    Dear Louis,
I absolutely love your jewelry on QVC. I’m looking for a long single strand necklace with colorful faceted glass stones. It sells out so quickly. It returned to your site a couple of days ago and sold out again. I don’t know the name of the necklace but I’m sure you do. I would like to know if it will be brought back. Thank you so much. You are such a talented and gracious man.

    1. Louis

Dear Stephanie….we are always redoing, recoloring that necklace. I don’t know which you are referring to…..the 72″ or the 30″? I’ll check if any have been reordered?

  2. Nancy

Hi Louis. Just when I thought I had too many LDO items, after your shows yesterday I went ahead and purchased two more lace pants in colors I do not have just to have them on hand–they are terrific, beautiful, versatile, and not to be missed. My question here today is whether in the future you would consider designing a moss crepe top (like the short sleeve available now) in the same length but with an elbow length sleeve and a higher neckline, like a boat neck or a crew/jewel neckline? Thank you thank you thank you for all you do!

    1. louis

First….Nancy…..you know you can never have enough Linea! Second yes I would consider that style as a fall style.

Watched the recorded Jayne & Pat show and what fun. Picked up another lace pant and what a great sale. I’ll pick up the new ivy topper in your July show. It will let me wear my ivy lace in a different way. Wore the white pant (not lace but light weight poly) today. Love this pant! Have all three colors. Perfect pant for summer and they create a casual elegance that feel great on the body too. I’m actively wearing your clothes. I must admit that I wasn’t sure about garments that were poly or fabric other than ‘pure’ but I’m becoming addicted. The new fabrics look great, are easy care and wear. Safe travels. Blessings. See you in July!

  4. Somersault

Louis, I adored your show with Pat and Jayne, today! Everyone had so much fun, it was a pleasure to watch! I loved when you mentioned Babe Paley! One of Capote’s Swans! An elegant, elegant woman. A meticulous hostess, beautiful dresser, not a foot ever put wrong. A trend setter and always on the best dressed list. She wore clothes beautifully. Nan Kempner, Gloria Guinness, CZ Guest,Marella Agnelli, Pat Buckley (all 6 feet of her), so many more. They are all gone now, no one in this day and age comes close. Times have changed. I remember as a child my mother reading all the social columns, all the names, all the beautiful parties. So glamorous! Even the models, Dorian Leigh, Suzy Parker, Dovima, Lisa Fonssagrives. Rarefied air! Hope your trip home was quick and easy! Thank you for the fun, today!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Somersault, thank you for knowing who I was talking about!!! Sometimes I feel ancient, but it wasn’t all that long ago. There is still one around Lynn Wyatt from Texas….maybe younger then the others but follows the same path. We will never see the likes of them again…..That’s when the Met Gala was glamorous!!!!!I went to them every year. Once the actresses came in things changed, and now it has nothing to do with sophistication and true glamour. Now it’s a freak show.

      1. Joyce Adams

I had to ask. Do you remember the show “Style” with Elsa Klensh on CNN every Saturday morning at 10:30? I never missed that show, but to this day miss Elsa Klensh. She was another style icon in my book. Even my husband watched it with me. We both learned a lot about the fashion world. Nothing like it today.

        1. Louis

Dear Joyce, I knew Elsa very well. She was always at my show, and I was interviewed by her many many times. There is a wonderful clip of Jac and I talking to Elsa about the “new” trend of short hair on Models. Actually Jac was one of the first, not because she wanted to cut it, but because when she was in Europe doing shows they actually burnt it off. She was doing a show for Sonja Rykiel [SP] and they were crimping all of the models hair so they would have a head of wild frizz. The crimper was too hot and burned her hair right off. The head hair stylist took her, as she was crying, and gave her a new look! SHORT hair……very boyish. She was the only model out of 28 girls with short hair and she stood out. Everyone loved it.She made the cover of WWD. When she came back to the states everyone one loved it here too…except Bill Blass who always thought of Jac as his Carol Lombard. After all of his assistants told him he was old fashioned and out of touch, he soon came around and loved it too. I think you can find the clip on You Tube.

          1. Somersault

Louis, I love your stories! I wish you would write a book or even a Pod Cast, Jennifer could help you with that. You should put all your stories on a tape recorder to preserve them, they are a treasure trove that should be shared. Your remark about Cardi B made me chuckle!!! Sadly as you say, no style icons, today!

      2. Somersault

Louis, I didn’t realize Lynn Wyatt was still around! You and I are the same age and like you, I was born and raised in New York, so all those names are familiar to both of us. I so agree about the Met Ball, it has become a joke and as you say a freak show, no longer about style, designs or elegance and as you stated Glamorous! Woman beautifully dressed, hair and makeup, perfection………. How fortunate were we to have experienced those times!

        1. Louis

Lynn was one of the younger socialites of that group. She when every season for the French Couture, and probably still does. She looks great….with some help of course, but hey why not! Who are the Fashion Icons today…..Cardi B….heaven help us!

          1. Sarah

Thanks to all for your stories- Elsa’s show was great- I’ll have to try to find an interview
with Louis and Jac. Louis, you are correct- Met Gala is a freak show.
Style will be my word of the day today.
            Sarah

  5. Judy M

Sorry forgot to ask what fabric please?

  6. Judy M

Hi Louis I love the sneek peek that Kate had on with the lace dill pants and tank looking forward to your next show . Can you let us know of any other color ways this will be in? Please and Thank You!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It will be avail in white/ivory too. It’s a new fabric. !00% polyester. It’s super light weight and the surface texture makes it casual.

    2. Judy M

Thanks Louis I loved the flow of the material

  7. Kate

A moment of silence for that new coin jewelry! When I asked you to consider making coin jewelry I never imagined pieces with this scale, presence, and $$$ look. They will never make the show next month–instant sellouts. I will be buying two of each. You always deliver for your ladies!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate you got me going and you won’t be disappointed. You still haven’t seen one….It’s called the TREVI….like the fountain

  8. Cathy Morton

    Hi, Louis!

Just a quick note to let you know how much I like your moss crepe short sleeve top. It is the perfect length and fit…not to mention the fabric. I was getting ready for church yesterday and had on a skirt and top, but the top just didn’t look right. If fact it was suggested by another designer as the perfect match for his skirt. Nothing against that designer (he is wonderful too), but the top just wasn’t the perfect one for that skirt. I suddenly remembered your top. It was the perfect one! I have it in white, but immediately ordered another white one so that I would always have a spare. Thanks so much for your providing it!

  9. janice

Hello Louis, Would you know yet if the tortue or bugle bead necklace are going to be reordered? Thank you.

    1. Louis

Dear Janice…I really don’t know. Are you looking for a particular color?

    2. Nancy

Louis, I would love to be able to purchase the tortue in black if it gets reordered. Thank you and good luck with your shows tomorrow. I will be watching!

      1. janice

Yes, I’m looking for black in the tortue also!

  10. maryinct

    Louis,
I see by your response time that you have power this morning. Was your property damaged by yesterday’s storm? The news is reporting damage/loss of power in your neck of the woods-hope it bypassed you! We lost four trees in two storms last year (including one tornado) and we had strong winds go through yesterday but for a short time only. This morning it’s beautiful here but getting humid. Must be cooler by the shore, lucky you!
Hope your travels to the Q are uneventful. Looking forward to seeing you.
    mary

    1. Louis

Mary I fared well, a few small branches. After the rain stopped and the sun came out I heard fire trucks and police cars, But didn’t see much damage where I live. No power shortage. We lucked out this time, but when he did come through, it came through with a fury.

  11. claudia felice

Dear Louis What date will that beautiful striped jacket in the tropical colors (6/19 sneak peek) be on? I always record your shows and when I showed both my husband and 16 year old granddaughter they thought it was fabulous. I’m going to try my best to get one before it’s sold out – Please let me know date it will be shown. Thanks for all the lovely things you create 🙂 Claudia

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Claudia……I can’t be sure which show until I get my scripts for the shows, but I have two shows after tomorrows shows on July 15th and July 16th. They have to be on one of those. When I do get the scripts for each show which will probably be on the 11th I’ll post it here on my web page.

  12. Carol

Louis, you did it again! My Big Deal georgette crops finally arrived today and I could not be more excited to wear them! Every single color way is a home run. I did order down a size, as I often do with elastic waist pants, and love the fit. The leg is easy without being overly wide. I can’t wait to take them on a tour of the safari blouses I have to pick which I’m wearing with them first.

The blue pair are taking a trip with me to Mexico next week. The others are jealous, but I’ve promised them each a trip soon, too.

Will post my reviews over the weekend.

  13. Tricia

Just received my 2 big deal pants. Even though I am petite I ordered the regular length and so glad I did. They fit like a regular pant and do I love them!!!! I am a 2x lady and I did not hesitate to order. One would think flowers in a pant for plus size would not be a good look but you know just how to do it. So flattering !!!That is why I did not hesitate. I love the way they are made with the lining. I did go to the Q and left a review..Actually left a lot of reviews as I tried to catch up…Thank you Mr O. I also picked up the cream top with lace. I will wear that a lot as we have lots of entertainment shows here plus gatherings. I already have the tourq and by waiting so long to get the cream I almost missed out on my size..Like the sale price as well.

    1. Louis

Dear Tricia, thanks for letting me know. After they were criticized so badly by women who didn’t even own them I looked back at the video and thought everyone looked good. So as a plus sized woman I’m happy your pleased! Wear them in good health!! Please leave your review on the Linea Forum too……….thanks

  14. Ellen

Card and bag included. I just think it is QVC’s shoddy shipping and handling for which we pay dearly. Clearly, there is no oversight with respect to the items matching their description. The description on the bill clearly states “necklace and earrings.” Ridiculous, and so sorry this affects your beautiful items.

  15. Ellen

    Tissue and plastic bag

    1. louis

no box with card or black mesh bag? Strange it sounds like a return and whoever had it didn’t return the earring

  16. Ellen

Hi Louis….I am so disappointed. I ordered the Pompeii Station Necklace for my friend’s 60th birthday gift to give to her at her party on Saturday night. I opened the box, and the earrings are missing. Now, I will have to return and shop for a gift. What a shame…the necklace was very pretty. Just wanted to let you know.

    1. Louis

Just an idea….you could give it to her, and explain what happen. This way you can see if she really likes it. Then return it for a replacement. I truly don’t understand QVC. DOESN’t anyone check? Was it properly packed with the tissue?

  17. Michelle

    Louis

I just received my average-sized rolling bracelet in rose gold. I love it! I’m off to buy another one. Please, please, please do more rose gold jewelry.

Looking forward to seeing the July 2nd show. Safe travels to QVC.

    Michelle

P.S. Chris/Jazzmom, I hope that you also received your rose gold bracelet.

    1. Louis

glad to hear you like the color in the roller!

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Michelle, I have the copper ox in the Small size. I just keep track of all the ‘new’ on the Forum & try to bring to the attention of everyone any missing items which when the rose gold bangle first was posted was missing the Average size. It took a few weeks to see the Q finally post it.

        Chris

I want you to know that your clothes are appreciated even by the younger generation. My 17-year-old granddaughter has an internship with a hotel this summer and she needed her clothes to look more professional than jeans and T-shirt she wears to school. So she borrowed all four of my Linea blazers and she looks stunning in them. She loves the fabric and how they coordinate with pants and skirts. I also loaned her one of my Linea dresses from last summer to wear under the blazer. I think she was surprised that her 72 year old grandma had clothes she would also like.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

CAROL….NOT TO MENTION YOUR THE SAME SIZE AS YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER!!!!

  19. vickybliss

A265615 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Knit Pull-On Slim Ankle Pants
I love the weight of these pants and find them very comfortable for summer. Do you have any other pieces in this material? Crop pants would be wonderful.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear vickybliss. I have sketched EVERY style in this fabric but none have been chose….I’ll keep trying!

      1. Celia

Can’t believe that. keep trying- and eventually you will wear them down! Lol

  20. Amanda Barber

My waitlisted Voodoo necklace has already shipped! How exciting.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

great news…..let me know when you get it….you’ll have to show it to VOODOO DOLL!

  21. Rudewarr

    Good Morning Louis,

I see that you’ll be on next week on the 2nd. So excited!!! DVR is already set. Any sneak peeks?

Hope you’re staying cool and dry this morning as it is horrible weather outside.

    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I haven’t received my script of show yet, and probably won’t get it until Thurs EOD, so I have no idea what will be shown, but I my guess is the new things will be on the 7/15 and 7/16 shows. I always try to show a sneak peek or two

  22. kob

    Hello Louis,
I purchased your navy tie dye boho skirt last summer and got so much use out of it (and many compliments) that I recently bought the orange option! Color question: Would your knit tank (A304658) in nectar agree with the orange skirt? It doesn’t have to be matchy-matchy. I bought this lovely tank in perfectly pink this season and I like the fit, fabric and length — it can be worn tucked in or not and the fabric is upscale. I looked at the nectar next to the orange tie dye on my laptop and to my eye I think it could work, but I know that color values/hues online aren’t a good indication of how they look in person. Another thought: Would the beige option work with the orange skirt, since there is a touch of khaki in the tie dye? I’m thinking it wouldn’t, but it’s hard to tell online. I have your white whisper knit sleeveless v-neck tank with the ribbed hem (A307363), and that works with the orange. But: a gal needs more options. (Speaking of options, I’d love to see A307363 in more muted/tertiary colors too!)
Thanking you for your expert advice,
    kob21

    1. Louis

Yes…..they do “blend”, not match. You can wear them together.

  23. Seka

Louis, Am (hopefully) looking forward to some new Whisper Knits. I wear them all year round – especially this year – it rains every other day and temperatures have been all over the place – but not hot or humid so far.

  24. Rudewarr

    Louis,

I received my BD pants yesterday and absolutely LOVE them!!! I purchased the olive and espresso and because of your preview pictures, I purchased the lime shantung jacket before the presentation as I loved how it looked with the olive pants (already have the turquoise and hot pink,) I also scoured eBay for a Linea lime shirt to go under the jacket and lucked out with a WK elbow sleeve top as I know you ensure continuity with your colors. I immediately put the outfit on and went running to my neighbor to show her my new ensemble . I have turned her on to you as she is always complimenting me on my outfits and jewelry and I have praised you to no end to her. Well she bought the BD too in black and we had a “trying on party.” We are both extremely happy with our purchases and are so excited to wear them! I also purchased the brass ox rolling bracelet which I have not taken off since I got it except to go to bed! I also received the dill lace pants, now completing my lace pants collection with all four colors. I have been trying to curtail my purchases as we are going to London later in the summer (with a side trip to Paris as I want to introduce the world to my teenage daughters,) but I told my husband that when it comes to you, all bets are off!!!! Lol
Now to figure out what to bring on the trip…
I have already left my reviews but I noticed that sometimes they do not post(?) Like the Bugle Bead necklace, I have both the gold and the silver and LOVE them but my review has never posted, I have to reach out to QVC to find out why.

I am so looking forward to what’s coming up in July and cannot wait, especially with your sneak peaks you’ve been teasing us with! I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather here in the NY/CT metro area with your girls in your flourishing garden!!!

Looking forward to your new postings soon.

    1. Louis

Dear Rudewarr…..I am so happy you like your BD pants. I know a post has be started reviewing them. I would appreciate it if you could add your review too. Your daughters are going to love London and Paris…….enjoy all of your new things!

      1. Rudewarr

I already did. Hopefully it will post soon!!!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Did you post on the Linea Forum. There is a post reviewing the pant.

          1. Rudewarr

            I just did 😃

  25. Pamela

Hi Louis. Received my new necklaces today. I love them. Purchased the Bedouin in earth tones, cantaloupe beach glass and gold Morrocan most recently. Lots more on the list too, including coins. You know, I just tuned by QVC and Josie Maran is on. I guess the cleavage rule doesn’t apply to everyone. LOL.! She is a beautiful lady though. Thanks for everything. Pamela in the Sunny South.

    1. Louis

From someone that appreciates a beautiful cleavage I tip my hat to Ms. Maran…I think that whole cleavage thing is really puritanical, as long as it’s in good taste…enjoy your necklaces….you got beauties.

  26. Carolyn Muse

    Dear Louis,

Thank you so much for the wonderful shows. Everyone was so happy. I loved all the laughter and the beautiful clothes. I tried not to order, but I did of course. You are so precious to us. I almost fainted when I saw the coin necklace. I am thanking you in advance for all the new things to come. Thank you! Thank you! Sometimes when we are faced with life’s challenges, you just make us feel better. Love you much!

  27. Debbie M

    Dare Louis,

I received my big deal today and I love them. I know they didn’t sellout, but I was wondering what the chances are of getting them in solid colors. I would buy them all, just like the trailer load of safari shirts and Bono’s I have. Lol.

    1. Debbie

Please excuse typos, spell check and no glasses. Bad combo.

    2. Louis

Debbie…that was fast. Solids aren’t on the drawing board, but I’s appreciate you leaving your review both on the Linea fashion site and the linea forum…what color did you get?…….thanks

      1. Debbie

        Louis,

I will be happy to do that for you. I bought three, olive, black and espresso. If you ever get the chance please consider solids.

        Debbie

Hi Louis, I’m excited to read that houndstooth is coming back in a big way. Going waaaaay back I had a 4 piece ensemble, I think it was Villager but I’m not certain, that was black and ivory houndstooth and I wore it to death and have looked endlessly for something similar for years. The blazer had no lapel but the vest did, which when worn with the blazer made the blazer, made it look like it had a lapel. There was a matching A line skirt and a pair of fabulous trousers that you could mix and match 100 different ways. The vest with the lapel had fabulous leather buttons that buttoned up all the way to the neck and had a removable grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow at the neck, adding even more looks. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on those 4 stand alone pieces, especially the lapeled vest. Out of all the clothes I’ve owned in my life this has to be my all time favorite and I’m just throwing this out there…casting a hook in the sky….seeing if any great designer might want to bite on it! 🙂
    Jules

    1. Jules

sorry for the typos. I know better than to hit submit without proofing! LOL

    2. Barbara C.

Louis had houndstooth a few years ago. I purchased the black and white skirt, jacket, and scarf. It is a beautiful ensemble.

      1. Seka

There was second colour option, if I recall – Black/Purple.

I also purchased the Black/White pieces.

        Seka.

        1. Barbara C.

Yes, it was purple and black. I purchased the scarf in that color.

    Hi Louis –

I was looking at this month’s edition of O-The Oprah magazine. I was so surprised to see on “Adam’s Style Sheet” your tie dye boho skirt. It was billed as the seasons hottest trends. It is on page 36. I hope you see it. You are so on trend. We are all lucky to have your styles and fashion advice.

  31. Jean

Love, love, love your new African style beaded jewelry but way too long for me. Please Louis consider making a single strand 18” necklace using these beautiful beads would love that. Ordered the tsv love your fashions. Thank you.

    1. louis

They are working on bringing it back along with the Maasai coil bracelet and earring which sold out in a flash.

  32. Karen in WA

Yesterday I DVR’d all the shows then binge watched them all in my bed last night. I ordered the black Big Deal early. They were great shows and I really enjoyed them. I have many of the items shown and I was glad to learn how to wear the voodoo necklace. I have the pool t-shirt and the twilight tiger lily duster but never put them together. I posted me on facebook in your lace jacket, 3 of your necklaces and crop pants, and got many compliments thank you Thank You.

    1. Joanne C

      Karen in WA
I also DVR Louis’s shows and watch them in bed all at once. I love studying all of Louis’s styling tips. How lucky we all are to have someone of Louis’s caliber to help us look our best.

  33. Lynne

Louis, kudos to you and your team for a brilliant set of shows. It is always fun to watch your shows, I learn so much about styling from you. I must confess I am a jewelry lover and my eyes got big when I saw the new necklaces (particularly the coin necklace). They are going to fly out the door when they go live! Looking forward to our next set of beautiful items from you. Also, love the stories you share about LI Sound. My husband and I love your area and enjoy wine tasting and visiting the local farms on the N Fork. I live in San Diego so it is a treat to hear you speak about one of my favorite areas in the country. Blessing to you and please keep the pictures of your little furry friends coming!

    1. Louis

Dear Lynne….The North Fork of LI is very beautiful and under rated. I live in Ct. on the opposite shore across the Sound, but the Sound is beautiful no matter which shore you are on.

  34. Barbara

    Dear Louis,

What fun shows! And it was so nice to see you again. Love your stories and fashion tips. I tape everything, as do many of the ladies. Loved the Short sleeved A306339 swing top and I purchased in turquoise. I think I got the last one in XS, so I’m hoping I actually get it. Recently I reorganized my closet and found several lovely Linea things that I haven’t been wearing, I have so many of your pieces that I forget about certain ones! I can’t get rid of anything, but I know I need to. Would love to know how you decide to eliminate pieces from your samples. I’m sure you are tired after these past few days; enjoy a glass of wine and that incredible view of the sound. You bring so much happiness to so many of us! Thank you.

    1. Barbara C.

By the way, the above comment is from Barbara C. I know you have more than one Barbara commenting.

    2. Louis

That’s a good question Barbara. Now that my Westie’s Storage facility is busting at the seams and and the bedroom on the 3rd floor is used for storing samples with an additional rack in the hall, this is what I do. When a style is finished, and will not be reordered it goes to the outside hall rack. If I don’t use these things for shows then I decide which I want to hold onto and which I will donate. I’m reaching the point where I need a major cleanup, because I can’t SQUEEZE another garment onto any of the 8 racks in the room.Eventually, It all gets donated. I guess I could give it all to my SIL and have her sell it on ebay, but selling clothes is a huge pain and they are all xxs and xs. I doubt that this has helped you, but donating eases the pain.

      1. Barbara C.

Louis, that is helpful because my closets are beginning to look like yours! I also choose to donate, thinking they will bring pleasure to someone else. You have given me permission to “let go.” Of course that will free up space for some new lovelies from your line!Td

  35. Louis,
Just received the Bedouin in the blue combo and submitted a rave review along with suggestions of things to pair it with. I just love this color combination and the beads look like genuine stones. It works with soooo much in my closet. I’m excited to wear it! You are the best!

  36. Sarah

    Louis
I forgot to mention that it is so refreshing to see Courtney K embrace your line.
Also loved the phone calls you took during your shows.
I was inspired by your caller to wear my ivory gauze crepe with sequins today.
I’m only cruising through my house today, so will not be getting
any compliments. It will just for me to feel fabulous- silver rollers too!!!!
    Sarah

    1. Louis

Sarah….you are the leading lady in your own life. You need no reason to dress the way you want!

  37. Dulwich

Love your jewelry but it is all too long for me. – request + please make a single strand necklace using your beautiful African/brightly colored beads style in 18” length – not the glass beads the gorgeous colored ones you are now using. Would love this. Ordered the tsv. Thank you for great fashions.

  38. Melissa W

Great shows Louis! Lots of fun to watch. I especially enjoyed you paired with Gabrielle again, seems like it’s been awhile. Always like you with Kourtney (and Amy) too.

I picked up the big deal in olive and espresso. Picked up the clearance crops in chili pepper and sapphire. And the OTO skirt last night in black (red was sold out in my size or I might have gotten both colors).

Wearing your white jeans for the first time today. So comfy and look great!

Hope you are getting some much needed rest today after your hectic schedule. Bet your girls are glad you’re back! 💕

Dear Melissa, it was a whirling dervish! I didn’t get the scripts for the shows until late Friday, so I literally spent the entire weekend preparing. My host for the noon show was supposed to be Nancy, but at the last minute she called out sick, and Pat graciously filled in, but we had very little time to go over what was in the show. The hosts usually know at least a day or two before so they can prepare.Pat had to do it cold turkey… Gabrielle and Kourtney are both sweethearts, and i love working with them. I worked with Sandra on Friday, but it had been 2 years since we worked together…..time flies

      1. Melissa W

What a whirlwind! You all did a great job!

And yes, time certainly does fly. I’d like it to slow down a little!

  39. Karen in WI

Good morning Louis! I really enjoyed all of your shows. You have been working very hard and we so very much appreciate you! I wanted to tell you that I had three women stop me and compliment me on my sapphire floral ruffle front shirt. It was the first time I wore it as it has been a bit chilly here. I have been just so happy with all your lace items and the pearls this season too. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love lace and pearls. A dear friend in CA teases me that I’m the only person she knows that wears an apron and pearls at the same time.

You looked so nice and healthy, and the smiles and laughs all around were such fun to see. Have a wonderful day and I hope you get to sit and relax by the water with your pups this evening. Hugs and love!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Well Karen….it’s been raining for three days! both here and in PA!! Tonight they are predicting severe storms. I must admit Jac and I used to love to sit in our family room that has huge windows facing the Long Island Sound, and watch the storms. All but Sammy enjoy it. She sits so close to me I’m sure if she could she’d try to hide inside of me…..LOL As long as there isn’t any damage it’s fun to watch Mother Nature do her thing. This week end is supposed to be beautiful….low humidity and temps in the 70s…it’s always a little cooler by the water….perfect!…..So happy to hear your finally getting to enjoy you ruffle blouse…..It’s almost July!!!

      1. Karen in WI

Raining here too Louis! So much this spring, but at least I don’t have to run to the vegetable garden a few times a day to water the new seeds. The lilacs are finishing and the peonies just burst open on a warm day last week. How is your garden coming?

Enjoy the storm with the pups tonight and it sounds like you will have just lovely weather this weekend! Ok, back to the kitchen to make creamy chicken gnocchi soup….that’s how “warm” it is here! Hugs!

  40. Sarah

    Louis
I appreciate everything you do-and I love your models.
You all work so hard and it is appreciated.
I was unable to watch your shows yesterday so I was
very appreciative that Jennifer had them on your facebook page.
I was tired after watching three hours and know how much time it takes to prepare
everything(enjoyed seeing the model rack in Tuesday night video too). I enjoyed Gabrielle and Pat too.
Safe travels back to CT, please post photo during the Monarch butterfly migration.
    Sarah
ps I received my silver basket weave necklace and bracelet yesterday- I think
I will get a lot of use out of it. Thanks for sneak peek with Chantal’s coin necklaces.

  41. Somersault

Louis, some schedule, yesterday! A two hour show, an hour break, then an hour show and then a hit on PM style! What a fun time on your two hour show with Pat and your hour show with Gabrielle! It’s very apparent you are very close to your models and that you adore them as much as they adore you! It’s, always, a great rapport between you. Loved the teasing about Joe!!! What a light hearted 3 hours!

I have a big problem with someone who will not leave their name especially when they wish to chastise you which was, completely undeserved. To me it shows cowardice, rudeness and it is appalling. Loved your response! In my humble opinion, I do not think any posting should be allowed without a name but that is up to you.

Thank you for all you do, your kindness as well, you are our treasure! oxoxox Cat

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Somersault….It is hard for all of you to truly know how deep my relationships are with these girls. Jac and I were, and I continue to be very close to them. We text, e-mail and speak on the phone quite often considering our busy schedules. When we can we go out to dinner or catch a quick lunch or even breakfast, what ever our schedules permit. They have been to my home… I was very surprised by the remarks made by anonymous. It never ceases to amaze me how people are so quick to judge and criticize without really knowing what is really going on. Of course she couldn’t know that Maria and I have this on going joke about her hair. I used to insist that they all wear there hair back, because it’s less distracting showing clothes and especially jewelry. I like them to look somewhat uniform so the clothes stand out. When designer do runway shows they work with the makeup artists and hair “designers” to create a look for the show and all of the models look this way. Of course this isn’t a big runway show, but it’s our mini show and the models love it, because they know it’s something special, and not just throwing clothes on, then slapping a necklace on, sometimes, and going out on set…..I let Maria where her hair down, because she really looks best this way. A pony tail doesn’t work well for her….but….I always tease her that she had better show the earrings! This particular time there was a mix up back stage, without me knowing of course, and Maria was in the wrong outfit. She had to quickly change and barely made it out on set in time. She didn’t wear her earrings, and then I went to show the matching earring, as I have done a zillion times, and low and behold no earrings……It was all a joke and if I looked irritated, as anonymous thought I did…..it was all a joke between Maria and I, but who was to know this back story? So when I thought about it, I could understand how this person could misunderstand what was really happening. Still, to so quickly jump to conclusions and point out my “faults” is a little hurtful. As I said, at this point with all of us knowing each other as well as we can under the circumstances, I would have liked to be given a pass and the benefit of the doubt. After all only God is perfect

      1. Somersault

Louis, you are pretty close to perfect in my book! It’s very apparent how close you are to your models! I watched the show and knew you and Maria were having fun!

I feel very protective of you! I’m a mother hen! So hugs and kisses, Mr. Wonderful, you are a sweetheart and thank you for coming into our lives! oxoxoxox Cat

      2. Judi

First, a question? The voodoo necklace disappeared before I could place my order. I love this necklace! When do you think the decision will be made to re-order?
I’d like to let you know that you made my miserable day a delight! I’ve been suffering from the worst head cold/sinus infection/bronchitis/laryngitis and even though I know you worked like a demon, you made my day!
Your rapport with the models is so obvious– the warmth, the laughs, the closeness. You were paired with excellent hosts also. I loved all 3 hours and watched it over again! Your anecdotes are priceless, your detailed information about the clothing is incredible.
I bought more than I had any right to, but I justified it by saying it would make me feel better.
It’s a pity people would second guess you. The LL know better!
Relax, enjoy the doggies and the Sound!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Didn’t know the Voodoo necklace sold out. I will check with the company if there are any plans to b ring it back, but with so much new coning I wouldn’t think so. We like to keep these things exclusive.

          1. Judi

Thank you for your quick reply. It’s such a beautiful, unusual necklace. I’ll be stalking this one-
            My best-
            Judi

  42. Terri

Hi Louis! I know you are probably getting ready to hit the road and get back home. Just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your shows this past visit. Your Big Deal is amazing and I know many of us are looking forward to receiving our orders! You are so gracious to have this forum for us where we can contact you directly and ask design questions or what not. Please know that there will never be a need for you to apologize for anything, no way, no how! Safe travels and bless you!

  43. Anonymous

Dear Louis, I prefer not to state my name because it truly pains me to call this out . I love your designs and styling and shows…that said…I hope that you apologize to Maria for flipping her hair in her face for not wearing earrings to match the 3row bead necklace then abruptly marching off with attitude…I was disappointed…sorry, not sorry.

    1. Carol

I can see why you’d prefer not to state your name.

    2. Debbie

Totally inappropriate and tactless. I’m sure if Maria felt slighted she can speak for herself.

      1. Karen in WI

In my humble opinion it all seemed in good fun.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Anonymous, I’m afraid you are reading into things. I was teasing Maria, and she knew it. You have no idea what goes on or is said before we go on air or the relations we all have. Maria is like my sister and is family…..we all are. We laughed about it later. Sorry, but you are very wrong about “marching off with attitude”. I was kidding with Maria and she knew it. I can see how you could have misunderstood what was happening, but sometimes things aren’t as you may think. Actually when I went to show the earring I didn’t mean to flip her hair . That was a total accident. I would have hoped that you would have given me the benefit of the doubt. I would never be rude to any of the girls.

      .

      1. Anonymous

        Hmmm.Good to know.Thank you

      2. Joyce Adams

I am amazed that we are even commenting. I laughed out loud at the incident and thought it was obviously a joke . There is a sense of fun during Louis’s shows and it is obvious they are all fond of each other. Not to mention how quickly the models have to change outfits! This was just part of the fun, I thought, and Maria knew it.

        1. Melissa W

          I totally agree!

I am stunned that someone commented anonymously about this. Really??

Great shows, fun times. I laughed out loud too! I had a feeling when Louis flipped Maria’s hair back he didn’t mean to do it that much. Whatever the case, it was funny.

Good grief. Too many people are too sensitive, always trying to find fault.

      3. Dawn

        Louis,
I was disheartened when I read the negative post about you on the Q’s Linea form. I was also aware that a post was also written on your blog.
I am so sorry your feelings were hurt by that person who thought the interaction between you and Maria was anything but fun. I thoroughly enjoy all your shows and appreciate all the things you do for us.
        Thanks for all you do!
        Dawn

        1. Louis

Dear Dawn, thank you for your support. I want you to know I’m way over it. I just find it astonishing how some people will read what they want to read in any situation. You will always have the holier than thou hands being raised to point out someones short comings, or so they think. I don’t think they can help themselves. How could she know the on going joke Maria and I have. They would be better off just keeping it to themselves. If nothing else I hope I have made it clear to anyone who thought like anonymous that there was no riff between my sweetheart Maria and me over a pair of EARRINGS!.

          1. amanda b

I have seen the beautiful and sometimes teasing relationship you two have. People need to just keep their mouths shut. I bet Maria was as horrified as you are that someone took it the wrong way.

            1. Louis

I doubt very much Maria even saw the post. The models really don’t read them because it’s usually something negative.

  44. Tricia

Since I have gotten older I have lost almost 2 inches in height and now usually ordered petite but I order the Q2 value in regular as I think I will like that length the best. I do have 3 petite pants, all colors offered, in the pattern pants that just went on sale and I love the fit on those as well but the chino pants that I just got a short time ago are 25 inch inseam and so decided I liked that for this pattern. When they arrive and yes I got 2 colors blue and black ones I will take them into my closet and I will find lots of tops to go with them. I believe it was Kathy Levine that pointed that out many years ago. She said buy what you love and then take to your closet you will find lots to go with the new item and it has always worked. One always buys the colors that you love and so you will always find things to go with it…I have been lax on writing reviews so need to do better on that.

  45. Rudewarr

    Linea Ladies,

The QVC2 Big Deal is posted!!! Ordering mine now!

    Louis,

Loved last night’s show and hit on PM Style! Your have a great rapport with Sandra, Amy and Courtney. Wow a lot of items/colors sold out! But that is just a testament to how fabulous your designs are! And I think caller Deborah epitomized how we ALL feel about how wonderful you make us look and feel!!! Cannot wait until tonight and tomorrow’s shows! I feel like a child eagerly anticipating Christmas! And although I do not Facebook (I’m anti-social media, lol) I always look at your page and you and Jennifer were adorable last night doing Facebook live. Loved that you gave us an “inside look.” Maybe you can do that from your studio in the future to give us sneak peaks? 🤗 Just a suggestion….

    Break a leg tonight!

PS: I’m so sorry, I’ve been referring to the gauze crepe topper and matching tank as the color “sand” when it’s “straw.” Hopefully the Ladies interpret my misrepresentation correctly!

  46. Lynne

Missed today’s show :0( looking forward to our upcoming Linea shows!

Louis, I caught the replay video for J353997 nugget necklace/earring set. I am wondering if the picture of the Sienna color on the Q’s website is last year’s Sienna color? It looks more like the color that was on the jewelry bust that you removed. I kept hoping you would take one of Angela’s necklaces and put it on the bust so that we could see the true color.

    1. Luis

Hi Lynn, the color of the sienna necklace is exactly as it appeared on Angela. I don’t know why the top and necklace have two different names since they were dyed to match the tops? The necklace is a rich sienna color

      1. Lynne

Hi Louis, the cameras never got close enough to Angela to see the color of the necklace. Also, when viewing from home (TV, tablet, phone), we could not see the color of the necklace on top of the copper colored blouse. It was probably easy to see in person.

  47. Carolyn

Great show. You have been missed! A few more thanks – I wore one tank today and used to bra strap holder loop. Really appreciate that detail. Also love the collar stays on one of your cotton shirts, And worn this weekend was the navy stripe drop shoulder tab shirt – love love the fabric. Feels great in summer heat. I missed the glass crystal necklaces that the models wore on today’s show so I hope they come back as I’d like one. I’m crazy about pebble crepe. I’m wearing the navy pant (also have black) right now. So comfortable in summer and they don’t wrinkle. Amazing. One more .. the new knit that is in a pull over sweater that comes in ivory, black, sapphire blue (I hope those names are correct) anyway love the knit please do more in that knit.

    1. Janner

      Louis-
I absolutely agree that your new knit V neck sweaters in the ‘cool’ knit are pure heaven. I own all three colors but the sapphire is my favorite to wear with dress slacks as well as white jeans. Please consider creating more styles such as short sleeves and cardigans.

  48. Beryl

    Louis,
Can we please have more petite ponte pants. They are so comfortable.

    1. Louis

Dear Beryl, I would love ALL bottoms to be offered in petite if I had the say, but I do not. It’s a matter of money. If they have the budget they buy petites, if the don’t petites are not bought. To buy petites in the full size range a large portion of the budget is used up so many times the buyers would prefer to put the money into another new item and drop the petite. I have zero to do with these decisions……sorry

      1. Beryl

        Louis,
        Thanks for your quick reply.

      2. Judy M

Hi Louis if there should be a request for colors of A265615 may I request perfectly pink I know I have asked before and you replied not til next spring but did not get the idea it was a definite so i’m putting it out there as others have said love these pants

    2. Anonymous

You would think they would buy what SELLS. Appears to me that most all of the petite super ponte pants have BEEN solf out at regular price, whereas many or at least several if the newest items are still available at sale prices. Thanks.

  49. Rudewarr

  50. maryinct

    Attn Linea Ladies,
The beautiful lace pants are a Primetime Special tonight at a great price! I just ordered the two colors I didn’t have (dill and boysenberry). Can’t say enough good things about how special these are!

  51. Elaine

Happy Father’s Day to you Louis.
    How are your Girls?
Looking forward to seeing you this week.
    Elaine

    1. Louis

Thank you, but I haven’t been a very good father. I’ve been working non stop preparing for 4 shows and 2 hits, so I’ve been neglecting them….I have to leave early tomorrow so they have been pretty much by themselves. It’s a good thing there are two.

      1. Elaine

Two Little Sisters together! I’m sure you will make up for lost time.
Up in Boston this week for a Pops Concert, wore your black safari blouse and white pants that you recently posted. Didn’t wrinkle and very comfortable.
Thank you very much for all you do!
        Elaine

  52. Sheesh

Louis, I’m zooming in and staring at the Striped Kimono trying to figure out the material. I see it has a little texture. Is it Moss Crepe?

    Sheila

    1. Louis

NO…it’s the same fabric as the Tiger Lily dusters…..it’s much lighter in weight than Moss Crepe which is a knit…..this is a woven….easy, breeze unlined and flowy [there’s no such word as flowy, but I haven’t found a better description]

      1. Sheesh

        Ohhh, sounds great!

        Sheila

        1. Louis

you will love it, and with your new necklaces OH LA LA!

      2. Carol

I love, love, love that fabric. Do we get scarves to go with the tribal kimono? Would you pair these kimonos with the moss crepe tees? Can you tell the excitement that little sneak peek has generated?

        1. Louis

No scarves…the white and black would definitely work. I’d have to look at the other colors….I’m going to sneak peek the kimonos on my 6/19 noon QVC2 show over the v neck Moss Crepe sleeveless dresses…they are perfect together.

          1. Carol

I have that in dress in brown and the short sleeve in blue and pink! Yes!

            1. Chris/Jazzmom

Does the striped kimono in the brown shades match back to what you had called ‘Sienna’ in some of your sleeveless tops? Or ‘Tobacco’?

Happy Father’s Day to you! with your scotties.

              Regards,
              Chris

            2. louis

Chris, I don’t have those samples….The sienna might, but I think the tobacco would blend well….that’s a guess

    2. JBCinSF

What’s the item number of the kimono, if it has been posted?

Or did you see it when another item was shown?

      1. Louis

It’s not due until July, probably on the 15th when my show is, so no number is up yet, but I’ll have a sneak peek.I’ll be showing it on my 6/19, noon show with a moss crepe dress.

  53. Sheesh

I received my Bedouin Necklace in Honey today and I adore it! Love the weight, not too heavy. It pairs beautiful with the Black Tortue necklace. I immediately went back and ordered the Blue version. I will reach for these Bedouin necklaces often. Looking forward to the striped cardigans to come. Already left my 5 Star review on the Q!

    All the best, Sheila

    1. Louis

Dear Sheila….just suggesting, not pushing, but the Black Lord of the Rings Necklace looks incredible with the Tortue and Bedouin…..very Iris, and the rings fit right into the space between the two, and it weights nothing. That’s how I’m planning to show them this Monday on my 6pm QVC1 show.

      1. Sheesh

        Louis—LOL—I ordered it! Thanks.

        Sheila

        1. Louis-
Not wanting be outdone by Sheesh – I ordered the Lord of Rings necklace to go with my blue Bedouin (not yet received) and Tortue necklaces!
          #copycat

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s quite alright Donna….you live on two different coasts!!! LOL

  54. Cela

May we please have some new clothes😻😻😻😻😻😃😄😁😆

    1. Cela

      Happy Father’s Day , Louis.

      1. Louis

Thank you Cela, My girls just came back from the groomers for Father’s Day, and i can’t keep my nose out of their necks……That doesn’t last too long….LOL

    2. Louis

more?….The Big Deals coming then you have to wait until July.

      1. Cela

        Oh I am soooooogreedy! Ok.
Oh, just for fun, I found your first peasant blouse, I think, in my closet.
Here’s the item number, I have it, it is so beautifully made. A199856.

  55. Chrystene

    Hi Louis –

I know you have posted this answer before but I can’t find it. My Art Nouveau pendant necklace broke. What is the address and cost for repair service. Thanks so much. I am loving all your new jewelry designs.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      1. Chrystene

Thanks so much Louis. I have bought a lot of your jewelry and this is the first time I have had a problem. Your pieces are beautifully designed and well made. Also, very reasonably priced. Looking forward to your shows next week.

        1. Louis

Dear Chrystene….no problem. I’m just sorry your piece broke. May I ask where it broke? If possible they will fix it. They do incredible work.

  56. Terri

    Good morning Louis!
I am wondering if the new Big Deal crop pants coming up in the blue will be compatible with our indigo tank and matching lace jacket? Looking forward to seeing these lovely crops!
    Many thanks!
    Terri

    1. Louis

Terri I’ll check to see if they work together

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Terri the indigo is lighter in color and does not match the pant, but I kind of like it. Listen, it’s an odd ball combination, and some would look at you wondering what she was thinking, others would think the combo was fun. I think with the right accessories it can work. It really is up to you. If you like it then others will like it too.

      1. Terri

Oh thank you Louis! I sure am looking forward to these pants!

  57. Joyce Adams

Wore the denim lace pants with Gold-studded navy tee shirt and gold disc jewelry to work and shopping. Lace pants worn casually, as Louis has encouraged us to do. Not only are those the most comfortable pants I own (in three colors) but people actually stopped me in the grocery store to comment on the pants and/or the tee and matching jewelry. I felt terrific. Love those pieces, though I am more tailored than lacy. Thanks, Louis!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joyce……my feeling is we NEED to have more ice cream sundaes with the works in our lives, and not always a vanilla cone…….you wore the ice cream sundae and got the compliments it deserved. If you were in a vanilla cone outfit no one would have commented. You were eye candy for many people, and probably made them smile!

      1. Karen in WI

Joyce, your outfit sounds casually elegant! I just love all the lace this season and I’m definitely a lace girl.

  58. Chris S.

I just ordered the silver basket weave necklace AND bracelet!!!!

    1. Kathy/Wis

I just ordered the silver set also.

  59. Chris/Jazzmom

Just wanted to let you know that the Q is still missing the AVERAGE sized rolling bangle bracelet in the rose gold tone (J477195). It has been missing since it was posted online. I check every day and it isn’t there. I don’t need average but I am certain that some people might.

    1. Louis

All I can do is send your message along. They are all made….the question is where are they…OH…I KNOW….with the silver Basket Weave bracelets!??

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Yes, that would be hilarious! The moderator says she sees the Average one on her end, but on 2 separate browsers (Safari/I Pad & Firefox/desktop computer) it’s not showing up.

        1. Michelle

I’m having the same experience, Chris. When you first go to the item page, you can see the average size for just a second or so and then it disappears. That’s been happening since the bracelet was first posted. And it occurs for me regardless of which browser I use.

Maybe I should order the silver BW bracelet and see if I get a rose gold rolling bracelet! Lol

          Michelle

          1. Louis

Ladies, let me spare you some aggravation…..The med. rose gold hasn’t been delivered yet. I don’t know why. We are looking into it.

            1. Michelle

Thanks, Louis. I love rose gold, so I’m looking forward to getting the new rolling bracelet.

    2. Louis

All I can do is send your message along. They are all made….the question is where are they…OH…I KNOW….with the silver Basket Weave bracelets!?? Oh….I just read the SBWB are posted!

    1. April

Hurrah! I’ve been waiting for this. Didn’t want to get caught up in another QVC SNAFU before it got sorted.

    2. Sarah

thanks- just ordered mine in silver.

  60. Louis

Many of us own not only your recent shantung jackets but also the three shantung swing jackets from the2017 holiday line in alabaster, scarlet red and black . It was not officially called shantung but many Linea ladies rave about the shantung. jackets .The material is exactly the same .They are still posted on your website .Love them allThink I will wear the scarlet with the bac floral big deal

    Louis,
In the sneak peeks, I see a few possibilities for coordinating the shantung jackets with the big deal crops, but will you let us know all the possibilities for coordinating the shantung jackets with the big deal crops?
    Thank you!

    1. Louis

Dear Chris….I don’t have many samples left that I can suggest. I’m sure you have more in your closets that work than I do….LOL. The Turquoise shantung also works with the olive print

Chris look at my response to Rudewarr…..I looked at what else was coming in July and what you may have that works, I’m sure this is just the tip of the iceberg!
