    Namealreadytaken,

Would A253411 be the style # for the Scarlet WK skirt? Video is still up. I pulled my skirt to get the #.

Faux suede trench is available to order on Q. A370421. Got the versatile black, already creating outfits in my mind.

  3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sarah……I find other than food and gas, most of my purchases these days are want more than need….LOL

  4. namealreadytaken

Louis, I still have the red midi skirt from a few years ago. Is this blazer in the ballpark with that skirt, or do you recall the skirt I am referring? It is a great skirt, one of my favorite pieces from the past.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear namealreadytaken….A midi skirt in red??? My mind is a blank, and I have done so few red skirts. I really don’t know. A style number may jog my memory.

  5. Sarah

    Dear Louis
So thanks again for the facebook live it was great and reminded me of my visit to to the Tomes-Higgins house in your neck of the woods.
As you state’ sometimes it is want over need’ that drives our purchases. The faux suede trench was such a decision. So I went for the espresso, though
it is not very cool here in the deep south. It just looked so nice, and I love my red long trench and my slim faux suede pants. I had to order. I’m anxiously awaiting
the posting of the faux suede pants this season.
Here is link for short faux suede trench/ thanks again Louis.

Two questions; Can you describe the vino a little more? I have everything in Port including the blazer, will it go together? (Like a horse and Carriage 🙂

I’d like to order the bow earrings in clip. The picture shows a clip, but there is no option only pierced. Do you think there should be a clip option?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Karen I will compare the vino and port tomorrow. I do know the port is much darker. The Bow earring comes pierced only. I don’t know why they keep the clip picture up.

  7. Suellen

All colors and sizes of new Blazer are now posted. Been waiting for this!

  8. Kathy/Wis

New Blazer colors in black and forest green with broken sizes.

  9. Barbara C.

Louis, I just ordered the Victorian earrings in pierced and wonder if I should have ordered clip…..are they heavy or light? They are lovely. Thank you. Barbara C.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara, clip is not avail. Our earrings are always weighed and tried on by all the women I work with creating and manufacturing the jewelry. The weight was within standards and no one found them heavy.

  10. Dawn

    Good Morning Louis!

I’m excited to see how the VINO trench will be styled. I read the description where you stated it was a raspberry wine color. Would you mix it with Dark forest green, Navy and your previous Aubergine and Ports?
    Thanks for all you do

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would definitely mix it with navy, espresso and dk forest green I will have to look and see how the aubergine [if I can find ant] and the port look with the vino.

  11. Sheesh

OK, Louis, maybe I exaggerated–slightly—I do have well over 100 pieces of Linea jewelry—I’ll have to do a more accurate count—LOL. I started with the Pearls with the Black and Gold beads–3 strands of differing lengths. When did you start with the jewelry–2009/2010? Going to count…I’ll be back…

    Hi Louis
Will the reorder blazer A 343162 be available for purchase on the 10/15 show. I love those blazers. Purchased all 3 last year.
Also what about the one new whisper knit style. I am craving the yellow.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne…the blazers aren’t scheduled for the 15th or 16th so my best guess is they will be avail sometime around the 30th when the next show is scheduled on the 30th QVC1 at 11:00am, but since it is a reorder they can post it anytime after the 16th. I would also say the yellow sweater will be on that show also.

  13. Sheesh

Yes, Louis, I do have that double sided shiny gold cross with the bezel set multi-stones. I think that is my favorite piece out of the 100’s of pieces I have of your jewelry. I have worn it so many time over the years. I love the chain on that necklace, too! The chain on the Hammered Crosses that I mentioned above is fabulous, too. I am one who prefers the shiny gold—I like bright shiny objects–what can I say? I guess I’m just an old magpie!

  14. Sierra

Cranberry it is then. I did shy away from the yellow blazer in fear of looking washed out (I’m extremely pale with golden blonde hair). Opted for caramel.
I hope to secure the forest green blazer to layer the necklaces with that. Will waft down the street à la Rossetti’s harp player.
    http://www.rossettiarchive.org/docs/sa814.rap.html

  15. Kate

Can we get an update on the new no-run tights? I think this month?

  16. Sierra

Thank you Louis and Sheila for your input on the harp. Louis, you did show the harp with an enameled ribbed bead necklace. Very stunning look but I missed out. I now tell myself with Linea to ask forgiveness from my budget rather than permission.
I don’t have too many WK, but my vote is for the WK kimono cardigan. That’s a workhorse for me

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sierra, I tried the Harp and the Capri in the multi on with the new cranberry v-neck sweater and the yellow plaid jacket with a cranberry beret and jeans….WOW…..a fabulous look….and even with all that jewelry it still looks casual….for a Sunday brunch.

  17. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Today I am attending the church wedding of a friend. I’m wearing the mushroom jacket with matching pants and will either throw on the long red trench over the top (it’s a gloomy day here in the weather) or the long black trench after reading you here say that combo was chic. I’m also wearing the new ivory blouse underneath the jacket with your triple strand pearl necklace in ivory. These are definitely a wOW partner for the ivory blouse! IF and WHEN QVC “repents” from its’ sad decision against whisper knits this season, I’m hoping for 2 items I have looked for for over 12 years purchasing from your line. …. A Dark Linea Navy midi skirt in WK and a perfectly pink WK midi skirt. Somehow I lost my knee length WK perfectly pink skirt from years ago.. Two moves since then will do it. And in winter I love the midi length. Actually the knee length was not really WK but an acrylic blend I think. But I still have the cutaway cardigan that went with that skirt. I realize I’m pipe dreaming but I’ve never given up hoping I would one day see the classy, midi skirt in deep dark Linea navy and in the perfectly pink. Have lost over 50 pounds this year and I’m thrilled to report being back in the A217979 riding jacket with 4 front buttons in fawn and the A237554 jackets in both the blue and the brown combos as well as the herringbone jackets and the houndstooth jackets. I greatly look forward to the new reorder of the blazers in forest green and scarlet red and caramel but in my present smaller size. I lost the weight the hard way, in much sorrow after the death of my sister in July and followed by the death of my oldest living brother in August. And with agonizing for another brother in chemo and radiation at the same time for a terrible cancer in his face. But the loss of the weight has lifted my spirits as I try to adjust to the family loss and look to the future. I learned a long time ago NEVER get rid of your Linea in smaller sizes. One day your body may surprise you and you will once again look and feel like dynamite in those smaller blazers. I’m really missing being able to get my favorite whisper knits in smaller sizes as well. Maybe next year…. Thank you for your wonderful designs!!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

My Dear Nancy…..what loss you have had, my heart breaks for you. You are one brave and strong woman to deal with all of this sadness…..you’re in my prayers…..Wear the black trench with the mushroom….it will be stunning with the blouse and pearl necklace……I too have a closet full of smaller pants and jackets…..maybe one day.

  18. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, FYI, the Harp necklace didn’t come with a companion beaded necklace–but at the same time, there was a cross necklace, that had little seed beads, that came with a companion beaded necklace—but it, of course, works with the Harp necklace as well. I have them all, as well as all your original Byzantine pieces. One of my favorite necklaces is your hammered double sided cross from about 2012! Such a fabulous piece! I’ve got the gold with red/purple sides and I have the gunmetal with the black/amber sides. I think it also came in Blue/Green–wish I had that one, too. Love that they are shiny metal. I’m easily distracted by bright, shiny objects! LOL!

    Sheila

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sheila…..thank you for keeping me straight…You know my things better than I do!!! LOL I too love those crosses! They were fabulous. Do you also have the smaller double sided cross that had multi color stones?

  19. Goldie76

Chris S., that cardigan is a treasured one for me as well. What a brilliant suggestion to have more of this cardigan. Please, Louis. This is an elegant cardigan and, as Chris wrote, it has a perfect weight.

  20. Chris S.

    Louis,

If we are lucky enough to get more of your beautiful whisper knits, I would like to request some new things in your lighter weight whisper knit. Yesterday, I needed a cardigan to layer over the new sapphire blouse and scarf. After searching through my collection of whisper knits, I came across A237402 in black. It was the perfect weight layered over the blouse. Since the temperature was predicted to drop towards evening, I carried the black reefer coat. It was the perfect outfit for an opera matinee in Chicago. (Of course I was wearing the black super Ponte boot cut pant, as well.)

    Thank you!

  21. Enjay

Louis, your Facebook video was terrific! So much fun to hear your descriptions and comments! I adore these blazers – I own last year’s black, mushroom and port, and plan to jump on the caramel as soon as it’s available. I’m so happy that I bought the caramel whisper knit turtleneck last year. Can’t believe the Q didn’t bring in more of these perfect sweaters! The turtleneck and original v neck are essentials for me – I have a stack of colors in each style. And speaking of whisper knits … I own the shorter skirt, sleeveless mock neck and cropped cardigan in navy, black and heather grey, and wear them constantly. Fabulous pieces! It was a ridiculous decision by the Q not to bring more in. ‘Nuff said!

  22. Ruth

Heads up for Linea jewelry lovers!
Four of the Byzantium Collection have been posted on QVC:
    Byzantium Station Necklace
    Byzantium Cross Pin/Pendant Necklace
    Byzantium Cabochon Earrings
    Byzantium Multi Link Bracelet

    Also posted are:
    Victoriana Necklace
    Victoriana Earrings

Please check on QVC for actual names and numbers.

  23. JBCinSF

Louis, I cherish my petite length whisper knit pants. While you had them recently in black and merlot, you have offered them in the past in forest green and navy.

I would LOVE to have them back. Any chance?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear JBCinSF….it is SO OUT OF MY HANDS, what gets reordered. You should join the chorus on the Linea Forum that was started about WK reorders, and state your request. That’s the best I can suggest.

  24. Sierra

Do you think either of the Byzantium necklaces or the Capri could be layered with the Harp necklace? I want a look that channels the history and mythology of the harp, Celtic bards and fairy music and all that.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sierra….sorry for the delay….I didn’t forget you…..just had to find the Harp necklace!..The HARP necklace and the CAPRI necklace in the Multi look FANTASTIC together!! They both have the exact same color beads and gold beads so they look like they were meant to go together. I would wear the Capri necklace on the shorter length so the gold beads of the Harp show….but they are great together. I hadn’t thought of putting them together. If memory serves doesn’t the Harp also come with a companion necklace of the color beads? If so try them all together…..Also the J482654 Capri bracelet and the J482464, the Capri earring both in the multi, also look fantastic with the Harp necklace. All worn together it makes a fabulous statement. Beautiful for the Holidays!

  25. terrie crawford

Louis, Would love to see you come out with a wool or wool blend blazer for winter to wear with our winter weight pants and skirts in different colors including gray, black, navy, dark tan, burgundy and forest green. These would be so welcomed and it is difficult anymore to find nice winter weight blazers. I have several all wool skirts and pants but need the blazers to complete the look for winter. Just a suggestion!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear terrie, my buyers will not by wool blazers from me. Maybe they buy them from other vendors, but not from me….the price will be very high.

  26. Ruth

    Dear Louis,
I really enjoyed your Live Chat on Facebook yesterday. It was great to see you present the clothes and jewelry in the way that you know is best. I appreciated having you take us on a tour of your Gathering Room to show your different possessions and explain their origins and significance. I loved seeing Sam and Lily – what sources of joy they are! All in all – Bravo! A true success! I’m looking forward to more!
    All the best, Ruth

  27. lrmuffin

I watched your video when I came home from work and wow. Even better than watching you on QVC! Informative and entertaining, and closeups of the clothing and jewelry too. Can’t wait to get the forest green jacket and both of the faux suede pants.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Irmuffin….I agree with you. We decide how to show the clothes and jewelry, not a camera man who doesn’t really know what to zoom in on. We have the time to really describe and show the clothing and jewelry properly. I’m happy doing it this way. For me it’s much better

  28. Pratt

Sad story – all 4 of my blazers were ordered the moment they posted. I see that the ups tracking says delivered on October 3rd but I haven’t received it! Checked everywhere possible and in the leasing office and with neighbors to no avail! I am devastated.. there is not even a single blazer in my size anymore.. makes me so upset.!! I ll have to hunt for these now but size 2 rarely becomes available.

On a different note, loved the live video and what an awesome place you have by the water! It was great to see you bright and happy. Now I should start looking forward to the scarlet and caramel blazers..

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pratt…..that’s a terrible story. Who supposedly delivered them, UPS??? They should track them down and make the driver responsible. Can you go on wait list? You never know. I’m sure in two or three weeks sizes will start showing up. They take a while to process them back into the system.

  29. Michelle

    Louis,

Like the other ladies, I loved the Facebook Live session today. It was so relaxed and informative. And it was wonderful to have Sam and Lilly join the fun. Needless to say, the blazers and the jewelry were gorgeous. I can’t wait to add them to my Linea collection.

The color of the blazer that you couldn’t recall is Port. I’m actually wearing it today. I felt like a kid in class when you were trying to remember, waving my hand in the air saying..”oh, I know that answer!” Lol.

Looking forward to more sessions like today. And maybe a few new sneak peeks.

    Michelle

  30. Barbara C.

Dear Louis, I LOVED the Facebook show with you and Jennifer today. It was relaxed and you could say what you wanted to say and take the time to say it. I am so looking forward to more videos in the future. I have one suggestion. Today you pointed out how the extra fabric in the back shoulder made the garment fit right. Could you do a segment on how to make sure we are wearing the correct fit on garments? Shoulders, sleeves, pant length, etc. It would be wonderful to hear this from an expert! Thank you for today. Barbara C.

  31. Melissa W

Loved your Facebook live chat! Just watched it now as I had to take my senior girl to the vet for a luxated lens. ☹️

I loved seeing your girls!! 💕 Mine are my audience too when I’m trying on clothes.

I’ve decided I need the caramel as well as the forest green blazer. Caramel is a better color than taupe for me so it’d be a shame to pass it up. Loved seeing all the jewelry too. Wow!

Thanks for doing this for us! I just love your home. What a view!!

  32. gapeach

I really appreciate your putting the link to your facebook page up.

As a facebook non-user, I didn’t have a clue how to find it. I have copied it down, so I can continue to watch as you update it. I loved how you showed new pieces and commented on them. I agree it was even better than your presenting them on QVC. It’s a perfect addition to go along with the photographs you take and the captions you write for them. Next best thing to attending a presentation in person. And having grown up 10 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, I loved your view of the water. Can’t beat that.

Can’t wait to order several things. I think my favorite color this season is caramel, so am delighted you are showing more of that color in your fall/winter designs.

Thank you again for sharing your house, the adorable dogs and the great previews of what’s coming.

  33. Dawn

    Hi Louis!
The live chat was wonderful. The Blazers looked great. The color you couldn’t remember was the PORT. I’m ready for the Scarlet. The jewelry is outstanding. So looking forward to these chats.
    Thanks for all you do!
    Dawn

  34. Somersault

Louis, your live feed was FABULOUS!!!!!! So much better than when you were on QVC! SO enjoyable and we were able to see all the details of the jewelry. What a wonderful decision by you and what a great gift to all of us. The blazers were beautiful and love the new colors!!! Had such a good time! Thank you! oxoxoxoxo Cat

  35. Sharon

I’m seeing the talk about chats and video. I was wondering where I can find this chat and also videos in the future?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Jennifer is in charge of this, and she will be here in 1/2 hour so I will let her answer you so I don’t steer you wrong!

  36. Shari

    Hi Louis,
Just wanted to jet you a note of thanks for the
beautiful pins you have created. I purchased two
of the Chatelaines, Azure and Yellow.
Can’t say enough wonderful things about them.
I find myself reaching for them to wear so often.
I absolutely love them. And yes, I did leave a 5 star reveiw. Thanks a bunch.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Shari for the reviews….just a reminder Jennifer is on the train heading to CT for our live Face Book Chat this afternoon about 2:30

  37. Somersault

Louis, I am sooooo excited for this afternoon’s reveal and visit! How delightful for all of us! Looking forward to your visit. I have decided to turn it into a celebration……….champagne, cheese, fruit and you! What better way to spend an afternoon! See you later! oxoxoxo Cat

  38. Pamela

Ok. I see there is a FB livexwith you tomorrow, no time though…any idea. Your Facebook page has really stepped it up a notch. Wow. Pamela in SS

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela, Jennifer is due here at noon, so by the time we organize things I would think anytime after 1:30

  39. Janet Monette

Thank you Louis for responding to my request for a jogger or cargo pant. Jogger…same fabric as A262070 (LOVE) slim legs, pockets are okay, banded bottom, but not too blouson. Cargo…same fabric as the iconic A265615, zippers on cargo pockets and slim not skinny leg. Thanks considering my request. Be well dear sir.

  40. Melissa W

    Hi Louis!

I do not have any Byzantine jewelry yet. But I look forward to the Byzantium collection! I especially love bracelets!

  41. Melissa W

Thanks for responding Louis! Definitely going to get the forest green blazer. 😊

I second Janet’s suggestion for a leisure jogger or cargo pant. I would like some decent comfy pants for just lounging around the house and walking the dogs.
I like the idea of a banded bottom, if as Janet said it is not harem looking. But that’s what I prefer when I have to walk in the grass to pick up after my dogs. Sorry if TMI. LOL

I bet you’d design some cute cargo pants too.

But it was Janet’s idea so sorry to hijack her idea!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Melissa….you are going to love the FGB. Did you ever buy any of the Byzantine jewelry from the past. It looks fantastic with the FGB……very Holiday and very Chanel. If not I have a whole new group that is just as fantastic….it’s called BYZANTIUM…….a long necklace, earrings a cross that can be a brooch and a fabulous bracelet.

  42. Gay G

Normally don’t post but…Will miss seeing you on TV, but understand the reason why. Have you thought about having QVC come to you ( maybe just once a year)? I believe they did it once with Lisa Rinna. Sometime when the weather is “nice”. QVC can do all the work and stay at a hotel. You just have to give up a piece of your yard but get to sleep in your own bed. Just a thought! Or just continue to provide some video on your blog or Facebook page. Either way glad you will continue designing as your clothes are lovely. Folks always ask where do I get my clothes! I one of those baby boomers that wants style but am not 20 anymore! Wishing you the very best in all your endeavors.

  43. Janet Monette

Hello Louis, will you consider designing a leisure jogger pant or cargo pant? If jogger…not harem looking, no drawstring at the waist and no big pockets. There are designers on QVC who claim to make the best fitting pants. In my opinion yours are hands down the best. I have many.
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Janet I would certainly consider it. I actually did do a jogger but it didn’t sell well. What kind of bottom….with a rib band or plain? I’m assuming a slim leg with pockets? What kind of fabric? a novelty or plain?

  44. Joanne C

    Hi Louis

Thank you for continuing to fight for whisper knit styles. Do you think QVC means to cut back permanently or just this fall. I live in Chicago. All of a sudden it is chilly-out come the whisper knit. I own a lot of whisper knit. Today I am wearing the Chanel style with zipper front black with white trim today for work. Great Style sweater! Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Joanne….I would hope just this fall, but with budget cuts you never know. I know my buyer understand everyone wants them and she also understands that there were at least 4 or 5 that should have been reordered.

  45. Melissa W

    Hi Louis,

Wondering what your thoughts were on putting the upcoming forest green blazer with the forest green WK dress from last year, A343147. Yea or nay?

Received my ivory blazer, loooove!! Disappointed that the caramel one and the coordinating blouses I ordered at the same time are on backorder. I really want that caramel…fingers crossed.

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Melissa…..I don’t have the dress sample anymore so I can say if the colors will be the same. I try to keep them consistent. As for the silhouettes together….ABSOLUTELY YES. I’d love it with a suede boot flat or high. A riding boot would look great too or a sleek high heel.

  46. Somersault

Louis, loved the Ralph’s Club video! Thank you, Ruth! Well, I have a Louis’ Club outfit!!! Your Tuxedo jacket, black sequin pants, just ordered a men’s wing collar shirt and bow tie, I have black studs and will top it off with your new Black Suede Trench Coat when it becomes available! Another fabulous Linea look! At 73, I have no hesitation in wearing this to a formal affair coming up and pushing the envelope! Love that I now have another “formal” Linea look all because of you!!! oxoxoxo Cat

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cat, 73 is just a number! I see people younger than me who act and look older…..it’s attitude and how we take care of ourselves. You will rock that look!

  47. Michelle

    Louis,

A suggestion for you. It would be wonderful if you could list your scheduled Facebook Live chats on the “important dates” page of your blog. I visit your blog daily, but only occasionally go out to Facebook. I suspect that’s true for several of the Linea Ladies. Posting the dates on your blog will let us plan for your chats, just like we used to plan for your shows.

Thanks! As many have said, we are happy that you are so happy with your decision. It will be fun finding new ways to stay connected.

    Michelle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Michelle, I think they will be more off the cuff, but I will pass this along to Jennifer.

  48. Linda

    Dear Louis,

Thank you for responding to my question regarding caramel pants with the yellow blazer. I leave for Aspen this week and they are already in my suitcase. In the lighting in my home I think they look wonderful together. Under the very harsh fluorescent lighting at the dry cleaners, the jacket looked completely different so I thought I’d ask. I have the espresso pants but I’m already bringing so much… I have all my caramel pieces ready to go but the coat will stay home – it’s supposed to be 11 degrees Thursday so I’ve opted for a warmer one. I’m bringing all my coin and chatelain jewelry and traveling in the pecan sweater with the chocolate/black jewelry which looks terrific. I’m also bringing the cranberry and caramel embroidered sweaters and will wear the caramel turtleneck under. I’ve worn them with turtlenecks from the beginning. Jennifer suggested this too. I’m also pinning the chatelain brooch to the scarves tied on purses. Jennifer suggested that – something I used to do but had forgotten about. Thank you again for all your beautiful clothes and accessories and this blog!
    Wishing you the Very Best!
    Linda

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth….thank you so much for the link…When Ralph does something he does it to the 9th degree….The entire thing was perfection!.Ralph is the last great designer in America. He is the end of an era

  49. Ruth

    Hi Louis,
I just watched the video of “Ralph’s Club 2019” and loved seeing so many pieces that look like they came out of your collection – tuxedo jackets, sequined pants and trench coats. I’m inspired to wear my Linea versions as the weather gets cool again.
Question – where can I find the video mentioned of Jennifer at your house? I’d like to watch it but can’t seem to find it.
    Ruth

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s a question for Jennifer, she’d the media darling. Can you ask her on face book?

  50. Nan

    Hi Louis,
I’m still trying to decide which color trench I just have to get, even though I live in FL. Could the dark brown faux suede work with your wonderful mushroom blazer and pants? Thanks for your help. -Nan

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would think so, but I would prefer the black over the mushroom with white or ivory under the suit…..very chic.

  51. Linda in AZ

Hello Louis…I just received the inspired Right Hand of the Father cross. I chose the gold metal, as that is the one that spoke to me. It is very elegant and sleek. When it is worn, the crystal is on my right side, and that makes it very personal. Thank you for another lovely design.

  52. gapeach

I got the Chanteline Brooch, (which I love, by the way), out this morning to attach to the lapel of the blazer, (which I also adore), and discovered part of the clasp on the back had broken off. Will I be able to send it to the address you give for items to be prepared? I have had such good luck with them before, so I’m hoping this is the way to go. Also, is the amount to cover the post still the same? I thought I’d better check before I sent it off.

I am so sorry to hear you won’t be on-air anymore, but I think, under the circumstances, it’s the best way to go. And I’m comforted by the fact you will still “talk to us” via this blog and facebook. I have gotten so many styling ideas and other great information in the years you’ve explained things and answered our questions. And I’m thrilled you will still be designing the style of clothes I love wearing.

Hope you are felling better and healthier each day. Sounds like today is a beautiful one up there. Thanks again for all you do for us.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

gapeach….yes, everything is the same. I’m sure they will make it stronger than it originally was.Sorry for the problem. That’s such a pain!

  53. Carol

QVC knows better than to rile up the Linea Ladies!

  54. Sheesh

Louis, we’re also fighting for you and the Whisper Knits! I personally called Corporate and complained and they called me back and said they would speak with the Buyer. I think others of us have called, as well. We are not taking the non-ordering of our favorite fabric lying down! We’ve been down this road before and we are prepared to do it again! Carry on, my friend!

I’m so looking forward to the Scarlet, Caramel and D.F. Green blazers. I have the Ponte pants in all three colors, all three suede pants, and the caramel and scarlet trenches. Now all I need is that embroidered tulle skirt! Holiday parties start the first of December. Is there any chance that this will be available in November? Is there a special coordinate to go with the skirt? Inquiring minds and all….

  56. Sheesh

Thanks, Louis. I’m in for both the Scarlet and the Dark Forest Green Blazers. I was able to pick up the Dark Forest Green Faux Suede Pants to go with, but the Dark Forest Green Ponte Pants are gone in my size, as well as the Dark Forest Green WK Turtleneck. I know this is a very big sore spot, but can we get another couple of WK basic pieces in Dark Forest Green to go with the Blazer and with the Dark Forest Green Leather/Knit Big Deal coat? A Midi Skirt in WK and a Mock Neck Tank perhaps. I guess we’d have to wait until next Fall, right? I do love the column of color—nothing is more flattering! Thanks.

Shelia…..I would love to bring you many WK styles in many colors, but it’s not up to me. I really pushed for the TN, but as you see, I lost the battle……but not the war…..I will continue to push!

  57. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, can you tell us what other colors the reorder Blazer is coming in besides Scarlet? I’m in for the Scarlet, of course, but for some reason I had in my mind that it was coming in Dark Forest Green, too! Was I dreaming?

    Sheila

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shelia…..The reorder blazer will be coming in Scarlet red, as the long trench coat, Dk. Forest Green as the Super Ponte and Faux Suede pant, Caramel as all of the Caramel pieces, and Black is returning. These are all requested colors by most of you. These got the top votes. They all look fabulous. Since they are reorders they usually get posted as soon as they are processed through the system. There may not be photos right away, but hopefully they will post the colors. This is just a guess from past history.

  58. Linda

    Dear Louis,

What do you think of the yellow blazer with caramel pants?

    Thank you,
    Linda

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Linda…..sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Jennifer has my yellow blazer sample so I couldn’t put them together. I tried with a swatch but that doesn’t tell me anything. I need to pull an outfit together to know for sure. When I get them back I will let you know. Maybe someone who owns the pieces could also give their opinion. I’m thinking mixing the cranberry v-neck to break it up and maybe a chambray light blue shirt would give it a very Town & Country look?

    Louis,
Just when I didn’t think I needed another trench, the vino color appeared. You said it has a touch of raspberry, not brown, which makes it appealing to me. I have your raspberry pea coat and whisper knits which I love. How does the vino color compare to your raspberry pieces? Not that I necessarily want to wear them together. I’m really trying to get the idea of the vino color to know if it will work for me. If your raspberry whisper knits blended, it would be a bonus!

    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris….The Vino is not like the raspberry. I don’t want to confuse you. Many times I am asked to describe a color like red….is it blue or orange. Sometimes wine can have a brown influence. This does not. It is a wine with a touch of raspberry. I can’t say if the raspberry WK will blend since i don’t have them, but they just might

Louis – the necklace with multiple rows of beads that was shown on the red top of the trench coat pictures – is there an item number ? Thank you

  61. Somersault

Louis, I did as well as others. Someone else posted your statement to us as well that includes the wording Please do not post on the forums!!! Another idiot! I requested that it be removed as well. What is wrong with people????? Anyway, The Ladies Linea are very protective of you and your wishes, have no fear, we are fierce!

Louis, I am sooooooooo upset with QVC. The made an announcement on their facebook page and used the word “retiring” from live presentations. It is a very poor choice of words and it leads people to believe that you and the brand are being retired. People, truly, do not read very well and this is how it will be translated. QVC included a link to this website where you made the announcement to us and you requested that your statement not be copied and posted! Not one of us made reference to it, yesterday, abiding by your wishes. Well someone posted to the forums with the heading Louis is retired! Naturally, the comments are about you being retired, completely. QVC has made a mess of this!!!!!!!!! They are idiots!!!!!!!!!

My lips are sealed. I would hope someone posts and corrects the situation

    Louis
Any hints on when we will see the wn v neck?scarlet blazer? and the suede pants?
I have been obsessively checking on the blazers since I’m hoping to get 2 or 3.
I had a terrible time snagging them last year in a back order hell.
I was only able to get a port which I adore.
Yes- I realize I’m asking a lot, but I am on backorder for the ivory and I’m trying to avoid
    with the other treasures

I never know for sure when QVC Planning scripts anything, but my guess is that the reorder blazers will be on the Oct. 30th show on QVC1 at 11:00am. Since the Trench coats are on Oct.15th and 16th [if they last that long} I doubt they will show the blazers too, but you never know. They might want them on both shows? However, since they are reorders they could post them at any time.
