    Louis
I ordered first the 72” couture necklace. I loved it so much I ordered the multi strand couture necklace. I probably will wear them separately, but they are both indeed special.

Are these your last jewelry offerings of the fall season or do we have one more?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There are more coming, but QVC is very lax posting them There are also some beautiful Silver/Gold Plate items coming too, but Italy has been delayed.

      1. Bev in Illinois

Louis, I am very excited to hear about the new silver/gold plate items. Can you give a hint about what is coming? Have you seen the ring by “Steel by Design” that is a knock-off of your ring (J484200)? I have ordered the navy faux pants and am debating on the black. I have the caramel from 2 years ago and love them. Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Enjoy the holidays. .

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bev…..I did take a look at the ring. There is a similar look to them in that there is a “twist” and a message. I found the SBD ring to have a thick clumsy look, but that’s just MHO. I think my ring has a much more graceful look with the thick and thin movement and has a much more thought out design to it……There will be one more additional piece to “All you have to be is Wonderful” group to finish the story. I call it the “smile” necklace”. It will still have the saying but you can wear it showing or not……Then I will be introducing another signature group with another quote that Jac and I used to say to each other. Unfortunately the Corona Virus in Italy has held up the deliveries! We are still hoping to get them in for Holiday gift giving, but it will be close!!!

          1. Bev in Illinois

Oh how wonderful! I am excited about the new things coming and will wait patiently for them. I did know that the knock-off ring was not the same quality as your ring is but I just thought it was funny that it was so similar to yours.

The faux suede pants and the moss crepe ruffle pieces are posted on QVC. The Moss Crepe pictures are horrible, Faux Suede not so bad. I’ll have to look at measurements. Hope I’m not reposting, I didn’t see that anyone posted it yet…

  3. Melissa W

    Hi Louis,
I’m wondering how you like the alabaster faux suede pants paired with the lace inset tops (which I have five of!). I missed out on the Ponte pants that would’ve worked. I didn’t know if suede would look “off” with a a light lacy top, especially in Florida.

  4. Cela

QVC s problem is they don’t know how to give the customer what they want. If they are trying to get a younger customer why all the matronly looks????

    1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Cela, thank you for saying what I was thinking re: matronly looks.

  5. Cela

Louis. !!! Are you sitting down? There is a MAN on the
Cover of December 2020 VOGUE !!! He is wearing a crinoline!!! But he is cute, though. His name is Harry Styles and he won “X factor” 2010. Maybe you know him. I just don’t know if I’m ready to have my #1 women’s magazine kidnaped by a guy that cute, wearing a dress better than I can. 😀 lol!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Cela…..he’s very famous! He was with an English Boy’s Band for quite a while, but now I think he’s solo. He’s had many famous girl friends. Didn’t care for the tattoos. If your going to have tattoos all over your body they should have a reason and an interesting pattern, not just a bunch of splotches!

      1. Anonymous

But Lou, two birds and a “Stone cold Fox”— not my words, VOGUE quote. I guess each bird is over a pec and , oh well , is this a sign of things to come?

          1. Cela

Louis, it’s Cela, and I forgot to enter my name.
I was explaining to you the quote from Vogue
Magazine about Harry Styles’ tattoos — that you said you didn’t care much for. He has two bird tattoos, one on each side of his upper chest, aka his pec muscles.
The caption regarding this from Vogue was: “Two birds…And a Stone cold fox” which I’m guessing was a reference to Harry, because he’s such a cutie. It is confusing when you consider how out of character the
whole fashion shoot was for VOGUE to do , almost as
An editorial with Gwyneth, Oprah or Michelle Obama would be done. He was photographed in about 12 dresses, but maybe I’m reading too much into it? Maybe VOGUE is just trying to expand its readership to include another demographic.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cela, when I saw the Vogue cover my first reaction was OH NO! WHAT NOW. I have not liked Vogue or Bazaar for a long time now. Where is the fashion, where are the beautiful pages….long gone. I miss Grace Coddington the best fashion editor and sittings editor who created wonderful fantasies on the pages. I don’t like the photography, the model choices or the clothes. I have been thinking of letting my subscriptions lapse. I am always disappointed when I get a new issue. They are getting worse and worse IMHO. Who cares about seeing Harry Styles in dresses looking stupid. Another demographic doesn’t read Vogue….It’s like QVC always trying in vane to get a younger customer.

  6. Yoko

Louis your lurex whisper knit sweater is beautiful. I wore the black version for Thanksgiving with you black faux suede pants. It has just enough sparkle to look special, yet wonderful with my black jeans too. I am quite taken with this fabrication. So is my sister, I had to give her my second lurex sweater because she loved it too. I already ordered another one for me.

Would you consider doing another style in this lurex fabric? I would also like a higher neck for colder days. And, your WK midi skirt. Thank you for making my life easier.

  7. Joanne C

    Louis
I have read your reply’s on the faux suede pants. I am planning on taking the black faux suede pants on a trip over the Xmas holidays. Do you think they will be at least posted prior to Xmas?

On another front my new Linea black Lurex sweater and v neck sequin top have arrived. They both look spectacular with my Linea black sequin pants from two years ago.

      1. Anonymous

Are any items planned for the future?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes….there are some fabulous new silver and gold plate items coming soon.

  8. Sylvia

Louis, I received the Compass pendant necklace yesterday, and am wearing it today with a port whisperknit sweater. It is wayyy different from the QVC picture. Looks like shiny gold in the QVC picture, and as you know, it is an antique Russian gold look in person. Truly unique. I LOVE it!

  9. vickybliss

    Dear Louis,
I finally went and order the 72″ Couture Necklace today. I have look at it again and again. Besides your video (so lovey) didn’t do anything to help me from jumping in the deep end. The sale price, the 12% back from rakuten, and then a surprise 10 dollar qvc credit-promo pushed me over the side.
I know that this necklace will be something very special and hope others will take advantage of the 12% back and get one too.

  10. Chris/Jazzmom

    Hi Louis,

Will you be having everyday use pants with pockets coming in the future? Similar to the Linea Leisure pants (A262070 & A262072).

    Regards,
    Chris

  11. Chris S.

    Louis,
This will be my first time getting the faux suede pants. At 5’4”, I’m between regular and petite length. I’m wondering where this type of leg should fall. I only wear flats or very low heels.
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

the longest they should be is hitting the top of the shoe or shorter.

      1. Chris S.

Thank you. That is helpful. What are the inseams for the regular and petite?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris I do not have that info and the office is closed for Thanksgiving

          1. Louise

Love Love the ruffle ensemble ALL OF IT
BUT you mention DEC date but ur date list only says
Jan 15 PLEASE WHICH. WHEN. AND TIME IS IT
I DO NOT DO FACE BOOK. ONLY UR BLOGS

THANK YOU YOUR INSPIRATION TOUCHED ALL OF US

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Louise….you are correct….there is no time slot for the ruffle or faux suede pieces yet in Dec. I have no idea what QVC plans to do with them. All I can say is they are all delivered.

    2. Hi Chris S,
I am 5’6 and wear the petite length in the slim leg faux suede pant. (Love these pants!) They hit me at ankle length which is perfect with flats/low heels. Hard to measure my own inseam but my legs are obviously not long but they are not extremely short either. I often buy petites in slim cut pants because I don’t want them too long. Hope this helps you.

      1. Chris S.

Thank you, Donna. That’s good to know.

  12. Anne in Dallas

Louis, Thank you so very much for the fall jackets!!! The red and navy plaid is my favorite! The fabulous vivid pink is wonderful! Without you, I’d be up fashion creek without a paddle! . Your blouses this year are sensational. Have you seen the Jose and Maria Barrera necklace on the Neiman’s site. Looks alot like yours!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, I have seen the jewelry and I must admit it was the “inspiration” behind my pieces. There, of course are changes like mine comes apart to create a brooch, and separate chain necklace. Of course the prices are worlds apart.

  13. Joanne C

    Hi Louis
Do you always use the same Navy?

On another front your 72” Linea Couture Necklace is a substantive beauty!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Joanne, I always give the different factories my Whisper Knit navy as the standard, but different fabrics may not always come out exactly the same. Glad you like the necklace. It really looks so different from the photo as does the 5 strand necklace which is so much more impressive.

  14. Cela

In case anyone is looking for an earring to complement the gorgeous Plum jewelry Louis made us, check J369200. Choose the”multi”. It’s a simple hoop. Also,
deep discount on the Linea tweed jacket —it is
$69.00, in case you were thinking about it. I was thrilled!!!

  15. designista

Dear LDO, The Couture Multi-Strand Necklace is absolutely superb! I confess it is your keen eye for proportions that drew me to it. The intricate beads and chains are beautiful, but it is your proportions that make it all work. Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

designista, I’m so happy you love the piece. A lot of attention to detail went into this piece. It was a labor of love.

    1. Ginny

Pattyow, you aren’t alone. I haven’t been able to get on the Qvc forum in a few days. Hopefully they will correct the problem soon.

      1. Melissa W

If this is about getting in the Linea forum on QVC, I did have some difficulties too. I had a bookmark to the Linea forum and I got an error when I used that bookmark from my iphone. My bookmark would default to the “mobile” version. If you click on the “Full” version then navigate to the Linea forum, it should hopefully work for you.

        1. Ginny

Thank you Melissa. Your suggestion worked!
          Happy Thanksgiving

Louis, Is it too early for a Sneak Peek! The Faux Suede Pant still has to get posted ….would you consider please, telling us what the other 3 items are. If I recall there’s a new Necklace coming.
It has been snowing since this morning – expecting 2 – 4 inches – so far, roads are still clear. We’re going into our second Lock Down tomorrow – for 28 days…..good news – we’re expecting our first doses of vaccine early in the new year.

    Stay safe.
    Seka.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Seka….snow….where do you live? I’m a little busy now, but I’m working on the collages. There are 4 garments one of them being the faux suede pant.

      1. Seka

Thank you, Louis – I always look forward to your Sneak Peeks. I live in Toronto – it’s still snowing – and the roads are still clear – temperature is 36 degrees.

  19. Joanne C

    Louis
When will you be offering your black faux suede slim pants? You had previously indicated they would be offered in the fall. Are they being offered in petite as well as average. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne….your guess is as good as mine!!!??? All I know for sure is the last FOUR items for Dec. have already shipped to the QVC warehouses, so now it’s in their hands how or when they want to present them. We haven’t any shows scheduled for Dec. so maybe they are planning some outside “hits”?

  20. Tricia

I got the 72 inch one . I can wear with everything.

  21. Tricia

forgot to give may name on my post ..

I just finished catching up on my comments on all my many purchases…the couture necklace arrived last night and I have no words for its beauty!!! I cannot wait to wear it. I love all your jewelry that I have purchased but this necklace is in a class of it’s own. I want to thank you for your videos. I do not do Facebook so appreciate you posting them on your site. I was thinking of going up a size with the sequin top and there you were telling me to not do that. A big thank you!! I ordered my normal size and the fit is perfect..It fits me just like you made it just for me.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tricia….I am so happy you love the Couture necklace! you didn’t say which one? The 72″ long one or the 5 strand one. Both are equally beautiful……I’m also happy you took my advice on the sequin top. It must fit on top and the arms or it will look baggy. It should not be big. It has plenty of stretch.

  23. Anonymous

Oh,, the cynicism of QVC…I just read the LDO post about sales and free shipping, and headed over to my Wish List at the Q. I noticed that the Rakuten discount for today was 10 percent, making it a great day to do some shopping. My first wish list item was the red topper, as the sapphire purchased on Big Deal day seemed lonely…Well, the original price was $77.82 and the price yesterday was $77.11. Today the price had risen to $85.68, which of course wipes out Rakuten altogether, to the penny. Today’s price increase also wipes out ALL of the benefit of free shipping for the day. If a vendor intends to play the game like this, why in the world does it honor Rakuten or free shipping at all? I have been at the Q since May 1991, and it is ONLY LDO who keeps me there. The powers that be ought to be ashamed of the games they play.

      1. Anonymous

I wrote the comment on free shipping and Rakuten, and obviously misused the term “vendor.” The problem is QVC, not you, and I never meant you. As I said at the end, you are the only one keeping me at QVC, as 17 pieces purchased this fall make clear. You and your work are the best.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I actually didn’t think you meant me personally. I just wanted to be clear that all “business” is done by QVC. I hope you are enjoying your fall purchases!

  24. Joanne C

    Louis
I finally purchased the Chocolate Tassel! It is a beauty! Photo’s do not do it justice. I wore it last night with your Linea black cropped twin set from last year and some Linea black slim leg ponte pants. Everyone commented on the loveliness of the tassel.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Joanne….I’m so happy you love your tassel…..it’s so much more beautiful than any photo can show.

  25. Sarah

    Ladies
fyi most of the Linea jewelry is on sale right now- a good opportunity to pick up gifts for yourself or loved ones. I’m picking up a set of four pack of earrings for backup.

  26. Linda in AZ

Hello Louis…I received my haul of lovely Linea, and posted my 5 star reviews. I know there are a few more goodies coming. We are all looking forward to those.

I know it is too early to say whether the Polo WK could be reordered. I am hoping the sales are good, so that it could be offered every year in basic colors, along with the special colors that you have for each season. The collar and buttons make it the most versatile WK I own. Love the look with the Blazer. My wish list is for Pine, Plum and Red to go with the plaid blazers. Have a blessed Thansgiving.

  27. Anonymous

Louis the WK lurex sweater is gorgeous. I got black first to try it. Went back for other two colors. Surprisingly, it’s just what I needed. A bit of sparkle—but not too much—that goes from day to evening. I would like to see more items in this combination. Because of its Versatility I know it will often be in my suitcase. Thank you.

  28. Carol

I am one of the guilty parties who has not posted her reviews yet, but I will. I was waiting to get all my things delivered before I do it, also gives me a chance to wear some of my purchases before reviewing. I like to be “helpful” in my reviews (although there’s still someone over there who loves to mark all Linea reviews unhelpful–LOL). I think people on the fence don’t want to read reviews like: I really like it OR pretty color.
I feel like when there are few reviews, it’s nice to read one that’s “meaty” and not just a reflection that you and I have similar taste (except for black and beige). Especially now that the on-air showings are skinnier and the photos–well, you know about the photos!
That said, I’m over the moon about the midnight blue sequins and am contemplating getting the navy lurex since I’m sure that won’t be back in my lifetime. I just hate making returns and I’m still waiting for someone who is sensitive to lurex to post about the scratchy factor. Several people have posted it’s not scratchy but not that they ordinarily find lurex unwearable and this isn’t.
By the by, someone might have mentioned that one of the videos on the ballet neck lurex is for the polo???
Stay safe, dear friend. We’re all going to be missing people this holiday, I think.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Carol if you got the midnight sequins you really should get the lurex and the cascade necklace set….it’s just too perfect together. In my 40 plus years of designing I have done many many lurex sweaters….this is not scratchy at all, but there is only one way to know for sure…..you have to try it.

      1. Carol

You’re right. I do have to try it. You’re always right, Louis!

    2. Sarah

      Carol
I’m also behind on my reviews, but just please try the blue lurex. I’m sensitive to lurex generally and this does not bother me at all. It also helps that the sweater is thicker than other lurex I have had in the past. Let me echo Louis’s recommendation on the gunmetal (navy) cascade. Beautiful with the midnight sequin pants and navy top.
Worse case is you send it back, but I even ordered the alabaster after I received the black and navy. It has been warm here so I have not been able to wear it for an extended time yet.
My bra strap did not show, neckline flattering- ordered my normal Linea medium.
      Hope this helps.
      Sarah

      1. Carol

Thanks, Sarah, for your feedback. I did order the midnight lurex when it went on Black Friday sale. There’s only one way to know if it’s going to work for me, and that’s to try it. I don’t have it in hand yet, but I’m looking forward it’s arrival.

  29. Cela

    Hi Louis,
How is your sweet Teresa doing? Hope she knows that prayers are going up for her. My navy ballet neck came.
Starry, starry nights is the song that this sweater reminds me of, and Vincent. It is the most gorgeous thing. Like looking up into the darkest night full of tiny
Pinpoints of light. I can’t describe it ! And , I almost didn’t get the navy color. I can’t wait for
The Jewelry VIDEO. OH I know this is the GRAND FINALE and it’s going to be good !!!

  30. Michelle

Louis, I wanted to tell you how much I love all of my recent purchases. I bought the ruffle blouse in both colors, the python print blouse in both colors, the couture jewelry and the broach/necklace. Everything is spectacular! I’m having lots of fun playing in my closet. I’m now waiting on the arrival of the WK polo sweaters in all three colors. If the vivid pink works for me, I’m going to pick up the vivid pink blazer. I’m not a pink girl, but you are making me think twice about the color. Thanks for another great Fall/Winter collection. Do you have any more sneak peeks for us this month?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Michelle, I’m so happy you love everything! PLEASE WRITE your reviews. There are very few reviews on anything! I was starting to thing very few people have received their purchases. It’s important for other women to get opinions from those who have received items that they are interested in but haven’t made up their minds yet…..What is your coloring…..The Vivid Pink is a gorgeous color…..It’s a little paler than the polo…..We will be doing a live JEWELRY face book this month. Sneak peeks will be at the end of the month or early Dec.

      1. Michelle

Louis, I will definitely go out and leave my reviews. Like Carol, I was waiting for everything to arrive and then planned to do them all at once. It’s been taking awhile to get all of my Linea goodies. The live jewelry FB session sounds wonderful! I’ll be watching. And I’ll let you know how things work out with the vivid pink. My WK polo sweater should arrive this week. Happy Wednesday.

  31. Evela

Great post. It’s good that you bring up this topic. It will be useful for a lecture to high school. Thanks! ps. I invite you to visit my website satik.pl Articles are in Polish, but maybe there is someone who understands this language 🙂

  32. Sarah

    hi Louis
Well I received my lurex sweaters in black and navy last night. I tried on today and love love love. Great fabric weight, neckline is very attractive and no itching. It was either Kate or Melissa Ws comments that convinced me I better order the alabaster too. I’m planning to order the alabaster faux suede pants so really a no brainer. You have done a wonderful job on this collection and I’m delighted to be the beneficiary. Of course the cc is also getting a workout. I’m not worrying about that so much since I’m having such a joyful time in anticipation of wearing these most recent items as soon as we get cooler weather. Thanks again for all you do for us. I have watched the videos several times planning outfits and sizing. I ordered one surplice top in navy and will try to nail down the fit . I’ve also been looking for comments on the ruffle top too for size advice. The photos on QVC are not using your regular models so it’s hard to judge. It would be helpful if Jennifer could give her size for each item she wears when posting on the fb site because I know she sometimes does a 2 and sometimes a 4. It gives a good reference for me even though I’m not that size. Have a good evening.
    Sarah

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sarah…..I can tell you that all of the clothes sent to Jennifer are size 4 or xxs. So happy you love your lurex sweaters! As for the ruffle blouse it fits true to size so if your a 4, or 8 or 12 that’s what size you should order. It does not run small or big.

  33. Melissa W

    Happy Saturday!
I just had to tell you I received part of my haul yesterday. I love love love the polo WK sweaters! I got the navy and the pink. Oh how I love the gorgeous pink!!! 💗 I hope this fabulous sweater is re-ordered in more colors.

The midnight blue sequin top is stunning. I can’t wait to wear it with jeans and heels.

I also received the TCF skirt in plum. I initially thought I didn’t need it but once it went on sale, I knew I’d regret not having the complete suit with the riding jacket. Plus I have so many other plum items to wear it with. Now that I’m sure of my size, I’ll be getting the black too.

And last but not least, I finally got the BD cardigan in black. I already have three other colors, didn’t think I needed basic black but then you showed it going with so many things, I couldn’t pass it up.
Hopefully I’ll receive the rest of my goodies today. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Melissa, your doing well!!!!!LOL. I’m so glad you got the black cardigan. You will see how often and how well it mixes…I know, another black sweater, but another black cardigan is different. It will look great with jeans as well as a WK black tank and your sequin pants…very chic. It really is an essential. I’m also glad you picked up the TCF pencil skirts. They are the perfect match to the jacket, here as all the other bottoms blend, blend beautifully but not a match, and at the sale price why not. I do think you would have been sorry not to have them. Did you order the ruffle blouse? Now that you have the complete suit in plum the plum blouse looks sensational with the suit. It gives it a whole different look……just saying…..Have a splendid day!

      1. Melissa W

Yes I did pick up the plum ruffle blouse! I am anxious to receive it.
I am never sorry for picking up any of your items. I’m only ever sorry when I hesitate and miss out! I finally was able to order the burgundy glitterati and now it’s on backorder so we’ll see if I get it or not.

So sorry about your housekeeper. It will be good for her to get back to work. But now she must first get through the quarantine. 😕

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Teresa was with Jac and me when Jac went through her battle with lung cancer. Many a day I would find the two of them alone sitting and talking. I know a lot of their conversation was about me. I have tried to be as supportive to Teresa as I can be. Thankfully from the time it was confirmed that he had stage 4 liver cancer it only took a month for him to pass. I know what she will be going through. The first year with all of the “firsts” is the worst. This Covid virus only makes it so much worse. She lives alone, and doesn’t see her children much because of it…..not pets either…..My girls are a great distraction.

          1. Melissa W

Bless you for being so supportive of Teresa. You certainly know what she’s going through. As do I. When my husband passed I had no kids, no pets. At least I had work, but the evenings alone were the worst. All the people going through such things now during Covid…it certainly does make it worse.
Pets are so wonderful and can be a great distraction. Although this year has been hard for me because I lost my senior girl cocker, and my senior boy cocker is fighting cancer and now blind, my younger cocker is comic relief. He makes me laugh when I need it most! They make me worry, but they make me sane!
And frankly, my dogs are a great distraction to all the things going on in the world as is your blog and all your clothes. Retail therapy at its finest!

  34. Michelle

Louis, I was excited to see that QVC used your WK turtleneck in its “how to wear it” segment for the TSV. It’s on the main page of the website. Sandra is the host modeling the two different looks with the TSV. I thought you might like to take a look.

  35. Cela

Hi Louis, I got half of my haul yesterday. The jewelry is
outstanding and the Sequin pants are amazing, a must have. I also received the ballet neck in alabaster, and two polos in alabaster and vivid pink. The necklace is such stunning shades of grey, popping with the silver stations and I love the plum color that looks exactly like amethyst imo. The ballet neck is a good fit around the neckline. This sweater is so distinctive. The sequin pants were a shock, not until I saw them did I realize how versatile they are. You do not have to wait to wear them to a formal event. I love the fit. I can see these worn to an evening concert at Hollywood bowl or the Greek with your black leather and knit short jacket and black turtleneck. I noticed that the Ballet neck and the polo were two inches wider in the chest than noted on the “click here” measurements. I’m keeping the ballet because it’s cut so clean, no extra fabric and I’ll wait for my navy and order the black. I love the pink polo and have two more pink items coming. The polo did feel a little roomy. I’m holding my breath on the rest of the jewelry which was “routed to the wrong post office” according to tracking info on my order. I only received the plum bracelets and the bisque three strand necklace. I ordered all colors plus the Roma jewelry as a backup that were sent to another P.O. hopefully……they’ll come safely home!!!

    Good morning Louis,
Want to pick your brain to get your idea on suggestions on wearing your white lace jacket during the holidays…..I love this jacket and sure want to use it!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky….the trick to wearing the ivory lace jacket for the holidays is naturally what you are going to layer it with. If you have a special Holiday bottom like velvet pants or leggings, or what ever bottom you choose work from there. It’s what goes on top that’s going to make the difference. I really haven’t played with it since it was first introduced, but I remember from my sneak peaks putting an ivory or black TN under it which looked great. Any thank would look good, any long sleeve scoop neck would look good. I would avoid short and 3/4 sleeve tops. Long sleeves would be better. This really is a case of play trying things on with it and seeing what’s the best combination for you……jewelry will also add a lot to the Holiday look.

      1. Becky T from Tn

Yes….I went back and found your post in June about winterizing the jacket so that and your idea of the velvet pants have inspired a very beautiful Thanksgiving outfit in my mind!
I love your taking the time to help me!

  37. Andrea

Hi Louis. I was curious if there will be anymore reorders of the super Ponte pants (either the slim or boot cut). If yes, do you know when and what colors?

    Thanks

  38. Chris S.

    Louis,
My black lurex wk sweater arrived. I took a chance and ordered it even though I have narrow shoulders and wide necks often don’t work for me. My usual xl fits Perfectly. It is like it was made for me. There is no problem at all with the neckline. The slight curve of the body somehow covers my lumps and bumps and gives a beautiful shape. It’s gorgeous! I don’t know how you do it!

I was able to order the polo neck sweaters from the first batch that was posted. Today it still says “preparing your order.” I have my fingers crossed that they will ship.

    Thank you!

  39. designista

The Surplice top fits to perfection! I ordered my normal Linea numerical size. I’m 5′-4″, top heavy, and the V-neck lays perfectly, does not pull apart, is not too low, and does not require a camisole. There is not enough room for me to wear a turtleneck under it comfortably. For me, this is a custom fit. Thank you for this gorgeous blouse! I’m off to write a review while gusty winds from Eta blow outside. I wanted to post this here in case I lose electricity, and my review doesn’t make it on the Q while the free shipping is available.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear designista….that’s music to my ears…..yours are the first comment I’ve heard, and I’m very happy it fits you so well. What color did you get? Please write something on the Linea Forum. I know there are many women who would love to hear you critic….wear it in good health

      1. designista

I ordered all three, but the Black is the only one delivered.

        1. Karen in WI

I just received my black Lurex sweater today and it is perfect! I ordered my usual size and it fits very nicely. The shimmer of the lurex is subtle, which is what I was hoping for. It really is a sweater you can wear very often….not just for dress up. Can’t wait to try it on with my bright blue embroidered skirt.

        2. Nancy in DC

My white one fits perfectly without a camisole even though my chest is bigger than I wish it was. I tried it with camisoles I had, but then I found that it fit closely enough for me to feel secure without a cami and I do prefer it that way. Somehow you performed a miracle Louis!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….the reason it fits so well is because the wrap only goes to the front panel so there isn’t much to gap…..the short distance of the wrap keeps it close.

  40. Becky T from Tn

    Louis,
Just received my navy sequin pants……they are just out of this world! I am afraid my social gatherings may be slim this year but I will definitely be ready! I got the navy polo and blazer because I loved that suggestion from your video. I also ordered the black ruffle blouse to go with my black sequin pants I snagged two years ago. I will start wearing all my new finery at Thanksgiving and enjoy feeling elegant!
I am reading a book about post civil war life in the south, so it makes me see this time in history is not anything new or as devastating as a lot of the past.

    1. Anonymous

Hi Becky! That book you’re reading about post civil war life in the south sounds interesting. What’s the name? I love to read.

      1. Anne Laskin

My name is Anne. Sorry about the anonymous.

        1. Becky T from Tn

          Anne
Book is All Things New by Lynn Austin. She also wrote If I Were You. This is one is set during WW II in England. I listened to this one and the narrator had an English accent which made it sooooo good.
          Hope they might interest you😋

          1. Anne L in NC

            Becky
Both books are now downloaded to my Kindle. With Prime membership, All Things New was free. I’m not familiar with this author. Looking forward to reading them and Thank You.

  41. Julia

    Mr. Dell’Olio,
I know there is a push towards more casual clothing, but would you consider designing more dresses such as the knee-length ponte dresses you designed a few years ago? I have 3-4 of these and love them. They are thick enough to hide lumps and bumps, and are so cute. I just need more.

  42. Wendy/DE

    Hi Louis,
I don’t know if you mentioned it already, but I am interested in getting the Carina pearl necklace. Will it be for sale on QVC in the near future? It looks so beautiful!

  43. Michelle

QVC is now offering free shipping on everything. It goes through the weekend. I was able to get my polo WK sweaters shipped for free.

  44. Enjay

Louis, is the Imperial Brooch Necklace in bright goldtone or your antique gold? It’s a beauty – I’m trying to decide between the two color choices and hoping you’ll post a sneak peak. I try to avoid the Q’s photos whenever I can!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Enjay…..it’s antique gold like the Couture pieces. I will post the sneak peeks tomorrow.

  45. Tricia

I have not been able to find the moon glow necklace on the Q…Did I miss out?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Tricia it’s gone, but it was gone before and all of a sudden appeared again so you never know…..just check once in a while.

  46. Vickybliss

More Polo stock has been loaded.
Just order the navy in my size.
All three colors in all sizes.
    Good news for everyone

  47. Melissa W

    Louis,

The imperial broach necklace is beautiful. I was wondering if the green/plum version coordinates with the three stretch bracelets in plum.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Honestly Melissa, I think it’s too fussy together, I would prefer gold bracelets….like the roller bracelets or the anniversary bangle…..Maybe one bead bracelet mixed with gold bangles would look OK…..You’d have to play with it and see.

      1. Melissa W

Ok. Thanks Louis! That doesn’t deter me, just was wondering. Still trying to decide which color.
Just successfully ordered the polos in my size so be sure to get Lou’s while XXS is still available! 😊

  48. Kathleen

Hi Louis, I love your plaid blazer 385145 and ordered the other color this week. I would like to order the blazer 343162 that comes in navy and black. I am size 12 in the plaid. Should I order the same size in the newer blazer? I am not sure if the fit is similar. I was not sure how to facebook Jennifer to see if she could tell me, but I know you are gracious in giving your customers your opinion on how garments fit. Your new items are just beautiful. Thank you.

  49. Irene

Thanks Sarah ! You made my day

  50. Seyma

Louis, I am now singing, “Where have all the polos gone?” Will there be a another order? How many were pieces order?
Definitely give the XXS to Suzy and what is the title of her poetry book?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Seyma….as I have explained not all of the production was loaded into the system by the show, something that has never happened before. I’m assuming it’s due to a backup of product and too few people to handle it. I have been assured more are coming…..not an additional order, just the original order. I will have to find out the name of Suzi’s book.

  51. Marta

Jane Tracy is wearing the Pine turtleneck and Pine/Black Blazer on Gourmet Holiday today. She looks amazing.

  52. Forests2020

Louis- I have several pair of your A268216 Regular Pull on Super Ponte Pants. In the last 2 years I would have bought more but they sell out too fast. I’m talking about 2018 and up to now. I’m very vigilant but was not aware 2 years ago how few are ordered in the first place or how popular they are. I learned my lesson and this year, after being on waitlist from Jan – Aug. for 2 new colors, I was successful. Although I had to sign up on waitlist 3 times to get them. I wear a size 10 and would like to see navy, pine and loden colors again since I missed them before. I have already sent QVC a review with my thoughts on this. Now I see the navy polo is not (yet?) available. It is very disappointing to watch how QVC mismanages their ordering and inventory of your clothing.

  53. Seka

The Holiday Jewellery is posted on the Q!

  54. Sylvia

    Hi Louis!
finally cool enough in Mississippi to wear a coat! I wore my Vino faux suede trench today. Just LOVE IT!!! I would like to request faux suede pants in vino or plum… in the slim style like the new Navy and black.

  55. Susan

Your designs are always classic, timely and beautiful, but this year was exceptional! The CC was smoking!
I know you mentioned the faux suede pants returning in black, and new navy, coming in December. I only see a show listed in January…any other plans to look forward to?
Thank you for ALL you do.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Susan, there is a Dec. show, but I don’t remember the date ….Maybe one of the ladies jotted it down. I know Jennifer posted it

      1. Anonymous

Maybe politics is in your future Louis…LOL!

  56. Seka

Louis, The Whisper Knit Polo Sweater is almost Sold Out! I ordered mine at midnight.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Lucky you! I was supposed to order an xxs in navy for Lou for his daughter to go with her navy blazer! but at 5am they were gone! I may have to give him my xxs sample.

      1. Enjay

I tried to order either an S or M in navy – sold out! How many did the Q order – clearly not enough!

They seriously bug me. And the ridiculous photos are just too bad to believe. Yup, I’m pretty disgusted/

  57. Melissa W

    Good morning Louis,

I was wondering if there are any plans of bringing the glitterati necklace back in more colors. I recently received my beautiful turquoise one. Have the wine/burgundy one on my wish list but now that color is sold out.

    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Melissa, as much as i love this simple , versatile beautiful necklace, due to the very slow selling it is unlikely it will return in new colors. The fact that the black jet necklace is still avail says it all to me.

      1. Melissa W

Well, that’s a shame. I will keep my eyes open for the burgundy one. Thanks for responding!

  58. Rudewarr

    Hello Louis!!!!

So glad you were able to finally post the videos here as I am “anti-social…media”

I have received all of my Linea orders with the exception of the Scarlet Red BD TCF jacket which is now back ordered 😫 but I did get the other four colors 🤗

Everything is PERFECT!!! I love it all…it’s so hard to choose a favorite (and to sneak it into the house without darling hubby giving me the “look.”)

Question, I’m definitely getting all three of the lurex sweaters and I am eagerly anticipating the faux suede pants, will there be any other alabaster items introduced?

Thank you and you ARE wonderful!!!!

    Hope you voted!
    Kate

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Kate……alabaster was a key color in the past. I consider these pieces add ons and accent colors.

  59. Crla

Ballet neck is my post. Forgot to sign in.

  60. Anonymous

    Louis,
Your ballet neck WK is selling out (don’t look at the online photo) . The “video by the window” is lovely . I got the navy hoping that the Medium fits like the split collar Wk I have in medium. I have broad shoulders and I love this style and have worn many ballet tops in the past.

  61. Grace

Thanks, Louis! I’ll stick with my usual size. Really enjoyed all your helpful videos, as always. You & Lou make a great team!

  62. Grace

Dear Louis, I’ll repeat my question…I’m planning to purchase all three colors of the lurex sweater and was happy to see it posted today! I have a question about sizing, especially since I now know to order 2 inches larger than the click here measurements. I’m usually a medium in your WK sweaters, but the chest sizing is showing 38.25, which is typically a small. Should I be sizing up?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Grace, this type of sweater always measures small because of the stretch. I’m afraid if you order bigger it will be baggy, and this sweater should not be baggy. To me it looks very baggy on the model, and not pretty.

  63. Grace

Ooops, I forgot to add my name to the sweater sizing question! Thanks in advance, Louis.
