your case, I’m wondering if “check release” necklaces were coming back into the system and when you placed your order, one became available? I’ll also keep stalking the silvertone, but In the meantime, I’ll be grateful for my gold and black ones. Glad you scored all three! Enjoy 😉

          1. Goldie76

I just tried again and ended up with a waitlisted necklace (see my post to Kate). Wondering what will happen with the ones I have that are marked “in process.” Fearful that they will revert to waitlisted. Freaky, and it’s not even Friday. They even have a projected delivery date.

            1. Grace

Goldie, I hope your “in process” necklaces turn to “shipped” very soon and this is not a glitch. I really think you got lucky with perfect timing when you placed your order. You must have a lot of good karma working for you. You should get a lottery ticket right away 😉

    3. Beryl

Tried to get one but they’re all on wait list.

      1. Goldie76

        Beryl,

        1. Choose your metal selection.

        2. Hit “Add to Cart.”

        3. Click “Yes” when you are asked for “Waitlist Confirmation.”

        4. Your purchase will then be in process. It goes right to your total for you to click on “Checkout.”

        Hope it works for you!

        1. louis dell'olio

Goldie, I don’t understand this conversation??? The Trapeze necklace shows that it is completely sold out, and I was told it was. Are you saying that is not the case?

          1. Goldie76

Yes, Louis. I am totally confused by this myself. Yesterday I went to order and saw that “waitlist” described each metal option. So, I went ahead with my order, intending to see if I lucked out with my order. But after I clicked on “Yes” in response to the “Waitlist Confirmation,” my order went through and was ready for me to “Check Out” and “Submit.” Confused, I then went to my list of orders. It says — and still says — “In Process.” Still confused, I called QVC yesterday and asked if my order really was in process. She said yes, the item is in stock. That is all I know, and the situation is the same today. It seems too good to be true.

            1. Goldie76

Something is goofy because I did that trick we play to see how many of an items are in stock, and the inventory was infinite.

There must be a glitsch. Darn it! I thought you knew a sweet secret and that there were more found on a shelf or something.

        2. Goldie76

Your list of orders should have “In Process” as the status of your Trapeze necklace purchase. Mine did, and a rep at QVC told me yesterday that, yes indeedy, my purchases were being processed. As I wrote above, I cannot vouch that this is all true; I won’t know until I receive a Trapeze necklace. Very strange order process, that is all I can say.

    4. Beryl

Sorry goldie Good try but it didn’t work.

    5. Kate

Whatever it was is now “fixed” as I tried to order a second gold and the only option was waitlist. I placed the order and it didn’t go to process, but to “waitlist.”

      1. Goldie76

I just read your message and tried for another silvertone. No dice! It concluded as a waitlisted item.

Wonder what this means for the two I purchased yesterday that are still described as “in process.” Bet they are going to go to waitlist. Where is the magic?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s all a mystery. I ‘m glad I just design and I’m not responsible for all of this other stuff!

Louis Thank you for the wonderful clothes. I just love your shows and have purchased many items. I was just wondering and am almost afraid to ask but will you be bringing back your whisper knit pencil skirts. I have the walnut skirt with matching tights and it looks divine. I have some of your color block cardigans/tops and would love the skirts to match. Please let me know. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Claudia, I will be bringing black the pencil skirt. The colors will be Black, and the ne Scarlet Red and the new Heather Charcoal Grey which has tights to match. A heads up…..the tights are on clearance so if you want them now is the time to get them…The grey matches all,of my WK grey pieces…..I know they have been posted, but they aren’t released for purchasing, but they should be soon.

      1. Kate

Thanks for the reminder about the tights. I went ahead and ordered two of each of the remaining colors.

      2. Kate

I think the skirts will be posting very soon. On my phone I can see models wearing the new colors, but not able to order yet. Betting in the next few days. (Can’t see them on my desktop computer, though!)

      3. Claudia

Thank you, so kind of you to answer my question. I’m headed to the QVC website right now to order the tights. I will keep checking for the skirts. Take care and have a wonderful day!

Is there any news on your November shows? Or maybe a “make-up” show this month?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….All I know is the items that were stuck in shipping have been released. So I am hoping for a one hour show at the end of the month, but reshuffling schedules at QVC seems to be a major process. Fingers crossed.

      1. Beryl

Waiting for the poncho. Ordered coat in red and black.

      2. Joanne

        Hi Louis
Will QVC post your new stuff prior to a rescheduled show?

        1. louis dell'olio

          I have no idea

  57. Ruth

Dear Louis, Your shows yesterday were very enjoyable. I’m looking forward to receiving the coats I ordered.
I’ve been going through my collection of Architectural Digests to get rid of those that seem hopelessly outdated and keep any that have managed to stand the test of time. I’ve come across some ads from the 1980’s for fashions from Louis Dell Olio for Anne Klein and the clothes look as gorgeous and stylish as if they’d been designed today. You’re a master! Thanks so much for offering your designs on QVC. Ruth

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Ruth, I wish I had those ads, I saved very few of them.

      1. Ruth

I’d be happy to give them to you.

        1. louis dell'olio

That would be very nice of you. You can send them to Louis Dell’Olio, C/O Lai Apparel, 209 West 38th Street, NYC 10018, 9th floor…..PLEASE let me know how much it cost to send it to me and I would like to pay for the postage……much Love, Louis

          1. Ruth

It will be my pleasure to send them to you. I haven’t made my way though all of them yet. I’ll let you know when a package is on the way to you. Love to you too, Ruth

Hello, I enjoy your shows, your fashions are beautiful. I’ve been looking for a beret such as the models were wearing in your QVC shows today, 10/17. Do you offer them for sale, and how might I purchase them? I looked on the QVC website and they were not available there. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Marie, I do not sell berets on QVC. I have tried in the past to sell them but the buyers weren’t interested. I would suggest either going to stores like Macys, Lord and Taylors or going on line which I have done and google French Berets or just Berets. You will find all the berets you want in many colors. I will also say that I pick them up here and there. I bought the olive and grey berets in Paris in a very touristy shop…. where they sell mineatures of the Eiffle Tower….LOL

      1. Carol

Some of us have had good luck finding berets on Amazon and on ebay. Searched for “wool beret”.

  59. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Just thoroughly enjoy when a show is with Carolyn. Everything you put on her makes her look so great, it’s just fun to watch and her obvious excitment about it. And she is completely good natured and comfortable in her own skin. The enthusiasm is genuine. A little like enjoying watching a kid in a candy store. Did not get what I thought I would and instead came out of the shows with “my arms full” of the swing button front cardi, 3 of my favorite turtlenecks in 3 new colors, the criss cross trapeze necklace in goldtone (already got the lacquer black and the silvertone) AND the trench coat in British Tan. This should be a very versatile and fun Autumn “haul”. We moved this summer and now live in a colder clime – it’s been in the mid 20s at night for a while now – and I’m waiting somewhat impatiently – the kid looking through the candy store window – for the swing turtleneck. I’m loving how lusciously warm these wonderful ENR turtlenecks are. Have all 3 of last year’s and waiting for every new color 🙂 Thanks for the great Autumn line-up and wonderful to see Jac looking great again!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….I know Carolyn genuinely loves the clothes and knows how sophisticated she looks in the clothes. They suit her, and I have to say she looks great and she looks her best in the clothes.

Louis loved the shows as usual. Bought many lovely pieces. Which color in the leggings shown today works best with my aubergine WK, the wine or the raspberry? Can’ttell from the tv. Thanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

With the Aubergine the wine works best. Megan the new model with the short hair was wearing the Aubergine turtle neck the black swing cardigan and the wine tights in today’s show….she looked wonderful!

    Hi Louis,

Really enjoyed the show–just wish it had been the original two hours, but I’ll look forward to your return soon. I ordered the new hammered button coat yesterday in Scarlet Red, (at $99.00), but when I saw it was $79.00 this morning, I cancelled the first, and was able to reorder in the same color, so I’m a very happy camper. I also got the ponte knit boot pants in the dark umber, which I had let slip by when they were introduced; but which will go with so many things in the brownish range, as well as the other luscious colors of your things I have. There is no one else on QVC whose things fit or well, or look so elegant as you do. It’s a joy to wear your clothes. I look forward to the new things coming. I totally agree with so many others who can’t get enough of the beautiful items you produce.

I loved the look of the hammered button coat and the colors were fabulous-so well made and a chic look. I was not able to call QVC in time to get one but I do hope that you will do more?! Thanks so much for your talent and sense of style! Cynthia

    Hello,
I enjoyed your shows today. I was sad to see that the opaque tights are on clearance, so I guess that means they won’t be reordered. Your opaque tights are the best, as were the sheer tights. I was disappointed those weren’t reordered. I am being very careful with the pairs I own.
I ordered the white coat in the same size as the trench, but now I’m worried that you said during the show that it is a slimmer fit. Crossing my fingers that it fits!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I didn’t realize the tights were on clearance….I think that s a mistake too. Sometimes I don’t understand?
