I tried to leave reviews of the many items I have order the last two months. too many to list. I was only able to leave a review on one order for some reason and all the other orders just would not even have a place to click on. I was soooooo disappointed but will try again another day. Everything gets 5 stars …….!!!!!

Good morning Louis! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. I received the soft suiting separates in Port along with the tights. Everything is exquisite! The tights are so silky and comfortable, not strangling! I’m looking feorward to receiving the Maltese cross to complete the look. I purchased a pair of vionic pumps in a suede that look amazing and are a perfect match. I will leave my reviews today. I also received the Carmel big deal along with the blue faceted necklace. That color Carmel just spoke to me. I was nervous as I am blonde and I wasn’t sure it would be a good color for me. However, it looks stunning. All the pieces fit me so well in a size small. I’m 5’8 and the length of the skirt is perfect as well as the sweater! I just got back from San Francisco. My whole suitcase was Linea. Everything packed and wore so well. I purchased my first piece from you last December. So, I’m almost through my first full year of Linea! It’s so nice to go into the closet and pull out an amazing outfit because you have done the work for me. Love and thanks from a huge fan!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, I am very happy you are happy with the clothes. I don’t know why, but I thought you were a long time Linea Lady?

      1. Seka

Louis, You are thinking of Nancy (AKA TheOwl).
        SEKA.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Your right Seka. That’s exactly who i was thinking of. It nice to kn ow a new Linea Lady has joined the group…..Now Nancy has to sign off with the L so I know which Nancy I’m talking too….LOL

      2. Nancy law

Lol, usually my last name comes up. I don’t know why it didn’t this time. ANYWAY, I feel like an old timer now cause my wardrobe is shaping up! I retired as a nurse and didn’t have many “real clothes “. You got me looking good out of scrubs!

  3. Donna

    Hi Louis,
Just noticed that both the hooded version and scoop neck version of the cotton snap front tunics are on clearance which means they will no longer be available. I’m so bummed. I wear these tops/cardigans all the time and purchased every color that looks good on me plus doubles in black. The cotton rich fabrics are so comfortable to wear.
I love all your designs (and purchase them) but since I retired, I wear more leasure clothing than anything else. You have such a sophisticated take on “casual”. I hope you will continue to add to the Linea Leasure options (though I realize they may not be as interesting from a design perspective.) Thanks for being such a gracious listener.
    Donna from California

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Donna….since Jac and I both basically spent most of our time in leisure clothes I certainly understand the importance they play in everyone’s wardrobes. Unfortunately, that has not been the strongest area of my business as you can see by the clearance items. They both did well the first time around and were reordered, but which often happens, the second time around when they are reordered the sales are weak? I haven’t given up the ship, but it’s hard to find interesting fabrics. They are basically all variations of the same thing. Even the v-neck tee and the one with the gold and silver studs on the shoulders didn’t sell that well. Maybe it’s just the styles I’m offering????

      1. Nancy

Louis, I bought all your tees, along with the shorts and capris. The quality is AMAZING! They wash up and wear absolutely beautiful. It’s so nice to have quality tees that don’t have to be turned into dust rags by August. I hope you continue the leisure clothing as well. Also, I adore the Linea leisure pants they look and fit wonderfully.

        1. Teri

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the v neck tee.

      2. Carol in FL

Louis, I love your basic v-neck t-shirt! I purchased multiples. They are perfect for casual wear and going to the gym. I hope they return next year in navy!

        Carol

        1. Celia

          Dear Louis,

I have the pink, white, black and blue of the V-neck T-shirt. Just love them!

          Celia

        2. Louis Dell'Olio

Carol…..sorry to say they have not been reordered, which means they didn’t preform at a certain level to make them candidates.

          1. Carol in FL

Louis, I’m sorry to hear that they have not been ordered. They were perfect in every way. Another one of my favorites is A233944, the v-neck short sleeve whisper knit top that was part of the Fiesta collection. Would you please consider doing that same whisper knit top again in black for Spring 2019??? Thank you.

            Carol

  4. DEBORAH

Louis, I own A92305, a stretch crepe jacket that you did with satin trim…very tuxedo like. Would that jacket’s proportions/fit work with the upcoming tuxedo pant? The satin on the jacket is low lustre. It’s not the super shiny kind, which I appreciate. Not sure how it would go with the upcoming pant, but I’m like Melissa – being a Florida gal, I have to be judicious in how many jackets I own. In fact this jacket only gets worn a few times a year, so it is in great shape still. I’m not sure about getting another tuxedo-style jacket but I do need a trouser as the ones that I originally bought to match A92305 got too big. (Deborah a.k.a. Diamondscribe)
    https://www.qvc.com/Linea-by-Louis-DellOlio-Stretch-Crepe-Stand-Collar-Jacket.product.A92305.html?productNumber=A92305&sc=ISRC
P.S. I also want to complement you on the quality of your fabrics and dyes. This jacket still works with any new Linea black.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra….I wish I could be more help, but I can’t say if they would go….Blacks can vary. In your arsenal of black pants don’t you own one that works well enough? This new one may not be any better than what you own. If you own any of the trench coats with the black facings[ probably not living in Florida]. but the pant is the same fabric so you could compare the black facings with your jacket. The satin on the new tuxedo isn’t super shiny either. I think super shiny satin trims look inexpensive.

      1. Deborah

Louis, thank you for the reply. I actually did cave in and buy the trench coat, LOL. Got to wear it 3 times last Winter! And, it is worth it! I will compare them. I was asking about the pants because the matching pants I bought to go with the jacket no longer fit. I’ve lost about 60 pounds since I bought them. The jacket still works because I bought it – and kept it at the time even though it didn’t close. I wore it open (with a spread across the front, I confess). Now I wear it with the sleeves scrunched up and loose with a boyfriend jacket drape. I’ve been wearing it with jeans, but was hoping to find a trouser to work with it. I’ll have you know you probably will have this Florida girl buy the long trench this season… and pray for a few days cold weather…

  5. Melissa W

    Hi Louis!

I took advantage of easy pay today and ordered the leather and knit jacket in black. I am having to pace myself with all my Linea purchases, but am anxious to see the olive presented. If I get another, it’s going to be a tough choice between the olive and the caramel. Do you think the caramel would look good over the forest geeen dress? I’ve said it before, the magenta dress and jacket was absolutely stunning on Brenda, I wish that color looked good on me. Whoever gets that combo is going to look fabulous!

Anyway, I finally decided which colors of the new WK items to order. Such great pieces. I also ordered another shadow floral top. And the other day when you presented the lariat necklaces, I ordered the silver before it sold out and the copper. Already have the gold and thought that would be enough, but I just loved how it was styled with the outfits you showed so had to get the other colors.

As you know, I’m in Florida, so can’t get all the lovely cooler weather pieces you offer, but I can’t wait for that blazer. Am afraid to see what else you have to offer this season…

Anyway, hope you have a nice weekend. 😊

    Melissa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Melissa….what part of Florida do you live? To answer your question….Yes, the Caramel will look stunning over the Forest Green dress…..just add the new Caramel Carnival necklace to pull it all together. I think???? it will be avail for my Sept 13th or 14th shows.. If you have a scarf in forest and caramel, a very classic scarf color combination, that will work too……The blazer is fantastic! it is made and tailored superbly! Don’t forget the black pant that matches the blazer has DOUBLE DUTY. It matches the suit jacket and it is the same fabric as the TUXEDO. You may want to get the entire suit in Mushroom and just the pant in black if you are considering the Tuxedo jacket…..or the black pant and the Port blazer that already goes with so much including the shadow florals and the soft floral long skirt!….So many decisions!

      1. Melissa W

Thanks for responding Louis! I live near Tampa, if you know where that is.

How could I forget about the caramel carnival necklace? That or a scarf and the caramel jacket with the green dress…yep, I’m going to need that caramel jacket.

Gosh, you are giving me so many options with all of the new upcoming jackets and pants. Considering they coordinate with so many things, I know I will most likely end up with them all. Black, tuxedo, mushroom, port…I’m going to need another closet.

I also can’t wait for the sequin pants, just have to keep the dogs from jumping on me!

Thanks for all your beautiful designs!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I know Tampa well even though I’ve never been there. My brother went to Tampa University many many years ago. Also isn’t HSN in Tampa? Melissa….you live in Florida you don’t need so many blazers. Pick one blazer and the Tuxedo……and walk away….LOL

          1. Melissa W

Ahh Louis. Thank you for trying to talk some sense into me. I don’t need all the colors of the blazer. But I have such a hard time not buying multiples of your items! I will narrow my decision down somehow.

So neat that your brother went to Tampa University. I went to the University of South Florida in Tampa. (Still don’t understand why they call it south Florida as its only mid-Florida). Anyway, I think HSN is in St. Petersburg which is considered to be in the Tampa Bay Area.

Well, off to do some yardwork before it gets unbearably hot.

            Thanks again!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Melissa…I will tell you what Jac used to say to me when I over indulged!…..”take yourself in hand”…LOL

  6. Andrea

Will there be a reorder on the black control top tights? They sold out immediately.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea…..not this year, not to my knowledge…..I’ll ask, but askin’ ain’t gettin’…..LOL….I didn’t even know the black was sold out

      1. Andrea

I snagged a pair this a.m. Now they are on waitlist.

  7. Andrea

The black control top tights are sold out. Will they be reordered?

  8. Andrea

Louis, I am saving my shekels for the red coat (I have so much red I do a red wash) but I did get your jean style pants in black, and going back for navy. Great fit and I’m not an easy fit (can not wear petites because the rise is too short.

The black control top tights sold out quickly. I hesitated and they sold out. Will black be back. Got Navy.

  9. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

I discovered this multi-strand necklace on eBay, and I believe that it bears a strong resemblance to your Linea Byzantine jewelry collection. So do some of the other Linea Ladies. Could it be the grandmother of all our beautiful Byzantine beauties? Is there a remote possibility that you could reproduce this for us? I, for one, would be ever so grateful.

Thank you in advance for taking this thought into consideration.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/ANNE-KLEIN-VINTAGE-COUTURE-GILT-BRUSHED-GOLD-TONE-20-CHAINS-JEWELED-NECKLACE/173472463330?hash=item2863c3b9e2:g:NvoAAOSwcjhawpFO:sc:USPSPriority!22033!US!-1

    Byzantinely yours,

    Goldie76

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie I remember this necklace very well, and you are all very astute……it was part of my Byzantine collection about 1989-90. Each of the color stations were double sided. This was an extremely labor intensive piece to make, and it was made in R.I. USA!. I think it retailed for about $200. If I even attempted to make it today it could never be 20 strands, maybe not even 10. I’d have to speak to my jewelry company and see if they think it’s even a possibility. I can tell you IMHO is well worth the money for what it is. I know some women don’t understand spending that much money on Fashion jewelry, but it was made like real. If this was a vintage Chanel piece it would probably be about $1500.

      1. Goldie76

        Dear Louis,

Thank you for such a rapid response. (I’ve been checking because I was anxiously awaiting your answer.) Aha, it was your baby! We Linea Ladies had a hunch it was. How else could it look so much like our gorgeous Byzantine pieces?

As for not valuing fashion jewelry, that certainly isn’t me. I’ve always been fonder of my fashion jewelry than my real — something that my dear mother could never understand.

You know, I would be interested in this necklace with even half the strands or fewer than that. I have torsades that have eight strands. But JustJazzMom and I hope for the length to be preserved; we do not want it longer.

If you can cost it and get a green light, that would be fabulous. What a great holiday piece for next year! Thank you so much for thinking about this request.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie…this was meant to be a torsade and wouldn’t look as important as a single long strand. I looked at the ebay Anne Klein Couture Jewelry site, and it amazes me how many, actually the majority of pieces that the sellers claim to be Couture are NOT. I never did any Lion jewelry on the Couture collection. That was relegated to Anne Klein 11. The very expensive pieces are Couture and some of the earrings are Couture. I counted 6 or 7 true Couture pieces….the rest are not.

          1. Goldie76

Thank you for the “low-down” on what is Anne Klein Couture and what is not on the eBay site. Fair warning for all of us.

Honestly, if nearly $400 were a reasonable amount for me to spend on this glorious piece, I would just go ahead a buy it. However, it would be ludicrous for me to make such a hefty purchase.

And yes, I would prefer that the possible remake of this necklace align as much with this original as possible, i.e., be a torsade rather than a long necklace. Fingers crossed.

      2. Amanda

What a beautiful piece of artwork, I love your description and story behind it. Some lucky lady will buy it.

  10. Romy

Hello Louis, I was wondering if you thought the gauze crepe swing shirt with black sequins, A302599, would look good with your new black sequin pants? Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Romy…..absolutely! When I was showing the black shirt i mentioned the black sequin pants to come and how fabulous they would look together for any special occasion any time of year.

      1. Romy

Thank you Louis, I’m looking forward it!

  11. Pepper

    Hello Louis
I have ordered your new pencil skirt in reg XS because it wasn’t available in xxs can you tell me did it sell out or was it just not offered in xxs reg?
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pepper….it sold out….they order the fewest quantities in the xxs and the 3x. It’s a curve then the next fewest is xs and 2x.etxc.etc., so those sizes, though not always, sell out first.

      1. Pepper

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I will continue to stalk for the rare return in both lengths.

  12. Seka

FYI – The Q is offering 5 Easy Pays on Everything Today!
    Seka.

  13. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

Let me start out with apologizing. I know you have most likely answered these questions but my memory isn’t what it used to be especially after a long stressful week. I’m trying to plan my purchases…

First… I love the dark forest green outfit Brenda was wearing during your big deal presentation. She had on the pants, turtleneck, aqua shirt, and a cardigan. I bought the pants and shirt and I am awaiting the cardi. What other colors will we see in the cardi?

I believe you had also said the long whisper knit skirt is coming in hcg and dark forest green, correct? Will it come in petites?

I tend to buy the Kate shirts one size larger for movement and so I can tie the ends when wearing the boho skirts with them. So… for Brenda’s outfit if you were to belt the shirt and didn’t have a green belt what color belt would you use?

I love the new mock neck and cardi combos!!! I’m waiting on my skirts😀

    Hugs,
    Bernadette 🤗

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette, I’ll answer your questions in order:
1-The cardigan will be avail in Dk. Forest Green, Black and Caramel…..all to go with WK T Necks and faux suede pants
2-The long WK skirt will be in Black [new], Dark Forest Green [new] and Heather Charcoal Grey. Since this is a reorder, and it was not originally sold in petites, and the buy isn’t big, it will not be offered in petites. Maybe if it sells well I can get petites for the next time.
3-What color belt is a tough one! Again, it’s time to PLAY. There is no right or wrong color. I would try to have the belt color work with the accessories. Also, a metal belt like a chain belt in Gunmetal might work too. Check out ebay for metal belts and “Designer Belts”.
Glad to hear you like the new cardigans and mock necks. Please don’t forget to leave your reviews on the form and the Linea Fashion site. It is important, and there aren’t many reviews in general, for any of the new fall things. It does help me to hear customers opinions…..good and bad.

      1. Bernadette

Thank you Louis. I will add my reviews. I even bought port shoes. I hope they are similar in color to the tights and skirt. And I really can’t wait to see the Maltese necklace. The sage necklace is so pretty. I want to wear it with everything!!!😀

I hope you have a terrific Labor Day holiday. We expect rain here in Houston. Hot and muggy with rain. How is that possible??? Lol. And all I want to do is buy sweaters!!!. Hopefully by Halloween we will be in the 70’s. Fingers crossed!!!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not so nice here in CT either so don’t feel badly. I’m sorry for all the summer renters who have a lousy last weekend! I’m working on the shows so I’m inside anyway!!

  14. FRANCES MORTON

Louis, why do the A309320 pants not come in a size 4? They skip from 2 to 6 and the ones that are sold out have an X. This is true of all colors. I want to buy the pants but need the size 4.

    Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Frances, they did come in size 4 so they must be sold out. You can see that the petites come in size 4. The don’t buy that many of sizes 2, 4, 6 1x, 2x and 3x. The biggest buy is in the 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18. Sorry they weren’t avail for you. I’m pretty sure they will reorder for Jan or Feb, at least I hope so.

  15. Pratt

Hi Louis, do you know when the trench coat is going to be presented? I am afraid I might miss it as I ll be traveling out of the country between September 7th and 23rd with limited internet access. I really hope I don’t miss it.

      1. Pratt

        Yayyy, thank you 😊
So many items to look forward to this fall.

  16. Beryl

    Louis,
Will we be seeing WK Midi skirts.

    1. Seka

Beryl, If I may respond, this WK Midi Skirt A297627 will be coming back as a re-order for the Heathered Chacoal Gray – and two new colours – Black and Dark Forest Green. If you recall, last year Blackberry was offered. I am already checking daily to see if the Q has posted it.
      Seka.

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Seka please keep us posted. I too have the Heather Grey and the blackberry. Have the previous version but different Q # and no hem slit. They came in nutmeg, petrol blue and blackberry

        1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Oops. Darn auto correct. “petrol blue and black”

      2. kathleen alice sautter

Thanks Seka I’ll start watching. Love those skirts.

    2. Beryl

      Seka,
Don’t know my reply ended up under Kathleen’s name but I’ll keep watching.
      Thanks

  17. Sylvia

    Maltese cross necklace now posted!!!

    1. Bernadette

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just sat for the first time today. Plus I had a monster commute in to work – almost 2 hours!!! Ugh

  18. Deborah (Diamondscribe)

Louis, I just received the whisper knit side-slit tunic yesterday in smoky iris. What a beautiful color! Deborah

  19. Lynn H

FINALLY – J357132 The Maltese Cross Necklace set is posted!!! (2:55pm ET).

    1. Pamela

Yay!!! I can sleep before midnight tonight. Got mine …ordered at least. 😌😀 Pamela in the sunny south.

  20. Tricia

A heads up to all. I just was able to order the harp necklace. It is now posted. I had gotten the. 72 inch novelty necklace to go with it …I was getting concerned it would not get posted before I had my 2nd hip surgery …I must get busy and post review as I haven’t done so in ages. LOT to do!!!!!!

    1. Grace

Good luck with your surgery, Tricia.

  21. luvitorleaveit

Louis thank you for the shorter skirts! I received the port and navy love the strip down the back leading to the slit very sophisticated; also the navy, port and heather grey cardigan and they are wonderful and what a steal for the quality excellent! I also received the embroidery sweater which I decide on the black at the last minute when I saw it on Leah and it is equally as beautiful and the embroidery alone is so expensive looking. Waiting on my navy, port, and heather grey mock necks and some other items. I am so ready for fall and having so much fun mixing and matching with my older WK pieces especially the long duster cardigan that I have in the black and red. The weight of the WK pieces is perfect for layering without that bulky look.

  22. Seka

Louis, You have 2 one-hour Shows on QVC1 on Sept. 7th. Do you know if your beautiful new Suit will be presented during one of these Shows?
    Seka.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have NO IDEA, and won’t know until I get the scripts….I will also be on the 7:00am Morning show with a PP. Power Promo….just found this out!

  23. Teri

I have to say, the jacket you wore in today’s show is the most scrumptious blueC. You looked great in it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Teri….it’s a Linen blazer. That brighter blue is very popular in men’s wear right now.

  24. Tylerpoo

Louis, enjoyed the show today!! Will the Big Deal leather topper come in Navy, what other colors, sleeve length? Is the length similar to the crepe gauze topper? Please tease us just a little!

      1. Debby

Big Deal leather topper? when?could you us more info on it, is there a sneak peak on any model???? Already ordered the navy skirt – do they match? Thank you for your elegant clothing!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Debby….the colors blend….you can never get leather and fabric to match exactly, but they are the same navy.

          1. Debby

Will the shape of the topper be the similar to any other of your silhouettes? Can”t wait Thanks

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Only from years past. It’s A-line, and either finger tip or longer…don’t remember…..

            2. debby

I think that i had that one! Will the leather be real to faux?

            3. Debby

All I can say is WOW !!!!!

  25. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. I went out of my Black comfort zone and got the Dark Forest Green Ponte Pants. I could not get the Big Deal as my arms are too short! Will there be a Dark Forest Green WK SS crew sweater or T-neck or something in Dark Forest Green to give me a column of color to wear under my Alabaster Leather Jacket. I know you have a Dark Forest Green Topper coming (which I’ll get)—but I’m looking for that “underneath” piece.

Great show today! I recorded it and watched when I got home from an appointment.
    Thanks.

    1. Bernadette

      Hi Sheesh,

Ditto for me on the pants and the big deal. My arms would disappear 😂

I too can’t wait for the topper and the leather jacket. I did order the aqua Kate shirt as Louis showed it on the show a few days ago along with the green big deal necklace. I can’t wait to wear the whole outfit. The necklace arrived today. Stunning. Now if only the pants and shirt will hurry along. 😁😁😁

Thank you Louis for all you do and for all of the lessons you give on fabric and styling. You ROCK!!!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Sheesh….there are no short sleeve sweaters, but the classic TN will be in Forest green to complete your outfits.

  26. Joanna Pagano

Louis – I missed your show today on the Q, and missed ordering your super ponte knit pants (A 268216) in the Smoke in size 8. I just looked tonight and they are gone already!! I have waited a year for these to come back – and I can’t believe I have missed the chance to order. Are the smoke pants coming back in again this year? These are the most wonderful pants, ever. I have them in other colors from last year, but, don’t have the smoke – a must for my wardrobe!

    1. Anonymous

Joanna, I am going to interject here and give you a kind word of advice to not wait until the show to order–especially if you have the pants already and you know you want another color. The new colors have been available for a good 10 days now. That said, I’m not sure if Smoke was reordered though, and may have already been sold out.

      1. Joanna Pagano

I have been looking once a week (approx) for a year…I just didn’t look the last 2 or 3 days – I just can’t believe they are gone. They must not have ordered that many for them to sell out so fast in my size. I am beyond ticked off!

        1. Anonymous

Joanna, I taped the show and just watched it again. The Smoke pants were only available in Regular Sizes 22, 24 and 28. They were not reordered and that’s all they had. No Petites and no other sizes in Regular than those 3 I just listed. I know that doesn’t make you feel any better, but you did not miss your size in Smoke today—they just weren’t there!

          1. Joanna Pagano

Well..thanks for the info. It does make me feel a teeny bit better, knowing that I didn’t miss anything…still…sure would love to have that color. Oh well…

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne, the smoke pant is a year old. I showed it last year with the smoke cowl neck swing WK sweater. Sorry you missed it! It wasn’t reordered because it was a slow seller. I guess you just never noticed it?

      1. Joanna Pagano

You are right – never saw that color for some reason…it might have been added after I bought the other colors, as it wasn’t there the first time around, then I never went back to check. I am so mad at myself!!! Lesson learned. They are the best pants, ever, though…just love them.

  27. Pamela

Hi Louis! LOL at the camera comment. Looks like there are a lot of us longing for the new necklace. Meanwhile, I love my whisper knit pants. And although I do not have any HCG, I really long for that color as well. Do you think the new HCG cardi and mock neck would go with the steel gray slim ponte pants? Grays are so different and hard for me to coordinate sometimes. Thanks Louis. Pamela in the SS

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela, even though Mary Beth said they do go…they do NOT….but I will have the straight leg Super Ponte pant in the HCG that matches perfectly coming in Nov. I know that’s a long way off, but since it is a reorder they usually post the reorder colors as soon as they get processed into the warehouse….so expect them earlier. Check at the end of each week at the end of Sept.

      1. Pamela

Thanks so much Louis. Yes ,I agree on those smoke pants that MBR referenced, but I was actually referring to the slim leg STEEL GRAY like the blackberry style. But…no matter, I would rather wait until November for the exact match.

      2. Ruth

        Dear Louis,
I’m glad to hear that the straight leg Super Ponte Pants are coming back. I’m wondering whether the slim leg Super Ponte Pants are also coming back. Great show! Ruth

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, they are…..I had said I didn’t think so but I was wrong. I have never in all the 18 years at the Q had so many reorder pants!

          1. Ruth

This is a great pant and has an important place in my wardrobe. Can you share what new colors might be coming?

  28. Grace

Great show today, Louis! I have a question about the re-ordered WK midi skirt in HCG. Is it the same shade of HCG as the vintage one? I thought I read somewhere that the re-ordered one is referred to as “dark” HCG.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

same color….you have it already….I don’t know why the names are varied, but I only use one Heather Charcoal Grey.

      1. Grace

Thank you–I was hoping you’d say that! I wound up purchasing the three WK separates pieces, plus matching tights, in the HCG, navy & port. Couldn’t resist after seeing them on the show today. And, the cardigan is longer than I’d expected. Also…Goldie’s excellent review in the forum was very compelling!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace don’t forget all the models were wearing xxs, so your medium size? will even be longer.

          1. Grace

Oh, good point! And, you surely have a great memory, Louis! I can’t recall what I ate for breakfast some days lol

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Oh, I never remember what I ate for breakfast. Jac always said the only things you remember pertain to fashion or your line. Sometimes she would say, do you remember this or that, and I was a blank! Then she would say, “sometimes I think I’m in this by myself”. I new she was kidding me, but sometimes I think she meant it. I felt badly when I couldn’t share those memories with her. Now so many of them are gone, and I don’t have Jac to remind of so many of the good times we had.

            2. Grace

Dear Louis, I know the feeling only from my experience of losing parents who took all the stories & so many memories with them. My dear husband rarely remembers anything as I do and ditto for me, especially as we’ve aged. I am humbled, as I think we all are, by the love you share with your beloved Jac. Your memories of all the good times are uniquely yours and may even change over time, but the love is what always remains. I do believe that’s true for all of us.

  29. JBCinSD

Louis, are the whisper knit pants coming in new colors (and petite)?

    Beautiful show today.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….I keep trying but they simply do not do well. The returns are very high…..Many women who buy them don’t even realize that they are sweater knit and return. I have now tried 5, definitely 4 times with these pants…..WE are in the MINORITY…..I think they are such a natural to go with all the matching tops, but they are all still avail. in every size.I used to do them at AK and they always sold well.

      1. JBCinSD

I have three pairs in port and four in black. I wore them all winter and cannot recommend them highly enough.

        1. Grace

          LOVE my WK pants.

      2. Jane J.

I love my WK pants (have many), but I think what you said is exactly the problem — that many women who buy them don’t even realize that they are sweater knit and return them. It may be a moot point since they won’t be coming back — but I think a LOT more time needs to be spent during the presentations showing exactly what WK pants are. We Linea ladies, of course, know, but since these are not a commonly available pant fabrication, new customers wouldn’t know and need to be clearly shown so they can make a more informed purchase decision and avoid the returns. Just my humble opinion (for what that’s worth!).

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane…..I can talk till I blue in the face and some women still don’t hear. I always love the quote, “not what I was expecting”. What were they expecting out of a WK ENR pant, [in the heavier weight I might add]…PONTE?????LOL

          1. Jane J.

Yes, Louis, I’m laughing here — you are right! Sometimes people just don’t (won’t) hear or hear what they want no matter how much explanation is given. It’s too bad because then the rest of us are out of luck.

            1. April

Famous Ed Koch quote: “I can EXPLAIN it to you, but I can’t make you UNDERSTAND it.”

  30. Anonymous

Not kidding.if i miss getting that Maltese piece after wasting so much time checking for it and still nothing…i have purchased my last QVC item.Sorry. not sorry

    1. Karen in WA

Dear Annie Mouse, I “feel” the same way. I won’t follow through, but I feel like screaming. We Linea Ladies are spoiled for sure.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Anonymous….it hasn’t been posted yet. I think elephants give birth quicker then they can post a piece of jewelry. I’m told it just needs to be photographed….GIVE ME THE CAMERA!!!!

      1. Bernadette

I tried to check today but it was crazy busy at work. I’m glad to hear I didn’t miss it. Not to complain but babysitting the Q is becoming tiresome!!!

  31. Seka

Louis, Will you be showing any Sneak Peeks tomorrow during your 10:00 a.m. Show?
    Seka.

  32. Judi

Oh, happy day! I’m so glad I follow your suggestions about “playing” with your clothes.
I found that the caramel shade in the gorgeous “rose” shadow placement print blouse is a perfect match to the “copper” color in the crepe gauze topper/duster.
It will be a perfect outfit for a dinner on the water as an end of summer getaway.
Because of the length of the topper do you think it works better with pants than the black maxi skirt?
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Judi…yes topper would only work with a skirt if you wore boots. but best with pants

  33. Joanne

    Hello Louis,
when will the sequin pants are going to be available? Also are they sequined both front and back or just the front. I am anxiously awaiting for them to become available. I saw the sneak peek with the top that was paired with it but I am very short and that top would be a bite overwhelming on me so what would you suggest to pair with the pant? I just love your clothes and always get compliments on everything that I wear. Love your jewelry too but you have to be quick to get them because they sell out so quickly

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne, My pants are fully covered in tiny sequins, front and back! Do they really make sequin pants with just the front sequined???? Joanne, you have to think of these pants as just a pair of dressy black pants, not sequin pants. If you were going out to a wedding or a Christmas part, what top would you put with the black pants? I am sure anything you choose will work….from a white cotton wing collar shirt to a black Whisper knit sweater to an ivory blouse. Add some beautiful jewelry and voila….glamorous! Carol is going to wear hers with a black velvet blazer that she owns. I know when you start to play and pull random things you own you will see you already own tons of things that will be perfect with pair of sequin pants. I would bet you already own an ivory blouse and a black cardigan!

      1. Somersault

Louis, thank you for confirming my attitude on the black sequin pants! One of the options for me is your black Chanel jacket trimmed in pearls that I will wear with the sequin pants and two stands of your pearls. Of course, the white winged shirt or a black turtleneck, so many options! oxoxoxo Cat

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The pearl and ribbon trim jacket will look great with the sequin pants.

          1. Dawn

            Hi Louis!

Never thought of pairing the pearl ribbon jacket with the sequin pants. Thanks for another great idea.

            Dawn

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dawn….I have three words for you…………..PLAY……PLAY……PLAY!………….It’s fun to play….like dress up!

  34. Jen

Louis, After I bought the big deal I went back and bought the Linea leisure pants in cypress and the WK short cardigan in the charcoal grey. The cardigan will go with the charcoal grey boot cut pants I already own, Those are my go to fall and winter pants. You can’t wear them out and they do not pill. I just can’t say enough about the items you bring us. I finally feel like my wardrobe is growing in a way that all the pieces work back to each other. It’s all thanks to you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jen….That’s my idea…so there are no wholes or gaps in anyone’s wardrobe if they buy coordinating pieces and then add accents to liven it up.

      1. Jen

Thank you also Louis for the shorter length in the new WK cardigan. I own sweaters of yours that are long but sometimes I just have a need for shorter length items. I know I will have to go back for the black also. Have a great day!

  35. Barbara C.

    Hello Louis,

Is the WK pencil skirt different at all from the one that was offered several years ago? Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It has 2 narrow tubular strips down the back creating a bottom slit like the long version. I also think it may be a little longer since we are offering a petite length.

      1. Debra

        Dear Louis,

I am so excited about the separates and the new skirts. I am 5’6 and hoping that they will end below the knee.

I have already ordered both, matching cardigans, three colors of the tights, and three colors of the mock neck sleeveless top.

        woohoo!!! work wardrobe.

        thanks so very much,
        Debra

  36. Barbara C

    Hello Louis,

Is the WK pencil skirt different at all from the one that was offered several years ago? Thank you.

  37. Bernadette

Will they ever post the Maltese necklace??? 😔😔😔

    1. Pamela

I know right! Wearing my little fingers out checking. LOL. Pamela in the SS

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette, that’s what I keep masking. It has been sitting there for weeks! I do believe it will be posted for my show on the 29th or there will be hell to pay….LOL, like anyone listens to me!

      1. Seka

We do Louis! The Linea Ladies!
        Seka.

  38. LeefromMinnesota

I am intrigued by the color Smoky Iris which has a placeholder for item A295878 WK tunic but no color swatch as yet. It sounds like a color I would love and I already own the tunic in Port so this may be yet another must have. Louis, would this color go well with brown or/and are there additional coordinating pieces coming in Smoky Iris? Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lee, Smokey Iris is an accent color that goes with many colors. There are no other items in this color. Some colors I build a group of separates around like Port, forest green and caramel, and some are strictly accents. Yes brown is definitely a color that will look great with the Iris color, as well as grey, navy, dk olive, Port, and I will be showing it with the dk, forest green……which is a very Scottish kilt plaid combination. I like to show color combinations that many would not have thought of.

      1. LeefromMinnesota

Thank you Louis. I will be adding the smokey iris tunic to my Linea wardrobe! (I should say Linea closet because there are very few items that are not from your line.)

  39. Seka

Nancy (TheOwl) – Your words ring very true. When there are tears in my life – whether of joy or sadness – somehow, having my Linea to dress for every occasion makes everything a bit easier to deal with. I too am getting those sequined Pants!
    Seka.

  40. JBCinSD

I gather you all saw the sequined pants as a “sneak peek” when another item was being offered. In which item’s video can I see the sequined pants?

      1. JBCinSD

Thank you, Seka. And I already have that topper in two colors.

  41. Jane J.

Besides the 4 Easy Pays until 2pm today, Ebates is 8% back. It’s a good day to do some Linea shopping!

  42. Judy

Louis, I recently bought the crepe dress with lining in black and cannot get the wrinkles out if it, I could use some suggestions on how to get them out without ruining the dress, which I love !

    1. Lynn H

I’ve used my hand-held mini steamer (any steamer would work). I use the steamer before I wash new garments because most creases do not come out in washing – wrinkles do, but not those creases/folds from the factory shipping. They are very stubborn to get out. With buying online, these mini-steamers should almost be standard issue. Or a steaming at a dry cleaner would work.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy….You can always hang in the bathroom with the hot steam shower….or turn inside out and steam press on low heat….if all else fails have the dry cleaner press it for you. I believe it will only need this kind of pressing once.

  43. Deborah AKA Diamondscribe

Hi, Louis. I’m loving the new colors for fall. I’ve ordered a couple of the WK side-slit tunics. Florida won’t let me wear them now, but I will wait. I didn’t want to miss out on that splendid sweater. I will soon have five of them. The other one I want to order is A295912 the Abstract Printed Long Sleeve Top. Would you share what colors are mixed into the “red multi” combo? And, is the gray tonal with shades of gray? Or does that have other colors in it? That selection is just labeled gray without the word multi. Thanks, Deborah.

  44. Chris S.

    Linea Ladies,

My cable provider doesn’t show QVC2 and I was tired of watching Louis’ beautiful shows on my phone or computer, so I purchased a cord for less than $20 to attach my laptop to my TV. I took a picture of the ports on my computer and on my TV and went to the local computer/electronics store. I showed my pictures to a nice young man who understands such things and he identified the cord I need. For my particular TV and computer, I needed a cord with a mini display port connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other end. Just plug in both ends of the cord and use your TV remote to change the input/source to HDMI and there was Louis on my big screen TV! I believe there are also cords to plug in your phone or iPad to the TV, but they were more expensive.

    Enjoy!

    1. Maureen

Another great tip – the past two shows were streaming live on QVC2 Facebook page, and you can go back and view them anytime.

  45. Somersault

Nancy, I am with you! I will have no problem wearing them! Out to dinner with a black turtleneck or the white winged collar shirt, Thanksgiving, yes, even while cooking dinner, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, all at home or any party or wedding with that beautiful ivory topper during the year, even on my birthday which is in August! I could not pass on these, nor could I let them sit in the closet. I will wear them for my own pleasure, feeling glamorous depending what I wear with it or just beautifully dressed with some fun. I have waited so long for Louis to get the go ahead from QVC, I am in heaven! I am 72 and my social life is somewhat curtailed because my husband is 86 and very frail but I refuse to be curtailed. They are so lovely, straight leg, lined and sequins, sequins, sequins! The drape is beautiful and when you move in them they are liquid and languid…………..Oh, I might even dust off my old false eyelashes, just for fun! What the hell, life is good and there is still life in the old girl, yet! Thanks so much Louis for everything and making me feel, well dressed and a NYC girl, once again, even though I live in Florida!!!! oxoxoxoxo Cat

    1. LeefromMinnesota

Okay Cat and Nancy, I’m 69 and you convinced me–getting the sequin pant too. Will be stalking the Q site!

    2. Lynn H

I’m 63 and at this moment have no idea when I’d wear the pants, but I’ll be ordering them. You women (and you, too, Louis)are so inspirational. Maybe we could call ourselves the Sisterhood of the Sequin Pants!

  46. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

In reference to the discussion below betwixt Goldie, Grace and Louis on the sequined pants. Even though I’m a great grandmother and a grandmother to 17 grands..I’m planning on getting the pants if I can move my achy bones fast enough to snag my size when they come out. Even if I save them up for the next family wedding. And no there aren’t any weddings waiting in the wings right now but I want to be ready :). I love it when my sons do a double take with a “Wow Mom! You look fantastic!” 🙂 Life is too darn short and too often too full of tears. I know I will get a lot of secret pleasure and happy smiles just knowing they are hanging in the closet. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may … indeed! And Grace I don’t even have those coordinating sequined tops. I hesitated, and they were gone. Never again 🙂 I have learned to trust Louis, who indeed does have our backs ;). No matter our size or state of deterioration from the many years. Louis has made it possible and affordable for us, like the single perfect morning glory flower, to have our moment in the sunshine too . Part of the fun and the poetry. Thank you dear Louis for the beauty.

    1. Ceicei

      Beautifully said.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

You are so welcome Nancy….enjoy them. Make every moment in the sun count.

    3. Lynn H

      Yes, beautifully said.

    4. Grace

Nancy, so well said and, just for the record, I AM getting the sequined pants! I was lucky to pounce on the sequined skirt and top in black way back when and still enjoy wearing them. You are so right…life is too darn short and indulging in what brings us joy is always a good thing. No doubt Louis makes us all feel and look good in what he brings to our lives each and every season. We are indeed fortunate!

    5. Nancy, now I know why you are known as the owl – you are wise. I loved what you wrote – it spoke to me. It’s interesting how many feelings have been generated by the sequin pants. I just turned 76 and drooled over the pants but my social life is limited these days because of my husband Alzheimer’s. You reminded me that that I don’t need a reason to purchase something beautiful. Personal pleasure is reason enough. And thank you Louis, for making clothing that generates such lust.

    6. Kathy/Wis

How true your words are. May we all dance in those sequin pants while the music is still playing. Thank you dear Louis!

  47. Pat J

Louis, when will the tuxedo jacket be available and will this jacket be the one to go with the sequin pants you have shown?Love all your clothes!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pat…..The tuxedo jacket is scheduled for Nov….the sequin pant for Oct.

  48. Anonymous

A 343031, the whisper knit open front cardigan is posted. I may have to get all four colors. These are
    classic. YEA!

  49. Sharon

Hello Louis, I went ahead and ordered the new mock neck and short cardigan. I don’t wear skirts anymore so I was wondering if the ponte pants would match the navy and port colors. Also any new WK swing sweaters especially the turtleneck my favorite. I love your rainbow picture and look for the dragonflies and butterflies too. My new favorite is hummingbirds I have to but my feeder out every season. When my husband passed away he sent me dragonflies or darning needles which my mother used to call the skinny ones. But he thought I was crazy until he saw the little ones

  50. Kate

Okay, can we talk about the new lariat bead/cord necklace and earrings? LDO, you have (once again) outdone yourself. Edgy and downtown, yes, but also really classy. Bold enough to hold its own with a chunky sweater and boots, but not so much that it overwhelms a simple tee and skinny jeans. I ordered silver and gold–can’t decide which I like best. And the earrings!!! Captures the exact look of this season but are still timeless. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I feel NYC chic in this set.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate, I knew you would love the lariat…..It really is special, and like nothing else. The chain mixed with the cord and the wonderful slide piece really sets the lariat apart. Then there are those wonderful beads and bone or bamboo shaped pieces. I know when I made it that this was not a piece for everyone, but that a good thing. Not everything has to appeal to everyone. It is one of my favorites…..right up there with the Cozumel.

  51. Pat Hill

    Hi Louis,

When you have time, could you please describe the new colors for A295878 WK tunic with side slits —dark copper and smoky iris. Also A295912 the printed abstract top — blue, grey and multi red. Q has not posted the new colors yet.

    Pat

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Wow they are so far ahead of me. I just got my script for my next show on the 29th with Mary Beth Roe….I haven’t even unpacked the last show!

  52. Carol

My word, Louis, that upcoming taupe suit is so crazy good. I already own the orchid shadow print blouse. A closet is no long sufficient to house all my lovely Linea, but somehow, I cannot stop growing the collection. Resistance is futile.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It is crazy good and BEAUTIFULLY MADE…..BTW it’s called MUSHROOM, and is darker than my Taupe Super Ponte pant.

    2. Michelle

      Carol

I laughed when I read your post. Resistance is indeed futile. I finally gave up and just expanded the closet. Which was a really good decision, since I’ll need room for both the taupe and black suits!

      Michelle

  53. Dawn

    Hi Louis!

Great shows as usual. I always enjoy listening to your stories about how or why you make certain garments. I really liked the Caramel jacket and shadow blouse on Brenda. Those sequin pants are gonna be stunners. I see the big deal black sequin gauze tunic or the sleeveless sequin top from a few years ago as toppers to the pants.

I missed your comment about the rolling bracelets coming back and only heard about it under this board. I really hope you are able to bring us a copper or brown version. Just wore the silver bracelet with the silver trapeze necklace on Monday.

    Thanks for all you do.

    Dawn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I did ask for a copper ox version of the bracelet, and I asked if they could do it in a small size too, but I don’t know if that will happen or not…doesn’t hurt to ask!

      1. Grace

Louis, I loved the rolling bracelet, but although it fit my wrist size, it was too small to get past my hand. A few of us mentioned that issue on the forum. Any chance they can offer it in a large size? Many thanks!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

As of now, I don’t think so. The major complaint was that it was too big for many. We really didn’t get any complaints that it was too small. If they do another size at this point it would be a smaller one.

          1. Grace

Darn. I know there’s one review about it being too small, and there were three of us in the forum who mentioned it and one woman who wanted to order, but didn’t, knowing it would be too small. I do wish they’d push the sizing a smidge on the regular, if they offer it in even a smaller size. S, M, L sizing would be ideal, but not likely

Here’s the link to the forum discussion, in case that helps the buyers: https://community.qvc.com/t5/Linea-by-Louis-Dell-Olio/Rolling-bracelets/td-p/4735164/highlight/true/page/5

      2. Dawn

        Hi Louis!

I hope that they bring those metal colors and also the different size for those who couldn’t wear the first offered bracelet.

Thank you for all you do!

        Dawn

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dawn….Brenda loved it too. It always a good feeling when the girls like wearing the clothes.

    3. Ruth

I have the same thought as Dawn to pair the sequin pants with the Big Deal Gauze Tunic with Sequin Trim in Black. Louis, I’m wondering if you think the proportions and shape of each piece would look right together. Ruth

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth….there were many times when I presented the tunic with sequins that I mentioned a sequin pant was coming. They were meant to go together, and the beauty is, because the gauze top is weightless and so is the pant…..they can be worn anytime of the year, a perfect go to for any special occasion! Not to mention a KNOCK OUT way to look!

        1. Ruth

          Sounds wonderful!

          1. Dawn

            Ruth,

I remember Louis mentioning pairing the big deal gauze tunic with sequin pants. That was well before he announced that the pants would be available. I can see black patent ballet flats, smoking shoes or pumps for footwear. I can also see a black glass chezch(sp?) necklace or the new upcoming holiday jewelry.

            Dawn

  54. Somersault

Loved both your Linea shows! You had such a good time and were so funny and enjoying your ladies, it was so good to see.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Jac and I know these models for a long long time, they are truly good friends.

  55. Jane J.

Louis, I received the Magenta leather/knit jacket — beautiful!

    1. Nancy

Hi Louis and Jane. Do you think we could wear the magenta leather/knit jacket with our port pieces like the ponte pants and WK pencil skirt? Or with the merlot moss crepe pieces? I know it doesn’t have to match, but I am pondering which color jacket to get and I am trying to be a wee bit practical without going all the way practical and getting black. I love how the magenta looked with the magenta dress on Brenda in your sneak peek, but I don’t have that dress. I have silvery white/blonde hair, and probably I should wait to see it in the dark olive. Or can you help me decide? Thank you for all these beautiful items and choices and COLORS!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….I tried the magenta jacket and Port pant on my form, and they look FANTASTIC together. The Port is dark so it really makes the magenta stand out. BTW, not to enable but, the A341740 jersey ombre print top in the violet/merlot, looks wonderful with the leather jacket and Port pant. Definitely go for magenta….you will be happy!

        1. Nancy

Dear Louis, Now I have ordered the magenta jacket–I just couldn’t pass up that terrific color–and I also ordered the magenta dress as well! I know I will be happy. Now you have me thinking about that ombre printed top too. You have an artist’s love and sense of color, and I love how you courageously go for these unusual colors that no one ever sees except from Linea. Thank you dear Louis for bringing them to us!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….I only mention the ombre top because you asked if the PORT pant worked with the jacket. Just want to to have other options for wearing the jacket.

Really enjoyed watching your shows! Such beautiful designs. I’m loving the upcoming colors – port, caramel, green. As you may remember, I’m in FL so have to resist some of your beautiful fall/winter offerings, or at least not buy multiples of items I won’t get to wear often. But I love the new WK pieces that can be layered. And the new leather jackets are scrumptious.

In addition to two of the big deals, I had to purchase the shadow floral top in rose. Have and love the blue, thought the rose would be nice for Thanksgiving. This is such a special top.

I was so excited yesterday morning when I was able to grab a black rolling bangle, and then I heard you say they were reordered. So I was stalking them for nothing. Oh well, I’m just glad I got mine.

    Have a wonderful day!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Melissa, you weren’t stalking your bracelet for nothing. You will have months of wear before the others are avail!

      1. Mellisa W

        Good point Louis!!

  57. debra

    Dear Louis,

I am in love with Port and purchased the tights and mock neck already in three colors!!! Now waiting for the skirts to arrive. Which colors will the skirt be in and when is it expected?
You know how I wait for your skirts!

    thanks so much,
    sending rainbows,

    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra….the short pencil WK skirt will be avail in Port and Navy, and the long reorder WK skirt will be in Black, Dk. Forest Green and Charcoal Heather Grey. Be assured that they will mach all of the other pieces coming in these colors, or anything you may already own in WK!

Hi Louis. You must be tired, all of your shows were SO good! I had trouble getting QVC2 to come through on the computer on all of your shows. Maybe they don’t have enough bandwidth to handle your shows audience or maybe it was just the thunder storms coming and going. But I was NOT going to miss ANY of it so I waited til the vids were posted on each item. Tonight I finished viewing all presentations at around 10:30pm. And I was WELL rewarded for persevering. Almost at the end of all the presentations I caught you and Leah presenting the sleeveless turtleneck and I almost yelped out loud when you thought to say that the sleeveless turtlenecks could be worn later in the season under the new embroidered sweater. (I have all of your sleeveless turtlenecks.) I had been worrying about that and wondering if I could do that ever since the embroidered sweaters were first sneak-peeked on your website. I broke into a big grin and said out loud “SNAP! I was right”! It’s already getting chilly where I live and I was thinking of passing on this item due to the wide ballet neckline. Now I have 2 coming my way, and 3 of the floral tops just to celebrate 😉 Thank you, thank you for thinking to pass that suggestion along. I’m thrilled 🙂 Now I’m going on vigil for when the midi WK skirt reorder finally posts and the gorgeous leather jacket reorders finally post! And staying alert for the new shorter cardigans in ENR in WK and the drop dead new blazers sometime soon. Thank you, Thank you!!!!!

  59. Sharon L

Have you considered doing a vest in whisper knit (short or long swing)?

    1. Julia

I second the request for a long knit vest in Whisper Knit.

  60. Marleen

I am so anxious to see those sequined pants!! what is the exact date of its debut?

  61. Kathy

So glad you have dark brown pants. So difficult to find in the last few years.

  62. Chris S.

    Louis,
My plum necklace arrived just before today’s show. It is stunning with my blackberry blouse and blackberry wk sweater! Will we be seeing any new pieces in the blackberry color?
Can’t wait for the berry necklace to arrive. I’m sure I’ll find things in my closet to go with that necklace as well. It was hard to choose just 2 colors.
    Thank you!

  63. Sarah

    Hi Louis
I was watching today to check for the sequined pants you mentioned on your last visit. They look beautiful.
When are they going to make their debut?
All of the ladies always look so beautifully put together like a lady should.
Thank you for keeping such a high standard- it is very appreciated.
I’m glad that someone realizes that not all women want to dress in jogger pants 24/7.
    Keep up the good work!!!!!
    Sarah

      1. Carol

Understatement of the decade! These pants will coordinate with the sleeveless sequin tops you did in sapphire, ruby and black?

      2. Goldie76

Even I, a woman who cannot successfully wear sequined pants at this point in her life, cannot get over how gorgeous they are. Ah, to be my younger, svelter self who had a destination worthy of those blazingly beautiful trousers. Those who can wear them well and have places to go — ENJOY!

        1. Goldie76

I feel compelled to add that I am super delighted by all my new moss crepe pieces (sleek and sophisticated), two Whisper Knit dresses in Forest Green and Magenta, my Placement Print top in Rose and jewelry about to be released. I’m looking forward to other pieces in Port and Forest Green, too. Wonderful season! I have not been left out!

          1. Andrea

Goldie76 “Oh how I regret not wearing a bikini the whole year I was twenty six.” Nora Ephron…..For the rest of the quote, Google it

            1. Goldie76

Andrea, I wore a bikini all through my 20s and into my 30s. I wore one until I was 37. It was strange to return to Greece after having children and wearing a matron’s suit. The truth is, I was looked at as though I were someone visiting from the early part of the 20th century. I felt like an anomaly.

        2. Grace

Goldie, as always, you raise good points and get me thinking! I love the sequined pants–they are gorgeous– but I must be channeling my younger self, because I can only think of just one occasion when my older self would wear them! In years past, I had many black tie events for charities and the university to attend, and these pants with the dupioni-silk-like topper would be so perfect to wear. I’ll have to mull over this purchase, since I have so much else on my fall Linea buy list 😉

          1. Goldie76

Grace, do not be too hasty in passing over these sequined pants. With your height and age, you are still in the ballpark. If you, in general, look good in pants, do not deny yourself. For me, if I am going to a fancy event, I will ALWAYS wear a dress or dressy skirt outfit because my best figure features (if there are any remaining) show up in skirted fashions — not pants. I am not comfortable showing my largish rump at a fancy event.

Last Saturday I attended an event and was seated beside a slim and attractive (plus wealthy) woman in her late 60s. She had legs that do well in pants, in other words. I can see her carrying off the sequined pants, even into her 70s and even beyond.

I honestly believe it depends on the person’s build, comfort level and need for the fancy pants. Age does not have that much to do with it, in my opinion. What do you think?

            1. Goldie76

It was my mistake to mention the age factor because it is for me only because I have lost my shape as I’ve aged.

I truly believe that many mature women can wear these pants well. But not me.

            2. Grace

Thanks, Goldie. I have to say, I like the way I look in all Linea pants and really love the way these draped on the model. For me, the tipping point is not as much age, as a need for fancy pants! This may be a time to splurge. I do think these pants will sellout.

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace….it took me 8 years for the buyers to FINALLY buy these pants!!!!! Do NOT let them slip through your fingers. Who knows if they will ever come back, and they are beautiful. ALL OVER tiny baby sequins….lined of course!

            4. Goldie76

Grace, without a doubt these fancy pants are going to sell out instantly. In a word, they are gorgeous. Get ’em, kiddo. You wear Linea pants well? No questioning, no dithering, young lady. “Gather ye rosebuds while ye may…”

            5. Grace

Lol, Goldie! “Gather ye rosebuds while ye may…Good advice in all matters of living and not just for fancy pants purchases 😉

            6. Grace

              Dear Louis,
You gave me the final push off the ledge!!! Thank you for the nudge 🙂

            7. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace….truly it shouldn’t be such a big nudge. I’m sure you have many pairs of pants in your closet, but I’m willing to bet not one pair of black sequin pants is hanging in there. Wear them with your Patagonia jackets! I know once you see them and try them on with a simple black sweater, slouchy or fitted you will be in love with them……and I have some truly incredible Holiday jewelry coming. Some from my archives and some out of my head…..but all fabulous!….and perfect with the sequin pant.

            8. Grace

Louis, typically, as I hope you know, I don’t need any nudges at all to buy your beautiful clothes. (My husband would say I need just the opposite–restraint!!!) My closets are overflowing with them, and truth be told, I wear Linea every single day. When age appropriateness was raised–and then, clarified so well, I thought twice about whether they were too “fancy” at my age/stage. But, I have a feeling I’ll be looking for opportunities to wear them. (Heck, they might even work with a jeans jacket at Vail.) As I said from the moment I laid eyes on them–they are GORGEOUS. I consider myself “saved” from the regret of not getting them. As Chris said to me on the forum…you only live once. Might as well indulge and enjoy 🙂

            9. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace….the sequin pant with a black TN and a jean jacket with a heeled suede boot would be perfect for Vail!….Everyone would think you are so CHIC, and a major Fashionista….in a GOOD WAY!!!

            10. Grace

Louis, I can totally see myself wearing that outfit!! I also have a black velvet blazer I can throw on with that black turtleneck and black suede boots. Thank you for the great suggestion! These may turn out to be my most worn pants of the season 🙂

            11. Louis Dell'Olio

Grace, you already have a black velvet blazer! Well then you must get the sequin pant!!!! It is going to glamorize your blazer. You will see, because the sequins are very small…..much more chic and sophisticated then the large sequins for pants, they aren’t that showy. I know sequins not showy???but you will see what I mean when you get them. Your husband will go bonkers when he sees you in these PANTS!!!! TRUST ME ON THAT!

            12. Grace

Louis, I’m going to tell him you said that! lol Two nights in a row last week when out for dinner, I wore the carnival necklace in turquoise and the seedbead in lime and got multiple compliments. Last night, it happened again, but this time wearing the carnival necklace in fuschia with last year’s v-neck tunic in fuschia. My husband didn’t miss a beat…Linea, again? he said. Yep. lol. So I’m thinking he’ll be looking forward to these sequined pants arriving!

With all the conversations these pants have inspired here and in the forum, I wouldn’t be surprised if they sellout before the show!

  64. Grace

Oh, Louis…those sequined pants!!! GORGEOUS! I also have all the dupioni silk-like toppers. I’ll be adding the jewelry you showed and will be all set for the holidays 🙂

  65. Seka

Oh My Goodness, Louis! Those sequined Pants are seriously AMAZING! I did not think I would get the sequined Pant because I envisioned something completely different! But they are stunning! Not stiff looking – and not a skinny leg.
And the Holiday Jewellery – WOW!
    Seka.
