Dear Louis, I’m purchasing all three colors of the lurex sweater and so happy to see it posted for sale! I have a question on sizing, especially since I now understand we should be ordering 2 inches larger than the “click here” measurements. I’m usually a medium in your WK sweaters, but it’s showing a chest size of 38.25, which is usually a small. Should I be sizing up?
Grace the 2 to 4 inches is usually for wovens and not necessarily for stretch knit garments
The Lurex Whisper Knit Sweater is posted on the Q!

Yes Seka, I asked them to add it to the show so I can show it with the sequin pant. It won’t have sell time. It’s a “Show & Mention” only but at least it’s posted and you will see it on a model. Betty will be wearing it in a LG. Betty and Katia will be doing the show. Did you ever see such horrible pictures!!!! There just isn’t any hope for them. It looks shapeless and baggy. What is she doing with the alabaster sweater. Is she a contortionist?????What a mess!
Louis, glad to hear they’re at least going to show it!
I’ve placed my order – for the Black (of course) and the Alabaster!
I’ll be showing the blue with the blue sequin pant.
Louis, thank you for the surplice (Middle English – surplis) video. I will wear them with my Simone Perele balconette bras.
Dear Louis,
Your Holiday collection is amazing. I am waiting patiently for all the pieces to arrive. Is there any future plans to have coordinating lurex pieces? I am hoping for maybe a WK lurex midi skirt in the lurex colors. Just dreaming! Everything is wonderful. Thanks for the heads up on the navy Nina shoes. Thank you, thank you for all you do.
What is difference between your midnight blue and your Navy? Do they go together? Thank you.
Good question…..The midnight blue refers to the sequin color and the lurex color. The WK lurex sweater is my navy WK combined with a navy lurex, and the sequins are as close to my navy as I could find [very limited choices]. They blend beautifully with my Linea navy….For example any WK solid Linea sweaters or TCF blazer can be worn with the sequin pant, and any Linea navy bottom can be worn with the Lurex sweater from the ponte pant to the new slim suede pant coming in Dec.
Louis, have you gotten your script, yet, for Nov. 5 show? Would you let us know what items will be presented as well as what will not be included? This way, I can watch your videos that will not be included and not be disappointed on the 2AM showing. Thank you so much, greatly appreciated! ……Cat
Dear Cat…..yes, I have gotten the script…..the items in the show are: the Wrap Over top, the Sequin top and pant, the WK TN, the Plaid Blazer, the Python print shirt, and the Polo sweater. The items not scripted are: the Ruffle Blouse, the Lurex Sweater….The reason I was given was COVID! Not enough people to get the things loaded so there is a back up.
Louis, thank you so much! Thank heavens for your amazing videos! I’ll post to the forums, so the linea ladies will know what to look forward to at 2AM. I will definately be sparkling this holiday season! Your fall collection is as always AMAZING! I need a larger closet!…………….Cat
Hello Louis…I am loving the Midnight Blue Sequin Top. I am 71 yrs old, and this will be my first all-sequin top. I know what you are thinking….why did it take so long? I guess I was waiting for this lovely blue.
Question: will the December faux suede pants have a 32 inch inseam? You said it will be coming in navy. I am trying to decide between the suede pants and sequin pants. At 5′ 9″, I really need the 32 inch length. Thank you so much for all of the beautiful Fall and Holiday clothing.
Dear Linda, both the sequin pant and the suede will be in reg and petite. I will have to check the length of the petite. If you ask me, which you didn’t, but I’m giving you my opinion anyway…..get the midnight sequin pant….they are once in a life time pant, and I know for sure they are long enough!
Louis, your response made me smile, because I sort of knew you would recommend the sequin pants. Yes, they are 32 inches, and very special. Even without the virus, my life does not include occasions requiring fancy dress. But I could wear them at home, every night of year, if I wanted to. Right? I ordered the blue swag necklace, and will be getting the blue lurex sweater. I will have to invent more opportunities to sparkle and shine. That blue faux suede is still on the radar though.
Linda: I enjoyed your question to Louis about the sequin pants. I have a few years on you and live in new England. I bought the first round of black 2 years ago to wear for weddings or other family celebrations. Having lost a bunch of weight I am going down several sizes but think I will do both the midnight navy as well as the black in my new size. I am gifting the larger size from 2 yrs ago to a really chic British friend of mine whose health is challenged and I know these will give her a lift. These go wonderfully and in an understated way if you will let me use that word regarding sequins 🙂 with the Navy blazer in the TCFabric as well as the Black blazer or tuxedo jacket. Lots of other options if you take the sequin plunge. Very much good luck to you and a long and healthy life, you youngster!
Louis – the Fez necklace is back in stock in all colors!
Louis, maybe the model in the Wrapover blouse is wearing the largest size. That being said, no one will ever accuse the QVC dressers selecting the correct size garment for the models or sales reps. I remember a rep wearing your pull on ponte pant that was at least twelve inches too long. I was laughing so hard because you were there. I wondered if you recorded your appearances and looked at them when you got home. By the way, handsome portrait.
Seyma, thank you for the compliment…..From what I’ve been told size xs, lg and 1x clothes are sometimes pulled for the shoots. If the model is a size xxs she still has to wear the xs like wise for the other sizes. They have to wear what is avail even if it isn’t their size….Makes no sense at all! That’s why you see models wearing clothes that are swimming on them or seriously too tight. This model in the ivory wrap over blouse looks like she can go up 2 sizes. The top is supposed to “GLIDE” over the body….her top is screaming “release me”. It doesn’t help the customer to choose a size. That’s why the measurements are important to go by. They should always be 2 inches larger than your body measurement for a close fit and 3 to 4 for a loose fit depending how you like your clothes to fit and the style of the garment.
Louis, I can’t believe I didn’t know how to use the measurement guide. That last sentence should be included in the guide for every item. That would certainly remedy returning items due to fit.
The Snake Print Blouse and the Surplice Top are posted on the Q!
I’ve tried to post the Links but get a message…. ‘Your comment is awaiting moderation.’
Jane’s link doesn’t work for me. It wants me to sign into Facebook.
Chris – the link will bring up a window asking you to sign up for Facebook. At the bottom it says NOT NOW. Click on that and you’re in without joining Facebook.
OMG…..do you believe the picture of the model in the pearl white top!!!! It’s horrible. She obviously needs a bigger size desperately!!!! If I were a large woman I would never buy that top from that photo, and i know the top doesn’t run small…..she’s just in the wrong size!!!!!! QVC strikes again!
Louis…………….It’s a heartbreaker! All I can say is: Why, Why, Why!!!!….We need your video, please!…Cat
Such an unflattering pic! Major pet peeve when people wear their clothes too tight. Looking forward to your sneak peek.
Oh, man…I’m just sitting here shaking my head at that horrendous photo–so sorry, Louis. Sheila
The video of the sequin items finally worked on my MacBook laptop by clicking Not Now. It did not work on my iPad or IPhone. I only got the Not Now message on my laptop, not the other two devices…go figure! However, it stopped a couple of times and said I needed to log in to continue. I was able to click again and restart and was able to finish watching.
The styling options were gorgeous. I ordered the black sequin top since I already have the black sequin pants.
Thanks for the help

I’m glad the snake print blouse is posted because that, the lurex sweater and the ruffle blouse are not scripted in the show!!!
Try this link for the sequin pieces:

Jane, that works great!
The 3 Strand Necklace, the Fez and the Stretch Bead Bracelets are all posted on the Q….looks like the reorder inventory has arrived.
yes it has Seka…..the caramel Fez isn’t posted yet but it’s here so hopefully it will be posted soon.

Thank you for trying, but when I click on your link, it takes me to Louis’s Facebook page and wants me to sign-in to Facebook.
I tried your link and I can get the video. I have to scroll down a little below the lurex video….but…..they are HUGE…..the link was better on the linea forum
Am having an issue posting in the correct place!
The Sequin Pieces are posted on the Q!
Louis,
I’m not sure if I’m correct, but was a video posted someplace showing the sequin pieces? I’ve not seen it and don’t do Facebook. I know you said you were having trouble posting videos, but now that I’ve seen the video of the lurex top here on your blog, I thought I’d ask about a video of the sequin pieces.
Thank you for all you do!
Chris you are correct….it was posted on face book….If Seka is reading this maybe she would be kind enough to post a link of it on the Linea forum. Geoff, my tech guy has figured out a way to get around face book which is blocking the way to re-post from them to my web site. It used to be easy but now Geoff has to come over to walk me through. It very complicated…..many steps…..everything gets harder and harder…..nothing gets easier!
Just wanted to let you know how much I have been enjoying A347451
Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Ponte Knit Blazer. I have it in white and navy. I wore the white one during the warmer months and now I’m wearing the navy one more often. Fortunately, I have several of your jackets and all are lovely. However, right now this style is working out for me perfectly. The ponte is always versatile and looks great, the stretch lining is wonderful, but the patch pockets are what is so useful right now. I can fit my cell phone in the pockets and it keeps it safe. Having my essentials in both pockets when I’m working, running around or at home is terrific.
Since our company wants us to work from home as much as possible, I need a place for my cell to be with me all the time. Since I have two cell phones, work and personal the 2 patch pockets are always in use. When you are working from home you don’t carry your purse around everywhere you go. But having these jackets with the perfect phone pockets is just what I need. Any chance we may get more colors in the future?
No…..this isn’t a reorder.
Here is the Link…..the Sequin pieces are now posted on the Q!

Are there going to be any more colors WK Turtle neck this year? I am specifically hoping for more sapphire
Louis,
Will the alabaster lurex go with the latte embroidered skirt and the floral embroidered skirt?
Dear Louis,
The blouses this season are sublime. A wealth of choices. And the WK polo with the long placket, will be ordering all colors.
But the real reason I am writing to you is to identify a male morning glory. Examine the nodes of the plant (where two leaves attach
to the stem) you will see early growth of small sacs. Amazing how humans and plant life mirror each other. You can stop laughing now, the lesson is over.
Do you have a picture???? LOL
Your video has been download to your louis dell olio facebook page, but not to the linea by louis dell olio facebook page; therefore it’s been hard to find.
It’s located on two face book pages. I don’t post it on the open face book page where everyone can post. We have been having great difficulty posting on my website….not sure what the problem is.
Louis, Is there a reason you haven’t posted your latest Video here on your Blog?
Just curious.
Seka.
Yes Seka….it won’t post all of a sudden? I’m having Geoff look into it but so far we haven’t found a solution. It always changes.
Louis,
Hopefully, Geoff will be able to once again be able to post the video here on the blog. I, and I’m sure many of your ladies, do not have Facebook accounts so we’ve been unable to watch your latest video.
I also used to be able to watch it on the Linea Facebook page without having an account, but can’t watch there either anymore.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Geoff is successful!
Same here Louis, I am not on Facebook so I hope you can post the videos here. Maybe provide a link to the Facebook video and we can try to access it.
Louis,
I just wanted to tell you I am elated that I ordered every color of the snow leopard blouse. I was a bit hesitant if I really needed all three, but they are all gorgeous! They feel like silk and are so rich and luxurious looking. The scarf is such a bonus too!
I also really like the moss crepe wrap neck top. My only complaint – I wish it came in the beautiful sapphire to go with my sapphire topper. 😊
The glitterati necklace is on sale with free shipping, trying to decide between the burgundy and turquoise…and also the grande tassel in chocolate (I have the amber).
Hope you’re having a splendid Sunday.
Dear Melissa…..I am so happy to hear you love everything you have received……It is hard for me to choose a color of the Glitterati necklaces because they are all so beautiful and work with so many things, but since you did get the caramel snow leopard print I think you should get the turquoise as it looks so incredible on that print…..I would almost say get the burgundy glitterati instead od the tassel grande in chocolate.
Thanks for the nudge Louis! I purchased the turquoise glitterati. I’ve been eyeing it for awhile. I have the burgundy on my wish list. Maybe next time…
You’re killing my budget this year and I know you have more goodies coming!
The Sequin Pieces are Posted on the Q!
How do I find the value of a jacket I inherited? It is Louis Dell”olio Studio suede leather with a belt and some type of for and I need to know if it’s real or fuax.
Jean how old is it? Louis Dell’Olio Studio? What does it look like??
Dear Louis,
Today I received the Zip Jacket A389959. It is beautiful, love the fabric, great fit. However, there is a problem at the bottom with the last six inches of the zip, There is a curve on both sides when the jacket is open. I noticed it on one of the models. The other models and sales reps did not have this issue. What do you suggest?
Seyma……I would suggest you return it as defective.
Louis: I adore your designs and always look for your new capsules on QVC. Excellent design, quality and value!
I recently ordered you TSV (V-Neck Zip Front Jacket) along with slacks, turtlenecks, etc. The jacket arrived badly wrinkled (poor packing by QVC). How would you suggest I get the wrinkles out, please? And, when will you be on QVC again? We miss you!
Watching for a reply since one of my jackets arrived very wrinkled. Thinking of trying a handheld steamer. How did you get your pretty pic to show up with your post?
Thank you, Melissa! I have no idea why/how my photo appears. I didn’t do that intentionally. 🙂
Laura…..you can always try the steamer first…if that doesn’t work have the dry cleaners press it. My next show is Nov.at 2am….I will be doing videos before them here on my web site.
Thank you, Louis! Miss seeing you and your beautiful bride on QVC!
I always use a steamer on wrinkles from QVC packaging and it works every time. You will see a huge improvement. Love Louis’s TCF Big Deal toppers! I stopped at three but wanted all of them. How you made them so slimming and easy to wear and to style is genius! Thank you so much Louis! I can’t wait to see your videos and what is coming next. Take care everyone.
Thank you, Nancy!
Good Morning Louis,
I have a couple of questions for you regarding wearing pins. I want to know if you think wearing lighter-weight pins on whisper knit sweaters is okay, or would you advise against it? I’m always afraid that the pin will ruin the knit, and so I don’t typically take the chance. Also, is there a technique to applying them that you recommend?
Thank you so much for your help!
Cindy B.
Dear Cindy…..wearing pins on any “sweater knit” is chancy. It isn’t so much as the pin going through the knit as long as the pin is fine and sharp….it’s the pin hanging causing the knit to stretch. I have found if you wear something under the sweater like a tank you can “anchor” the pin through both layers [the sweater and the tank] relieving the hang effect. This take the pressure off of the sweater knit. The tank should be substantial like a Spanx tank in nude or something like that
Dear Louis,
Thank-you so much for your time and for your expert advice! I will try your suggestion on less coveted sweaters before daring to try on my beautiful whisper knits.
By the way, my daughter, who is in her early 30s, has to look professional and put because she recently started working as a school secretary, and so she has been raiding my closet and borrowing my Linea pieces. Most of the Linea clothing she is wearing is at least 8 years old, so that just goes to show how well made and timeless your items are.
Thanks again for everything, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Cindy B.
Dear Cindy….it’s nice to hear your daughter is liking the Linea clothes……now you know what to get her for Christmas….the blouson sleeve WK sweater?….LOL Let me know how the pin wearing works out?
Dear Louis,
Yes, she loves your clothes, and the blouson sleeve WK would be perfect–she also loves the moss crepe top with the pleated collar. We both love everything you do, and this fall collection with clothes that look like they could be from the 30s and 40s is just magnificent!!
Thanks again, and I will let you know how the pins work out. 🙂
Cindy B.
Louis,
I received my gorgeous cobalt big deal topper and it does work with my cobalt embroidered skirt! I am deciding between the cobalt and black glitteralti necklaces and the black blossom necklace. Now I am ready for my nieces wedding!
I have also received my vivid pink blazer, the bisque split neck sweater, compass necklace, bisque boucle blazer, bisque leopard tunic and several other wonderful pieces. All my purchases work so well together! I am looking forward fo the navy sequin pants and lurex sweater
Thank you for all your beautiful creations and how you share your design techniques on your videos!😋😋😋
Dear Becky….if you have to choose one of the necklaces out of the 3 you mentioned I would go with the black jet glitterati. As much as I love the other 2, I think this will easier with more of your clothing
Hello Louis, just wanted to check that you said that the fez necklace is being re-ordered? I had ordered the triple strand and the fez in plum and they sent me the wrong color and when I sent it back to get the correct color it was sold out. So I’m hoping I can get it (again) And hopefully they’ll send the right color. I just received the red V-neck jacket with the zipper and just ordered the red Pleated collar in the crepe knit To go with it. When will the leopard print Blouses be available?
Yes Jojo….I have been told all of the colors of the Fez and the Triple strand should arrive at the warehouse on Nov. 5th. I can’t say how long it will take to get them posted. I can only assume that since they were posted once it shouldn’t take long. The Leopard print blouses should be avail by my 11/5th show
Thank you for restoring the by month, by year history! My world is right again! ❤️
On the photos, a person can click on them to see them enlarged but you cannot click again for a better closeup and then again to return to normal size. Before this website changed, you were able to do that.
Chris
I’ll check on this
Dear Louis,
I’m happy to see Chris/Jazzmom’s comment about enlarging the pics on the new site and very glad that you will be looking into this
I too am experiencing the inability to enlarge your pics and view details. Both the original pic pinched to enlarge or tapped to enlarge are the same size. I was never able to double click, as Chris mentioned, but tapping to enlarge gave me a generous detail reveal. This is likely due to my using a Samsung Galaxy s10 Plus mobile phone vs a desktop or PC for my internet access.
Received my Vivid Pink Blazer today and the color is just perfectly divine. Just what I needed after having surgery yesterday!
Dear Rochelle….happy to hear the v. pink jacket lifted your spirits! Get well fast!!
Just received the navy blazer and it is perfect. I own the black, dark forest green and port also. Since I own so many Linea navy pieces this is the perfect finishing touch.
I didn’t check on my I Pad, which uses the Safari browser as the default but its happening on the desktop computer using Firefox browser.
I have no issue clicking on the picture and then enlarging the view on my iPad with Safari browser.
Louis, this fall collection has been absolutely wonderful and I am looking forward to the faux suede pants (yes, navy blue!!) and the polo WK tops.
Hello Louis,
Do you know if the Art Moderne necklace will be re-ordered? I ordered it in the Bisque and see it went to backorder. The plum color is sold out already which is a color I wanted also. I am disappointed. I ordered the Fez necklace and received the wrong one but am glad that that one has been re-ordered. Thank you.
Bebe….as of now it has not been reordered.
Bebe, I ended up getting two of the plum arte modern necklaces (long story) and just sent one back as a return so try to stalk this necklace for availability. It’s a beautiful necklace and goes perfectly with all the plum from this year and other purples from past collections.
Thank you Karen for letting me know. I will do that! Here is hoping!!! I love it!
Lois…..I would think this happens with everyone’s line. When an item is popular and sells well it seems they can’t keep an accurate tally on the inventory, and only after thge sale is done and a few days later when the dust settles they realize an item is oversold…..but….many women buy 2 of a jacket and put one on check hold. When one shows up and they try it on for size, if it’s good they will release the other one, and it becomes avail
Dear Louis,
I have loved your whisper knit pants over the years and am grateful for petite length. They would be so awesome in the new plum and pine colors. Any chance?
Dear JBC…..i did 3 versions of the WK pants and not one sold well enough to be reordered so I don’t see them coming back in the future…..Sorry…..I loved them too
Louis I know this has nothing to do with you but I am so angry I have to vent. I ordered two topper big deals and woke up in the middle of the night to do it and that’s not easy for an old lady like me. Both of them went to backorder and the size 22 is totally out of stock. What on earth are they doing to your collection. Is it possible that they don’t have enough inventory. So sorry to lay my frustration on you but at least the pink blazer has shipped.
Sharon the operations of QVC are a total mystery to me! You would think when they are selling, since they get immediate feed back, that they would know their inventory. I have a theory….I think they will oversell an item to take into consideration returns and cancellations on check hold items, but that’s just my theory……wait awhile your size will probably show up.
Good morning Louis!
I bought several new pieces in the plum this Fall (which are all beautiful) and somehow missed out on any of the plum jewelry you offered. Will there be any more jewelry offerings in plum?
Thanks, Ginny
Ginny the Fez necklace and the triple strand necklace plus the set of 3 bracelets are all coming back…..I’m trying to find out when? should be soon-ish
Thank you for the good news Louis! I will be stalking so I don’t miss out again!
My ivory topper just arrived. It is stunning. I am crazy about the fit. It’s so flattering. I’m a size small and I ordered the six. It fits me perfectly. I am tempted to go back and pick up another color. Off to the q site to leave my review. Thank you for another beautiful design.
Thank you so much for your fabulous jackets! The boucle plaid is perfection and now my VIVID PINK is on the way! YAY! Oh Louis, have I missed the Imperial Brooch Necklace?
No Anne….it hasn’t been posted yet…..some time in Nov. Hopefully by the Nov. 5th show date?
I just got my plum, black and caramel Ponte knit pants.
The caramel is a soft, warm, and updated brown. I’m in love
It’s just beautiful, a unique addition to my closet. Now the choice of the caramel TOPPER, (waiting for black and ivory to arrive) or the tweed jacket, which
I might need both, because your TWEEDS are TOTALLY TERRIFIC and I know from experience because I’m a collector from way back. I don’t know how any woman can do without a beautiful tweed jacket, whether dressed up with a silk blouse or with a cotton shirt you will get compliments wearing a Linea jacket. It’s a confidence builder. And they take the jewelry so easily. The sleeveless sweaters will make the jackets so much easier to wear in warm climates. Love.
Looking at the older posts really brought back memories. Little Samantha, sweetheart sitting upright in her Crate soon to be dripping in pearls.
Ah, time flies. Ciao Louis
Several months ago A351469 Moss Crepe V-Neck Swing Top was on a waitlist for 2 new colors: tobacco and bayou blue. Are these still in the works or have they been cancelled?
As always thank you for your time and hope you are enjoying a nice fall day.
vickybliss…..that top in those colors never existed so I have no clue how it got in the system. It was discussed as a possible reorder, but someone jumped the gun before it was finalized.
Louis- is there any possibility of a reorder?
No Jan……sorry
Love it!
This new format is so much easier to make comments and the read the newest comments.Thank you
Good afternoon Louis! I have been organizing my closets and pulling out my Whisper Knits, washing, etc. This is just a thought. Is there any way that your manufacturer can imprint on the labels the color name of the item? I am having a hard time differentiating between port, aubergine and wine, especially! Not to mention the various reds, purples, and neutral colors by name. Call it old age, LOL! I still have the original “aubergine” pieces from years ago, and I have resorted to reading all the reviews for a particular number, trying to catch what “color” the reviewer may have purchased to help in my quest. Or even, in the product description of the item on the Q site, could the various colors be listed? I understand that probably the Q names the colors probably when the items end up at the Q warehouse for sorting, etc. It sure would make it easier to organize our colors. I know I am not alone on this! Many thanks!
Dear Teri, that would be a good idea, but what goes on the label is what QVC requires…..I too have gotten confused which color is witch so I write on the “Linea” label what the color is with a fine water proof pen. I also label my pants what style they are. BC for boot cut, slim ankle, Capri etc. If you do it when you receive them you will always know what is what
Louis, I am finally getting back to you with Jac’s ginger cookie recipe. Our son left to go back to college so I am finally getting around to finding the recipe. Funny thing is that I found it on your blog on page 705! I took another Linea Lady’s idea and looked at a few of your old posts. I am copying it here too. It will be a perfect chilly day to make them tomorrow. Enjoy!
Jac’s Ginger Cookies
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 Tbl ground Ginger
2 tspns baking soda
1 tspn cinnamon
1/2 tspn salt
3/4 cups Crisco (Do not substitute Butter)
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup regular molasses(not the very dark)
1 large egg
2 Tblspns grated orange Zest
Sift flour, Ginger, Baking Soda, cinnamon and Salt onto a plate. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat Crisco till creamy, then beat in Brown Sugar, Molasses, egg and zest.
At low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture till combined. Mix well.
One rounded Tablespoon at a time, roll the dough between the palms of your hands to form a ball.
Place the balls of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each ball.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Switch the sheets from upper to lower racks for even browning.
The edges of the cookies should be firm and the centers puffed and this will form crackles.
Cool cookies on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack or space them out on a plate.
This recipe can be doubled.
These are the best ginger cookies I know of. They are chewy, not crisp and are nicely crackled.
Enjoy! I will be making these right along with you…they keep nicely in a tin and are great gifts!
Merry Christmas! ….Love, Jac

Thank you Karen…..I will make a copy and keep it in a safe place. I was happy to see that this was the original message from Jac to all of you.
Hi Louis,
So far I have bought at least two of each fall items you have offered. Brilliant pieces and they ll be my staples. While I love love everything, I would like to talk about two things.
The cheetah print blouses – wow wow wow. Got the caramel first was surprised at the weight of the fabric (in a good way). It feels like satin and is it not flimsy that it keeps sliding around. Love the weight of it and the caramel – stunning!! With the turquoise accents. Never seen that combination look this great. Then ended up getting magenta and ivory too. The scarf is such a statement piece too.
The compass necklace – it’s a genius design . I love the chain with oval loops! So different. And the toggle with those cabochon stones wow! The moment I took it out of the wrapping, it felt like I unearthed an antique treasure. So beautiful!
Waiting for the big deal jackets in ivory and caramel to arrive 🙂
Dear Pratt….I am happy to hear how much you love everything…..I’m especially happy to ready how much you love the compass which has a special meaning for me.
Dear Louis, I just received the Big Deal topper in black (expedited shipping) and I LOVE it! The larger of my two sizes (14) was a perfect fit and I am thrilled with how slimming it is! WOW! Now, I’ll wait for delivery of the ivory, red and sapphire jackets. Thank you for another great jacket this season! You know how to make us all smile…
Grace….The ivory, red and sapphire too!!!It’s a good think the black fit and you like it!!! You made my day!
Hi Louis
Do you always use the same shade of Navy.
Do you mean for all of your navy’s to match. I own the Linea (A298447) Slim leg ponte pants in Navy from last year.
I was wondering – Does your new Navy blazer A343162 match your navy slim leg ponte pants and your navy round neck elbow length whisper knit sweater from last year.
Yes, Joanne….I always give the same standard navy whenever I chose navy as a color….however….as I’ve said many times each time the color is dyed in a fabric, even a frbric like WK where the color already exists there can be a variable
hi Louis
Advice please…do you think grecian gold or gold hoop earrings from the set of 4 to wear with
anniversary necklace, blue seed bead bracelet and sapphire faux shantung jacket? I’m wearing the black ponte pants and black satin tank.
Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
thanks
Sarah
ps85F and humid
Dear Sarah….I show them with everything…..Of course the Anniversary hoop also works with everything and is a beautiful special earring.
Hi Louis
Will the two new necklaces you are showing that you say are to be so expensive, will they be part of your November offerings? I have my eye on one of them. I am so looking forward to your next new offerings.
By the way I am so glad I own twisted sister in black/silver. It looks sensational with black turtleneck and black/silver embroidered skirt. So does the black glitterati glass necklace for a change up.
Joanne….the “Couture” necklaces and the “Imperial Brooch Necklace” are due in Nov. I never know when they will be posted since they don’t get air time……I absolutely love the Glitterati necklace and truly believe everyone should own it…..The Twisted Sister is amazing and something that would cost $300 to $400 in Neiman Marcus…..so many rows of faceted glass beads and the metal discs and the accompanying earring is just fabulous.
Dear Louis, I live in your whisper knit pants in the winter. So comfortable and perfect with all my wk tops. I would LOVE to have them in the new pine and plum colors. I need the petite length. Any chance?
Louis,
Now it is up there. Amazing…
It wasn’t up there a few minutes ago. I have a screenshot.
Louis,
Where I had the problem was on the upper left of the QVC mainscreen where it says Menu. It is an easy place to check daily for the new TSV and Big Deal.
Louis,
My Big Deals were ordered this morning, and I can’ wait to get them. Later today I tried to check to see what was still available by going in through the QVC Menu upper left screen. After clicking on Big Deal I was surprised to see that your topper was not poste.
Hi Nan….I just went to the QVC site and in the search bar I typed in Linea jackets and it came up. Don’t know why you had a problem?
I have to tell you, Louis — when I saw Brenda in the silver/grey embroidered skirt, the black turtleneck and that fabulous “twisted sister” necklace — I immediately ordered the necklace (already had the other two pieces). What a fabulous outfit! Thank you so much for such beautiful things!
Jane I am so happy you have that necklace…..it is one of my all tome favorites! Brenda did look fabulous!
Louis!
October in Nebraska is a crap shoot. Anywhere from snow/blizzard to stunningly beautiful in the low 80s
I’m 5’6. Currently a 10. Aspiring to be an 8. 😉
Church wedding with country club reception, so formal
Dear Anonymous….sorry for the delay….my “reply” wasn’t working. There are so many possibilities of what you can wear and all would be beautiful. You have to pick what style would work best for you. Here are my suggestions:
1-A389959 [don’t know if you ordered this already. Any color would look great over the Black WK Tank, the black wrap collar top A384501 and either the same fabric pencil skirt in black, A384509 or the black ponte pant, A268216. A black suede pump would be perfect…..You could always substitute an ivory blouse [the pleat front or the one with the scarf]
2-A34162, the Vivid Pink blazer with the black WK tank, the black wrap top [the top in red would also be fabulous], the Black pencil skirt, or the black WK midi skirt or the black pant. The ivory pleated blouse A378720 would be beautiful with the jet glitterati necklace or the black silver torsade or the El Morocco necklace. The lace or point d’esprit tights would finish the look
3-A384508, the riding jacket and matching pencil skirt, A384509 in the black, bisque or plum would be perfect for on of the events….the plum may look wonderful with the bridesmaids colors. The WK tank, A384150 in bisque or plum would be the perfect layering piece….Nude or smoke tights would be good with the bisque and the plum…….The midi skirt in the WK A384497 in plum or bisque would give you a longer option.
4-A378656, the double breasted blazer with the fancy pearl buttons in ivory or black with the matching pant, A378723 in the black or ivory for a dressy suited look. I like the ivory jacket with black pants and the black satin tank, A374664….The ribbon blouse would also be beautiful A384511 under the blazers
5-A379903 the emb lace pattern jacket in off white and black with a black tank [WK or satin] or the wrap neck top in the Moss Crepe. A black pant, but for something very special the black over white layered pant, A378746
6-A349651 lace jacket in boysenberry or dill with matching tanks, A349650 and matching lace pant, A349652 reg and petite A349997
7-For something a little more casual but still a little dressy the satin shirt in loden, A374709 over the matching tank, A374664
8-The BIG DEAL Cardigan and matching tank or sleeveless TN for the breakfast would be perfect.
For the formal evening:
1-The embroidered skirt, A351463 in latte or in petite [just a little shorter] in latte or silver grey.
2-The tuxedo jacket, satin tank or WK tank with sequin pant avail Nov 5th
In Nov there will bee many new evening items to choose from….Beautiful georgette blouse in black and plum to go with the sequin pant or midi WK skirt….a new sequin top and the pant in black or midnight blue [if you don’t want to wear black] and a beautiful WK lurex sweater to wear with the emb. skirts or the sequin pants……..lots of options for all occasions
If you have any questions lets discuss further….I think any of the outfits above would be perfect for the MOB!
Ahhhh! Thank you so much for your input!
I own the embroidered skirt in all 3 colors, and the tuxedo jacket. Just couldn’t resist.
Took advantage of the BIG Deal, and am waiting for the zip jacket to be delivered in several colors including the bisque. I wonder how it would look with the ivory lace pant I already own?
I ordered the wrap neck shirt in the middle of the night last night, and now am considering the riding jacket ensemble as well. I also already have the new wk pieces in ll 3 colors, and lots of wk from previous collections.
Thank you so much for keeping the colors consistent. It’s wonderful knowing everything will work together-even the blacks!
I have a daily alarm on my phone to remind me to look and see if the sequin pant/ lurex top have been posted.
Truly, Louis. Thank you. My sister raved about you for years and years. I finally saw the light about 5 years ago, and now I’m setting alarms on my phone so I don’t miss out on anything! I love how your clothing makes me feel about myself.
I guess I’m no longer anonymous!
😊
Wow Louis these wedding ideas are so fabulous that I made a copy of them for my daughter’s wedding in fall 2021! We don’t know what the size of the wedding will be because of COVID, but your suggestions are all terrific. I hope Andrea doesn’t mind that I copied them to use next year. Also I did not realize that Ask Louis changed to reverse chronological order–a great improvement–so I was checking it each day only to see the same entry at the bottom. It took me a while but I figured it out–LOL.
Louis,
My daughter will be getting married next October. Her bridesmaids will be wearing dark emerald green. Men in black tuxes. Autumnal colors for flowers
I am silver grey , rosy complexion, size medium
I wore the ivory shantung swing jacket with navy pants at my last daughter’s wedding.
What from your collection would you suggest for me to consider for the wedding weekend – family barbecue, rehearsal dinner, wedding, day after brunch
Love, Love, Love your clothing. Makes me feel beautiful, and pulled together
What state are you in? What will the weather be, and how dressy do you want to get…How tall and what size are you?
Louis, I do not own the Sequin Pant – I know, I know, what was I thinking!
So this go around – I was thinking of getting the Black Sequin Pant – but I will wait for your Sneak Peek to see the Midnight – I do love your Linea Navy. Thank you for your suggestion.
Seka.
Seka….you must own the sequin pant in BLACK for sure! Ask anyone who owns it. They are getting the midnight blue too!
Ooooh, thank you for responding Louis!!
The lurex one sounds beautiful. Definitely need at least the black.
And I must have the polo henley in vivid pink! As I said in the pink blazer post, I’m not usually a pink girl, but that pink is so gorgeous I didn’t want to miss out. However, I think I’ll get more wear out of the WK sweater. It’s so hot here still, I’m afraid I won’t get to wear my gorgeous new blazers for awhile. I’m so anxious to wear the tartan plaid especially.
Thanks again!
Louis, Ohhh, the Lurex WK Sweater is on my List – in the Black and the Alabaster!
Thank you.
Seka.
Seka if you are planning to get the midnight sequin pant you must get the midnight lurex sweater….it’s my #1 choice.
Louis,
I believe you said there were two more WK sweaters coming this season. The one with lurex, and another one. I was wondering if you could describe the two different styles. I already bought three of the blousson style, I want a few of the split neck style, and am trying to budget/plan for upcoming items.
Thanks!
Melissa…the lurex is a wide ballet neck long sleeve, and the other is a polo Henley in Vivid pink, navy and one other color.
Louis, You mentioned the colours of the Lurex Whisper Knit Sweater coming next month….Navy Lurex with the Navy, Black Lurex with the Black and Gold Lurex with the Alabaster.
Would you please give a description of the style of the Sweater.
Thank you.
Seka.
A long sleeve, body skimming, classic length with a wide ballet neckline.
Hi, Louis. Is the Pink Status Print Top, A378731, the same Pink as the Vivid Pink Blazer? Thanks. Sheila
Dear Shelia, no, they are very different. The print is a more blue fuchsia and the vivid pink is more coral geranium pink. I compared it to the bright pink Boho, and while the boho is paler they are in the same family
Hi Louis
By now you probably have your scripts. When will the moss crepe crossover blouses be offered. I want to buy two colors. I love them and don’t want to miss out! They are not listed yet.2M
Thank you
Dear Joanne they are scripted on both shows to go with the Big Deal topper, but they are as upsells so they have no time?
Louis will the gold tone twisted sister necklace work with the whisper knit port turtleneck and slacks. Thanks.
Dear Barbara….I have tom find something in Port????!!!but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work….the port was very dark.
Louis, I just wanted you to know that I ordered all 4 of the new WK turtlenecks; they came very promptly, and I couldn’t be happier with them. As you know (blushing) I have wanted this version forever, and they are all that I could have hoped for. I already posted my review (WNYGal), urging everyone to buy, buy, BUY, so that we can have all the colors our desperate little hearts (well, MY desperate little heart) desire in future, but I’d be only to happy to send you MY list, lol. Again, thank you so much for this new, PERFECT turtleneck. You are the BEST.
April, I was very please with the way they turn out. I more than happy that you like them too!
Louis,
I’m trying to make some decisions about jewelry. I don’t want to miss out! Will you tell us what color lurex thread is in the navy top and in the black top?
Thank you,
Chris S.
