Good evening, Louis. Your shows were all so lovely, as usual. I loved your comment about how we are friends getting together on your site. I feel that way too. It would be so nice to be able to post pictures on your site so we could all see the faces that go with the names. I’m not on facebook. One of the Linea ladies posted a picture of her and her dad on the QVC forum, and she was wearing the wildflower outfit. I thought it was refreshing to see a Linea outfit on one of the Linea Ladies.
Louis, FYI, you did do a Yellow Pant (to go with the BD)–it was a jean pant–you did a skirt and a jean jacket, too! Do you recall that? They also came in Denim and White–possibly Pink and Aqua. It was a good 6 years ago or so. I have the Skirt and the Pant.

Louis, I have those pants in all colors – in fact, two of each color lol. Also the jackets and skirts. I loooooved that group! That fabric is a perfect summer weight for our warm climate and it has held up so well. I have worn them every summer, and they still look very nice!

Ever since I got the “Sheila” black, white, clear Carnival with the shiny silver twisted metal beads and the Multi-plum carnival necklace with the gunmetal twisted metal beads, I realized I’d really love the have the “Sheila” Carnival Necklace with black, white and clear beads with Gunmetal twisted metal beads. I think that would look very understated and chic with all my black, gray and white clothes.I thought I’d put that request out there for you to consider.
Also, I’m really excited about the new Shantung Jacket. The azure is a first choice, hoping it will make magic happen with my eye color. But I, too, am wondering if it will be offered in black.

No Ruth, just in color. The fabric looks so wonderful in color and just OK in black that we all decided there are enough black jackets in the world and not enough color.
Hello Louis, I fell in love when I saw the shantung jackets and you said the colors were pink, blue and could you tell me about all the colors please. I will have to have one of each.
Sharon….the Azure and the lime were shown with the Pompeii necklace and are on the video of the necklace the third is India Pink a hot pink color.
I’m sure I will be thrilled with the azure jacket. I’m imagining it will look amazing with my turquoise carnival necklace!

I understand the Egyptian theme will be a look this coming fall ’19; Chanel. Of course I noticed the Ankh(sp?) necklace. I have 2 Ankhs and a heavy gold (profile} Neferteti (sp?) pendant. I have the black/brown combo Egyptian collar necklace from many seasons ago. Just don’t bring anything to do with snakes… lol!

Loved all your shows! Great ideas. Though I was done shopping even before the shows, I had to get more colors of the same items eg. crepe gauze topper, lace top and the big deal. I had only purchased ivory pink and mint in the big deal but you sold me the blue as well! And scarves in all colors. I want to frame one of them and make it an art piece! How cool with your signature too.
Had a question about the sizing in the big deal top – I am usually a size xxs or 2 in tops but I have to size up in some to fit over my tummy and hip area. Example – the knit top (yellow) with black lace border. It fit me all over except the lower portion. From the look of the big deal top on the models it looked straight cut so I wasn’t sure if I had to size up. Any thoughts?
Dear Pratt….I had thought the knit top was a generous cut so I’m not sure how to guide you. Have you looked at the click here measurements and compared them to another WOVEN top not knit which always has more stretch?
You mentioned you were worried about your daffodils emerging. No worries, as long as it’s just the leaves emerging at this time. The danger of losing the flower or bud is if it’s soon to open & we get a really cold snap which can brown them. Freezer burn?
Mine are about an inch above the ground and I’m not worried.

They are the Scarlet Ponte. The one and only red pant I have done….remember the blazer in the trench fabric has been reordered and scarlrt red is one of the colors. How fabulous a red suit would be. Now I have received the blazer samples yet so I can’t be 100% sure of the match.

It is coming back, but not in navy since they are reordering the black…..maybe next time. They also were selling the Ponte blazer in navy so that also played in the decision.

I am wearing my new navy striped blouse today (with jeans and navy pumps). I love it!! What a wonderful fabric!! Truly a great shirt. Love the style and everything about it. I hope you make more shirts with this fabric, with and without a collar, maybe different patterns like plaid.
Also received the nectar lace top – gorgeous!! And although I already have two of the shadow print floral blouses (rose and blue), I couldn’t resist the orchid when it was a lunchtime special. I adore that blouse. Also picked up the walnut floral skirt on sale, white jeans…can’t remember what else.
I also love the copper tassel necklace and rolling bracelets. Got the beautiful indigo Venetian necklace. Ordered the dill but it was missing so have another one coming.

Wrote a previos post and lost it. I’ll abbreviate this question. Would you wear the Tiger Lily Topper over the Sapphire guaze crepe tunic? I only have the scarves. I want something light to cover my bat wings.
Dawn….which color topper do you own….there were two colors. and even though the flowers are the same the ground color does make a difference choosing what to wear under it.

I only have the scarves. I want to pick one to go with the new Sapphire pants and the Sapphire gauze crepe tunic top. To me I think the White multi w/ Sapphire underneath looks harsh. Even though the Midnight multi scarf looks like it goes sometimes what I see isn’t the truest color; IE:comparison such as color being off on pcs or television screens. I appreciate your input!

Dear Dawn, I tried both scarves with the sapphire color, and both work. I will say the ivory is definitely more of a contrast with the sapphire, and the Midnight is more tonal. The blue in the Midnight is not as bright or vivid as the sapphire, but they are both in the same family. There are so many vivid colors in the scarf that it all balances out.

I was wondering if any Linea Leisure tops will be coming later in spring or early summer? I have been watching for size medium in many of the tops I have in the large. I lost weight from a medical situation I am dealing with but am trying to duplicate my favorites in the smaller size. Thanks again for your beautiful designs. I always try to wear Linea when I am going to medical appointments, and they really lift my spirits.
Dear Kathleen,no there really aren’t any Leisure pieces coming, but there are some casual pieces. If you mean like cotton knit hoodies …..things of that nature….no not this year.
The stripped shirts are fabulous! They really do feel silky. I love the shoulders. If there is ever a re-order, I’d like lavender. Very excited for the Big Deal.

So I’ve sifted and sorted my closet to be 90% Linea and I’m beginning to play. Hurry up Big Deal as I need the pink botanical with scarf (stepping out of my ivory comfort zone). I’m impatiently awaiting that pink shantung-like blouse and the lace pant someone referenced. My personal Linea boutique is a work in progress and love. Thank you Mr LDO! Also love the ponte blazers and slim pants – contemporary and silly comfortable. Also please do more in the new knit. Wonderful on the body.

FYI, Louis. The Q has messed up the Venetian Necklace inventory. People are ordering Ice and are receiving Dill or Indigo. They sent me Indigo instead of Ice. CS said they would send me an Ice—I guess they have to hand pick it to make sure it is correct. I know there is nothing you can do about it, but I wanted to give you a heads up, especially in view of the returns on this. So far it appears to be only affecting the Ice.

And C/S is reluctant to send the correct one out until it receives back the dill one! I’m one that also received a dill over the ice one. When I spoke with customer service I requested a manual pull so that someone has to eyeball the color before sending it out.
They are sending mine our right away—told me to send the Indigo back AFTER I get the Ice replacement! I guess it all depends on who you talk to at CS–totally inconsistent. Not Surprised at all.
I’m on the phone with themafter I type this to complain.
Curious ladies, did you end up getting the Ice color the second time around? Chris, did customer service end up manual pulling for you? I go back frequently to the Botanical Print Big Deals(s), because they are absolutely so beautiful, they take my breath away. I love the way the scarf is tied in all the ways you show. Could you please show us how to tie it these ways, for those of us who are challenged in that area. I can’t wait to get a couple of set home to try on and love.

WOW gapeach, I’m so happy you feel as I do about the prints. I’ve been in this business since 1969-70, and I’ve seen thousands of prints from the best companies in the world, and I think this is worthy of any one of them. The only difference is they would print them on silk. Of course I can’t afford to use silk anymore, but then there is the up keep cost of silk, and if something should happen to it, it’s money down the drain. These are affordable and easy care.
Thank you for your response. I think I will get one of the scarves to frame and have it like a piece of art. I have several floral prints–not fabric–that give me joy and make me smile. This print certainly does that. Only is’s also one to be worn and enjoyed.
Re: A347479 – the new striped shirt which I bought in the navy option ….. sometimes it’s the little things that make you so happy. And while this shirt is more than a “little thing”, in the field along side the gorgeous big deal, the flood of jewelry-to-love, and so much more … it made me brighten right up when I tried it on this morning. First it is “cool”. Thank Heavens for that. It will feel GREAT in the summer humidity. Then there is that sharp neckline finish. And the drape-over-the-shoulder detail on this shirt is very pleasing. And WOW the fabric!!!! Not only is it cool, it came out of the bag with nary a wrinkle on it! WOW. THAT is a fabric for summer to love. Of course I’ll be purchasing the other color options! During your recent show with Jennifer C, you presented the ponte crop pant (A302601). You mentioned that the ponte blazer (A347451) was made in the same ponte material and would work well together. That prompted me to order both the navy and white pants to match with the blazers.
I received them yesterday and….wow! The blazer and pant work wonderfully together. With a great pair of heels, the suit looks very modern and high fashion. I love it paired with the new stand collar blouse (A347479) and the ruffle front blouse (A347448), as well as several of the new necklaces. I can’t wait to get the pant home in the other colors. Then I’ll really start playing in my closet, mixing and matching the pants with the blazers.
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I’m so appreciative of the lovely clothes and jewelry that you bring to the Linea ladies. Best of luck with the upcoming Big Deal. I’ll be watching online and ordering the mint green.

I actually tried the suit with a pair of Marc Fisher heeled sandals that were sold a few years ago on the Q. They have laces that wrapped up over the ankle and fringe detail. I loved the look. I’ll also check out the Franco Sarto sandals.
Now if we could just get Spring to arrive!

I wanted to get an opinion on the seed bead bracelet and roller bracelet.
I really want the seed bead to match some of the necklaces I already have, but you say not for a small wrist. Also guidance on rolling bracelet and size for me.
I measured that my knuckles are 7 3/4” and wrist is 6”.
Please advise if seed bead is a no go and would small roller fit over my knuckles.

Dear Sarah…..since I can’t try these on it’s difficult for me to answer….but many of the women here have experience with both bracelets, and hopefully they will join this conversation and give you the guidance you need. I still think the seed bead cuff will be too big. The style is an open back so only your wrist measurement matters.

Suzy….the answer is……YES….and they are gorgeous….If you look at the March Harper’s Bazaar the front fold page shows a double spread of Chanel. There are blue lace wide leg pants. Mine aren’t wide like that but the blue is similar. It’s a brand new finish for lace. I call it denim lace because it has a distressed look. The Chanel lace looks similar, but honestly IMHO…..mine is prettier….The colors of the lace all coordinate with the VENETIAN NECKLACES and EARRING sets. They are due next month.
Love that versatile color! So day-to-day and not just special occasion. Went to the Chanel site since I didn’t find it on the Harper’s web. Cannot wait to see yours!!!! You always find us that special fabric.
I think I get it. The lace will work with the new tank and new flowing fabric pants that are sneaked with the Venetian jewels. Those necklaces are awesome pieces. I like that they can be wrapped around as much as you can and are not a set length. This will be one dynamic outfit, Louis, just brilliant! Hope I got it right!

I shudder to think what the Chanel lace pants cost. I initially watched the beach runway show back in either Oct.,Nov.or Dec.’18. I almost requested lace pants but thought I’d be pushing it. I’m in for the blue.
When the Blue Venetian arrives tomorrow I hope it’s not another color. The Pearl Crystal box did not have the sticker/item# on the bottom of the box. I save the boxes and tuck the receipts inside.

Several of the ladies wondered — as have I — if the Fern Carnival necklace has gunmetal or silver hardware. It appears to be gunmetal, but we are uncertain.
Goldie….it’s neither gunmetal or silver…..it’s brass ox like the hoop in the exotic set. It works with both the Dill Venetian and the Fern beach glass

Hello Louis…I know sizing is a difficult call. I was wondering if the Click Here measurements would be available now for the Botanical top. I usually get a large, as I am between a 14 and 16. But I have noticed that the Medium sometimes looks better on me, such as with the Shadow Print tops. I am not sure whether to order a 14 or 16 in the Botanical. Are the Botanical measurements the same as any of your other tops, so I can compare? If not, I will just have to be fast on the draw, when the top is listed on the Q.
Hi, Louis. So excited to hear of your Big Deal coming in September! Will you have any TSV’s this year? My Cable company does not carry Q2, so when you are on Q2 I have to watch on my laptop or iPad but the feed often freezes and I miss parts of the show, sometimes large parts, and since my Cable company (Comcast) does not carry Q2 that also means I can’t tape the show for further viewing. My only recourse is to wait until the videos are posted online. The Q needs to do a better job of negotiating with the cable companies to carry Q2. I’m not the only one with this problem, so, FYI, a TSV reaches a much bigger audience than Q2.
Dear Sheesh, no I don’t have ant TSVs coming. I haven’t had one in years! TSVs are a double edge sword. If they do well that’s great. Mine have always done well….However, if they don’t you are sitting with the huge inventory which takes away from your open to buy. I’m happy with a few Big Deals a year. In the end it’s the same, but less of a danger because the money is split up with a few styles instead of one. Sorry you don’t get QVC2….you have to move to CT….LOL

That is music to my ears. These are my favorite pants of all times. Beyond having every color you have introduced them in, I have multiple pairs in black and navy. My size fluctuates so I have 5 black pairs in size 10 and 4 black pairs in size 12. That is love or a Linea super ponte addiction. I am going to go with love!

The Big Deal is an absolute WOW!!! Can’t tell you how I’m looking forward to getting them both. I love the field of botanical florals. They are elegant, amazing and fun to wear. This is something I will keep front and center, just to look at. I also like the fabric and it is deceptively easy to take care of. I will be front and center myself, when it makes its debut as the Big Deal.

Debby…..absolutely….I always give the same navy standard. They can vary slightly due to different yarns and fabrics, but they will always work together.

PLEASE stop designing jewelry! I now need a new walk in closet just to house my Linea jewelry collection. Like chips, you can’t stop with just one. Actually I hang my necklaces on bars with hooks in my walk in because I have so much Linea jewelry that I can’t remember it all. By hanging it, I can see what there is to choose from and it is all fabulous. Your jewelry just makes each outfit.

Dear Donna….I know that all of the jewelry came at once. It wasn’t supposed to be that way, but the Q either never posts or they post it all at once. So know that the jewelry was supposed to be spread out over months. I can’t really complain because now you all have the opportunity to get it early so when the coordinating clothes arrive the jewelry will be avail. for a change. I am trying to make the jewelry into a proper jewelry line, and not just bits and pieces. It’s not easy when it is sold on line only. I know you really don’t want me to stop….LOL

Dear Florence…..if and that’s a BIG IF….it won’t be back until next year, but honestly if it gets reordered I’ll probably do new colors. You may want to consider the elongated shirt, appox. the same length as the cardigan. The sapphire color is beautiful and the same a the cardigan.

I wore my navy/ivory Sand Collar Shirt today, and am so pleased with it. The fabric is absolutely wonderful! This will definitely be a go-to shirt for me. I love that the the shoulder bands dip past where the sleeves meet the trunk of the shirt. As much as I favor traditional, classic shirts, I am over the moon about this variation. It feels wonderful to wear, and bridges the casual/dressy looks beautifully. More, please.

Dear Cela……since you can only see a minimum amount of the tank I would tank the PP tank would work. I think it would stunning with all black under it. A tank dress or a tank and pants. Then you can accessories with anything. The pearl, jet and fireball necklace or the jet tassel would be beautiful.

I’ve been looking at video’s of fashion shows and Vogue.com for next Fall 2020 and Tuxedos are all over….I can’t believe how fast QVC is posting all of the new items that were due for March. I’ll have to get busy taking photos, making collages and writing the scripts! The Sapphire you already know is a gorgeous color, and it looks incredible in the crepe gauze, but my new favorite is the STRAW……a beautiful pale neutral. I did sneak peek the straw tank on my last show with the matching new Carnival necklace. I think we are calling the necklace color Linen? I’m surprised that’s not posted yet!

Oh, this makes me sad. I fell in love with those faux suede pants … which was a big surprise to me … own multiples in all the colors, and bought some for my sister as well. I was so hoping for Navy and maybe a Grey at least. Ah, well … grateful for what we do have 🙂 And off to see if I can catch an extra pair or 3 from Q …

Ah … wonderful! news! I’m not much of a boot cut lady, but the tailor can easily fix that if needed 🙂 I NEVER would have believed how much I’d love those pants … and I did manage to get spares today! My sister is so happy with the pants we got her for Christmas; Walter suggested multiple pairs. She’s been caring for her husband after a stroke this summer. While he’s doing very well, it’s been a busy life for her between hospital stays, rehab, home and repeat … she just loves that those pants are warm, comfortable yet look so presentable. Thank You HUGS for making our lives both easier AND more beautiful, Louis.
Dear Cathy, I’m happy to hear your sister loves her pants, and if they can somehow bring her a little happiness during this stressful time……I too am happy. Having a stroke changes your world in an instant. It takes a long time to recover and patience can be worn thin…..It is so hard for both the victim and the CAREGIVER. My prayers are with them both.
The super ponte slim leg pants are on clearance wow I’m glad I got the red they were my first I was late to try them after reading all the rave reviews.

Morning Shari, yes, Jennifer is wearing my Art Nouveau pendant, J387777. It had sold out and we brought it back. Jennifer is wearing the silver/black. Warning….the QVC photo isn’t very good and does no justice to the pendant, but it’s a beautiful piece that goes with many things.

I received the Venetian set in the dill & boysenberry yesterday. Lovely & will go with many of my Linea clothing. The necklace isn’t overwhelming on me or is it delicate. The earrings measure less than 3” (2.75”). If it remains popular, would live a black & white or a various brown shades version in the future. Even an alabaster would be terrific.
