Louis- The shantung jackets are great. I have been wanting one ever since you first posted
a picture-bad luck for me they will be presented right before I go on vacation. Hopefully some
will be available when I get back. My question is: do you feel the lime long strand bead
necklace (J329589) will go with the lime jacket? I thought so. Thanks and happy weekend!

  2. lynne

Hi Louis, I have an accessory question. If purchasing J393304 in the green patina or the aged copper fish, what would you recommend pairing on the wrist? Thx!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lynn, if you don’t have the GP bracelet, when I show those pieces I either use the copper roller bracelet or the Gunmetal roller bracelet, Sometimes one of each. I am working on Verdigris bracelets for the future.

  3. Dawn

    Hi Louis!
Can you let us know what item(s) are being presented tomorrow morning? Thers’s discussion on Linea forum about a surprise. That is totally unlike you not to post items( hits) prior to a show.
The Gold Mayan necklace arrived today and it is gorgeous. The Gold bugle bead is lightweight. Silver bugle bead is on a rickshaw somewhere.
    Thanks!
    Dawn

    1. Louis

No surprise and Jen will be presenting

  4. Ann

Louis – How about an ankle length stretch shantung black pant for dressy occasions!

    1. Pecan Cookie

      Great idea!

    2. Carol

Or a slim leg ankle pant in the tuxedo jacket fabric.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

I sketched it because I love shantung pants but the buyer didn’t want it. Maybe if the jacket sells well and it gets reordered she might reconsider to add a pants?

  5. Ceicei

I am getting QVC 3 in Boston comcast. Linea is scheduled at noon today.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Ceicei, since I’m not there, I believe QVC3 are all pre-recorded shows now.

    2. Anonymous

This is good news. Can’t wait to see what I missed wed. Clothes and Louis too. Haha.

      1. Anonymous

Have to say , I think Jackie rocked the white blouse…inspired me to buy. Thanks Louis and Jackie

  6. Neena

    Louis,
Will you be offering any tops this summer in pecan?

  7. Gail from PA

    Hi Louis,
Noooooooooo! Your Jean Style Pants A341741 are on clearance. I assume this means they are discontinued. I love them, great fit, comfortable, easy care. I’d like more colors. Are they gone forever?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

……..GONE WITH THE WIND…………..I will never understand why these didn’t sell better the fabric, the fit and the colors were all perfect IMHO……one never knows…….Maybe someday I’ll bring back a similar style in the same fabric. Some did complain that the fabric bagged out which surprised me considering the fiber content. I guess that was not your experience.

      1. Sarah

        Louis
I love these and was able to get all three colors.
They do stretch out over time especially if you
are moving around a lot. I would say not much more so than a lot of jeans.
They are very comfortable and I love the feel of material and of course the pockets.
I’m glad I got them while my size was still in stock.
I followed your advice when they came out and as usual- you never lead me astray.
        Sarah

      2. Cela

Hi Louis, Denim nowadays is all about smoke and mirrors..there’s slashing, fraying, cuffing, acid washing tie dying dip dying and everything in between, including “whispering”. Oddly, Martha Stewart has nailed the fabrication and fit of denim and has her line on the q with every
iteration of embroidery, tuxedo stripe, patching, lace and color😳. There’s also a line called Laurie Felt, she’s from LA. Her denim,
called “Silky” that hugs hugs hugs, hugs and has a cool hand to it and a lighter weight than say, NYDJ ( not your daughter’s jeans) also at the q, although I’ve only bought them from Noxdstrxm.
All denim nowadays incorporates stretch and usually a body hugging fit that’s ankle length and easy to style with most any
shoe from ballet flat to Louboutin stilettos. But lately the length is shortening and flaring or lengthening and flaring, like in the
flower power days, the 60’s and 70’s. The twist is you’re probably going to see not a straight hemline, but a crisscross, high low, or crazy
asymmetric, frayed, string, fringed or brushed one.
IM has a sleu of jean styles at the Q and alters his fabrications amoung different weights but all contain stretch and are
always divided by light, med and dark wash.
Denim jeans usually follow the shape of the woman’s leg in a close, fit requiring her to be well toned and weight trained
allowing her to show off her physique to the max.
Oh well, I can’t help but think those shantung jackets are gonna be styled with one or more pair of these this spring! Technicolor is in!

        1. Cela

My smart phone “thought” I meant to say whispering, and changed my wording
which was “whisKering”. Does that ever happen to you? Honestly!

    1. Lynne

Sarah, I am visiting the blog to ask the same question. What are the colors? I had hoped to acquire the beach glass necklace in blue (J354366). However, this is a very similar style. I ordered the Azure and hope this is blue. Would love to see pictures for the remaining colors. Loving all the new necklaces, Thx Louis!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

The Azure is a deep turquoise, not blue like thew Pompeii or the beach glass. The iris is a deep purple and the Copper is a sienna color. The azure mixes well with the green patina ring necklace and fish

  8. luvitorleaveit

Louis, the green patina link set is fabulous! I own the etruscan set as well in the green patina which I equally love. I took the link necklace outside on my porch yesterday because the sun was so bright to really admire the beauty of this unique finish.

  9. Ann

That Shantung jacket is great. I’m going to wear it to my nieces wedding. Are there any other pieces that match it? I already have the necklace.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There are no other apparel pieces that match if that’s what you are asking. I could never get another fabric or knit to match these colors. I do recommend the WK V-neck tank in turquoise, grass green and fuchsia to mix I would love the lime with the turquoise tank, or the fuchsia with the g green or turquoise, and then a white or black bottom.

  10. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
Will the shantung jackets be on your April 24 shows. Also what colors will the jacket come in?
    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t know for sure but I would think it will be…..The colors are India Pink, Lime and Turquoise.

    2. vickybliss

There is a sneak peak in the video J352559 Pompeii Station Necklace and Earring Set

    3. Judy L

Did I miss something? I have not seen a Shantung jacket on your sneak peaks. I took a look at J352559 and Love the jacket. When will it be available?

  11. Pratt

I just had to tell you again how much I love the gondolier shirt. I have the pink. I have never worn silk blouses but have a few silk like ones. But they slide around too much or just open up too much in the neck area when I bend over. I am surprised that the gondolier shirt lays so well without slipping sliding and the collar stays up well. Other flowy shirts I have the collar always looks floppy so I expected the same with this too. How does this collar stay up? And I just love the feel of this fabric against my skin. It’s like a soft breeze touching you constantly! Very happy with my purchase and I wish you would do more tops in this fabric. A plain white shirt would be wonderful too.

  12. Cela

Linea Jewelry site looks like a candy store with more eye candy than
See’s. The Mayan, Egyptian, Venetian and the VOODOO
have me spinning. Are you casting a spell on us Louis?!!!

  13. Sierra

Will feather jersey ever come back? Or do you have a similar summer fabric?
I have an olive pencil skirt in probably the only size left. If I’m feeling masochistic I’ll squeeze myself into it, but it’s always been a little too small.

    1. Judy

Oh how I would love to have more feather jersey for summer and fall. It is my absolute favorite fabric!!!

    2. Louis

Feather jersey, no it will never come back. There was such negative reactions that snowballed. We believed in the fabric very much and that’s why we did a large group in it, but it all went to clearance, so no it will not be repeated. frankly any jersey knit of that type is very chancy. Many thought the feather jersey was too light weight and would show lumps and bumps, so I went to a heavier weight, Moss Crepe, but even that has mixed comments. There are brands that use jersey successfully that are lighter in weight, so I’m not sure where to go with fabrics in this category?

      1. Sierra

Ahh. My olive skirt is lined, so that helps. I have 2 summer dresses that are finely ribbed jersey. Just one naive opinion here, but the added texture makes me feel more secure.

  14. Ann

QVC2 is finally on Comcast cable. In Philadelphia it is 867.

    1. Ceicei

I am getting it in Boston comcast 787. yea.

  15. Pamela

Hi Louis. Looking forward to your upcoming shows. Have received 3 necklaces this week that I love including the gold disc. Looks so good with my navy tee. Are you planning any more ss tees? I have every color cotton tee and multiples of black and navy in vneck as well as crew. Don’t get the clearance thing because I would so LOVE some neutrals…alabaster, taupe, olive…plz in some iteration. Thanks Louis.

    1. Anonymous

P.s. 3/4 or long sleeves would work too…!

    2. Louis

Dear Pamela, I do have some tees later in the season but can’t remember the fabric?

  16. Beth

    Louis,

I am looking forward to next month when your PP ponte crop pants, A351410 will be available. I was wondering how similar if at all the fit is to your ponte crop pant, A302601. I love these crop pants and have all colors and am starting to purchase more of the same color for back up.

I also love your new jewelry. I’ve introduced your lovely collection to the ladies I work with. They are smitten to say the least.

Thank you kindly for any information.

    Beth

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beth…..I’m going to be very honest with you…..I don’t remember what the difference is!!!! I know I designed them, but it’s been so long ago and I haven’t received my samples yet. Maybe they are in the lighter weight ponte? I’ll let you know when my samples come.

      1. Beth

        Louis,

Thank you and I completely understand. I look forward to these! I can’t tell you how much I love your perfectly pink color and am so glad to have them in a pant.

        Thanks again.

        Beth

  17. diane228

Louis- Sorry if this question has already been asked- but do you have any idea when
the silver bugle bead necklace will be posted? I love the way it looks in your sneak peeks with the new safari shirt sets.

    1. diane228

LOUIS-never mind I just read your answer to this question. Happy weekend.

    2. Roya

      Dear Louis,
It would be awesome if you made your Linea rolling bangle bracelets that you have on QVC from STAINLESS STEEL. Could you please consider that?
      Thank you

  18. debby

C love love your line!ould you post some pics of the new Chantilly necklace, could hardly see the colors on QVC website. Love

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debby…..I will but I’m getting the samples next week……QVC isn’t the only company with late deliveries. LOL You are 100% correct…. The photos are HORRIBLE!

  19. Judy M

Thank you for the quick reply to my endless questions I will be on the lookout for the PP crop pants You are the best

  20. Judy M

Good morning Louis could you answer a question for me please, first is your pant in aquamarine A215175 the same shade as the new aquamarine in A214117 the new crinkle shirt? Also would you ever consider making your lace pant in perfectly pink to match A223652 the lace jackets of yesteryear Would make it easier to play in my closet Thanks for any answer you find time to research I know how busy you are. Oh just one more question the new chino color that is coming ,will it coordinate with the trim on your previous lace jackets? Please have a wonderful day!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Judy, first it would depend if the pant gets reordered, P Pink would be a color I would consider, but I think Black would come first. I no longer have those lace jackets so I don’t know it the chino will work. The aquamarine pant and shirt do not work together.

  21. Dawn

    Hi Louis!
Hope you are getting your tech problems resolved.
When will the PP crops be available and are you building a small collection around that color?
I would like to request an Evil Eye pendant (dainty) or a station necklace in a Navy/light blue enamaled combo.
    Thanks
    Dawn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The A351410 PP crop pant is due in May. Yes, I will have a new top in the PP, but the pant will coordinate will all the PP items I have done in the past like the new PP Lace tunic and tank…the PP Safari shirt. PP WK sweaters etc etc.

      1. Dawn

        Louis,
Glad PP crops aren’t coming till May. I don’t have much in PP except the boho and the pearl button jacket.
How about that request for an Evil Eye necklace in the future. Pretty Please! LOL!
        Thanks for all you do
        Dawn

  22. Jane J.

Good morning, Louis: Is the new bugle bead necklace also coming in silver? Maybe it’s just not posted yet? I thought I remember seeing it in silver in one of your sneak peeks. Black definitely for me and silver if it’s also available. So pretty!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane….you are absolutely correct. It does come in silver. I have reached out to the team to see what happened. The pictures do NO JUSTICE to any of the new jewelry pieces posted! The bugle beads are twisted glass and sparkle like crazy. The Ring necklace and earring set looks dinky and dull! They are all shiny metal and the sizes are much larger than they appear, but both the necklace and earring are super light weight….The MAYAN, not Maya, is spectacular, and much shinier than it appears in the photos. It looks like something a High Priest would have worn during the Mayan civilization…..they truly are beauties….The Chantilly pearls look faded. The colors didn’t show well at all in the photos. These necklaces and earring sets will coordinate to a beautiful top with inset lace details….all the lace is an antique light beige…..like a tea dipped color…..The top I believe is coming next month, but who knows it may be avail. sooner????

  23. designista

Four new necklaces posted on the Q!!!! You are killing my budget!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

….but they are all beauties….the photos don’t do any of them any justice. They are dull and lifeless.

  24. Seattleite47

I just received the crinkle georgette shirt and shell in the new aquamarine color which I ordered sight unseen. I love it. It is the perfect spring blue and green. It will be beautiful with white pants. Coincidentally, I have an Izaac Mizrahi 24/7 pant in a color called Pool. It is the exact same color as your aquamarine. Not sure I would wear a suited look but they are beautiful together.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

If the colors match you should absolutely wear them together….silver jewelry and a sandal or slide in silver would really pull it together and make it a great summer outfit.

  25. Kathleen Sautter

Hi Louis, Thanks to one of your customers I was able to access the information on the new sweater and pants. Can you tell me if this pant A351111 can be worn with the lace jacket and shell in the ivory? I know MaryBeth had on the crop pants which come in ivory also when you presented the lace jacket. thank-you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kathleen, Im not sure what pant you are referring to. If it’s the pant Mary Beth was wearing that come in ivory…..yes they look good with the lace.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Kathleen….now I see what pant you are referring too…..the new pebble crepe with the studs at the bottom…..I looked at them together. If you are extremely particular about whites, or ivories “matching”…these are not an exact match. The pant is a little whiter. I think they can be worn together….if…..you wear a shell that is closer to the pant and accessorize with gold like the new gold disc necklace to pull it all together. If the different ivories will bother you there are plenty of ivory pants that will match…if you need style numbers let me know.

  26. Chris S.

    Louis,
The disk station necklace set is posted in silver and gold. Somehow I had the idea that it was also coming in white stations with a gold chain.
I think you showed it on the blue and white pinstriped embroidered shirt.
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris….you were right about the white. Actually, we have samples of the Disc necklace in all of the Fantasy Fish colors, but they weren’t ordered, and the Fantasy Fish is slow. I thought what fun to do the Fish in these fun colors for summer, and what sells out…….WHITE…..you never know. Maybe if the silver and gold disc do well we will bring the white, but not for this year.

      1. Carol

The fantasy fish are so fun! I think we’ve just had a wealth of riches as far as your jewelry is concerned. I haven’t ordered everything I expect to purchase yet, although I did order a boatload fishes…

          1. Pratt

In the first round I bought just the black as I wanted something diff than the metals. When I say the colored fish I went Gaga and bought all colors except the white. And then when I came back for the white after you shouted with the pinstripe embroidered shirt, it was gone!

          2. Carol

I bought all of them except Yellow. I’m just not much of a yellow person. But I love the other four colors. It’s not that kind of weather here yet, but I’m ready for it to be!

  27. Seka

FYI – A214117 New Colours posted – Aquamarine and Bright Coral – no photos.

    Seka.

  28. Gail

    Dear Louis:

Just received a call from QVC about whether or not I received the color choice that I wanted in the Berber necklace… “No, I told her , I was sent the green instead of the blue, but It’s okay,”I told her, “I love the green too” !!! For my green lace top and pants and safari top and pants, perfect Louis…..

I was concerned about all the mixups Louis!!! But thankful that for you and who you are to QVC and what you create for your customers, the frustrations were handled professionally!!!!
Having lived in West Africa as a child for a number of years, what a gorgeous necklace.!!!

  29. diane228

Louis- Just received the Berber necklaces (and all the right colors!) and wanted to let you know how much I like them. They truly are special. Hope you do similar styles in the
future. Thanks again-your jewelry really is the best!

  30. Tylerpoo

Louis, requesting a fit, flare and flirty skirt with length below the knee in a solid color , like basic navy, black and grey that can be worn 4 seasons. Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Tylerpoo….what fabric would you like and how much flare? You have to make these requests much earlier it will take a year to get a new style in.

      1. Tylerpoo

Louis, would like a crepe type fabric and a flare like the wildflower ruffle skirt. A solid ruffle skirt just like the wildflower would do, maybe for next spring.

  31. Karen Ring

Good morning Louis. I’m looking forward to wearing the safari gauze tops and matching pants. Are you making any more for this summer?

    1. Louis

Dear Karen, if you are referring to the Crepe Gauze long shirt and tank that come in olive, straw sapphire etc….no that’s it for the season

      1. Karen

No, I’m talking of the shorter safari blouse/tank and gauze pants that match. I have three colors with matching pants I bought last year for the summer. Truly enjoyed them. The olive, black and I guess you called it taupe. Always felt put together no matter where I went and received compliments too.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

OK your talking about the A214117, crinkle georgette shirt with the faux de Chine tank. It will be coming back in 2 new colors.

          1. Karen Ring

That is good to know. I hope you have other summer items too. I do so appreciate your work.

  32. Somersault

Louis, I’m sure your holiday looks are completed and I should have written earlier. I was thinking about an illusion top. You did one years ago that had ruffles down the seam and I missed out on that. I was looking at your beautiful red and black dresses from Anne Klein that you showed with the black ans rhinestone clasp necklace and thinking how wonderful an illusion top would be with the black sequin pants. For me, it would be a wonderful look. Maybe at some future date. Thank you for making me a well dressed woman!

  33. Beryl

    Louis,
I love your faux suede pants. Any chance we can have a midi skirt and a jacket?

    1. Louis

There is always a chance, but there is nothing planned for this year

      1. Susan (aka Carly Twila)

Hi Louis – I love the fabric of the faux suede pants too. It is soooo easy to wash and wear, soft and cozy in the winter. I would love to see a jacket in this fabric too, although would pass on a skirt.

      2. Louis, I second Beryl’s request for a jacket in the faux suede. Perhaps a casual shirt style jacket, stand collar, snaps. (I say this because I once had this type of jacket in real suede and I wore it into the ground.) Of course if you keep designing so much fabulous jewelry, I won’t be able to afford clothes.

  34. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
I purchased your ivory as well as black v neck sweater with the cool hand. The fabric is so expensive feeling and looking. The sweater is a perfect match with the Ivory suit pants. These fit of these sweaters is perfection. HA

  35. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

My Berber necklace in Honey arrived about half an hour ago. I LOOOOVE IT!

I had a vision of what I wanted and you, dear man, made that vision materialize. What an exotic beauty. This is a look that excites me.

    Thank you so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie I’m so happy to hear you got the Honey and not one of the other colors by accident LOL….I’m so happy you like it. It took two years to get it right. The first ones were too literal, and had too many beads which made it extremely heavy. I think this is just right and still has the integrity of the Berber jewelry.

      1. Goldie76

I love your interpretation, Louis. So glad you kept in mind that many of us do not like a heavy necklace. You made the right decision in limiting the beads. There are many strung on the necklace, so we aren’t missing anything.

  36. Chris S.

    Louis,
Are the new pebble crepe pieces in hibiscus a match to the hibiscus pebble crepe tunic from a few years ago? If so, the new crops would make a pretty matching outfit with the tunic.
    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Can you give me an A style number I don’t have all samples anymore.

      1. Chris S.

It is the long flowing pebble crepe tunic in one of the original colors called hibiscus ….A288390. It was later reordered in other colors and also in petites.

  37. Sharon

Hello Louis, I have a request regarding the new shantung tops coming up in April. I saw the sneak peek and I have to have them but I’m having two eye surgeries and suspect I will blind for awhile. I wonder if you could preview them on your blog early so I could figure out the sizing before ordering. I have those upper arm issues and need to order to accommodate that problem. My surgery starts April 23 and your show is the 24th

  38. Pratt

    Hi Louis,
Am enjoying wearing all your lace pieces. The latest stunner and the one I got most compliments for was the indigo lace pants with a sunshine yellow ruffle top, Paired with the mint multi big deal necklace. I got all 4 colors in the lace separates. They are going to let Me have so many more wonderful outfits.

Are there any skirts coming this summer? Other than the boho I mean. I have been enjoying the black midi skirt in the moss crepe but I need more in that length and one that doesn’t cling.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pratt….your outfit sounds great….I like to hear my ladies are playing with the clothes! Yes, there will be more skirts, none are in jersey, and none are clinging, but they are very special, not basic.

      1. Pratt

Oooooh, I love special. Look forward to them. Thanks you Louis.
Playing with clothes – love doing that. Btw, yesterday I wore the windowpane pants with the lace border with a white top and a black white polka dot cardigan (inspired from qvc s style guide from last month) and I got some crazy looks and some asked oh wow you have so many patterns going on haha. I didn’t care as I felt great in the outfit. But everyone loved the pants. Even some men who usually don’t comment.

  39. Sallie Dohogne

Louis, I hope I’m not bringing up something that has already been discussed. It has to do with your beautiful Berber necklace. I ordered all three in separate orders. The honey order was fine. The blue and the olive were mixed up. Blue, for an olive order and vice versa. If the olive necklace had arrived in perfect condition, no problem on my part. But it was in pieces. so it has to be returned for an exchange. I talked to QVC CS, but I really didn’t get the feeling that any action would be taken to rectify this mislabeling problem. I’m afraid I’m going to get another blue one in the return exchange. On the Linea blog site on QVC there is a thread devoted to this situation. https://community.qvc.com/t5/Linea-by-Louis-Dell-Olio/Another-Jewelry-Color-Mix-Up-Berber-Necklace-Good-grief/td-p/5364333.

I don’t know if a word from you would help this mislabeled situation, but there are going to be a lot of unhappy ladies when they unwrap the awaited for Berber necklaces.

    Thanks for your ear!

    1. Louis

All I can do is notify my buyer and the people of TCJC

    2. Chris/Jazzmom

      Dear Louis,

I also received the indigo set instead of the olive set.

Question: do the items come in separate shipping boxes or do they all come in one shipping box to then be sorted out at the warehouse according to color?

Really quite disappointed lately in how the Q is handing shipping (delays of over 5 days in process) and mix ups in their orders (especially jewelry items coming from Florence, SC.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I believe that QVC gets the jewelry boxes already packaged. I would assume the bar code is already on them.

        1. Chris/Jazzmom

Boxes of jewelry lately (last 2 orders) have not had item # or bar code anywhere on the box at all. I’ve labeled them on the back so I know what boxes holds which jewelry.

    3. Carol

When you talk to CS, ask them to do a hand pull. Then someone will look to see that what is shipped is correct. I had to do that once with shoes that they exchanged for me twice, both times wrong. That’s how I learned to ask. I ordered the blue, so I’m thinking I might be having to do the same once mine arrives.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

I was told by C/S that a ‘manual pull’ can only be done if the mixup happens twice!

    4. Carolyn

My orders are also taking a while to ship. I’ve received a “delay” notice on three of them. When I called I was told it was due to the shipping company not picking them up.

  40. Beryl

    A happy surprise.
i Happened to be wearing 302680 gauze pant in dark olive when the dill lace jacket arrived. It’s perfect together. Now I’m waiting for the indigo lace pants and jacket to arrive. Planning to wear it to my husbands 90th birthday party. You’re the best.

    1. Louis

Happy Birthday to your husband! How many years are you married?

      1. Beryl

It will be 67 years in June. He knows I love your designs and he does also. I’m one of the best dressed in Wilmington, NC.

        1. Cathy in PA

Happy Birthday to your husband, Beryl!

        2. Tylerpoo

Beryl, wow what a blessing! Happy Birthday to your Husband.

          1. Grace

Beryl, a very Happy Birthday to your husband!

        3. Goldie76

All best wishes to your husband, Beryl, on the occasion of his birthday!

        4. Carolyn

          Congratulations!

  41. Roya

Hi Louis, could please let me know if there is Nickell or lead in your rolling bangle bracelets that you have on QVC website in 5 different colors. Item number for the goldtone is J390573.
    Thank you

    1. Louis

Dear Roya, we make it a policy that there isn’t nickel or lead in my jewelry, but I will double check.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Roya….everything is tested for lead, so there is definitely NO lead in any of the jewelry. The reply I got for the nickel was they “ask” for nickel free, but they can’t guarantee there isn’t any. In all the years I have been selling the Linea jewelry I haven’t gotten one complaint from anyone who has nickel allergies.

      1. Roya

        Dear Louis,
Thank you so much for answering my question.

  42. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Shipping is still messed up but I did get my embroidered bloused today 9 days after ordering them. The 3 lace jackets haven’t even left QVC yet on the same order. And I also did not receive the indigo I ordered in the Venetian necklace, though the receipt and my order confirms told me I did. I got the dill instead but kept it because I can see it going with some of those beautiful maxi type dresses I bought from you last summer. Since this mix up just happened a few days ago, not when it first posted and it happened AFTER ladies began calling and complaining about it – I’m honestly afraid to order that item again though I would still like the indigo. Just do not want to tie up the 70 something dollars to order Venetian again – especially when items sit at QVC up to 10 days and never even leave the QVC warehouses and tie up your money that much longer. But looking on the best, what a gorgeous blouse this embroidered blouse is. The first thing that delights is the touch and feel of this fabric. It says “cool” to me and I know I’m going to love it in the summer in air conditioning, or with none. First thing I did after I buttoned it on was reached for some of my good-as-new Linea vintage. A69924, of which I have every color looks just plain stunning and snappy with the blue blouse. What a fabulous vest that A69924 was and is! Incredible stretch and recovery and saturated beautiful colors. Though we have piles of snow still on the ground over 6 feet in depth from snow blowing, this blouse and vest options make me feel like instant “spring”!!! Really needed that today. Thank you for this new lovely.

    1. Marta

I have been waiting for 11 days and today my Linea order went into Shipped status. I ordered the Indigo cropped pants and the white lace shirt. Since I live in SoCal it will take another 6 to 8 days to get to me. I’m so frustrated with QVC shipping. Linea is the only brand I buy from QVC because I do not have another option.

    2. Louis

6 feet!!!! where are you. Some of my Daffodils have started to bloom, but most still have a way to go.

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Northern border of the United States in Maine. I can see Canada every day from my house!

  43. Sheesh

Well, Louis, the Q is at it again with another mix up! I ordered the Blue Berber and received the Olive! Not sure how wide spread this mix up is yet. Many of us went through the Venetian mix up just a few weeks ago–I ordered ICE and got Dill! Nothing for you to do, just ab FYI!

    1. Louis

Shelia….all I can do is shake my head! Maybe they should have all robots because the humans are doing a terrible job. If TCJC handled their end as badly as QVC does in the shipping dept no jewelry would ever get delivered.

      1. Sheesh

Louis, I adore the Silver Ox beads and chain on the Berber, Could you do a coordinating long necklace in just the metal beads and chain?

    2. Louis

BTW….my post website page isn’t working again!!!! Optimun says it’s the server and the server says it’s Optimum so right now I’m at a stand still. I may have to post my collages on my face book page until this is sorted out!

  44. namealreadytaken

I would love to have a beautiful, 4-tiered skirt, much like the ones I owned (which are no longer the correct size) in navy and lemon yellow but with matching tops with, perhaps, a bit of lace or tucks on them, to give the look of a proper tea party or afternoon wedding attendee dress. These pieces could be purchased individually or as a set, like the beautiful floral sapphire and black sets which are reminiscent of the Ikat from a year few years ago in silk (I still have both, different sizes, different colors).

  46. Tanya

    Hi Louis,
I just wanted to let you know how important your work is and I thought you might like to hear how appreciated you are. I am an elementary special education teacher in a rural school district, so your clothes, but especially your jewelry is something not seen. My students, as well as other students at my school, love your jewelry. I must say your beach glass necklaces (I have blue, olive, and pink) are the most loved with your fish necklace a close second. Students who have other issues in their lives, do not hesitate to come up and ask if they can feel the “glass” or have a closer look. It is a great conversation starter with one of my students who is a selective mute (she only talks on rare occasions). Needless to say I am huge fan of your jewelry and would buy it all if I had all the money for it!
I always appreciate when someone recognizes something good in me, so I thought I would let you know and maybe keep you inspired for more beautiful things. Just know that you have brightened the day of many students (and me too!)

    Thank you!

    1. Louis

Dear Tanya….thank you so much for sharing this with me. I am reading my e-mails before I go to sleep, and this message will give me pleasant dreams….thank you so much and love to your students!

      1. namealreadytaken

Tanya, that is a lovely story, much better than any reason for us to have beautiful things that it affects those who rarely have a word with words of their own making and in a very positive light. That is the most special thing Louis could ever hear as to how it affects those who get very little attention and who need it more than most.

  47. Joanne Conway

    Hi Louis
QVC was finally able to send out the blouses after a short delay. I purchased both the white as well as blue striped. They are gorgeous and the fit is perfection. The blouse has a luxurious silky feel which I like better than a 100% cotton shirt. These will be a great addition to my wardrobe. The blue stripe looks great with my Linea navy blue suit that I purchase about a month ago. Thanks Louis!

  48. Carol

Louis, Louis, Louis! My lace jacket finally arrived yesterday. I ordered the indigo, and it’s spectacular. Now I must have the boysenberry, too. I love your lace pieces so much. I am the original Princess of the pea fame, and cannot tolerate any fabric that irritates my skin. I have horrible memories of lace slips and tulle underskirts from my childhood, and have avoided lace like the plague since. However, I have every lace piece you’ve made in the past decade and I’m so thankful for how comfortable they are.

Indigo and boysenberry are MY colors. Looking forward to getting the indigo crops delivered. It appears QVC must be connected to Optimum, too.

    1. Louis

Dear Jane, the Exotic and Classic sets in pierced were both reordered, so there is no chance of clips coming……LOL…I guess the classics haven’t been posted yet….Actually, quite a few items that were reordered have just been posted….the pearl and faceted glass bead necklace, the drop pearl earring etc. were also posted……I’m having trouble posting collages again. Optimum is blaming the Server and the server is blaming Optimum. I may never get this fixed. This is the only place I can say anything!

      1. April Kohles

I’m glad the exotics are back. The first time I ordered them, I received a set with 2 prs of silver and no brass. I called CS, who told me they would have to have a “manual pull” to get me what I wanted in exchange. I said, “Great. Please do it”, returned the ones I had, & received a refund, while having to pay for return s/h. I’ll give it another try, because I really like these earrings, but sometimes this company can drive you NUTS.

        1. Louis

          April, I understand

  49. Chris S.

    Louis,
I love your beautiful floral scarves! I ordered the TSV companion scarf in three colors and I just received my third color of the tiger lily scarf. One is lovelier than the next! There is no way to choose a favorite.
I would love to have some fall/winter prints in your beautiful scarves. I tend to gravitate to florals, but any prints you design I am sure would be awesome!
    Thank you!

    1. Louis

Dear Chris, I’m so glad you are enjoying the scarves. I think they are very special.

  50. Stephanie

Louis, Your Pompeii necklace is one of my favorites, because it works so well with casual clothes. Is there any chance you might offer it in antique silver? Maybe in black/grey, wine, shades of mushroom, and/or turquoise/sea glass. Thanks for listening.

    1. Lisa

I second that request. I don’t wear gold but I love the look of that necklace and have been to Pompeii.

    2. Louis

Dear Stephanie, this is the 3rd reorder for the Pompeii necklace, so it’s not likely that it will be reordered again, but never say never.

      1. Stephanie

Oh, too bad. I’ll hang on to a thread of hope. On a happier note, I just received the dill lace jacket and tank. I fits like a dream and looks great. Still waiting for the matching pants – tempted to get the boysenberry set too.

        1. Louis

          sweet temptation!

  51. Andrea

When you described the Berber necklace you were talking about me. I’ve been collecting artisan necklaces for fifty years. I do have a huge one from Iris. Re the Berber necklace: the honey looks the most artisan to me but I know I’d wear the blue more. I wear a lot of red and am tired of the red and black one I bought from Tunisia fifty years ago.

The honey beads are different. Does this change the “feel” of the necklaces.

Wanted to tell you: I have a new neighbor who has a degree in Art History from Harvard and is a docent at the Sackler museum in Cambridge (formerly the Fogg.) He comments on all my necklaces; loves the fish. He’s going to help me redecorate my apartment and thinks we could do a collection and frame it open. I have many hanging on the back of a chair in my living room.

    1. Louis

Dear Andrea, when you say feel I’m assuming you mean the physical touch. The answer is no. They are all resin beads even thought the look may be different, which is what I think is interesting, so they all feel the same.

  52. Romy

Hello Louis, I was wondering if the pebble crepe petite boat neck tunic was coming back in hew colors, A311557? Thank you

    1. Romy

      Oops, new colors..

    2. Louis

Yes Romy it is coming back

      1. Romy

Thank you Louis! Can you share when and what colors?

    1. Louis

Thank you Seks….I checked it out. First it should say Silver Ox, and second the olive is with Brass Ox……They were close….LOL All they have to do is look at the photos?

      1. Louis

        Seka….not Seks….sorry

        1. Seka

Louis, Most of the Linea Ladies refer to your Sneak Peek for ordering – which is also posted on the Q’s Linea Forum – so not to worry. This Necklace is absolutely Gorgeous! I am liking your longer length Necklaces lately – I usually prefer the Carnival Necklace length.
          Seka.

  53. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
When are you debuting your Shantung jackets? Thanks

    1. Joanne Conway

I am sorry I saw that my question had already been answered – April.

  54. Julie

Louis it looks like the new Pebble Crepe v-necks will be in Fuschia, Navy & Black? Any other colors? I LOVE Pebble Crepe & was so disappointed when the regular boatneck was retired.

    1. Anonymous

      Ditto on boatneck!!!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie, actually the Fuchsia will be called Hibiscus. The other colors are Navy, Ivory and Chino.

      1. Enjay

Louis, I’m noticing a scary trend of not offering some of your new designs in black. Your New York girls will go into withdrawal!
        Fortunately, I do navy, too!

  55. Lynne Z

    Hi Louis,

Love seeing you on the Q, I am a devout fan of your jewelry and clothing. Wondering if there is any chance the buyers will be bringing back the Etruscan Bead Set. I have the Ox Copper but would like other colors. I have the Tortula necklace as a backup. Loved the colors, texture, and length on the Etruscan necklace. Also, any chance the beach glass necklace will return in new colors or restock in the blue?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lynn, we are always re-evaluating whether certain items should come back. The Etruscan was reordered once so I don’t know if it will be back, but never say never. I will speak to the team. I’m afraid the beach glass has run it’s course.

      1. Lynne Z

Thank you Louis! Fingers crossed 🙂 on the Etruscan. Will see if I can find a seller of the blue beach glass.

  56. Gail JT

Dear Louis……Waiting for Berber jewelry… I have a question, I own several,of your gorgeous trench coats….. Would you consider adding a hood to your trench?

      1. Pamela

Hi Louis…and Bebe, My 2 Cents…I think the pebble crepe, my FAVORITE, is softer and silkier than gauze crepe. Thanks for the dates too Louis. Good to know. I can’t record QVC2 so have plan so as not to miss.

  57. Bebe

Louis, it may be hard to explain but what is the difference between gauze crepe and the pebble crepe? I have a lot of pieces in the gauze crepe and absolutely love that fabric. It is my favorite fabric you use, it has the best drape and a little give and just looks fabulous on the body. I have never purchased anything in the pebble crepe. Are they similar, does one have more stretch than the other? Just wondering as I want to purchase that fushia crepe top. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bebe. First, Pebble Crepe is one of my most successful fabrics, because the ladies love it. It is very different from the Gauze C. The Pebble C. is lighter in weight and in my mind is more for the spring summer. I think it’s a more casual fabric perfect for all summer occasions. The surface texture, hard to describe] is also very different. This has as much if not more drape than the G.C. it has more flow.. Maybe others can give their impression of both, because i know many own both.

      1. Bebe

Louis you had me at “more drape and flow”. That is what I was hoping for. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you!

  58. Tricia

Mr. O I would like to share my morning experience with you. I live in a sun city and go to breakfast with 12 couples on occasion. This morning I wore a jean skirt with a white t shirt and one of your Q2 specIal cardigans. I have 4. I wore the light blue one. I wore my blue fish and what a hit.!!!!!!! From the time I arrived to the time I left. Lots of great comments. Maybe next time I will wear the yellow one or maybe the white one. Than again I have 4 of the metal ones in different metals. Yes I am guilty of having many but these are so easy to wear and just a little something , very simple ..And of course those cardigans with a white t shirt and skirt or pants are easy to put together. THANKS for all my great fashions. Wish you could hear all the oohs and ahhs . I am a 2x and you dress me beautifully

  59. Gail from Pennsylvania

    Good morning, Louis,
Many thanks for your description of Berber culture and your experience with it. As my mother used to quote, “The world is so full of a number of things, I’m sure we should all be as happy as kings.” I am looking forward to wearing the amber necklace. Iris Apfel is amazing and I love listening to her. I have one of her weighty pendants on a black leather cord that looks great with your blue striped gondolier shirt.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Ms Apfel is an amazing woman. I used to buy things from her company she had with her husband. I can’t remember the name but it ended in “Weavers”. She really is a little bit of a thing….a Wren. If she weighs more than 110 lbs i’d be surprised. She must be very strong because she really piles the jewelry, pins and bangles on all at one time…..and always looks great. She just has the attitude to carry it all off, where as someone else wouldn’t.

      1. Somersault

Louis, it was Old World Weavers! Shop was amazing, we used it a lot when I worked in the design field. I agree, she is an amazing woman and what a life she has had!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank Somersauit….the name just went out of my head. I think I still have some types from them. I had intentions of having them sewn together as a patch work for pillows, but never got around to it.

          1. maryinct

            Louis,
I’m a quilter. If you can get the fabric together, I can make you a pillow or small quilt or wall hanging. I’d be happy to do this for you.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thanks for the offer Mary, but after years of holding onto them I think they were thrown out.

            2. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Wow Mary. What a KIND offer!

        2. Stark Carpet bought Old World Weavers some time back. AS far as I know, they still own them. But I have not been active for so long now that that may well have changed. Some of their tapestries were so dense and heavy that some designers backed them and used them for small area rugs in low traffic areas. I still have a length of a verdant green tapestry I intended to make into a drape table cover for the Christmas holidays, but it is one of those things I haven’t gotten around to. That among many others LOL!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

I hear you…….sometimes it just takes ambition and a shove! LOL

  60. Cinda

Louis~ I loved your story about the Berber jewelry and look forward to purchasing once QVC lists them. I have also been watching for a lovely jacket you previewed that came in pink and turquoise, had a banded collar and reminded me of a Nehru style.
Thank you for your lovely designs!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cinda, that is a stretch Shantung jacket. The colors are incredible. The Pompeii necklace in the new colors, was done to go with the jacket in the LIME, TURQUOISE and the INDIA PINK. It’s due in April.

  61. Beth

The Berber necklace is posted on the Q but the product page shows “not available at this time”. So maybe the time is near that it will be available for purchase!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would guess in two weeks, maybe a little less, but I never know.

  62. diane228

Louis- Thank you for the post about the Berber people. I really enjoyed reading it. Will be
stalking your QVC site for the Berber necklace, hope I will be lucky enough to get all 3. I hope in the future you might bring some more pieces in this style. This is just my taste. Happy weekend! I am awaiting my haul from your recent shows.

    1. Carolyn

This past week I wore the red Ikat blouse/jacket with your black slim leg pant initially with kitten heals and later a ballet flat. Chilly morning so I grabbed your red trench as I headed out. All so easy and comfortable plus I looked great! I am beginning to look like I have a great gift in being able to assemble the outfits I now wear. Ha! We all know the gift is LDO & Linea. I’ll do my part and just keep buying! Have a great day. Take care.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Carolyn, the gift is taking the pieces and putting them together in interesting and new ways as you have done…It’s like painting.

        1. Carolyn

Finally most things arrived. It took quite a while. I love the new silky with weight crop pant and am headed back for the 2 other colors. Comfortable, cool, versatile, dressy but completely casual. I’m petite and it is a lovely pant length for me. Also love your new knit sweater. Hope more items appear in this new knit. Finally the lace is soooo wearable. I tried the lace ivy jacket with an old and beautifully worn woven cotton green pant. It’s a fantastic mix. What a surprise. Completely chic and fun. The matching tanks are lovely and are a wardrobe necessity. Thanks for everything while I’m impatiently wait that shantung!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Carolyn, I believe the Shantung jackets will be on my 4/24, 10am show. They really are fabulous
