Dear Louis! I received my jackets and pants in petite and have to say they fit like a dream …as if you tailored it for me. I will have the sleeves shortened one inch. Wow for the price..just don’t get it but thank you so much. Watching this runway thing and NOTHING compares to you garments..nothing. Runway..? right!Nice try. Now..would like to request this exact blazer but With brass buttons on sleeves and front,navy and black. Ok done. Pamela in the SS.

I’d like to put in a request for a maxi knife-pleated skirt in WK or a crepe. I have two shorter versions you did years ago and I’m always amazed at how, in a Linea pleated skirt, I look slim. I recently saw a maxi pleated skirt done in a light bluish-grey cashmere blend with a matching sweater and it was beautiful. So elegant. That’s what’s on my wish list.
I think I mean an “accordion” pleat.
Dear Louis. I just wrote a review on Q asking for petites in jackets. I purchased the black, mushroom and port (also purchased the trouser in same fabric) Your jackets are beautiful but the proportion needs to be scaled for a petite. I tried to explain why the proportion did not work for a petite. I hope they understand. All I know to do is to speak up and express. I’m crushed that I will return these jackets and the mushroom trouser. I’ll keep the black pant.

Is the forest green similar to the hunter green you did about three years ago? I bought EVERY item you sold in that color. Thinking of the faux suede pants.
I’m saving my shekels for the red trench. I also own EVERY red and scarlet piece you’ve offered about two years ago. Do you know if the trench in petite is sized for a petite or just shorter? I’m 5’2” but can’t wear petite sizing.
I also want to thank you for helping me keep the weight off. I figure if I stay within ten lbs. I have enough clothes for the rest of my life. I’m seventy four.
Dear Andrea….I honestly don’t know if the proportions of the coat are different. The sleeve and total length will be shorter. There are also two sets of belt loops for shorter and longer waisted women, so as a petite you would wear it on the top loop. If you can’t wear petite sizing I don’t know if this is for you.

Is anyone in California or the western states experiencing extended shipping days from QVC? Most of my orders take over 10 days. I see all of your wonderful reviews and my orders are still sitting in one of UPS’s locations for days. Thanks for your responses in advance.

Marta, I feel your pain. 10 days is usually my wait time for QVC packages to reach me in Colorado. Only the suit has shipped lightening fast with all pieces delivered by UPS within a week. But, 99% of the time, I wait at least 10 days. Pretty awful in this time of fast & free shipping!
Aughhhh! Oregon may be the worst! I think they use pack animals.

Dear Susan, I am always looking at new fabrics. Wool is automatically more expensive even for lesser quality wools. Honestly I don’t see the advantage of using wool over the fabric I just used for the new black, port and mushroom jackets….I haven’t even seen anything, but I’m still looking.

I love long coats and will be ordering the black for sure and possibly the red. In order to layer as in the sneak peek, will we need to order up a size or is enough room allowed for layering. It also doesn’t look to have a belt as the shorter version. Is that correct? How does the general fit compare to the shorter version?

I just want to add my raves about the new suit! In that material with your design & fit mastery, it is spectacular. Maybe the best fitting suit I’ve ever owned. I purchased the black & mushroom suits, plus the port jacket in two sizes. Oddly enough, both sizes I ordered fit me. I don’t think that’s ever happened before! I wasn’t sure about the mushroom color for me, but it’s a gorgeous taupe and suits my coloring very well. Now, I can’t wait to wear all these beauties! Thank you, thank you!
Dear Louis, I just received your A343162 Blazer and I am thrilled beyond words with the fabric, the cut and the fit. And in addition I love that the sleeve is not mitered when it is turned up so that the sleeve can be not only shortened but also lengthened if needed. Dear Louis, you are a treasure! Dare I ask if the Tuxedo jacket sleeve has been made in the same way so that it can be both shortened AND lengthened? Now I must go try on those pants I ordered to go with the jacket. I’m anticipating more joy from the Louis Dell Olio design studio!

I am believing that the Tuxedo Jacket will be perfect in every way. I don’t know if you recall that I was the one who requested a tuxedo jacket of you last year and, at your request, posted the idea on the QVC Forum. The response from all the ladies was good and we are about to see the finished product. I am so elated that the dream has come to fruition and I just have to believe that jacket will be amazing!

Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit Mock Neck Tank with Slits
Louis I had to write you about this sweater. You made it just for me 😉. Mock neck is my favorite. But almost impossible to find a good one. Your design is Perfect. The height of the mock neck just right. Many others are too tall and crease with my neck. So soft. The dark heather grey is my unexpected happiness. This grey color under black & navy is beautiful. Works with so many of my other Linea colors too.
If possible, please one request, Super Ponte slim leg Dark Heather Grey pants. Thank you for your beautiful clothes and kindness

Hi Melissa. If you type “carnival” in Louis’s search bar and scroll down through the results you will see the plum and teal together on your screen in two separate posts one after the other. I just ordered the plum, which looks like it has wine, grey-blue, and soft green. I wanted it to go with port and with my moss crepe dress in the Spanish Olive green color. The teal looks like true blue, true green, and true purple. Both look beautiful so it is a hard choice. Hope that helps you get it before it is shown and sells out!
Louis, I just want to tell you I just got to try on my mock neck, cropped cardigan and WK skirt in Port. WOW!! I am an “apple” shape. Usually what fits around the middle hangs on my shoulders and what fits in the shoulders is too tight in the middle. I got the mock neck one size larger than the other two pieces. This made it a total custom fit for me, and sooooo flattering I am so excited, I went back and got the whole thing in Navy. I was disappointed because the WK dress looked awful on me, but as you say everything is not for everyone. You might want to mention the next time you show this, how custom this can be and how flattering for those of us who do not look like Brenda and Kate. Now I am ready for my leather jacket in Navy and Port. Love and hugs.

Rebecca, I sooo agree! Malachite is my favorite WK color, too! If my memory serves me right, I think it was 2011/2012 when it debuted.

Sheila, I love the color so much I am seriously considering it for my bedroom wall color! I am seriously contemplating taking a malachite WK piece to Lowe’s to have them color match it. It’s a bold choice for a wall color, but I have made bold choices in the past and have absolutely loved them, every time. I also saw a bedroom on HGTV in that color, and it was stunning. I tell myself it’s only paint and if I don’t like it, it’s simple and inexpensive to change it. I am just so happy to have another malachite WK piece, though. 🙂

The suits arrived. I purchased the black suit/petite pants, mushroom suit/petite pants, port jacket and mushroom swing cardigan. Since I had purchased your ivory suit from this past spring and after double checking measurement chart, I was confident the suits would fit. You are, indeed, a master tailor. The jacket and pants fit me to perfection as well as being flattering.
The new mushroom color is versatile. It is definitely a more brown taupe with pink undertones. The new mushroom color is versatile and I will be able to change up the color combo’s for business trips etc. Since I live in Chicago and it is already cooling off, I will be able to wear these suits quite soon. I have already left 5 star reviews on the QVC website.

Have you registered your complaint via email to QVC.com customer service? If there’s something “wrong” with their order processing, it may do some good, or who knows, maybe not in fixing it.

Louis, I am so disappointed and frustrated. My black suit went to the dreaded back order. I ordered it 7 hours before the show. They were not sold out then. I am glad to hear that you are doing the sequin and the faux suede pants in petite. I will try for those, but I don’t know if it is better to order during the show or before. I am afraid those will sell out too.
Dear Linda….my experience from listening to all of you, unless you order days before there is no priority for those who order at midnight from those who order during the show. I’m starting to think “show orders” are placed first, but I don’t know this to be fact. Keep looking for the black jacket. I just saw that there are Port jackets avail, and they sold out too, so you still may get it.

Hi Linda, I don’t know that to be true. I ordered the rolling bangles during their presentation. One in black and one in gold.They both went through and were in process. The next thing I knew, the gold was on backorder and subsequently canceled. I learned my lesson. As soon as the Maltese cross was posted I ordered it. I plan on doing the same thing moving forward with Linea items.
Nancy, thank you for your input. I guess there is no real pattern as to how QVC fills orders. I’m sorry the same thing happened to you with the rolling bracelet. Hopefully there will be reorders for both of us and we can get them then. If an item is posted early I will order it right away, that has always worked, but ordering at midnight, or hours before or during the show has gone either way. I am hoping the faux suede and the sequin pants are posted early, I think those will be gone fast.
In all the times I’ve had orders go to BACKORDER, I’ve never failed to get mine. It’s better than WAITLIST, which doesn’t go into process until they get a cancellation or a return. Don’t despair yet.
I too have always had a backorder filled. More than once I had an order go to “backorder” and then the stuff actually arrives a few days later! Betting your order will ship sooner than later.

Linda, I ordered the Port Blazer a good 9 hours before the show. Then, during the show, I ordered the Black Blazer and Pants. Both my orders have shipped, thankfully, but the 2nd order shipped the day before the 1st order shipped! Why did that happen? I definitely think there my be some truth to the show orders getting priority.

I have a question regarding your Gauze Crepe Topper. This is a wonderful garment:), I own two colors: black and copper. I’m also, like you, a big fun of military/safari influence in clothing. Maybe because I really look good in that style? lol
Anyway, for a few days there was post on Q that showed two additional colors, sapphire and straw (on waitlist). It’s taken off now. Is this topper going to be available in additional colors? I’m dreaming of any “mushroomy” color. Thank You Louis.

I think I’ll love the straw color…and blue if it will go well with jeans. I’ve tried olive but it was “washing me out.” Maybe dark shade of olive is not for me… Strange because greens are my favorite colors and I have some of your pieces in lighter olive green that look great on me.

Did QVC read all of the great reviews for this cardigan? Maybe if the colors were in stock on a consistent basis sales would not have slowed. I just saw a LOGO cardigan presented that is a little similar to yours. It was more expensive and reviewers said it pilled. Also poor quality material. Lots of people returning it.
QVC should read your reviews for this cardigan. I would buy one in 2-3 colors.

I have a question about the harp necklace that I received today. It’s very beautiful, but the center chain appears to be too long for the harp. The center chain does not hang straight/taut as it appeared in all your photos of it.
Do you think it is defective? It seems to take away from the overall look.
I can still exchange it, I hope there will be more left when they process the exchange (it takes forever!)

I am not sure how much slack in the chain you are talking about. My samples are definitely on the loose side, but nothing I find disturbing. Is it so loose that it goes up against the other chains?. If you find it disturbing replace it.
Yes, I think it is too loose, it does interfere with the chains on each side. I’ll try to exchange it.

In case you are wondering why Petite Misses sales are not rushing out the door on A303147 Petite Super Pinte Pants— THE MISSY SIZES CLICK HERE MEASUREMENTS ARE MISSING! I don’t want to contact C/S to ask them. And I don’t want to look at the Regular Misses measurements to see which is closest to the size I would buy. Please contact whoever draws up the web pages, so the measurements can be included.

I live in SoCal and received my tights but it took over 15 days from my order date to receive them. I did place my order before August 30th.
Louis, FYI – tried to order your Control Top Tights A343938 – my orders first ship to Southern California – then to me. The Q will not ship your tights to California & CS cannot tell me why. On the Q’s Forum there’s a Thread about this issue of products the Q cannot ship to California – and it may have to do with California’s Proposition 65.
Seka, that’s insane! I live in CA & bought the tights July 31st. That Prop 65 thing must be new! I got the tights for my sister to go with the WK dress I bought her. Big Brother is alive & well in CA!
Julie, Apparently Prop 65 went into effect August 30th. But the Q is not addressing it – as I mentioned CS has no idea why these tights cannot ship to California. The law is what it is – but the Q should advise Customers of the situation.

Sounds like the Q has not attached the warning/notice labels required by Prop 65. The tights no doubt contain chemicals on the list. It doesn’t mean they are dangerous or unsafe, however, and does not include the quantity of the substance in the item. I’ve looked at the Prop 65 List and it contains hundreds and hundred of chemicals—from Lead to Goldenseal Root. The Q has to get their act together on the labeling for products going to CA.

Dear LacyLass. I have sent an e-mail to my buyer, as soon as i hear i’ll let you know. I believe we have shipped to Cal. before, and since these are totaly made in the USA I can’t imagine why Cal. can’t be shipped?
Louis, the new labeling required by CA Prop 65 went into effect on August 30. Anything shipped before then was fine. Anything shipped after that, requires the labeling IF he product contain any of the chemicals on the list. Pantyhose have chemicals in manufacture process, including dyes–fact of life, doesn’t make them dangerous….but this is the labeling issue that seems to be holding up the CA deliveries of the tights. The Q certainly knew this law was going into effect, so they should have been prepared for it.
Thank you Louis…and FYI, QVC Customer Service basically told me information as Sheesh provided here below… New California Prop 65 labeling requirement not being met by the tights manufacturer was how they worded it… and also FYI I have ordered and had tights sent here to California EVERY time you have btought them to us without any issues in the past, so clearly it’s a new issue…thank you again
More FYI..On the QVC forum they have been discussing the California shipping issue … other QVC vendors are being affected by this also.. they specifically mention Denim &Company … and Attitudes by Renee as both having issues with the restrictions and shipping to California.. probably other vendors too by the sounds of it
LacyLass you might need to recruit out-of-state friends or relatives to receive your Prop 65 pkgs. I have sisters in AZ & MA, so if there’s something I REALLY want I will have it sent to one of them.
Dear LacyLass….I heard back from my buyer and it is a Prop 65 situation. My tight manufacturer has to fill out paperwork for the situation, but how long this process will take is anyone’s guess….RED TAPE!

Hi Louis. I left the office early to watch your show on Friday. I had purchased the blazer in black and port in advance. Then I jumped on the mushroom suit after you showed how we could mix it with the grey rainy day top and black pants. So I am more complete than I planned! I am thinking the grey rainy top will work with the dark forest green skirt coming up also. And I have a suggestion for you to save time planning next week’s show–why not photograph the outfits on your form instead of sketching them? Wouldn’t that be quicker? Hi, Nancy. Louis sketches his outfits as part of his design/creative process, so those sketches are done before he even gets his samples! So no time saved. Louis, correct me if I am wrong…..
Actually, as soon as the samples come in I start putting the looks together and take pictures for the collages and and immediately do the sketches. I need a few sets of sketches. one for the easel on set one for the stylist, one to cut up to put on the accessory bags and a few extra encase I have to resell an item. so photos won’t help.

It looks as if a bunch of locusts descended on your website! I luckily ordered the port blazer way early. I read the measurements, saw a 10 would be plenty roomy. I sure hope they are correct because they’re gone! Great shows, looking forward to the leather jacket coming and thoroughly enjoyed both shows.
Hi Karen-just wanted to drop in here because my cross necklace arrived yesterday and it is even better in person. The cross and chain is substantial but the companion necklace is nicely light and hangs perfectly. I added a strand of pearls for an even more Tudor sort of look. I am certain you will love it.

I had the same thing happen to me. It was 2 of the glass bead necklaces. Tracking said they were delivered 8/25. My regular driver was on vacation and I had an alternate. I have a locking mailbox. Called the Q a few days later and they were able to send out the order again. I was told alternate checked all the boxes in the area but that she delivered them. Huh? Dawn, thanks for sharing your story with me. I went to my local post office and they checked who delivered my packages that day and he told me he would go to the address he mistakenly delivered them to and tell them to give them to him. I hope my story ends with a happy ending.
I really enjoyed both of your shows today Louis! I got the maltese cross set and I think it will be one of my most favorite Linea pieces yet. I will be praying for a safe drive home. I also wanted to say what a beautiful post you wrote about the morning glories (yes, I know I am really behind with things!) and for one beautiful flower to come from all that healthy foliage. Last night I ordered all three colors in the blazer and both colors in the pants in both lengths. Being on the West Coast, I didn’t have to stay up too late. At 5’5″, I’m thinking the petite length will be for flat shoes and I’d probably have to have the regulars shortened to even wear any heal that I can tolerate nowadays. I knew there would be no time to decide later. At 63, I felt this suit was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – a suit designed by Louis, offered at QVC’s prices.
Louis, was that a little sequin beret I saw?😀 Received the harp necklace today, oh what a beauty.

Louis, So disappointed that I did could not get my black suit pants before they sold out. Got home about 20 min into the show, ordered the blazer in two colors, and by the time I got to the pants, they were gone. I wish QVC would order more of an item such as this, especially since you are telling ladies it is also the pant that will go with the tuxedo jacket coming next month…yet this is the only order of the season on these pants. Waitlist was not even available to me…so disappointed that I will not have a “suit”. I suppose this will not come back again until next Fall, 2019, if at all?
Just dropping in here because if you keep checking back (now when people rethink their orders and in 10 days when “check hold” orders are cancelled) there’s a good change you will get your pants. I know it’s cold comfort and means lots of stalking but it might be worth it.
The pant definitely will not come back this year as the factories are busy producing Spring 2019 before the Chinese New Year vacations.
Anonymous, waitlist is now available on a variety of sizes. See if you can waitlist the pants. I hope this works for you.

OMG, I hope you stop showing the sequin pants and the faux suede pants until it’s time to sell them because we DO NOT WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT THEM. Until we’ve bought ours. Knowing how these things go, I’m thinking QVC didn’t buy thousands of pairs of them.
Anyway, I’m ready for your show this afternoon. I already ordered my mushroom suit and “tuxedo-matching pants in black. I bought two more of those glass bead necklaces, bringing my total now to 4. OINK.
And for my main point: The LARIAT necklace. I got all three colors because that is the most awesome necklace. The earrings are too big for me, but I have a plan to repurpose those beads, so all’s good.
Hi Carol. Sorry to butt in. Just wanted to say I also got the lariat necklace in all three colors. Love it! Wanted to share what I did with the earrings. Although I love them and they are fairly light, they were still a little heavy for me. I took a wire cutter and cut it off below the small bead. Yes, blasphemy. Sorry Louis. But it is a feasible solution for some!
I have three of the glass bead necklaces and am considering a forth (the berry)…
Carol….did you read Melissa’s comment. With a wire cutter she cut the big bead off….something to think about if it works for you.
I have the hammered J hoop earrings and all the paddle earrings from the Aztec necklaces that I can wear with the lariats. I’m taking all the beads from those earrings to make bracelets. I haven’t fully worked out the details but I’m using leather cording so I can wear them with the necklace. I’m really not unhappy that I’m not using them as earrings. I hope that’s OK with you, Louis. I just like smaller earrings with bigger necklaces.

I already bought my stuff. I purchased the mushroom suit, mushroom swing cardigan, black suit, port blazer. I like the fact that the mushroom color has a pink undertone.
My question: Will you be showing anything else in the mushroom color besides the suit and swing cardigan this season?

I would be all over a blazer coat in the mushroom color! I have last year’s coat in black and love it. Any plans to bring that one back? It really is a perfect coat.

Since I purchased both the mushroom suit and the mushroom cardigan swing sweater, I have a new business trip neutral outfit to change up from always packing black. I think I will love wearing the mushroom suit and cardigan over your short sleeve round neck whisper knit sweaters in alabaster, black but especially perfectly pink. I have a big whisper knit as well Linea shirt collection. I am sure there are many other possibilities for additional outfits from stuff I have purchased from your past collections. How fun!!
Louis – Do you know what boots the models had on that matched the port pants?

Dear Anne I used three styles from Marc Fisher. All were in faux suede and all were in a color called “Burgundy”. A295014 is the short boot, good to wear over pants. A297950 , over the knee, and A295026 Thigh high boot, all good for long skirts.

Last night, I placed my order for the black suit and port jacket & I’m back this morning for the mushroom suit. I always get tripped up with the numerical sizing (I’m a 12 1/2!) and wound up getting two sizes of each last night. Thought I’d ask your opinion before ordering the mushroom, as I’d rather not order two sizes with yet more returns. Can you please direct me to a jacket and pant that are comparable in fit? I was wondering if this jacket A273303 and the matching pant A302544 or this pant A273303 are similar in fit to this suit. I know this may be an impossible call to make, but thought I’d ask. Many thanks for any guidance you can give me.

Louis, I knew you were busy between shows, so I just went ahead and ordered two sizes of everything in black, port and mushroom. Glad I did. I had a feeling this suit would sell out!
I scooped up the new jacket in two color and TWO pairs of the black pants. But what I really came to say is OMG on the long cardigan and faux suede pants Kate was wearing tonight. I mean, really? “Who doesn’t want to look like that.” Are those pants coming in Oct? Colors?
Yes Kate, the pant is supposed to come in Oct. the faux suede will come in Dark Forest Green, Black and the Caramel…..same for the cardigan!

I have two questions:
1. You indicated previously this past spring that A298447 Petite Super Ponte slim leg pants as well as A298446 Regular Super Ponte slim leg pants were being reordered. When do you think they will be available for purchase?
2. A343163 the new blazer pants you just sneak peeked. Are they the same cut as the suit trousers you paired with the black as well as ivory blazer suits you showed this past spring? They were classic and straight legged.
Dear Joanne….here’s the low down:
1- The straight leg pant is due for Nov. selling, but since the product is always shipped into QVC almost a month before due date, if possible, QVC usually posts reorders sooner. For instance they have posted the reorder leather jacket already and i haven’t even shown it. Women ordered it and have it home….so keep looking mid Oct and it may be posted…..I never know
2-It’s hard to say because the fabrics are SO SO different. I am sure we based this pant on that pattern, but adjustments always happen due to the different fabrics. If your asking should you buy the same size I would say yes!

Louis, I can’t wait to see the new blazer presented. I am unsure which size to purchase. I have purchased several of your coats (in XL) but haven’t purchased any of your blazers before. Which measurement on the “click here” listing should I pay attention to the most, the chest measurement? I normally buy an XL in whisper knit tops. I purchased the ombre top in 1X as I I need a little extra room across the chest as I am large busted. I am leaning towards a 20 if the blazer is offered in numerical sizes as I carry my weight in my waist and hips. I don’t plan to wear anything bulky or heavy underneath the blazer. Thank you so much, any of your suggestions will be most helpful!

Whaaaaaaatt?!! I’m glad I have already stocked up. I wear them under everything during the cold weather months. They are really great under my riding boots as they stay put and also offer a smooth surface under my boots. And they hold up really, really well.
Good-golly Mr LDO! Just read the “suit” post. I’ve had all of your coat arms altered from the shoulder as I am petite. It adds cost to the garment but worth it. I will order the black and maybe another color too. Does the mushroom color work for a brunette with fair completion? It is not a color that I have ever owned. Yes Carolyn, it will definitely work…It is a darker mushroom/taupe color with a little pink in it so it should be good. It’s a very neutral color, and will look good with many colors under it.

Just wondering if you will bring back pencil skirts in the fabrication that your “tile skirts” were made of. The fit and fabric are just divine. I bought them several years ago, wear them often and they still look new. I would also like to request more printed pencil skirts as well as solids to wear with all the beautiful tops and jackets I’ve purchased from you. As my father used to say ” Give her an inch she takes a foot, give her a foot she takes a yard” As usual my parents were right when I love something I’m never satisfied always wanting more and I always want more of your clothes. 🙂 Thank you Louis for all the compliments I receive whenever I wear Linear!
Dear Claudia. I LOVED that print and i loved those skirts and tops. They were made in my polyester jersey, like many of my print pieces. Unfortunately those pieces BOMBED…….I could never understand why….so I won’t be repeating anything like it soon.
Louis, I love ANY pencil skirt you do in ANY fabrication! Anytime you offer one, I grab them. I love a little pencil skirt in the summer. It looks great with your V-neck T-shirt and also the one with the little buttons on the shoulder – so cool and comfy, and with your jewelry definitely polished! I am really excited that you are going to be doing one for spring in the super ponte. That will become my new summer uniform!! I still wear the printed skirt you offered as well. YOU are the GRAND MASTER of pencil skirts! They have looked great no matter how my weight fluctuates too!

I finally took the time to write reviews on many of my purchases ..And there were a lot…Several would not let me do a review,,I will try again later…The one pant that I got in a blue pattern and chili pepper red would not let me leave a review. This fabric I love above all other fabrics!!!!!!!!!! I love the feel of the fabric on my skin. No clinging!! Feels like a million….Need MORE…I got matching t shirt and looks fabulous ..I have 4 of the t shirts and not able to leave review. I go up from 2x to 3x in T shirts I like lots of room and fit is perfect. How about doing some robes?

I’m sorry to hear that the basic v-neck tee will not been be ordered. They were perfect in every way. Another one of my favorites is A233944, the v-neck short sleeve whisper knit top that was part of the Fiesta collection. Louis, would you please consider doing that same whisper knit top again in black for Spring 2019??? Thank you.
