Hi Louis I am so loving the camo pieces, I am waiting for the arrival of both colors! I am sure I will have just as much fun mixing and matching both colors as I am with the ruffle print set in the black and red. I am also happy to see the umber color back I brought this color (dark umber) in the super ponte pant and discovered with your suggestions how beautiful the umber works with so many other jewel tone colors. I hope the umber color stays in rotation!

Good Morning Louis, I was wondering if the Super Ponte Pants will be available soon. I’ve been watching for the taupe, gray and tan pants for a while now. If I may, I’d like to request more Whisper Knits with 3/4 or long sleeves, tunic length in the colors of hydrangeas ( blues to purple). Thank you for creating such beautiful clothing! XO
Dear Linda, the Super Ponte pant is due in Oct. but since it is a reorder the usually post them as soon as they get into the warehouse and are processed….so thy may be avail sooner. I would start looking mid Sept. Request noted
I have been having a recurring problem with qvc since last fall. I have order Linea items (full price) and have sent “returned” items instead of new merchandise. Of course I have called customer service, but it happens again and again. It seems to me that they have changed their policy on how they handle returns. Has anyone else had this problem?
Dear vickybliss……I wish it were in my power to fix this problem, but it is not. I always pass along the problems sent to me to my buyers who hopefully send them to the right department, but the wheel moves slowly if at all. They will always ship out returns as new, but they should at the very least inspect them first to make sure they are in perfect condition.

This is Patty from Houston. I asked you a couple of months ago about A266305 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Printed Cardigan and Tank Set because I loved it so much! I will be taking it to France in a month.
Anyway, you suggested a similar cardigan that would be coming out in July. The only one I saw was very pretty as far as the colors go & I liked the fabric… but my husband didn’t care for the thick black stripe down the back.
If you can, please make another cardigan similar to A266305 – in the same cool fabric. It is perfect for Houston summers and packs so well for travel. I got the blue and love it! Thank you so much! I love your things! Can’t wait to see your Fall pretties! Happy thoughts & God bless, Patty
I had to come in and proudly say that I found a new way to style the faux shantung jackets. I was ecstatic to see the way it turned out. I wore dhoti pants (like these Manas Crafts Dhoti Pants for Women Wide Leg Elastic Waist Loose Pajama Comfy Trouser Yoga (S) White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9KTNGF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MTWtDbSS1GK90) and the lime jacket (I could also wear the pink and azure) buttoned in the center only and a statement necklace like this (https://images.app.goo.gl/HoJ6Xd7vAcPcfVfD7). If I tone down the necklace, I could also wear a gold embellished belt. So much more in love with the jackets now 😊 thank you for all you do and looking forward to wearing all your new offerings.

Oh, Louis I’m so glad! I especially love that its a longer jacket – a true blazer. Even though I’m short, I find the short ones make me look even shorter! Jeans, WK turtleneck, shooties, scarf – DONE! While I lust after the iconic Balmain blazer, yours fit me better and I can have one in each color! I may be in London when the new colors launch in October, but thank heavens for hotels with WIFI!
Dear Susan, actually it’s longer blazers that are getting all of the editorial pages in the fashion mags. Harpers Bazaar has tons of pictures of all kinds of blazers, but they are all longer in length.
Hey Sheesh, thanks for the heads up on A282506…I just went over & bought the Malachite (or “Malachi” as the host kept saying LOL). It will be perfect for my Verde Trevi Coin necklace & earrings.
BTW Louis, I didn’t return those Verde Coin earrings with the mismatched green beads. My daughter replaced the beads with a pair of green glass beads she took off of an old piece of jewelry she had. I hope you don’t mind us taking artistic license with your design but I really wanted green earrings & they were all sold out. And I got to thinking that even if I waited for the re-order the Verde stones might still not be close enough in color for my liking. I love how the green looks with the gold color coins.

Louis, I do have A282506 in all the colors, but for the Last Clicks price of $25.78–I bought three more (violet, malachite and magenta) for backups! I’ll tuck them away–and we know those colors won’t be coming back, so I’m happy to have dupes! The A267864 cardigan is not available in my size now. There also is A295878 in Smokey Iris in inventory, but not in my size. Thanks, Louis.

Dear Shelia….I love all shades of purple, but it seems many women shy away from it….I don’t really understand why. It looks good on everyone, but the color that remains in the WK sweaters is always purple. Two great buys are the A282506 and A267864 both in Purple. You may own them already

I already purchased the iris moss crepe top. It is a beautiful color.
I am planning on wearing with the green faux suede pants once it gets cooler.
Disappointing that more ladies do not try it. It is such a cheerful color and brightens up one’s day.
I have been wearing with the white crops during our warm weather.
I already own a lavender faux suede dress that I use as a dress and a topper so I would be out on the trench.

Dear Barbara, without being able to put one next to the other it’s difficult to tell if they are the same, but they are in the same family. Your Loden may be a little grayer…..hard to say.
Hi Louis, I am so happy the Scythe set has been reordered! I missed out on the original order, wanted the Copper but it sold out. I will get the new Chocolate since the Copper didn’t make the 2nd round. Is there difference between the 2 orders since the item numbers are different?
Dear Julie….they are exactly the same. When an item sells out and doesn’t get reordered in a certain period of time the system “kills” the style number so a new one has to be established. It’s basically paper work.
Oh my, Louis, I am dismayed that we only get one new WK item for Fall/Winter season. WK is my very favorite fabric. I could wear it forever! So I’m wondering—is there a top of any sort that might be an up-sell to the plaid Big Deal Blazers? Of course I have a gazillion WK pieces and likely have something that will go with the plaid blazer.

I wore an oldie but goodies yesterday, your express brown Boho 19927, a white Kate Blouse and Russian gold Baubbles. I took the LIRR out to the Island for a bridal brunch. It was hotter than Hades and I thought if I couldn’t be cool….at least I could look that way! LOL

Louis, thank you for the WK update. I have a question for you about reorders. If the Q simply restocks colors that are already available in an item, but doesn’t add any new colors, is that considered a “reorder”? When you said that there were no WK reorders, I was wondering about the WK items that are limited in size/color. Does that mean that those items are likely to move to clearance status?

Dear Michelle. It doesn’t matter if the reorder is for new or old colors it’s still a reorder. There are no WK reorders due to budgets. I hope they do not put styles, like the TN, which qualified to be reordered on clearance. I’m hoping that in the future they will consider reordering the styles that should have been reordered.

On occasion I’ll do a sequin set from Bob Mackie and this spring I needed a whimsical beachy T-shirt for vacay from Quacker Factory. Bring on the newness for fall’19/winter’20. Oh yeah, can’t wait for a Gemini piece. How about something with an Evil Eye in the future?

Hey LDO–I had a question about a fabric and I’m pretty sure you’ll have an answer. What is “boiled” cashmere? Is it thick and felted or still soft with a knitted feel?
Also, while I have you, are you showing any new longer cardigans this fall? I’ve worn mine out and am needing something new!
And finally, everyone wants to get a close up look at the new coin clip earrings. We were at a fancy dinner and someone wanted to know if they’re Bulgari which as you know does some great coin pieces. I was very happy to tell her that they’re actually a very collectible piece by the legendary designer Louis Dell’Olio! I think I’ve worn those earrings at least 20 times and always a compliment! Comfortable, too.

Dear Kate….so good to hear from you…..A boiled cashmere and a boiled wool are the same process. They used to boil the fabrics [not sure if it’s still done the same way], until they couldn’t shrink any more. This made the fabric very dense. How thick and dense it is would depend on the weight of the fabric it began with. The softness is definitely not the same, but a boiled wool cashmere should still retain some softness. Years ago I did boiled wool jackets for QVC, too expensive now, they were made out of wool knit. After the process they were definitely dense, but still had a softness. I would think any brand selling boiled wool would keep as much softness as possible so it couldn’t be compared to a regular wool……..No new cardigans this year….I had a beauty but it wasn’t bought :[……..Glad to hear your earring are such a hit…..I’m working on a Zodiac group!

If you look at the QVC picture of the Verde Trevi necklace you will see the variation of the green beads. Some look almost white, and some are deeper green, like Jade would be.
I am so disappointed. First I bought the Trevi coin earrings in red & they sent me the necklace instead. Then I ordered the Trevi coin earrings in green. They arrived today but they are 2 different shades of green beads. One is an opaque jade-like color, looks like it has a blue undertone. The other bead is a clear lighter green shade & you can see the string through the bead. They came packaged separately in the box, one was in the black mesh bag & the other was in the little plastic ziploc. I really love them but wish they matched! I will have to return them & when the reorder comes in I will try again…third time’s the charm! LOL

Dear Julie, out of all the colors the Verde will have the most variation. If you order it again it may be better but it may not. This type of stone has a lot of variety of color.

Dear Sarah, The new faux suede pant is a boot cut style. It will be avail this Oct in Loden Green, a very important color for me this fall, and Espresso brown. Two very classic colors.

Dear Kate…..I can tell you that August is about TRANSITION….Northerners can wear these clothes Aug, Sept Oct and into Nov. and styles all winter too. For my Southerns this is all around year wear.

Louis, we’re going to Jamaica next week for out 40th wedding anniversary. I am planning my packing, and it’s so easy! Just, which Linea to bring. Moss Crepe dresses, boho skirts, tropical Kimono… One of my FAVORITES right now is A349655 , the exotic floral printed top in the sapphire multi! Yesterday we went to New Orleans to get a same day passport. I wore the black multi Wild Flower Cold Shoulder top. People walked up to me on the street, and told me how pretty it is!

Good afternoon, Louis. The weather here has just been summer perfect the past few days. Hope it is lovely there too! I am packing for a much looked-forward-to family vacation on a lake in lower Michigan. It’s really the first summer in a few years that we can actually relax. Watching my sons sail and play in the water with smiles on their faces will bring much joy. For some reason though, I have been thinking about your suede pants, so my thoughts must be turning to autumn. On your last show, I thought I heard you say that the suede pants would be coming back in espresso. Lovely color in suede! I missed the first go at these and I’m grabbing them up this time. Today I was wearing A233947 – WK sleeveless mock neck top – when the beautiful A351112 arrived in my mailbox. I quickly unpacked it and tossed it on. I must say, that beautiful “tropical” version looks terrific with my Lime colored mock neck. I wasn’t expecting that but it is crystal clear how “easy” it will be to mix this kimono with a whole lot of Linea in my closet. And those incredibly wonderful WK mock neck tops which I purchased in all 6 colors (and 2 in black) back in 2013, all still look fantastic. I’m wearing them a LOT this summer on the cooler days and they get wear all winter long. I reviewed it at that time and could write an even more glowing report on them now after all these years of very satisfied wear. All still look fresh and new. THIS is why I have such a soft spot for this wonderful line of clothing! And so many combos playing with my Linea wardrobe in ways I haven’t even thought of yet!!!! Who else achieves such a feat? Thank you for sharing your talent, skill, meticulous workmanship and eye for color with all of us. And so affordably!!! Will be wearing Linea as long as you keep producing these beautiful pieces!!! (And thank you for my bulging Linea jewelry wardrobe!)

I very much love the silhouette and fabric of the new moss crepe top. A347494. This year round basic would look great in spring/summer as well as fall/winter colors. I could easily make this my go to “t shirt” alternative. I hope this is successful and more colors are ordered.
