Love the show, today! Thank you, thank you for the sneak peak of the sequin pants! Straight cut, lined and sequins, sequins, sequins! October cannot arrive soon enough. Both your shows were FABULOUS as always! oxoxoxo Cat

  2. Grace

Oh, Louis…those sequined pants!!!! Gorgeous. I have all those toppers, too. Will add the jewelry and I’m all set for the holidays 🙂

  3. Jen

Louis I just ordered the big deal in peacock. I love the length and of course the embroidery. You out did yourself on this one. I’m going back
for more items later. Keep up the great work!

  4. Melissa W

Wow Louis – Brenda looked smashing in the magenta dress and leather jacket!! I wished I looked good in that color. Now I think I have to get the black leather jacket to go over the forest green and black dresses I got. I also loved Chantal’s look with all black and the new lariat necklace. Sure hope this dress is reordered. It is the perfect dress!! I’d love it in blackberry.

Ordered the big deal in black and cranberry. Gorgeous!! Considering another color, maybe peacock. Loving the faceted necklaces too. Very pretty and versatile!

One more thing – when the rolling bangles came out I ordered all four finishes but only received silver and gunmetal. I stalked the Q and finally was able to order a gold. Then this morning there was a black one available so I grabbed it while I could. Yay!!

Looking forward to this afternoon’s shows!!

I posted on the QVC forums the sweater tunic (Item #A72849) with cowl neckline and embroidered front as something I’d purchased two of when it was first available (in black and in green).
Some of us are now wondering whether you might make it, or something very similar, available again. We especially adore the embroidery, and how it flatters the figure.
I wish I could include the image.
Here’s a link to the QVC former product page:

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela, I remember the sweater well. Unfortunately, we were in the minority. The sweater did not do well???. I don’t know if it was the emb down the front or the cowl. My cowl WK sweater from last fall only did fair also?

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

I am definitely one who uses and loves all of last year’s cowl sweater – all the colors. I’m so grateful to have it in my cold-weather arsenal.

    1. Seka

Such a great price for a gorgeous sweater – ordered Black, Dark Forest Green and Caramel!
      Seka.

  6. Irene

Louis, That rainbow you were blessed with truly is a “Magnificent Rainbow.” Thank you for sharing the photograph. We are looking forward to your upcoming shows.

  7. Chris S.

    Louis,
Will there be any new Linea Leisure items this season?
    Thank you!

    1. Judy M

Thanks for asking that Chris I was just wondering if there were any pieces coming for fall or is this line for spring?

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Only the cotton/rayon/span jean cut pant. I don’t think it has a Linea Leisure label but they are casual pants.

  8. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Happy Monday Louis! Can you tell me if the trouser socks will be returning in any new colors for the coming season? Thanks! Looking forward to your shows.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      No Nancy, since they did not swell out they were not reordered. Unfortunately that’s the way it goes :{

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

That is indeed sad. A shoulder injury has left me unable to pull tights up anymore and I was really in love with the trouser socks :[ Would have loved them in every color of the Linea rainbow. Of course I did get all the colors last year thankfully. Thanks for the swift reply Louis. I surely do appreciate it!

  9. Debbie M.

    Louis
FYI, I think the tights would sell better if the Q would post a size guide. Ladies are asking for it.

    1. Jackie

I don’t know how my post above about a size guide got posted with Debbie M name. But, the post is meant to be from me, Jackie.

  10. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

Since the Kate shirt has been dismissed will we see any other men’s wear inspired button down shirts? I know right now the wing collar shirt is available but wondered if we will have another option in the future?

    Hugs,
    Bernadette

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette…..I had a beautiful short sleeve one for spring summer but they passed on it. I will keep trying.

  11. Seka

Louis, Am trying to plan my purchases of Whisper Knits. The re-order of the WK Midi Skirt – is it possible to disclose colours (Charcoal Heather Gray I have but will likely get a backup) – do any of the colours match the BIG DEAL Sweater?
    Seka.

    1. Grace

I’d love to know the new colors, as well. Thanks for asking, Seka!

  12. Melissa W

    Louis,

How does the color of the new sage necklace compare to the triple strand celadon one from earlier this year? Yesterday I ordered the new plum and blue ones, as well as the Russian gold lariat. I’m trying to pace myself. 😊

  13. Dawn

    Hi Louis!

Quick question. Will the Forest green work with Spruce green?

    Thanks.

    Dawn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dawn…..I don’t know if I have anything left in spruce….give me some style numbers and I’ll check….off the top of my head I would say no, but I can’t be sure. They definitely are two different colors. I’l just not sure if they are compatible.

      1. Dawn

        Hi Louis,

A219791 & 219792. Looking to get a pair of pants to match the green jacket. The enamel on the buttons is a very dark green surrounded by the gold. I don’t care if the forest green pants are darker just as long as it stays in the same color family.

        Thanks for all you do!

        Dawn

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dawn….I do not have those samples to compare. I couldn’t even make a guess.

  14. Seka

    New Colours posted on Q.

A282506 WK V-Neck Sweater – Magenta, Malachite, Violet. No photos.

A267864 WK V-Neck Cardigan – Dark Purple – Mushroom. No photos.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Seka, I had so many requests for Malachite…………………here is is

      1. Seka

Louis, I have your Boucle Jacket A238159 in Malachite – and Ruby – both of these colours are so out of my comfort zone but they are beautiful – I wear them over Black or Linea Navy (my comfort zone.)
        Seka.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

They are really beautiful accent jackets….we all need the cherry on the top once in a while. Charcoal grey also looks great with those colors! I will have some fantastic Holiday jewelry that will look great with those jackets!

          1. Seka

Thank you, Louis. I love your Charcoal Grey as well!

      2. Rebecca

Louis, I can’t thank you enough for bringing us a MALACHITE sweater!! I am absolutely thrilled! I have one of the women asking for more malachite ever since you first brought it to us five years ago as it truly is THE perfect green. 🙂 I am also very interested in the magenta and the violet – all favorite colors for me and the colors I get the most compliments in. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

      3. Sheesh

Thank you, Louis. The Malachite WK is one of my absolute favorites. I bought everything that year you did the jewel tone colors! So happy to see it again!

        Sheila

  15. Angela

    Dear Louis,

I just received your new Peasant Blouse ( A343028 ) in orchid.
Ripped open the package – oh my gosh! – it is such a GORGEOUS print.
The fabric is dreamy! Fits like it was made just for me. I absolutely love it!
Just logged onto qvc.com to order the other colors.
Louis, you are a genius! Your creations fill up my walk-in closet and make getting
dressed such a pleasure because I know I will look “put together” and timeless no matter
whether I am going to work, running errands, etc.
Thank you for the new peasant blouse and all of your high standards of design, function, and fashion.
    You’re the best.
    With kind regards, Angela

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Angela…..I was so happy to read your review of the shadow floral blouse. I understand when you say how astonished you were when you opened the package to see in real life how beautiful this blouse actually is. The combination of the shadow print on this beautiful gossamer fabric is really perfect. I was a little disappointed that the true beauty of this blouse doesn’t translate 100% on TV or photos. It’s always nice to hear when someone opens a package the garment inside far exceeds their expectations. I know you will absolutely love the other colors! If you need ideas what to wear with them don’t hesitate, but I bet you already have plenty in your closet! Don’t forget to leave your review!

  16. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Louis, did I read you right? Are there new colors coming in the longer midi straight WK skirt? I THINK you said that CHGray was being reordered. Can you spill the beans yet on whether there will be more colors in that skirt and what they are going to be?

      1. beryl

        Yipee for WK midi skirts

      2. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Great news Louis! Living up here on the Maine/Canadian border, I wear those wonderful WK midi skirts from Sept to May. Usually with a Linea turtleneck or a Linea cowl neck. Thank you for bringing us gorgeous fashion we can be warm and toasty in while looking chic. I got 2 of the new lariat necklaces which is especially perfect with all your turtlenecks paired with the midis. Happy, happy 🙂

  17. Teri

I am at a loss as to what color in the shadow floral top would look best on me. It would help if I knew which of these prints would go with the upcoming magenta faux suede pants and which would go bestwith the olive faux suede. Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Teri……I don’t know where you read this, but the faux suede pant doesn’t come in these colors…..Black, caramel and forest green

  18. Chris S.

    Louis,
The new cardigan and tank remind me of the long open front cardigan and matching long tank. Are these the same weight and body shape as those two pieces? They were perfect in fit, including no gapping in the underarms which is usually a problem for me!
Navy and heather grey for sure for me. I’m trying to be good and only get 2, but how can I pass up the black?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris they are the same weight, and the mock neck is basically like the tank, but each new garment has it’s own fitting.

  19. Seka

FYI – The co-ordinating Big Deal Necklace J356989 is Posted on Q!
    Seka.

  20. Karen in WA

Louis, I am so anxious to know about the faux suede pants. Are there more colors than carmel?

  21. Seka

Louis, The New Colours for the Leather/Knit Jacket A297864 have been posted on Q. Dark Magenta, Caramel and Dark Oluve. But there are now photos. Would it be possible to post a Sneak Peek.
    Thank you.
    Seka.

    1. Seka

      Oops! There are NO photos.
      Seka.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t have them photographed yet, but think of the magenta dress, the caramel sweater, and every dk. olive I’ve done. The standardss are always the same. Due to the fact it’s leather the dept of color isn’t always the same, but the colors are very similar.

      1. Seka

Louis, Am thinking of getting the Dark Olive. I do have your Topper A302565 with the matching Pant & Tank in Dark Olive. Dark Olive works with so many other colours too – Black (my favourite) – the Berry colours – Linea Navy – Browns……..
        Seka.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Can’t go wrong….I will be showing the Dk. Magenta over the Magenta dress as a sneak peek on my 8/21 9pm QVC2 show….it’s the last item to look out for.

          1. Seka

            Will be watching!
            Seka.

  22. diane228

Ladies- Lariat necklaces are posted (with a picture)!

  23. Chris S.

Oh, I’m hoping the sleeves on the big deal sweater aren’t too long for me! I already have the beautiful black floral skirt and the black maxi skirt. I always need to turn back the sleeves on my sweaters and cardigans to make a cuff. It appears the embroidery comes close to the end of the sleeve leaving no room to shorten it. Is that correct?
    Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Chris, it’s pretty close. If there were a large space it would have looked unfinished.

      1. Chris S.

I still might give it a try. It is too beautiful to pass up, especially since I have the skirts.

  24. Anonymous

Good morning Louis! Have to ask…will those faux suede pants be full length? And petite?Thank you. And the Big Deal WOW!! Pamela in the SS

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Pam, they will come in petite too! They really are fabulous and I am in love with the caramel color……I’m going to have many other pieces that will coordinate with the caramel…the classic TN….a long cardigan in a novelty yarn…..and TWO OUTERWEAR PIECES….They look incredible layered.

      1. Enjay

Louis, my fingers are crossed that one of the caramel outerwear pieces will be the new longer trench coat! That might actually tempt me away from my usual black!

          1. Jane J.

Louis, Since the cat seems to be slowly coming out of the bag, can you give us a heads-up on the other colors of the long trench — red, caramel and ………????? I have the black, navy and olive in the shorter trench and have my fingers crossed for something like blackberry or even magenta ????

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Nope…..the buyers wanted BLACK, and there are many women who missed out on the short one. I did wine in the short one.

            2. Jane J.

Good morning, Louis, Thank you for responding. I can’t say I’m not disappointed. As a plus size (2x), I can’t see myself in a red or caramel long trench, so I guess it will be black for me.

Just saw the new sneak peeks for the WK separates –love them and that they’re in ENR. And, looking forward to seeing the Dark Magenta leather/knit jacket and the PORT LEATHER/KNIT combo TOPPER.

  25. Dawn

    Hi Louis!

The Port ponte bootcut legs have been posted. Are these the only Port pants that will be offered to coordinate with the new suit jacket? To date I have 6 pieces in the Port!

    Thanks for all you do.

    Dawn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes…..there is the WK pant in Port and the new Boot Cut. They didn’t want a third pant and I have to agree with them. I think these pants work really well with the new blazer. If you own Port tops and you get the Port pencil with the matching tights you will have a terrific little grouping, Plus there are more things coming in Port! As you can see it is a KEY COLOR to the Fall line.

      1. Dawn

        Hi Louis!

I thought the bootcut would be the only offering but had to make sure. Will order the pants now. I did get the WK pants last year in the Port. Already have the tunic, TN, scoop neck dress and reefer coat. The tights arrived a few days ago and look forward to the wk skirt.

        Thanks for all you do.

        Dawn

        1. Clothes horse

Dawn. Could you please post the number for the port tunic.I too have all the other items .Do love them all! Thanks for your help Patty

    Dear Fairfax,

May I offer a suggestion? There are several charities that accept donations of clothing, costume jewelry, and other accessories to give to women who are desperately in need of these items. They include women from poverty situations, single moms, battered women who are on their own for the first time, women who are reentering the workplace after the death of their spouse or after divorce, etc.

Over the years, I have given donations of clothes, costume jewelry, shoes, briefcases, purses, and etc. to a charity called Attitudes and Attire (https://www.attitudesandattire.org/). In addition to giving ladies clothing, they offer courses to help women get and keep jobs. I think they give the ladies two complete outfits to start. After that, women can get vouchers for more items for each additional class they take.

I remember that Stein Mart used to give customers discount coupons for donations of clothing the brought into the store. They went to a charity that distributed them to needy women who were going back to the workplace. I am sorry that I cannot remember the name of that charity. Maybe some of the other Linea Ladies remember the name of that charity or know of other ones as well.

    Just a thought.

    1. Fairfax

Thank you, Writer with Flair. What a good suggestion!! That’s what I am going to do. I will contact the site you provided today and get these items sent. Have a great day!

  27. Fairfax

    Linea Ladies,
I have several Linea pieces that I can’t wear. Many of them are multiples that I bought, and there are also some items I bought in different sizes when I was losing weight. Most of them have never been worn or worn only once. I would like to give them away. I want them to go to a good home 🙂 . I have several safari blouses in size Large. A few boho skirts in size XL, and some embroidered tunics (A253384) in size large. I have some wing collar blouses in 1X and XL. Private message me on my FB page (Victoria Smith Leak) and I will send them to you. I LOVE my Linea pieces. They are my favorite pieces and I am giving away the extras. My all time favorite is the pebble cope tunic (A213621). I have it it two sizes (XL and !X). I may give up the XL ones if I can find an olive, chili pepper, or brown one in a 1X. I search Ebay each day looking. If anyone has one they want to sell or give, let me know. Send your info to me and I’ll mail items to you. Thanks!! My closet needs room for more Linea!

    1. Dawn

      Fairfax,

What a nice thing for you to pass on your gently worn Linea.

      Dawn

    2. Anonymous

That is nice, but I didn’t think there was much of a difference in xl and 1x. What’s the difference? I have multiples too. However mine are L and Xl. Need though for fluctuations. 🙂

      1. Fairfax

I would be happy to send the L and XL tops to you. None of these have been worn They are my favorites, so I bought extras, and I am still wearing the first sets I bought. Private message your address and I’ll send them.

        1. Anonymous

I truly appreciate that Fairfax but I really am trying diligently to get back into my Large ones and would hate to deprive someone else of the pleasure of those items. I too have the smoke, chili pepper and olive then navy, white, black.missed khaki somehow. Bought all new boatnecks too.Thank you so much

  28. Melissa W

    Good Monday morning Louis!

I received a few Linea goodies this weekend. I have to rave about the WK dresses. These are sooo me! They fit perfectly, great sleeve length, just the right amount of swing…love!! I got the black and rich green. I hope this is a good seller because I’d love to see it come back in blackberry or port.

Also received the floral skirt in navy multi. Gorgeous!! Reminds me of a Monet painting. Such a beautiful print with layers and layers of colors.

The moss crepe maxi is the best “basic” black skirt. Such a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe. Now I need the assymetrical top to go with.

Looking forward to receiving my next deliveries…

  29. Lorraine

Can you tell me if there is a difference between wine and port in the super Ponte pants?

    1. Lorraine

Additionally, compare them to blackberry? Thanks!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Wine has more red and it a little lighter than the Port which is darker and has more brown. Look up the Port blazer coat it’s pretty accurate.

      1. Lorraine

Thank you so much for replying. I am compiling a Linea collection lately.

  30. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I think I’m going thru sneak peek withdrawal. Any chance we will see the big deal soon?

    😍😍😍

    Thank you,
    Bernadette

  31. Dawn

    Hi Louis,

You mentioned that you will have caramel pants. I have the Copper gauze crepe pieces and even though I could wear brown or black bottoms I would have loved he matching pants.

Will the caramel match the copper gauze?

    Thanks for all you do.

    Dawn

      1. Dawn

        Thanks for the reply!

  32. Pamela

Hi Louis! Happy Saturday! While organizing in closet this a.m.,decided to peruse your tops on qvc for matches to my new taupe bootcut SPP. Would the “greige”slub T with navy lace at shoulder match ? Or the cotton pullover with black sort of epulets? Thanks so much. Pamela in the HOT SS

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela….I no longer have those samples, so I couldn’t say, but hold on there is so much coming that will work with those very neutral taupe pants.

      1. Pamela

Wonderful! Oh they aren’t going anywhere! I love all of my ponte from Linea. Thank you

  33. Rochelle

I have a question about pants. I’d like to get some some petite ponte pants. I plan to order the navy straight leg but was wondering which would be more versatile, slim leg blackberry or straight leg in port. Thank you.

  34. Seka

    Louis,
Are there any new Whisper Knit Sweaters or Cardigans coming soon. You mentioned an open front shorter Cardigan – which I believe is in Whisper Knit.
    Seka.

  35. Rosemary Kazensky

Would love to see you whisper knit dress (midi) with a mock neck or turtleneck long sleeve.

    1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

      Me too !!!

Just now (1:00 PM Central Time) Katy Tur on MSNBC is wearing what looks like a pair of Louis Dell’Olio’s fish earrings.

  37. NJlady

Just received a341739, This top is a winner. So cool for right now and perfect for the Fall. I’ve already left a review on the boards. 37

    1. Beryl

I wrote that review not NJ Lady

    2. Amanda Barber

I am still waiting for mine, hopefully it will arrive today.

      1. Amanda Barber

I think mine got lost in the mail. Not an update on it for a week.

  38. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Louis, thank you for the wonderful new “novelty” necklace – really the new Byzantine necklace. I love it when a new piece brings to the front row a less-new Linea piece.
Besides the Byzantine pieces of some years back, I can count 10 other previous Linea necklaces which will harmonize beautifully with this new necklace! And I haven’t even BEGUN to seriously play yet!

  39. gapeach

I received the “Byzentine” Necklace Set yesterday and fell in love with it. I had thought when I first saw it, that I had some other sets that were similiar, so I could do without buying it. Then I read the “fare warning” you wrote on your blog, so I went back and looked closer at it, and decided that it could go with a lot of the tops I have. When I opened the box, I realized it shows better in person. Plus I found another necklace I have that is the same “Byzenine” style, so I have added that, and have an impressive group I am sure that I will wear often. Just another example of your design creativity that is not cost prohibitive.

  40. Kate

Shadow print blouse! LDO, this is so dreamy-gorgeous in the rose which is what I purchased. I love the length which is ideal for a 1/2 tuck into jeans which is how I like to wear tops these days. I also bought the new control top tights and even though its 100 degrees in the shade, tried on the port one. Great, rich, saturated color, but ever greater fit and tummy hold. Excited to buy the new matching WK skirt later this season.

Thank you, as always, for elegant but edgy clothes.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate….Are you going to get the Port WK pencil skirt in the reg or petite length? The shadow floral blouse looks outrageous under my new suit. I just got the samples and the blouse and suit look very Armani. When I did the Trench coat, Jac said I should do a suit in that fabric……For some it may be a little heavy, but they can wear it like they would a pea jacket as an outerwear piece. Jac thought the weight was like many Armani jackets she fit for him. It tailors incredibly and the suit looks like BIG $$$$$$$. By the way the suit jacket comes in PORT!

      1. Seka

Louis, The new Suit sounds fabulous! Is the Suit Jacket double breasted?
        Seka.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Seka, they just don’t sell well…This is a 3 button and it’s a beauty, because the tailoring is wonderful in that fabric.

          1. Seka

Louis, That’s great news! I actually prefer single breasted – and 3 buttons! When you mentioned pea jacket I usually think of double breasted. Looking forward to your Sneak Peek of this must have Suit – AND – the Long Trench Coat!
            Seka.

          2. Michelle

            Louis —

You had me at 3 buttons! Lol.

I can’t wait to play with all of your new jewelry, the jacket and all of the other new items coming are way. The new Byzantine necklace is, as my nieces like to say, a-mazing!

      2. Kate

L–now that you mention it, I will be getting both lengths. I have some new slouch boots that will look great with the shorter one. And, I will be getting that suit in any and all colors. I live in jeans, heeled boots and your suit jackets and blazers, so this sounds perfect. Guessing the suit won’t be out until October?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The suit will be out next month, Sept…..I have been working on outfits, and the black blazer [3 button] with the slate blue shadow floral and dark jeans look fantastic.

          1. Dawn

            Louis,

Can’t wait to see how you style the blazers. Love to see the Rose shadow blouse with the port jacket and port wk skirt.

            Thanks for all you do.

            Dawn

      3. LeefromMinnesota

Thank you for doing the suit jacket in Port! I have the reefer coat, tunic, pant and button front shirt in that color and I love them. Having a shorter topper is perfect. By the way, the new Byzantine jewelry set looks absolutely wonderful with my port pieces!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Lee you will be happy to know there are more pieces in WK coming in Port, plus don’t forget the control top tights in Port to complete so many looks!

          1. LeefromMinnesota

Very happy indeed! Thank you for letting Me know, I will make room in my closet! My port control top tights arrived this week (also got the black, a no brainer). Looking forward to autumn!

      4. Nancy

I have ordered the shadow floral in rose and I am trying to wait patiently for the whisper knit pencil skirts to go with my other Linea things. When do you think we can see a sneak peek?

I looked at Lord. & Taylor today and found it so discouraging to shop with everything jumbled together but no real “collection” like yours and nothing approaching your design elements and taste level, and the prices were unbelievable! You are a treasure and a gift to all women who are lucky enough to be able to buy your pieces. And I saw that your pieces show awareness of the trends in sleeve detail and embroidery for example, but yours are without question better than anything I saw out there. Thank you for everything you are, which is absolutely wonderful!

          1. Nancy

Enjoy your weekend! We will wait until you are ready and you find your camera!

  41. Alicia Hughes

Dear Louis, I received your new whisper knit swing dress today and I love it! Should I store the dress on a hanger or in a drawer? You may have addressed this when you presented the dress and I missed it.

    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Alicia the only way to hang a knit dress is to fold it in half and hang it over a hanger with a cross bar, padded is better. You can pad one yourself or get a cardboard tube, like the ones at the end of paper towels….slice it length wise and put it over the bar so you have a rounded surface to fold the dress over. Or else fold as little as possible and put in a draw or large plastic box.

      1. Alicia Hughes

        Dear Louis,
Thank you so much for your reply to my question. You are so thoughtful!
        Regards,
        Alicia

  42. Karen in WA

Did I dream this; or did you say you were having a jewelry show this month? Jayne was wearing the Lariat necklace yesterday, tell me I didn’t miss it, did I?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, you dreamed it….no jewelry shows coming up. Jane was probably wearing a model’s room sample. They should be avail soon.

  43. Faith Benghiat

Louis where can I get the Mardi Gras necklace? Ordered the dark blue one but want this one too!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Are you referring to the Carnival Necklace? The Mardi Gras came in one multi color combination. The Carnival came in 5 different colors. Those colors are sold out, but every once in a while a color pops up on the Linea jewelry site. I will be doing 4 new colors for fall and then new ones for next spring hopefully.

    2. Lynn H

As of Thurs, 11:45a ET, there’s a pink carnival necklace is available. If you want one, I’d suggest you check qvc.com on a regular basis for returns. I see them pop-up here & there.

      1. Lynn H

As of Thurs., 9:45pm, both fuchsia and turquoise Carnival necklaces are available on qvc.com.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t understand why they keep getting returned, the colors are so pretty, and they will go with so much of next spring…I’m not bringing them back, and I can guarantee someone will ask next spring if they are coming back!?

  44. Dawn

    Hi Louis,

I know you are busy putting together your fall/winter lineup and probably sneaking in some time to work on spring /summer ’19 designs.

I would like to make a request for a long topper ( reg & petite) like this past seasons Reefer coat (I own all 3!) or A257333. I love the silhouette of those toppers with slim pants or pencil skirts. I would love to see a version of that silhouette in the Chenille fabric you used with A218572. I would also love to see a dark green like you used in A219791 (Pucker/Plisse’ suit).

I hope I’m not asking too much, but I know you do take requests. Those toppers have got to rank in my all-time favorites.

    Thanks for all you do!
    Dawn

    1. Teri

A big yes to A219791, the cotton Ottoman knit suit. It is the best green, and that fabric gets softer and more flattering with the years I’ve lived iin it. I’ve worn the jackets, green and black, casually with everything, and the pencil skirts, green, black and grey, all seasons, even summer because they are cotton.

    2. Lynn H

I, too, love the silhouette of the above mentioned coats. Being new to Linea,I missed out on some of the ones mentioned, but did purchase A298054 (single breasted blazer coat)in both black and fawn. I feel so sophisticated when I wear them – such a classic look. Also, I like a length that covers my tunic tops. The ponte knit interests me, but not sure about a chenille, just my personal taste.

Thank you for all that you do – styling wise and everything else.
      Lynn H

      1. Chris S.

I totally agree with Lynn H. The “reefer coat” as you called it, A298054, was just what I had been looking for to cover tunic length tops. I wore my black one a great deal last fall and this spring. I am hoping for either a reorder of new colors or something similar. That coat is perfection!

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dawn…..you are actually right on time….Next Spring 2019 is done and I’m working on Fall of 2019….So I will give a lot of thought tom a topper…..They will only buy one in the fall assortment!

      1. Dawn

        Hi Louis!

Repeating myself that I love the silhouette of the longer jackets. I have the purple chenille jacket you did years ago and it’s a wonderful fabric. I can only dream that a new topper jacket /coat could be made in a similar fabric. The dark green color you used in the pucker suit ( I have the black and green!) would be such a great color for the holidays.

        Thanks for all you do!

        Dawn

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dawn….I thought that chenille fabric was a real find. I loved it, but we are in the minority. It didn’t sell well and eventually went on clearance. Same for the pucker suit. We both like designer fabrics. The more unusual the smaller the audience.

  45. Dear Louis
As my closet transforms into a vintage AK,AK2 and Linea wardrobe I am wishing your buyers would purchase a spring revival of your iconic traditional khaki safari jacket and a reorder of your so special denim jacket with the logo buttons in basic and new colors.
I waited all summer for a chance to add some new ones. Jackets are back if they were ever really gone!
Much love and many thanks. Patty

  46. Seka

Louis, you had mentioned that there is a Whisper Knit Skirt coming soon – in Regular and Petite lengths. Would you know what the length is for the Regular version – and also, what are the colour options, please.
    Seka.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

the pencil skirt is 25 inches for the reg. and will come in navy and port

      1. Seka

        Thank you, Louis.
        Seka.

      2. AZ Donna

I’m so happy this skirt is coming in Port! I ordered the tights in that color already! Thank you Louis for giving us easy to put together styles!

  47. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Louis, I understand about the “hand” of fabric in general. But what does it mean when a fabric is described as having a “dry” hand? You, and others here, have described the new moss crepe skirt and top set as having a “dry hand”. I’m clueless on the meaning of that. But I do know that set feels marvelous. I couldn’t resist getting the matching tops. Can you explain that term?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, the best way to describe a dry hand may be to describe the opposite. You know when some fabrics have a sort of slimy feel, almost wet. Some polyester fabrics feel that way. I personally can’t stand them. A dry hand is just that….dry to the feel, no sliminess at all. Good rayon or silk matte jerseys have a dry hand. The Moss Crepe, the Crepe Gauze and Pebble Crepe all have a dry hand. I hope this helps.

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

It helps very much! Thank you Louis for the explanation.

  48. Joanne

i was just looking at your schedule. Usually there are a couple of fall shows on QVC 1 where you show a lot of your new season clothing – sort of a runway show. When do you think that show will be? September or October?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne…..I have the BIG DEAL SHOWS on AUG 21st and 22nd. They always show a new item or two. A QVC1 show at 10am on the 29th. Then in Sept I have QVC1 shows on the 7th at 6:00pm, the 14th at 4:00am, and i think there is one other at 1am, but not sure of the date…..might be the 7th, but I haven’t gotten a confirmation.

  49. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I am a big fan of (A265615) Linea Knit Pull-On Slim Ankle pants. Are they being reordered? Most colors seem to be totally sold out. This fabric is dressier and lighter weight than the super ponte version.

You have already shared with us that (A298447)Linea Petite Super Ponte Slim Leg Pants as well as (A298446) Linea Regular Super Ponte Slim Leg Pants are both being brought back. I love those pants also.

I am looking forward to your Fall/Winter, 2018 Collection – especially Tuxedo with beaded and plain pants.

    Thank you

  50. Karen Ring

My husband truly likes the pieces I have purchased from you. I have purchased espresso pants and Teily wondering what colors to wear and or purchase from you. I am 5’3’. I wear s-med in most of your things. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Karen….I’m not sure I understand your question? Are you asking what to wear with your espresso pants?

      1. Karen

Yes , what colors do I wear with the espresso pants?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

KAREN….Think of espresso as you would black or navy…..It goes with everything! The espresso is very dark which makes it the perfect neutral. Honest;y I can’t think of a color that wouldn’t work with espresso!

          1. Karen

Thank you so very, very much in taking time in giving me an answer. Looking forward to the next viewings.

  51. Chris S.

    Hello,
I love the look of the new shadow print blouse and maxi skirt belted with that beautiful silk cord belt you showed. I have been searching on-line for a similar belt, but nothing I’ve found even begins to compare with the one you showed. Do you have a recommendation for a source?

Also, I noticed a 1 star review of the tights because no size chart was given. I know it was mentioned here to look at your other tights for a size chart. Maybe you could ask your buyers to have the size chart posted so the tights don’t get a low rating through no fault of yours.

On my way to a bridal shower decked out in Linea!

    1. julie

The tights reviewer said she “wanted to order” them, & “would like” to order but was “reluctant” to until there is a size chart. But she answered “yes” to the question “did you order & receive” this item?????

    2. Sheesh

Chris, I posted the Size Chart for the tights on the Q Linea Forum. I’m sure you can search for my post. It’s the same size chart as Louis’ other tights. You can also look at the chart if there are any other Linea hosiery pieces left in inventory. Hope that helps.

  52. Kat B.

Hi Louis. I think I know the answer to this question but it never hurts to ask…or beg! Is there anyway you (QVC) could bring back the Pompeii Station necklace set? Not too long ago I was able to snag one in the aqua color. Other then that, I was late to the Pompeii party. Rats! I simply adore this necklace and would buy one in every color if I could. And a really great idea for a new shipment would be to make the earrings with a colored disc on them to match the necklace. That way customers would be even more inclined to buy multiples as the earrings would all be different on each order. You could do the earring disc in the lighter of the two colors on the necklace so it would still be somewhat neutral…or, do it in the darker color. I don’t care, just do it! LOL!

    Thanks,
    Kat

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kat…..I would do it in a heart beat. It’s a fabulous necklace and doesn’t deserve to die on the vine. However they have such a small budget for the jewelry that I either bring in new or reorders. Usually, but not always, the reorders don’t sell out.We brought the bracelets and the Aztec necklace back but they are still here.

      1. Kat B.

Oh, dear Louis, I so appreciate your response. Who the heck other then YOU would do so in such a timely fashion…or even ever at all?? You are the REAL DEAL! Okay, I will love and wear the aqua necklace I was lucky enough to get. And now I will just look forward to even more lovely new designs to come from you. Thank you so very much.

        Kat

  53. Beth

Louis, I wanted to let you know what an excellent job your jewelry manufacturer did replating my Linea logo goldtone necklace. I sent it last month, it arrived in today’s mail and it looks terrific. They did such a wonderful job!! Please pass along to them my many thanks for a job very well done. It is such a nice service they provide and what an excellent job they did. I am very grateful to have this service, I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful designs and them for their excellent customer service!!

    Thank you so much.

    Beth

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beth, I will certainly let them know. Even when I did jewelry for Anne Klein they never provided this service.

  54. Grace

Louis, I’m a bit confused about sizing for the new WK dress. I saw the presentation this morning and was surprised to hear one of the models was wearing a medium. That’s the size I ordered yesterday, but she looks much smaller than I am! I also ordered a medium in last year’s WK dress and I notice the “click here” measurements are about the same for both dresses. Should I just stick with the medium or order up? Thanks, in advance.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

ABSOLUTELY stay with the med. Tynisa is bigger than you think…..it’s the dress that’s so slimming!…LOL!!

      1. Grace

Will do, Louis! Thanks. Says a lot about the magic of that dress!! lol

        1. Kate23

I will echo your magic comment. Whenever I wear the v neck WK dress I receive so many compliments about how beautiful I look in the dress. Men who have known me for years and rarely comment on my clothing, do tell me how great I look when I wear one these ‘magic’ dresses. It’s a combination of the cut of the dress and the weight of the fabric … it’s like I have no jiggly bits at all.

          1. Grace

Kate 23, I agree with you. Last year’s WK dress drapes so beautifully and that v-neck adds just enough classy sexiness to make it a wow dress. No “jiggly bits” show at all! I bought it in all three colors and it is by far the one dress I reach for the most. And, It’s my husband’s favorite, too 😉 I have a feeling Louis’ new version will be another well loved favorite. Get ready for more compliments!

  55. gapeach

Unfortunately, I didn’t really watch the presentation. I found out by bringing up QVC on my TV set. There was an information my cable company puts up about that specific channel’s current program. In that information, they list two brands that will be presented. Linea was the first one listed. I immediately went to my computer and ordered it on line. I think Leah who was the Host, If I remember correctly. I’m sorry I can’t provide more speific details

  56. Carol

Louis, the new jeans style pants are EVERYTHING. I almost didn’t order the black because I thought I already had too many black jeans. While I might now have too many black jeans, yours will not the the ones to go. The leg style is perfect for me, and the length, too.

I will write my review on QVC, too.

  57. CC

Louis such delightful new offerings. Have bought several several items. Was looking for a Linea Whisper cardigan in Navy—Oh My, there are no navy Linea cardigans available. Can’t believe it! Fingers crossed, will there be a Navy WK cardigan offered this Fall?

  58. wendee

Looking forward to the whisper knit dress. I would love to see the charcoal grey in a dress to match the tights. thanks

  59. gapeach

I just happened to walk in this afternoon, and tuned in QVC. It listed Linea as showing something, which turned out to be the Woven Top. I didn’t actually see the presentation, but it was listed for sale, (A341739) so I quickly got the Navy/Ivory. I love this pattern and color combination; can’t wait to get it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I had no idea this top was posted, and no one told me it was going to be shown! Do you know what show it was shown on because there isn’t a video?

      1. Amanda Barber

I got mine in the cypress!!! So excited.

      2. gapeach

It was yesterday late afternoon, early evening; I can’t remember exactly when. I believe it was with Leah, but to tell you the truth, I was so excited to order it, I didn’t take in the details. And I didn’t see the presentation; I saw by the information my cable company gives. It usually lists one or two presenters, and you came first. Sorry I can’t be any more specific.

  60. julie

Louis what kind of a dressy cardigan would you suggest to wear over the new WK dress? My sister is a petite plus & is attending an Oct wedding. She is special needs & I want her to have a nice outfit for the wedding. I was thinking the dark green dress would be pretty & comfortable & I already bought her your new tights in black. How can we dress it up? Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie, I have an open front short cardigan coming next month that would be perfect, but it doesn’t come in green. It comes in black which you could wear over the green, unless you want to switch the dress to black and then she would have a matching outfit. You can always dress it up with jewelry. I have some fabulous jewelry coming. Since she will be wearing the black tights….you really could do the black cardi over any color. It would even work over the Dark Magenta dress.

      1. julie

Thank you SO MUCH Louis!! I think the new black cardigan with the black tights will be perfect over either the green or magenta dress. I’m so happy to hear about the new short cardigan! I had in my mind something shorter would look good so now all I have to do it wait for QVC to post it! XO

  61. Norma Jean

My question is about the lovely large berets you include on your models when the weather is turning colder. My head is large and I find many berets are just too small.

Please: Where do you find your berets?

    Thanks ever so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

ebay….there is a Polish company I order from named JEDRZEJKO, but you should check the different companies for sizes. The Polish company has one size but great colors.

      1. kathleen alice sautter

Wonderful direction to try….appreciate your response.

  62. kate

    Not sure who Diane is!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Some of them very much…..they are very inexpensive. Makes me wonder about the quality. Do you own any? How are they?

      1. Diane

They are very inexpensive but I have to say the quality is pretty good. I have several pieces that are at least 5 years old and look great.

        1. kate

          Not sure who Diane is!
