Louis they posted the vivid pink blazer now but I really need to see the color before I can order please.

  2. Sheesh

Andrea, regarding laundering the Ponte Pants, I put them in the dryer on Very Low setting for about 7 minutes (that’s the auto timing on my dryer for Very Low) and then remove them and hang them up to finish drying. I find this works the best for me and that little bit of time in the dryer takes out any wrinkles that might be there if I had only hung them.

  3. Cela

Louis, I will pray for the Arte Modern pendant to sell out so we can get the earrings, maybe. Also, did you realize that your Cascade necklace is like the one on
A runway model in the Alexander McQueen Fall 20/21 show?

  4. Pamela

Maybe too late for some to see and take advantage of free shipping, but just saw that the new blazers are available…navy and vivid pink. Pamela in the SS

  5. Pamela

Hi Andrea. I have dryed mine on low with no problem, although I prefer hanging them as they dry quickly and didn’t stretch. Hope that helps. These are my all time favorite pants and I own every color in petite and a few reg. Pamela in the sunny south

  6. Andrea

Can anyone who has the super Ponte pants let me know if they dry them on low in the dryer or if they line dry them? I know the tag says machine dry low, but I was curious what the most advisable way to dry was. Sometimes it is actually better to dry items in the dryer so they don’t stretch, but sometimes it is better to air dry even if the tag says machine dry. Thanks in advance!

    All,

Besides free shipping today, if you belong to Rakuten, it’s 10% back! I have just ordered my multiple TN’s, plum Ponte pants and plum art modern necklace. Too bad the wrap neck top isn’t listed yet but I’m hoping against hope they post it!

    Have a great day!

    Kate

    Louis

I just happened to turn on QVC tonight and it looks like Courtney K is wearing your new bisque cheetah blouse. She looks great. I’m looking forward to wearing my bisque blouse soon (and hoping it doesn’t take forever to arrive from QVC).

    Michelle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Michelle, I checked it out and you are 100% right. She is wearing my blouse. I’m surprised since we haven’t aired it yet even though it is posted.

  9. Seka

Have posted your Note on a separate thread so it doesn’t get lost in the original post announcing the Necklaces are available. Yes – it’s important to know the Gunmetal chain has Midnight Blue Glass Beads. Many Linea Ladies are waiting for the Navy Sequin Pants and the WK Metallic Sweater with Navy Metallic Thread and will want this Necklace with the Midnight Blue Glass Beads.
Have tried to enlarge Q’s photos of the Gunmetal – and the Silver Necklace (Clear Crystal & Silver Beads) to better see the Glass Beads – but still difficult to see.
    Seka.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW…the gunmetal is for the metal links only!!!!! The faceted glass beads are MIDNIGHT BLUE to go with the midnight blue sequins!!!!!! I don’t know why they named this after the insignificant links when it is the stone colors that are important….The silver chain has a TWO TONE BEAD…….CLEAR CRYSTAL and SILVER

  10. Grace

Louis, the new WK turtleneck is PERFECTION! I couldn’t be happier with the new style and fit.

  11. Marta

I received all 4 colors of the turtleneck and they are perfection. I love the new design with the flat bottom and sleeve cuff and the length hits me at just the right spot, plus the weight of this whisper knit is perfect for layering or tucking into pants to skirts. I am looking forward to ordering the split neck sweaters as they will refresh my whisper knit ENR collection.

  12. Chris S.

    Louis,
I love your Linea navy! Are the upcoming navy whisper knits cardigan style or sweaters?
I’m hoping for a cardigan in navy.

The new turtlenecks arrived today. I really like all of the changes you made!
    Thank you!

  13. Yoko

Thank you for your response regarding Accessories when wearing bisque and caramel. I have several items that may work. A large vertical carved tiger eye pendant that may work with this combination. Also have several of your necklaces that may work. Tortse Goldtone Double chain necklace & matching bracelet, Ancient Treasure Incense Urn Necklace in brass ox, Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Roma Coin Triple Strand NecklaceI & earrings, Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Art Nouveau Style Pendant w/Chain (antique gold) and Linea by Louis Dell’Olio 20th Anniversary Necklace. And possibly the black or gold Linea fish.

As you say play😀 play play.

  14. Ann

Louis – I wrote to you a few weeks ago about the mix up with the Fez necklaces. I returned the wrongly labeled necklace, (labeled plum, put caramel was shipped). Now it seems there are no Fez necklaces available. Do you know if more are on the way. I have every other piece in the plum ensemble and this plum Fez would complete it. Thanks for all your attention. I love all my pieces as I always do!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Anne another shipment is due of every style and every color mid Oct.

  15. Yoko

Louis looking forward to your split neck WK sweater. Such a perfect sweater for me. I have a shorter neck and this design will work very well for me. I have all of your new black & caramel sweaters. Do you think bisque and caramel work together? From your video it is beautiful with black but wonder if it looks good with caramel. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yoko…..caramel and bisque can look very pretty together, but they will need a lift with accessories.

  16. Melissa W

Thank you Louis. It is sooo heartbreaking!!

As if that wasn’t enough, my 13 yr old cocker boy is having surgery today to remove his other eye due to glaucoma. He has insulinoma so I’m especially nervous. I’m praying all goes well.

Poor Lily. It’s hard to see them have issues. Give your pretty girls a pet for me. 💕

  17. Melissa W

Thank you Louis. I’m going to try and get all three of these beautiful blouses. It has been an expensive few months for me!

I had to say goodbye to my precious 14 yr old cocker last week. She had osteosarcoma and the tumor on her leg had become so big. Her poor little body couldn’t take it anymore.
I had my husband take some final pics of me and my girl. I wanted to wear something pretty and special so chose my pine floral blouse. Also wore your silver anniversary earrings.

    Just wanted to share…

    Melissa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Melissa….I am so sorry to hear about your baby. It’s a heart breaking thing to see these little angels suffering. My girls ate both 10. Sammy acts like a puppy, but Lily always has issues. I keep my fingers crossed.

  18. Melissa W

    Hi Louis!

I’m asking for your opinion once again. Do you think it’s overkill to get all three colors of your cheetah blouse?
The caramel is a must-have for me. And I really want the mulberry because I think it’d look so pretty with my plum pieces.
But then I wonder if I’d kick myself for not getting the classic bisque?

I think this is the hardest season ever in terms of restraining myself. I’m wanting every item in every color you’re offering us.

    Melissa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Melissa, I understand your dilemma……it is a hard choice. I can only say when I designed each coloration I had a purpose for each one as you have described in your question. I do think each color will enhance your outfits, and it’s always a nice alternative to add a print and not always wear a solid……so I say yes. If you can afford all three go for it. This is the last print of the fall/winter season so why not. I do love each one equally, and they are so much more beautiful in person than any picture can capture. The charmuse fabric is so silky and wonderful to touch.

  19. lynz

Hi Louis, looking forward to the 14th! You have not done a sneak peak about the wrap neck Moss Crepe top. How is this top fitting? Full list of colors? WTN is too warm for me – think this top will work.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear lynz…..don’t know if you own anything in my Moss Crepe? It is lighter than WK, but it is polyester if that matters to you.The top fits true to size and is a jersey knit fabric with lots of stretch…..Black, Bisque Caramel and Scarlet Red.

  20. Rochelle S

Thank you Louis! Another question, if you’ll be so kind. Is the scarf printed on both sides? It appears to be but just double checking.
    Rochelle

  21. Rochelle S

    Hello Louis,
Would you kindly provide the size of the scarf that comes with the new animal print blouse, please? Much Thanks!
    Rochelle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Rochelle, the scarf is approx. 9 inches wide by 62 1/2 inches long.

  22. Carol

Louis, is the wrap neck moss crepe top part of the group being shown on October 14? The split neck wk sweater?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Carol….it’s all supposed to be….I won’t know what is on which show until I get my scripts.

  23. Joanne C

    Louis
As far as trench coats – I love yours more than my Burberry. I am only 5’3” so your short trench coats are full length on me. Since I live in Chicago, my trench coats get a lot of use I own your black/black, navy/black, tan/ black. They are all beautifully tailored,TCF is fabulous, and basically so classy – perfect for my professionalas well as personal life. Last year I purchased your faux suede trench in black. It is a beauty without peer! When I wear it people always comment.
    Thank you Louis!

  24. laurienda

Dear Louis, Yes, you are correct about the gauze crepe trench. I have the black and do wear it often. I also have the wine faux suede and love it, too. It does get very cold here with our humidity so the faux suede trench is good for Texas–even Houston. Sorry to hear about the long trench, but I am happy to have your other creations. Thanks so much.

  25. Laurienda

Hello Louis, Will your long trench coat return? I missed it as I was living abroad. It is stunning. I would like to buy it so that I would need to plan a trip away from Houston to wear it. So, I hope it will return.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Laurienda, unfortunately it isn’t coming back. It was a terrific coat. You may want to think about the faux suede version or the gauze crepe version which are like the original. The gauze crepe is something you can wear in Houston more often.

  26. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
Do you have any brown pants coming in A303147 Linea petite pull on Ponte pants or
A265615 Linea knit pull on slim ankle pants. Thank you.

  27. Sylvia

Today I decided to wear my floral printed blouse, plum riding jacket, olive colored jeans with chestnut colored ballet flats. Looks FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Louis!!

  28. Barbara F

    Hi Louis,

    “Dear Barbara…..
I don’t know what your personal style is or how far reaching you like to be on occasion with the way you put outfits together, but I’d like to suggest another way to wear your Tartan and print shirt….a bit more bohemian. I would definitely show the jacket and shirt with a boho skirt and boots for a more “Sundance” look. Something with a south west vibe. unbutton the shirt and add some necklaces, and it’s a whole different look than pants and jeans.”

I’m a traditional, classic style dresser…love men’s inspired tailored clothing. See Melania’s pinstripe suit she wore at the debates…that’s me; however, I will wear subtle feminine print blouses with them, as well. For those liking bohemian your suggestion is a good one.

    Thanks,
    Barbara

  29. Nancy in DC

Thank you Mel for expressing what so many of us feel about Louis. I don’t know what I would do without him. He adds so much joy and sparkle to my life! Thank you so much Louis!

  30. Mel

Come what may… know that you are an extraordinarily gifted, kind and decent man. I am in awe of the time you willingly dedicate to providing such personal service to those of us needing your advice and consultation. I am also fortunate enough to have been “with” you since nearly the beginning of your QVC journey…to come to “know” the love of your life, the quality of your clothing, the genius of your designs and your dedication to and love of your life’s work. You are so very special, and I wish for you nothing but the best, always. Looking forward to all of the beautiful things coming our way. Bless you.

  31. nikki

Louis I meant to say, do you have any other pant/skirt coming in caramel?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

nothing nikki just the pant…..now it’s basically HOLIDAY AHEAD

  32. Nikki

    Louis,
What other color pant or skirt do you have coming in caramel, besides your super ponte pant

  33. BarbaraF

    Hi Louis,

Your tartan blazers are gorgeous. Fit perfectly. Purchased the blouses, too. Love them. I always liked to tastefully mix patterns.

Just watched your latest video and and it reminded me to ask you why you didn’t consider using Skype with QVC. It appears to be working so well with vendors. You are such a good salesman, only you can sell your clothing better than anyone else. I think that is so important.

I agree with you about looking sloppy. IMO, this country with the pajama casual has gone too far. Although, very casual is not your style, to capture buyers wearing so much athleisure and loungewear, maybe designing something casual, if still possible, but not so casual might help.

I suppose I can’t say what I want to say, so hoping you can read between the lines.

    Barbara

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara…..I don’t skype with QVC because Jennifer is the brand spokes person. It is her job, and I would not want to take it away from her……I don’t know what your personal style is or how far reaching you like to be on occasion with the way you put outfits together, but I’d like to suggest another way to wear your Tartan and print shirt….a bit more bohemian. I would definitely show the jacket and shirt with a boho skirt and boots for a more “Sundance” look. Something with a south west vibe. unbutton the shirt and add some necklaces, and it’s a whole different look than pants and jeans.

  34. Becky T from Tn

    Louis,
I didn’t see the topper with the skirt. I will look
I am 5’9” and wear a medium Will it work?

  35. Michelle

Ugh. Typo. I meant that it was disappointing that the draped neck top wasn’t purchased in every topper color. I’ll be purchasing all that are offered.

  36. Michelle

    Louis

It’s disappointing that they didn’t buy the draped neck moss crepe top, but I will play with other options as you suggested. I’m looking forward to the upcoming “Two Lou Production” video to get even more ideas. Play, play, play! Lol.

I hope that your having a beautiful day on the Sound. I love Fall on the water.

    Michelle

  37. Becky T from Tn

    Louis,
I think I already know the answer, but can you wear the sapphire embroidered skirt with the new topper or is it too long for the skirt?
I got my bisque tweed jacket…….what a beauty! Now I am still waiting on my Fez bisque necklace
Now the weather needs to cool down so I can bring out all my new Linea!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Becky…..first, how tall are you and what size are you…..I ask because it’s a lot to wear, but it can be done on the right person with the right attitude….The topper should be worn completely open with a black tank so there is relief….if you know what I mean…..I think in one of the sneak peeks there i is the black topper over the floral emb skirt and they works great together. The other skirt will look just as good……color wise they will work.

  38. Carol

Just stopping by today to send hugs your way, Louis. Can’t wait to order the sapphire and the caramel BD topper jackets. And some new tops to go along with them. 2020 will not be a year we’ll soon get over.

  39. Pamela

Sorry for typos. Don’t know what vhf is. Lol. And it’s the grey Fez jewelry. Oh the eyes.

  40. Pamela

Dear Louis. The toppers are gorgeous. Will there be any further pants in the TCF?…any of these colors. I have the black purchased when initially offered. Received my bisque necklaces and bracelets, all perfect and no issues. Even ordered on free shipping day. So many vhf other items as well. Really hope you’re not le as ving us/QVC. Thanks so much. Pamela in the sunny south.

  41. Chris S.

    Louis,
My silver embroidered skirt arrived today. It is the prettiest item of clothing I’ve ever owned. Thank you so much!

  42. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
New topper is lovely – issue which color. When will the moss crepe crossover blouse and cheetah blouse be available? They are wonderful!
Can you share with us the colors of availability open to us?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Joanne they should all be avail by Oct 14th, the day of the shows….I will be revealing all in the next two weeks….hold tight.

  43. Michelle

    Louis

Thank you for your sneak peeks. The colors are gorgeous. Is there a corresponding draped neck moss crepe top for each jacket? So, five new tops?

    Michelle

PS. I happened to turn on QVC this afternoon and saw Sandra wearing your new navy/red mini floral blouse. Sandra clearly has good taste! That blouse is a winner.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Michelle…..No the draped blouse was not bought in every color of the toppers…..They were meant to go with other things too, so the new TN will fill in the gaps, and the Sapphire will either be worn with Sapphire tops already sold or ivory, black, red etc. Think of fun colors that can be worn with the sapphire….like maybe yellow or the prints like the ombre top in red and blue for this coming spring….

  44. Sheesh

Louis, the sequined skirt and top were in Lapis, I thought, but I could be wrong. I’ll have to dig mine out and compare to other Linea Sapphire pieces and report back tomorrow. Sheila

  45. Chris S.

    Louis,
I’m so happy that you and Elaine provided the information on sizing so I don’t have to fret over getting the correct size topper. Ivory for sure and one other….I’m not a caramel girl, but oh yes to the other three. It will be hard to choose.
    Thank you!

  46. Louis, I couldn’t get the comment button to work on the sapphire BD post, so I’m checking in here. For those of us with the sapphire sequined shell and skirt, is this the same sapphire?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Deborah, I believe it is. Others can weigh in who have thew sequins and other Sapphire pieces.

  47. Pattyo

Dear Loui s. Will the faux suede pant be coming in petite? Thank you for a spectacular collection!,,,,

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Pattyo….the official word came back and they will be avail in petites!

  48. Julie

Thanks Louis, glad to hear about the slim leg of the faux suede pants. I have the Caramel & DFG & can’t wait to get the Black!

  49. Marta

I’m getting the new navy and a second pair of the black. They are so slimming.

  50. Cathy in PA

Oh, NO … LOL!!! Black, Navy and Alabaster in my favorite pants??? LOL, how am I going to spring this news on Walter! Good thing he got released with a glowing report from the neuro team; he can take it ;). Multiples of all those colors for me, and duplicates for my sister, all in our new smaller! crisis sizes … yay! I am finding Bisque to be more complementary at my face, but in a pant, Alabaster will work just fine. And did someone say “new things to coordinate”???????? Okay, I’m going to the kitchen to make Walter a cheesecake …. THANKS, Louis !!!

P.S. PLUM faux suede … PLUM faux suede … PLUM FAUX SUEDE anything! J. Jill has a new faux suede open front jacket with pockets in a great, not overwhelming style … but it would be SO MUCH better done LDO …

  51. Sylvia

I LOVE the faux suede pant! Bought it in all colors. I think It would be pretty in plum… (hint, hint)..

  52. Julie

Louis, are the faux suede pants slim leg or boot cut?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie….the leg is exactly as the original slim faux suede pant. Since the pant wasn’t reordered [it should have been because it met ALL of the criteria for a reorder], the style number was “killed”. We are bringing the pant back with a slight change to the waist band. We either made it SLIGHTLY narrower or wider, can’t remember, but it doesn’t change the pant at all. So, who ever owns the original should order the same size.

  53. Sylvia

Ohhhh, Navy for me! And a bigger size black due to COVID eating… ;-(

  54. Jackie

The Q is selling quite a few outer ware coats and jackets. Do you have any in your fall/winter collection? If you already addressed it in your blog, I missed it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Jackie…..The new topper can be worn as outerwear since it is in the same fabric as the Trench Coat. It would depend what you layer it with and scarves and such. It would be perfect for warmer climates not for really cold winters….then it would double as a blazer type jacket…..I did do an incredible Burberry type wool blend plaid in the trench coat style, but it wasn’t bought because of the price. For me, it wasn’t expensive for what it was, and I think it would have sold, but for QVC it was too expensive.

  55. Sylvia

Hey Louis! I’m planning for future purposes… What colors of Faux suede pants are coming?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sylvia….black, navy and alabaster, and each will have new things to coordinate.

  56. Seka

Louis, There has been an abundance of fabulous Linea – both clothing and jewellery – and more still to come. Planning is required.

The TCF V-Neck Topper Big Deal Show is in exactly 3 weeks. When might you post the Sneak Peek, please, it’s the only October item we haven’t yet seen (I think) – and 2 colours still remain a surprise.

    Thank you.
    Seka.

  57. Kathy/Wis

Louis, My plum pieces arrived and they are beautiful, no mix up in colors I guess I was lucky.
This fall collection of yours could be put on any runway and receive rave reviews.
Thanks for all you do for us.

  58. Carol

My replacement Fez is on the UPS truck for delivery to my house today. Fingers crossed it’s the right one. I went through CS on Monday, and they overnighted a replacement after initially having been on backorder. If I was really busy all the time, this might be annoying, but since I’m staying home 99% of the time, I’m fine with sorting this out. If the Plum Fez is half as gorgeous as the Bisque/Gray one, it will have been well worth it.

So my Caramel will be going back, but it’s not easy to part with. It’s pretty spectacular, too, but truth is I have a large amber/tiger eye collection and there are so many pieces in the pipeline that I’m going to want–like the Arte Modern and the Compass.

My plum/magenta collection will be complete when the cheetah blouse posts. For those of you who have the A267935 moto jacket in dark plum, it really looks great thrown into the mix.

  59. Rudewarr

    Louis,

I have, unfortunately, come to expect the mismanaged shipping that the Q offers, that is why I only order (and watch) Linea faithfully as it is worth the headache and hassle but my most recent experience just boggles my mind. I purchased the gray/bisque tweed jacket on the 18th when it was first posted while I contemplated whether or not to get the caramel/black as well. I decided to go for the caramel/black on the 20th when free shipping was offered. Low and behold, I just received the caramel/black…2 days later (Shocking!) but my gray/bisque is still in Process?!?! The lack of consistency just perplexes me so.

I know there’s nothing you can do nor do I expect it and I’m sure you’re probably exhausted hearing the complaints but I just felt compelled to express my disbelief!

Needless to say the caramel/black is stunningly beautiful! I look forward to eventually getting the gray/bisque…whenever that will be.

    Thanks, Kate

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….I am right there with you! It is extremely frustrating for me to do the work to ensure that you get exactly what I designed…..I DID MY JOB….but then to see how it all falls apart at the other end is exhausting. People just aren’t doing their jobs it is as simple as that!….and no there is nothing I can do about it but forward the complaints. I always get the same answer….”we will look into it”, but nothing changes….it seems it is only getting worse.
