Cardigan update: overnight WK shipment notice from CA … I now have my 2 plum and 2 bisque cardigans. Yea! But no black, still Backordered … but still a maybe. That order for black went in very early before the show when black plus sizes sold out very quivkly

The bisque jacket arrived. I am floored! It hangs so well unbuttoned. It looks like a million bucks and would go well with formal suited look as well as casual with jeans. I have loved all the trench coats in this fabric and this is a beauty too. Waiting for the delicious plum to arrive. The colors are gorgeous too and look rich. I am done looking for those perfect jackets that hang well whichever way you wear them! I think 4 buttoned jacket is my fav of all, so far, of course only after the trench coats 🙂 Thanks, Louis. Dear Pratt….when I love something as much as I love this jacket it is so validating to get responses like yours. I keep fluctuating on which color I love the best, but I have to confess I love them all for so many reasons. The Plum is such a delicious color in this special jacket. It is such a special saturated color….just gorgeous…..The Black, how many ways do I love this….countless……..but the Bisque is a gem….it is so couture, so precisely made that it is so unique and special
The 2 orders in shipment are a plum and a bisque. Yea! And I am still hoping to get the other orders, especially a black, but plus sizes in black show as being sold out.
QVC CS sent a somewhat longer version of “sorry”. The backorder was an early order in black. I wanted to get at least 1 each of plum, bisque, and black, and had already ordered go-withs… So I ordered 2 of each.

I would like to buy the Linea Grand Tassel J483440. This Fall I will be wearing a lot of black, grey, and I made a big investment in your bisque color. I feel I want to buy the chocolate version, but should I buy the amber version instead?
OHH Joanne….that’s a tough call. Th Chocolate with the black will certainly blend better, while the Amber has more of the caramel colors. One will blend, one will make a beautiful contrast. If you have a lot of clothes that will also work with the amber then I would say amber, but if as you say, your wardrobe is predominately black and grey the chocolate would probably be your bet bet. They are both beautiful so can not go wrong. This is one of my favorite pieces. There are a lot of tassel necklaces and most are very whimpy in my opinion. This is NOT it’s very GRAND.

Sorry? that was their answer??? WOW you should speak to some one at a higher level. I think these CS people are over whelmed and don’t know how to answer serious questions…..but that’s just my opinion.
1 week later 1 is on backorder, 3 are still in process, and 2 have been shipped. Yea!
But there may be a problem with larger sizes and early orders.
I just received a phone call from QVC customer service that the triple strand necklace won’t be shipped until sept. 18th. At least they called!
Ann, that is true….it was always true that’s why these were on advanced order! I honestly don’t think they are set up well for advanced ordering unless it comes from Italy.
I’m glad to hear many are receiving their new cardigans, but I’m getting concerned about mine. I ordered 6 larger sized cardigans starting early on the 18th and then later in separate orders
Hello Louis I’m playing in my closets and I was wondering if this is the year for Whisper Knit turtleneck swing sweater or just the swing sweater. Mine are looking very used afterall I wear them everyday in winter and have every color.

Plum and gray. Both are total winners in the ponte knits. The riding jacket in plum is so delicious it makes my mouth water. None of my Big Deal/wks have shipped yet, but that’s not unusual.
So I have been lost in the whirlwind of the jewelry. Are we still waiting for the three Fez-related pieces to be reposted in all colors, or have they been posted and sold out again? I’m confused.

Cindy….QVC isn’t showing any new shoes orr boots yet and it is very hard to see the true colors. I do like the A342841, the wine velvet pump. Maybe in velvet it’s dark enough not to clash, and I used to always get the A344065 knit and suede shoe boot. I like it because the knit fits closely to the ankle and leg without gaps…..,The wine “may” work but the black certainly will. I like the warm taupe with Bisque and light colors, It’s still early for foot wear, but I always tell the stylists…..when in doubt go with black
Good morning, Louis. Just received my Big Deal cardigans and sleeveless turtlenecks in Plum and Grey — yes, a Sunday Post Office delivery! — and they were in a carton! Love both colors. I usually order a size down in Whisper Knits (because of the stretch), but I ordered my regular size in the cardigans and the fit is perfect! My big deal cardigans and TN shells arrived today (regular shipping)! I ordered the plum and black, which are both outside my usual color choices (navy, greens, taupe and wine or pink for accents). The plum is exquisite and looks fabulous with my turquoise and silver western jewelry. I ordered the matching disc and bracelet jewelry for the black. When everything fit so beautifully, I went back for the caramel cardigan on one of the remaining size M. Thank you for your beautiful and timeless designs. I am looking forward to the tartan plaid boucle blazer. I’ve already purchased the magenta crew neck blouse in anticipation. You really had me at “boucle”.

Hello Louis, I was just on the Q and ran into a blazer A343162 and it looks like we had that blazer in February of this year. It shows new colors Navy and Vivid pink and I’m excited because I need Navy but love pink. Is this true for fall or winter?

Yes Joanne, we don’t foresee any delays. The order was put in months ago.
Louis- no mention of the navy and pink. I think the problem is if new colors become available under an old number the item does not show as new. If the new colors were under a new number then it would show up as a new arrival. Seems like the QVC system is not set up to show new colors of an older item number as new arrivals. This means we have to check the older numbers to see new colors of the same item. I don’t think “whoever” at Qvc understands this. It’s time for a gin and tonic now! Dixie
First of all Dixie, QVC should never post new colors that won’t be delivered for 2 or more months, because any wait list order gets automatically canceled by their computer program which caused a lot of confusion and frustration. I have spoken to my buyers about this many times but they can’t change the program? Know that, since they are reorders I expect the navy and vivid pink to be avail. at the end of Oct early Nov.

little concerned because some items had sold out and mine had not shipped even though I ordered at midnight right after the post.

Can’t believe it but I’m thrilled. Three jackets were ordered and I received the black one today. Absolutely perfetta! Two tanks also arrived – one was plum. The plum tank color is so beautiful that the plum jacket was immediately ordered. It would be impossible to gush too much. The hard part is awaiting the rest of the order. The sweaters will be magnificent too. This is the BEST jacket EVER! A note – I tried to leave a review on Q and when “write a review”was clicked the link took me to a blank page. This was tried twice so leaving a review was not possible. I’ll try again tomorrow and if it still does not work, I’ll let them know. More jackets in this proportion please.

I wanted to share something posted on the QVC site, in case you missed it. If you click on the “heritage styles” handbags, on the QVC website (it’s at the top of the page) it takes you to a video called “The Fashion Edit.” They used your Big Deal blazer from last year, along with a WK tank and super ponte pants for the first style.
The only miss is that they didn’t use your jewelry!

The PLUM is the killer color this year!
It’s incredibly rich! I’m a “Winter” who looks like Snow White and it’s incredibly flattering.
Based on actual comparisons and the difference in the saturation of colors, for those that have been purchasing the WK suite each year,
the 2020 Gray is stunning with last year’s Port. Also, the new Gray is gorgeous with the previous Blackberry.
I purchased the WK suite in Plum and the Dark Gray – they are very chic together as well. 2019 Gray WK midi is gorgeous with the Plum too.
I received my WK midi skirts and tank today so that I could compare. I’m so glad I was able to get the matching cardigan before it sold out.
Plum is a standout like last year’s Port; A gorgeous rich deeply saturated color!!
The column of color and mix and match are beautiful together.
Are these all of the Plum pieces this season?
Does the 2020 WK cardigan in Black match the 2019 WK midi in Black?

Dear Debbie….yes, after doing a tank, sleeve less TN, long and short skirt, pant, riding jacket and cardigan I think that gives anyone enough pieces in Plum to dress however they like…..plus mixing the plum with other colors! The 2020 WK black cardigan should match or at least be close enough to wear together.
Any chance that more than the original quantity of the new triple-strand necklaces will be shipped mid-September? Or will we have to wait a year for a reorder? Since two colors sold out in a few hours, QVC should reorder ASAP!

Louis, I was browsing the Linea offerings on QVC, and noticed what I think is a new color offering in A367141 (“crew neck blouse with scarf”). Perhaps the magenta color was offered all along, and it didn’t catch my attention. I already own, and love, the sapphire and ivory in this blouse. Anyway, I was wondering if the magenta color would blend with the new Big Deal WK pieces in plum? Maybe it could also work with the upcoming boucle tartan blazer?

Jeancp…you are correct, the magenta is a brand new color. One thing that was done to go with is the new Pine tartan blazer coming in Sept. I think it looks wonderful under the plum color as a brighter “accent”
The new collection is wonderful. However, I need your help. I always look good in your jackets. With the knits I need shoulder pads. Slooping shoulders, the vain of my existence! Do you have a resource?

I’m not worried, but all of the WK skirts I ordered on Monday – BEFORE the shows – are now on backorder. Very interesting. The shorter pencil skirts, and all of the WK midi skirts. Wondering what happened between Monday and today. ?. Anyway watching the other WK Big Deal pieces to see if the too change over to backorder. Hello Louis! I just had to tell you your fall collection is stellar! I was able to get all my bisque pieces and was waiting for the Fez necklace to return in the grey after the debacle QVC had yesterday with ordering it stopped. I am so disappointed as it is sold out now! I just checked. Is there anyway more in the grey could be ordered as it is an advanced order? Or is this it? What a collection! I had joined the attend Fashion Show. I was at election pole today with earplugscat 2:00pm. There was no way I could log-in. July 31 there was a icon with arrow to keystroke. Please explain how i may be more efficient in attending.

Shelia, I placed my order for the triple strand necklace around 2pm central time, right after this afternoon’s show. The item listing said advance order September 17, but my order shows “in process” and my account has a pending charge. I click on the link to go to the item page and it says “this item is not available at this time”. I wonder if it did sell out already but why would it be “in process” already? And none of the bead pieces are showing up when I do a “new item” sort this evening. Crazy!

Louis, just finished watching your show this afternoon. I purchased two of the faux suede jackets in the butter cream and the loden (I already have the blouses that match), three of the new cardigans in black, plum and caramel and the new slim leg pants in black. My credit card is still smoking LOL. The only thing that I wanted that QVC doesn’t have online yet are the necklaces so hopefully they will show up soon online. I want to thank you for the videos that you had on your facebook page, I enjoyed watching them and getting all the information about the items. I hope that you do many more because I know there’s not enough time to talk about all the details on air. One quick question, what’s the difference between the Caramel and tobacco colors? I think I’m pretty set for fall so thank you very much for your beautiful clothes.
Jojo….the tobacco is more of a golden color while the caramel is more russet or more red in comparison…they can no be worn together….they clash

Louis, I got my orders in early this morning! Wound up getting every color in the cardigan and the turtleneck, after commiserating with my friend, Sheila. (When it comes to WK especially, we apparently have no control!) Earlier, I also ordered all the WK midi skirts (my favorite) and the tanks in bisque, plum and black. Jewelry is next! A WK skirt is the one piece of Linea I’ve never bought ??? although I have bought other skirts, tweeds etc. and Embroidered of course 🙂 Cardigans in Bisque, Caramel and Plum for me, as I have the cashmere blend sets in black. Cathy, wearing the skirt with a heeled boot can make a big difference….a boot alone can make a big difference.
Kate/Rudewarr, I do love Linea! For the past few years it’s the only clothing Brand I purchase. With Linea I get classic style, superb Fabrics/Knits, superior quality and great value.
Regarding inventory, the Q’s ‘System’ allows you to put 5 of an Item into your Cart at a time. You can do this only 9 times. So the most Items you can have in your Cart are 45. So in that case you would only know that there’s at least 45 of an Item but you do not know how many more than 45 there are.
But if there are less than 45 – the ‘System’ will show a note in Red that the Item is Sold Out – or it will tell you ‘Limited Stock is available’ if, for example, you put 5 of an item and only 1 was available.
A reminder that if anyone tries this to please always immediately empty your cart.

Plus I received notification that my WK midi skirts in plum and bisque have shipped!! Yay! (I already have the black, heather grey and forest green.) Looking forward to the shows today and tomorrow- DVR is set. Although I, like everyone one else, thoroughly enjoy your videos, you and Lou are the best!

Yes, I do Cathy, because women have already told me they have had it done. If it isn’t too long, since the wait band is very flat, you couls always roll it once or twice. A good tailor would best advise you how to shorten the skirt. If you already own one of the short pencil in WK you can bring that to the tailor and ask if it can be done so you will know before you buy it. Actually you can bring any ENR sweater and explain what you want to do with the skirt and see what they say before you buy it.

I have ordered the plum midy skirt. I plan on getting the last piece of plum jewelry you showed. You mentioned it would go well with jeans.. And would like to purchase the bracelets Will the bracelet fit an 8 inch wrist..An 8 inch bracelet fits my wrist…I like the simplicity of that necklace The large roler I was unable to role over the large part of my hand….LOVE the videos!!! they are a big help and also it is like a visit with you..You give me so much information.. Dear Chris….there are prints….but…they were done more as contrasts than as tonal to the colors….You’ll just have to wait and see. They will be avail with the Nov group.
Fan Mail for Louis- Re item A34743 Linea V Neck Sweater, rayon viscose mix- I wore this sweater in sapphire today and wanted to tell you how beautiful and comfortable it is. This color reminds me of Yves Klein Blue, so vibrant! I purchased the sapphire and black ones in June last year and liked them so much. I missed out on the Ivory one in my size but did find it available from “another” source. As I recall, you have said this would not be available in future since it didn’t sell well. It reminds me of a Ferragamo wool sweater I had several decades ago. Yours is as beautifully constructed. There is always hope for new colors in this style….Thank you very much.

Dear Vickybliss, after rereading my answer to you I don’t think I was very helpful. First do you own any of the pant colors you mentioned? The loden and bisque could give a very safari vibe which I LOVE. It can be really brought to life with accessories gauze scarves in chartreuse or complimentary olives. Add some interesting jewelry like the Santa Fe torsade with the brownish suede cords and the olive pearls, or the Pineapple Fern Pendant and the companion Swirl necklace….there are quite a few jewelry pieces that would look incredible with the Loden and Bisque….not to mention ALL OF THE COIN NECKLACES and the ZODIAC necklace…..with the brown….the Cowrie Shell necklace will pick up both the Bisque and the Brown or Chocolate or Espresso…..all of the Chocolate jewelry like the Bistro necklace, the Gypsy disc necklace among so many will all enhance the combination…..and BLACK….the possibilities are endless. The 3 strand short necklace in black and chocolate chain links would be fabulous….the Black and Gold Trevi necklace and the Anniversary pendant would be wonderful too. Add the Roma coin to the Trevi for a more dramatic look…..For something more dramatic and a bit dressier add the jet Glitterati necklace or even more glam the jet Fantasy Blossom necklace would be spectacular with the Bisque tank and cardigan and black pants. That can take you to a dressy restaurant, an engagement part, a wedding etc. As I said. with Black and Bisque there are no limits. The Liquid necklace, earring and bracelet, which i think has been very much overlooked, in the GOLD or Gunmetal would be so sophisticated and elegant, but still cutting edge!……Play Play Play!!

I am making my purchase list and find myself hesitating over and over about the white blouse with tie because of sizing. It is feminine and lovely and I want it. My measurements show me at a size 10 (I am never a size 10 in anything) but I wear a Linea medium in most everything and I am thinking of sizing up to a 12 because I need the 44” hip. Just to confirm…there is no stretch to the blouse, correct? I want to avoid a return and with a woven there is little room for error on the size like there is with your stretch tops.
Dear Jackie…..neither the ribbon stripe fabric nor the tank have stretch. The both have slits, but go with the measurements. When a fabric doesn’t have stretch the measurements are usually on the generous side.
Louis, FYI, the Alabaster Super Ponte Boot cut pant also work very well with the Bisque Animal Hoodie. As the Boot Cut pant is not coming in Bisque, those who have the Alabaster might want to pick up the Bisque Hoodie. Pair with the Alabaster SS Jewel Neck WK Top or any of the Black WK Tops–good to go! Sheila
