Louis, working sight unseen here, but can you tell me if the Sapphire shantung would work with the Sapphire embroidered tulle long skirt which is finally on the way to me after a long wait list?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, as I said to Writer with Flair…. the blues are not the same…..close but different. When you put them together the emb. blue is a little more green than the sapphire. If it were me I would wear the ivory jacket with the skirt, a black tank and lots of the blue glitterati necklaces!

  2. Pratt

Wow 20 years ago! Yes, the jcrew ones don’t look appealing to me. I am so glad to have found linea, my closet is slowly turning to be only linea. btw, the Jac’s garden blouse is just fantabulous. I love the silky fabric and print puts a smile. I ordered ivory and turquoise but somehow the turquoise wasn’t shipped and now it’s sold out! I got the scarf instead. The turquoise is beautiful! Like a special color which we rarely find elsewhere. Thank you and looking forward to the new shows.
    Stay safe, take care.

Hi Louis, I have been seeing the fish earrings and necklaces in a lot of places/websites all of a sudden. Is that a trend? But you made yours several years ago and none of the others are even half as nice and realistic as yours. I proudly own several colors in them. Check out jcrew website for an example.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pratt if it’s a trend I don’t know. It has to show up in many lines for it to be considered a trend. I did mine first for Anne Klein over 20 years ago and they look as fresh and new as they did then. The J Crew ones were brought to my attention and they don’t compare to mine IMHO.

  4. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
Will the new Sapphire FAUX SHANTUNG JACKET, A351115, go with the Vivid Blue Embroidered skirt (A351463 and A351464)?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear WwF….I looked at them together and they are not a match. They are all right together. and in some lights they may look better than others. I think, when you put them up against each other , the emb is SLIGHTLY greener than the sapphire jacket. If I showed the shantung jacket with the skirt I would pair the ivory with the skirt, a black tank, maybe the black satin and lots of COBALT GLITTERATI NECKLACES…..a wonderful black strappy heel. Mark Fisher has a new very bare kitten heel one and V Caputo has a great new sandal that comes in black, red and GOLD

  5. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Wuerdly I had the same experience today…..Lucky for me I always have a stash of various stoppers and backing pieces on hand at all times. Yes, I thought that was pretty odd. Kept checking all the packaging to see if I overlooked them or they dropped on the floor etc. Nope. Just a weird anomaly. Oh my! The Jack’s garden necklace is stunning and lovely as I had hoped. Even better 🙂

  6. Claudia

I received Jac’s Garden necklace and earrings in turquoise. I noticed this morning when I was going to put them on that there are no backs to the earrings. Has this happened to anyone else?

  7. Kathy/Wis

I noticed that the original color in the Maasai necklace and earrings are available if anyone missed this set, it’s a beauty.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There is probably only one as it must be a return. Why would anyone wait so long to return this fabulous necklace. Honestly I’m surprised QVC accepted it after all this time. It will be gone in a second!

  8. Lynne

Louis, the lilac / gunmetal combo is gone! The item I purchased was shown with the other four colors, not an “as is.” They must have found 1 somewhere in the warehouse.

  9. Lynne

Hi Louis, I noticed that the J353997 Nugget Necklace and Earring Set in the Lilac / Gunmetal color has been restocked. I purchased immediately; have all the other colors in multiples. Will there be any new colors added this spring for this necklace/earring set?

  10. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

    Hmm

don’t know why that last post truncated but I was writing about being over the moon by receiving a lovely box from TCJ today with the REAL cobalt Jac’s garden bracelet in it. No bill. No receipt. Just the right bracelet. And since I never contacted QVC about the mix up it seems pretty obvious to me that the jewelery company is making good on this mix-up perhaps by having QVC let them know about the mistaken ones that had been mailed out.. If so, this is just absolutely unheard of. And of course I Love, love, love the cobalt as I knew I would. I am a real pansy lover and wanted that vibe in my jewelry for upcoming Easter, Mother’s Day even St. Patty’s day.
Here’s another thank you and this one is for your Bondic suggestion. A teensy Teeny little joiner link on J288007 – a necklace I purchased from Linea in Feb 2014 in multiples, this one in purple – broke and I struggled to figure out how to save it. Bondic did the trick and was very easy to use. No surprise to you that this purple is perfect with the new cobalt Jac’s bracelet and I expect will work well with the Jac’s necklace I already ordered in what they call the “multi” color. Happy Sigh…….Please pass along my thanks to TCJC and to yourself for the very, very beautiful bracelet 🙂

  11. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Hello Louis: popping in with some happy news for a change. I had mentioned here, but only here, that I got shipped the wrong Jac’s garden bracelet. I received the turquoise when all over the box and the invoice it was called cobalt. Well today, unsought for – a lovely linea box arrived TCJ was on the return address and is on the box. There was no bill and no receipt inside the box. No where anywhere did it say QVC on anything. I’m over the moon because I adore my original choice of Cobalt and have already ordered the “mixed” color version of the necklace at QVC and wanted matching set for upcoming Easter or mother’s day holiday times AND I adore pansies of all colors. Plan on accessorizing whatever I choose to wear those times with the buttercream faux suede jacket. That, the colors of the cobalt definitely speak pansies bobbing in the breeze to me. Here’s what I think may be happening. Since I NEVER contacted QVC about the snafu…..is it possible that your jewelery company got wind of the problem and is just replacing this mix up on their own. No one is charging me for this happy accident. And QVC never heard from me but somehow TCJ knew to send me the correct version of this bracelet. And beyond all, without any kind of invoice or bill……I’m over the moon. And if this jewelery company is doing this without my ever having to raise the issue with QVC ~ then that is just absolutely unheard of! And thank you to you and to TCJ.

Grey and snowy up here today and this ray of sunshine is just uplifting and adds to the magic of this very beautiful bracelet!

    Attn Chris S.
Check with your mailman regarding the returns. Mine will take them and he scans
the QVC return label when he picks it up from me. Later in the day I get an email from QVC that it is on
it’s way back. I usually hand deliver to my mailman. It might be a solution for you.
    Just check with your mailman.
    Sarah
    ps hope you heal soon

  13. Chris S.

    Dear Louis,
You and your jewelry company are awesome! I received 2 bracelets in cobalt from your jewelry company to replace the ones I had ordered which were mispackaged. I really only need 1 cobalt and I would like to find out how to send the extra one back to the jewelry company.I don’t need 2 of the same color. I had placed the second order for cobalt as an attempt to get the correct color, not because I wanted 2 bracelets of the same color.

Also, I want to let you and the jewelry company know that I haven’t yet returned the 2 mispackaged bracelets back to QVC. I fell and broke my ankle and have no way to get to the post office right now. I’ll have them sent back to QVC when I find someone to go to the post office for me. As a reminder, I’ll be returning 2 turquoise bracelets which were packaged in boxes labeled Cobalt.

I just ordered the ivory shantung jacket!

Thank you for all you do and for the exceptional customer service you provide.

  14. designista

Louis, Louis Louis, your jewelry manufacturer is just OUTSTANDING, and has made me so happy! It is such a pleasure to deal with people with such integrity. I sent J154281 Cabochon Stretch Bracelet and J278134 Crescent Stretch Bold Cuff in Amber, Beige and Olive to be re-strung. The Cabochon was an absolute maze of small pieces. Today they arrived in perfect condition, being carefully wrapped in tissue. They are perfect, and I received them in seven business days since I sent them! The Bold cuffs are fabulous with the new Leopard Print tops. You really are ahead of the throng when it comes to design. They are more “IN” today than when I purchased them in 2013!. You are a genius!

  15. Carol

Susan, that same thing happened when I ordered the Berber necklace. The correct color arrived, and they told me to keep the wrong color.

  16. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

    Hi Louis-
You may recall I ordered one of each color of Jac’s bracelets and the colors were switched. I kept both, so it was no problem to me. I only alerted you. Today I received two new bracelets, one in each color, no receipt, from “TCJC” on the return address. It’s lovely to have two of each color, but I did not pay for this second set. What to do?
    Susan

  17. Nancy (AKA The Owl)

Louis, I was among those who ordered the cobalt garden bracelet but received the turquoise instead. Really would like to have the cobalt. Will you please be so kind as to give us a big heads up when the mix-up is corrected. Won’t order the item again until I know when I order the cobalt, I’ll actually get the cobalt and not the turquoise again. Would greatly appreciate that. Though I was not looking for the turquoise, it too is very lovely.

  18. Tylerpoo

Louis, so glad to hear of a skirt that is coming, just hope it is not too short(at least 25) a midi or below the knee would be excellent ! Thanks

  19. Sarah

    Good morning Louis,
What do you think of the navy leopard top with the Bistro silvertone necklace?
and the chocolate Bistro necklace with the caramel leopard?
    thanks
    Sarah

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sarah….I tried them and they look great together. The colors of the metal and the prints really works well, and I Love the chain with the prints.

  20. Francesca

    Hello Louis,

Will the super ponte pencil skirt, item number A347449, be returning in black? My size is currently sold out!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Francesca, but I will be doing another pencil skirt in the trench coat/blazer fabric this fall season

  21. Jojo

Loius, Just watched the shows this week and I ordered two of the ombré leopard tops in the green and the blue. They are gorgeous And the perfect weight to wear now and probably in the summer with all the air conditioning. I saw the beautiful embroidered skirt and though I’m not a big skirt lover, I am thinking of ordering it. I love the hem on the bottom with the scalloping. It is such a unique piece that I cannot resist and I have several weddings to go to this year. Plus I also bought some more jewelry because I cannot resist. Question, in the past you have had the sheer chiffon tops with the tanks that go underneath them in a multitude of colors. Will you be bringing those back this summer? The tops are perfect to wear in the humid North Carolina summers. Thank you as always for the beautiful clothes that you designed and for making women feel so special in them

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jojo….I know you will love the Leopard ombre tops, and yes you will be able to wear them into summer. Everyone who owns the original ombre top, that is still coming back in two new colors, wears them into the summer. The georgette safari shirt with the tank has reached the end of the road and there will not be anymore coming. What is avail is the end of the inventory…..The emb. skirt is very very special and I highly recommend it. I know you will be happy wearing it to your summer weddings!

  22. Noreen

    Good morning, Louis

Thank you. I received the belt this morning. Your dedication to customer service is unprecedented.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Noreen, Thank you for getting back to me. I’m always afraid these things fall through the cracks.

  23. Somersault

Louis, I left a review on QVC but I notice that there are not too many reviews being posted, lately. Seems very unusual.

  24. Somersault

Louis, I received the Liquid necklace in gold, today! I am thrilled and delighted! It is everything you said it was, I will order another on in gold because I like abundance! Louis, you never disappoint. oxoxoxo Cat

  25. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
I also wanted to ask if there ever will be any Perfectly Pink Crepe Gauze pants or skirts? How about Perfectly Pink Matte Satin blouses, tanks, and skirts?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear WwF, I would love the crepe gauze in P Pink with the matte satin. Whether the buyers go forward with the satin will depend on how the new satin shirt and tank do. If they do not sell well they will not buy again. They always look at the history.

  26. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
The Embroidered Skirt (A351463) in the Latte color arrived. When I opened up the package, Mr. Writer was there and said, “That is stunning!” It really is! I just love it. That embroidery work is exquisite! Will you be bringing it back in other colors? I would love to see a red and black combination and a silver and black combination.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear WwF….all fall reorders are being re-considered on a case by case basis. Between the tariffs, duties, increases by the factories and QVC it is impossible for Elaine, who owns the company that is in charge of manufacturing the clothes, to keep the same prices year after year after year. Elaine gives QVC the absolute rock bottom price to begin with. That is the reason my clothes are so reasonable. Any increase to Elaine would be a hardship so she must raise the price. It is up to QVC whether they can accept the increase or not……I have submitted color trials from the requests that were given to me a while ago. When I see them I will submit to the buyers the ones I like.

  27. Gloria

    Hi Louis:
Is the alabaster color close to the ivory in the Whisper Knit long cardigan and short sleeve top? I’ve ordered pants from your line in ivory & it doesn’t match the cardigan & ivory. Are you going to bring more alabaster or cream colored pants to QVC? If not where can I purchase them. Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Gloria….the alabaster is not close to the ivory of the WK. I looked and there really isn’t a pant color that matches [there are very few that are avail. I will have another ivory pant in April, but it too doesn’t match. My clothes are sold exclusively on QVC and aren’t avail. anywhere else. I can only recommend a contrast pant like navy, or black, or even the new Lt tan crepe gauze cargo pant would look soft and pretty

  28. Cathy in PA

    Hi Louis,

I am excited to hear the Lace Pant looks charming with Jac’s Garden blouse. I have the Dill pant, and have been thinking of getting another. Does the Blue pant work with any of the Jac’s Garden? And which color Jac’s Garden blouse was your favorite with the Ivory Lace Pant?

    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cathy…..I like the blue lace pant with the red and ivory Jac’s Garden shirts…..Remember this is a combination of fabrics that many might not get, but who cares what they think!!!!All of the shirts look good with the lace pant. It’s not a matter of which looks best. it’s more of a matter which is your favorite. I will say, personally I didn’t like the ivory shirt and pant as much as I did love the contrast of the red, black and turq with the lace pant. Think of it as just an ivory pant.

  29. Goldie76

Louis, I called Customer Service, and I guessed what you wrote, that the garment wasn’t even made yet. Told the rep that; she advised waiting a day or two to see if the “sell” straightens itself out (which, I think, it will).

  30. Goldie76

The order automatically switched from “Waitlist” to “In Process,” and I wondered why that happened.

  31. Goldie76

What shade of Magenta did you use for the “Crew-Neck Button-Front Blouse w/ Scarf” (A367141)? Certain shades of that color do not flatter my coloring. Perhaps you could google “magenta” and find a sample color that is close to the one you used and then copy the URL and paste it on this site.

    TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie…it’s going to be months before this shirt and scarf become avail. so I wouldn’t worry about it yet.

  32. Rudewarr

    Susan,

You’re not crazy. Same thing has happened to me. I pretty much do everything on my iPhone and some of my reviews never posted yet if I attempt to resubmit a review it says I have already done so and won’t allow me. I think there’s some kind of glitch.

    Kate

  33. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

The review posting process and timing is a mystery to me. I was beginning to think all reviews written on my iPhone disappeared. However, the reviews I did yesterday for clothing are already posted. None of the jewelry reviews are there. I checked some older pieces that I wrote about ages ago and they are not posted. I don’t say controversial things in my reviews, so who knows what black hole they are in!
    Susan

  34. Chris S.

    Louis,
Since the first cobalt Jac’s Garden bracelet I ordered was mispackaged (turquoise bracelet in box labeled cobalt), I reordered another cobalt. It came today, but again, a turquoise bracelet was in the box labeled cobalt. I’ll be returning them and am not sure how to go about getting the correct bracelet.
    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris, I was told that there was a mix up when packaging the bracelets, but they were supposed to be correcting this. I have forwarded you message to the jewelry Co. Return the bracelet again, and i will let you know when all packaging is corrected! Sorry for the frustration!!

  35. Suzy

    Hi Louis—
What is your opinion of a Jac ivory shirt and the ivory lace pants combo? Also, do you have any idea about when we will see the A265615 slim pants again. Does the reorder include sapphire?
    Thanks—Suzy

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Suzy…..I will check your questions, but the pant doesn’t include Sapphire

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Suzy….the pant is due in July….I think the lace pant is charming with the floral shirts. That said, you will be mixing two distinct patterns. Purists will never understand such a mix, but for those of us who like the creativity of mixing textures and patterns, this is a fun mix. I tried the ivory pant will ALL of the Jac’s Floral blouses and love it will all of them. To be honest I almost loved it more with a color blouse.

  36. Susan (akaCarlyTwila)

    Hi Louis!
A boat load of jewelry arrived and I am delighted with everything! Started writing reviews as I opened. I wanted to let you know that the colors for Jac’s Garden bracelet were swapped. Since I ordered both it made no difference to me. The turquoise bracelet had a cobalt receipt and vice versa. They are gorgeous!!
    Susan

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Susan so sorry for the mix up with the bracelets. They are supposed to be fixing this problem. They shouldn’t have shipped any out without checking what was inside. I’m happy you like the things you have received, and thank you for the reviews. I checked today and there are very few of them for both the jewelry and the apparel?

  37. Celia

    Tanks not ranks 😂

  38. Celia

    Hi Louis,

I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of my clothes from the last show. I have a question – I was re-organizing my closets this weekend and saw those wonderful jersey shells from a couple of seasons ago, in black, ivory, sapphire and red to go with the summer paisley crops and coordinating jackets. Is there any possibility reordered? Or new ranks in this fabric and style?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Celia I need a style number, but what ever they are they have not been reordered.

  39. Anonymous

    Louis
STUNNING!!!! That is my word for my Jac’s garden in black.
Thanks for sharing- I’m awaiting the turquoise’s arrival due tomorrow.
I think I will enjoy these two immensely.
    Sarah
    ps I completed review already.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sarah thank you taking the time to write a review. I’m happy you love your Jac’s Garden blouses.

  40. Melinda

Pretty much. The trouser socks came from an address in North Carolina, and U.S. Textile is shown as the shipper. On the other hand, the Q charged me $14 for four items and stuffed them into a single “bag.” It was my mail lady who alerted me to the cost of the small priority box, or I would never have thought to tell you. The box itself is $7.65, and the request for signature makes up the difference. Just under $11.

  41. Mellinda

Louis, TWO shipping updates! I received today the trouser socks which had been sent by U.S. Textile. Strangely enough, they paid just under $11 to send them to me, as they used a Priority box and asked, as well, for a signature. How odd is this? Then, when I arrived home, I had, in a SINGLE package from QVC, four Linea items — two of Jac’s blouses, the floral skirt and a black tank. Of course I paid the Q $14 for this one package. You must have the patience of JOB! And thanks for all the gorgeousness received today; I will post on-line, as well.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Melinda….to be clear are you telling me that U.S. Textile shipped you trouser socks and THEY paid the $11 to ship them to you by using a Priority Box and asked for your signature, while you paid $14 for QVC shipping for 4 apparel items?

  42. vickybliss

Which of A351407 “Jac’s Garden” Printed Scarf will go with which of the five colors (including the new magenta) of A367141 Crew-Neck Button-Front Blouse w/ Scarf? And which of these five scarfs will go with which of A351405″ Jac’s Garden” Printed Woven Button Down Top.? Some of these look like a natural match, but could be a miss. Thank you for your help

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear vickybliss….the sapphire shirt looks good with all of the scarves, as does the ivory shirt. The cranberry looks best with the ivory and turquoise, and the loden looks best with the ivory and red. Visa versa the scarves to the print shirts

  43. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

Hi Louis! I loved the two-hour fashion show from your home. I saw most of it live, and then saw the front segment when you posted the video. This is all just extremely helpful!!! Thank you!!
I use this blog as a guide to get dressed at least once a week and often times more. I have collected your treasures for nearly 20 years now, and love coming here to find new ways to wear old and new pieces. It enables me to “play” efficiently! I will enter a color in the search field and am reminded of pieces that are older that might combine well with new pieces. I will enter an item number (found on every qvc tag) to refresh my memory and spark creativity. I LOVE this blog!!!! That said, I have a couple suggestions for the videos: 1) List either the name of the items and/or their item numbers that are being presented. While it is fresh in my memory what is in the most recent video, I guarantee I will not remember in a month or two. As I play down the road, if this list is documented with the video, the search would bring up the video that contains your presentation. 2) Taking this idea a step further, you could also cut your video into multiples by item, also listing names and/or item numbers. This would eliminate the need to fast forward thru a two hour video to find styling and ideas on one specific pieces or colors.

I think this format is much better than the qvc presentations. I cannot count the times that I have “asked” the qvc camera person to pan and give closeups of the WHOLE outfit! They don’t “listen”!!! 😂
    Much love,
    Susan

  44. Penny Reid

My Jac’s Garden blouse in Turquoise arrived today, and it truly is a gift of sunshine on this rainy, rainy day. I absolutely love it; the flowers are gorgeous and unique, and the fit is spot on. I can almost feel spring around the corner. Can’t wait to wear it and show it off.

    Penny

  45. designista

FYI: A351410 Super Ponte Light Capris on clearance price of $35.78!

  46. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
My denim new short trench and matching cargo pants arrived. Since I purchase so much Linea, I guessed correctly as to right size for me. It is such a great outfit. I can wear it professionally as well as out with friends. It is very flattering as well as slimming. Definitely my style of dressing. The color of denim does have a periwinkle cast to the suit which is very flattering color.

  47. Rudewarr

Oh! I forgot I have one other question:

Does the new buttercream satin tank work with the sapphire wild flower ruffle pull on skirt?

    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….it absolutely does. You will find the buttercream works with lots of things. I just held it up to the rack where I keep all of the print skirts and kept saying to myself…”that works, that works, that works” I think you get the idea.

  48. Rudewarr

    Thank you so much Louis!

I appreciate your candidness with the pc pants and Venetian blouse. I know the colors of the pink and turquoise whisper knit will not be as vivid and match “perfectly” as it is different materials and different manufacturers but I like the coordination and I love the idea of mixing the colors. You had mentioned it before and ironically I found a stunning silk scarf that starts as hot pink and has an ombré effect to lime green, so it works with both my hot pink and lime green shantung jackets 🥰

I love the Grecian necklace (ALL the colors) but I’ve been debating between that and the Midas necklace (with the brown cat’s eye beads,) but I’ve been really trying to be good with my budget and my closet as I went overboard last year, I officially kicked my husband out of his closet!

I’m looking forward to the shows coming up on the 4th (and later in the month.) Can we expect the new colors of the shantung jackets to be introduced then?

    Thank you again!
    Kate

  49. Rudewarr

    Good Morning Louis!

Hope you are enjoying this sunny, albeit cold, weekend!

I, like all the Linea Ladies, truly enjoyed your Facebook show. I couldn’t watch it live as I was at work but watched it as soon as I had the time to dedicate my full attention. These shows are so much better than when you presented at QVC as you are not only NOT limited on time constraints but it has an intimacy that is just so welcoming and inclusive to your devotees. Thank you for that! And even though you tell us to play, play, play with our collection, seeing you present the different combinations brings a new depth and perception to what we have and what we will acquire. I’m looking forward to receiving my Jac’s Garden ivory blouse as I know it will go with so many of my Linea pants: gauze crepe ivy pants, gauze royal blue pants, scarlet red super ponte pants, my favorite ivory pull on pants, the list goes on. And I have to tell you that I was almost exclusively Linea this past week and every day received compliments galore: Tuesday I wore the espresso wood cut pants with espresso gauze crepe top and brass ox incense urn necklace and rolo bracelet, Wednesday I wore the navy/ivory ikat printed woven top with navy pants, Thursday I wore my column of color with my whisper knit wine pants, sleeveless tank and leather/knit jacket with the sangria Pompeii necklace/earrings along with my rolo bracelet, Friday I wore my new perfectly pink faux suede jacket with my perfectly pink turtleneck and pink multi strand bead necklace and bracelet with boot cut jeans. Day after day people comment on my fashionista style and how I always look so put together. Of course I sing your praises to all!

So now I have a few of questions:

•Although white is perfect, does the hibiscus pebble crepe pants (A351111) work with the pink striped Venetian blouse?
•Do the pink and turquoise sleeveless ribbed whisper knit tanks (A307363) work with the respective shantung jackets?
•Speaking of shantung jackets, when will the new colors launch on QVC?
•Also, when will the new colors of the inset lace and ombre tops be introduced?

I’m budgeting now as I’m already planning outfits 🤗

And now that I saw the butter cream blouse works perfectly with the espresso crinkle georgette crop pants, I have to get that too! I’m admittedly OCD When it comes to coordinating style (that’s in every aspect: fashion, home decor, accessories….)

Anyway, have a lovely Sunday and enjoy your girls!

    Kate

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

WOW Kate…..you are certainly a great Linea representative!……..There is good news and bad news….First the bad. The pink stripe is a very different color from the PC pant. The pink stripe is bluer and doesn’t blend well with the pink of the pant……The Pink WK tank and the Turquoise WK tank look good with the shantung jackets. You must understand, NOTHING dyes as intensely as the shantung fabric, so the tanks are a little less saturated and a little lighter, but still work well because they are the same shades of color. I know you said that you are a little OCD when it comes to coordinating style and color so give this a try…i.e. layer under your turq and India pink jackets another contrast color WK or whatever tanks you own, and pick a necklace that coordinates with both colors or just one of them. With a neutral bottom, like white or ivory it usually works. For instance if you put a lime or green top under the turquoise put a lime or green necklace with the or a combination of turq and the lime or green….like the original carnival necklace that came in both lime and green. Or put a purple or orange tank under the India pink and try a necklace that works with that combination. It’s easiest to get the tank and necklace that work together first and then see how they look with the jackets. Lay them on the bed with white pants to get the full effect. This mix of bright colors is very Indian like saris. The Indian women grew up mixing these wonderful colors and they know how to do it. Lots of their fabrics have gold or metallic threads running through them. Sometimes just a bold metal necklace like the new gold Grecian necklace will do the trick….It’s just color blocking…Let me know how this works out for you………The inset lace tops are due for May selling, and the new ombre colors are due for June selling. Enjoy the day!

Re Louis’ post at 11:03 am on February 29, re trouser socks. I have re-confirmed with customer service that it is, indeed, the trouser socks which are in the package which has been withheld pending signature. The QVC screen is totally in sync with mine as to time, etc. What I have learned, which may be of help to you, is that the shipper on the form from the USPS is NOT QVC but, rather, U.S. Textile and Apparel. Hope this helps, and thanks, as always.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I will look into this. That would mean that QVC isn’t shipping the socks but US Textile, which produces the Linea Body line, is.

    Louis,
I am starting to receive my purchases from this past week and they are just gorgeous! The massaai is just exquisite and I am so happy with my buttercream shirt and tank are wonderful……….so of course I had to order the black set after your fabulous FB video. I loved all of your combination ideas so of course I ordered several “completer” pieces of clothing and jewelry. I am just waiting by the mailbox for the rest of them😋😋😋
I ordered the blue trench and cargos and wondered if they will go with the red Jaac blouse? I also purchased the cobalt glitterall and red scarf. Already have the black glitterall. Can’t wait to see how it will all work together.
Louis, you just amaze me with your ideas and designs!
All of your suggestions for my trip to Florida were spot on and made me feel so special and appropriate. My sister has placed some orders after seeing mine!

    Dear Louis,

Today I received my Ivory Jac’s Garden blouse and the new Embroidered Flowers Skirt. Both are stunning, and beautiful. The blouse is as expected, a bright spring memory of Jac, and brought tears of joy to my eyes. The skirt … oooh, the skirt. The skirt is so much more beautiful than photos, or the Q presentation, or even your live show. Somehow none of the cameras are picking up the rich depth of color and dimension in this skirt. The colors are so saturated, yet without a hint of garishness … sheer perfection. I can see this skirt with all the usual suspects … my faux suede jackets, perfectly pink pieces, older pebble crepe pieces, even some of my linens. LOVE this skirt, and even better, Walter proclaims it “BEAUTIFUL” :).

    THANK YOU!

Dear Louis, I heard you won’t be coming back to QVC even though your clothes will be there. You will be sorely missed. I always watched your shows to see you & hear your comments. You’re always are kind & witty & added a smile to my day. Your designs & quality have always been a cut above the rest. Thank you for so many years of your company & beautiful clothes. Stay well & take care.
    In appreciation,
    Sandra

Sandra, I have decided not to do the shows on QVC anymore. The traveling and the hotel stays became too depressing for me without Jac with me. I tried to do it for 2 years after Jac passed, but I just couldn’t do it anymore…..I guess you don’t know I have been doing face book live shows , and then they are posted here on my website. The ladies love then because I control the whole presentation, and you can really see up close and personal every garment and pieces of jewelry…..and you can watch them over and over. The last one was this passed Thursday at 3pm….It was two hours of fun. I showed all of the newest clothes and jewelry plus some of the jewelry that just was reduced. If you scroll down and click older posts you will eventually get to the videos we have already done. We did a Christmas tour of my house that was a lot of fun to do….So, you see I haven’t gone anywhere and i think these presentation are MUCH more informative than the shows I did. You hear all of my descriptions and see all of the details. Something that often was missed on QVC….certainly with the jewelry. I still design EVERYTHING, I plan and style all of my QVC shows as I have always done. Everything is the same except I’m not there, but Jennifer is doing a great job, and the longer she does it the more second nature it becomes. Try watching the videos i think you will LOVE them too. When we do the live shows you can even ask questions for immediate answers, plus we post additional videos of me showing more items like the new Linea Body tights etc.

Hi Louis. I had to tell you how much I enjoyed your video with Jen, Karen and Kathy! Thank you all! Louis, you bring everything to life and I just love seeing you in action. The ladies looked lovely and seeing Lou and Sammy (I she was the one in the Santa Fe necklace) were wonderful moments as well. I purchased so many things afterward that I am not going to list them all, but I ordered the “tan” glitterati after seeing how great Jennifer looked in it with the embroidered skirt in gold. I could not have imagined that without seeing it on her. Thank you so much for being wonderful and radiating charm and fun with your amazing group. I think Jane Fonda should see your trench coats before she decides she has bought her last coat! Always , Nancy

Also … I bought Jac’s garden scarf in ivory. Because sometimes you just have to buy something that pretty! Now, if only spring would
come (on this cold, cold Saturday!)

  56. Enjay

My gauze crepe trench was delivered yesterday, and it’s fantastic! Classic trench style, but that fabric gives it a drape that’s super flattering and unique. I’m crazy about it!

Final comment on the trouser socks, as the import of my original post was clearly not understood. I was concerned about ALL of the socks being sent “signature required” and wanted Louis to know as it may well affect the return rate, unfairly. Period. I would never waste his time on my single order.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Melinda….I forwarded your post to my manufacturer. I am disturbed that your package needed a signature???? I haven’t heard this about any other Linea Body styles that I know of, and we have ships lots of tights and trouser socks. QVC doesn’t require a signature so I am puzzled. If I hear anything I will let you know what i have dug up!

Call back tomorrow when customer service reopens. Ask again, if not a positive response then ask for the supervisor.
I also have good luck sending an email to qvc social.
You can send tonight and I generally get a quick response.
    Social.Team@qvc.com
    Good Luck
    Sarah

  59. Melinda

I have already called Customer Service…which said “we do not send items out signature required”…and yet their screen said delivery failed due to lack of signature. You cannot make this stuff up.

  60. Sheesh

Melinda, call QVC Customer Service and find out why signature was required and also make sure they don’t charge you return shipping. Obviously something went awry, but it i fixable. Sheila

I ordered several new Linea pieces in the last few days, but was disturbed to learn, when I got home from work today, that the trouser socks were sent “signature required,” a first for me from QVC in the 29 years I have been ordering. Because of my work schedule they will be sent back, undelivered. I want just to add that I have never reported a package lost or stolen in all of the years I have been ordering. It makes me angry that this will probably be recorded as a Linea item returned, but I don’t now how to fight it.

    Hi Louis
I love your Facebook shows. Yesterday was no exception!
After seeing your show yesterday, I purchased the coin necklace, black flowered Jac blouse, black charmeuse tank/ blouse. I had already ordered the blue denim jacket and pants. I am thinking of a few other things that I need to purchase today.

On another front: I love your tuxedo jacket. I wear it often with the black beaded pants and with the matching plain black trouser pants of the same fabric. What color did you decide to bring the tuxedo jacket back in?

  63. Sarah

    Louis
I just finished watching the facebook video- thanks for all of your hard work along with Jennifer, Karen, Cathy and Sue.
It is much appreciated- it really helped seeing everything.
    Sarah
