    Happy Monday!

The popular Bar Necklace (J325471) is back in all four colors!!

I just ordered gold and silver-can’t wait to receive them! Now, waiting for the pink necklace (J329550) to be available.

    1. louis dell'olio

Thanks for letting me know….the pink necklace should be soon.

  2. Dear Louis: Please consider designing Linea rights is ‘ombre’ colors like Black-to-Silver; Browns-to-Good for a dtessy ‘look’ & some pastel color combos for Spring. Would also love a Ted-to-Orange ombre for when I feel festive & fiesty!

    Take care –

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela…..it’s so good to hear from you….it’s been a while. I not sure what your asking for? I get the ombre, but in what??

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t think I have ever seen ombre tights? Wouldn’t most of the color be hidden under a skirt….or do you mean leggings?

  3. Gayle

What have they done to the forum? It is impossible to find anything or anyone! Anyone have a way to navigate this new system?
Louis, when will we start to see “sneak peaks”? I have never been so well dressed as since I started wearing your designs.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Gayle since my next show isn’t until the end of March there is lots of time for sneak peeks. I will be on FEW and AM Style next Friday and Sat.

    2. diane bloch

Gayle- Glad to see your comment. I thought there was something wrong with my computer
at first. I absolutely hate what has happened to the forum. I wonder what was the
purpose in this change. At least we have this blog.

  4. Ruth

Dear Louis, I just received your Crinkle Georgette safari shirt in Perfect Pink and it really is the most flattering color ever on this blue eyed blonde. I never thought to try pink until you said that it is flattering on all women and, indeed, you are right! I have ordered your Pebble Crepe Tunic in P. Pink and look forward to receiving it.
Are there more P. Pink garments to be unveiled in the future?
Thank you for your beautiful clothes and expert advice.
    Best regards, Ruth

    1. Ruth

P.S. The genuine shell buttons on the Crinkle Georgette shirt are really lovely. Very nice touch!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth…I am so pleased you like your safari shirt in the Perfectly Pink, my signature color. Wearing pink I has the same effect as adding a little blush….yes, there are a few more pieces in the P Pink on the horizon…The boho skirt which is in the same fabric of the shirt, also is avail in the P. Pink.

      1. Ruth

I particularly like that there is not even a hint of peach in your P. Pink. Colors that contain yellow like peach, coral, orange, etc. turn my skin yellow and are not attractive, while your P. Pink brings out the pink in my cheeks and looks wonderful. Color is such an interesting dynamic!

  5. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Good morning Louis: Is the new Lilac color in the boho ~ which is not yet pictured at QVC ~ the same shade as the Lilac boho that came out a number of years ago? In other words a repeat/reorder color? Or is it a new shade of Lilac?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Nancy….if memory serves the old Lilac was a much deeper shade….almost a med. bright purple. This new Lilac is a much paler color. I would call it a saturated pastel, because it isn’t a washed out color at all……I’m running out of names!

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Thank you Louis! Got it ordered. Looking forward to wearing it with my Lilac turtleneck and, when it gets posted, purchasing the Lilac safari shirt to go with it 🙂

  6. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

Will you ever do sort of a tunic or a wider butterfly or swing shirt similar to the Wing Collar Cotton Shirt (A259103)? I could really use a crisp tunic or flairing (Butterfly? Swinging? Are those the right words?) Wing Collar Shirt made out of your quality fabric.

I would love one in black, chocolate, navy, grey, or pastel colors. I think these tunics or flairing shirts would look wonderful with White, Ivory, or Alabaster pants or a slim skirt for summer. I can see them doubling as light jackets in the summer with a tank underneath. Thanks for considering this.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WwF….each season I sketch a version of what you are asking for and it is never chosen. You would think with all of the success of the swing WK sweaters it would be a slam dunk, but they haven’t connected the dots???

      1. Writer with Flair

        Dear Louis,
Thanks for continuing to try. Maybe someday, they will decide to go ahead with it.

  7. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
Do you have any plans to do either the Whisper Knit Swing Turtleneck (A268137) and the Whisper Knit Swing Sweater (A259620) in the Linea Leisure fabric? I have both of those tops in the Whisper Knit and love them.

    1. louis dell'olio

No….but it’s an interesting idea. Which LL fabric are you referring to?

      1. Beryl

I think it would it be great in the fabric you used for a273858.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

That fabric is too heavy and too structured for that top to drape nicely…..I think it would stick out on the sides in an unflattering way.

      2. Writer with Flair

        Dear Louis,
I was thinking of the same fabric that you used for the Linea Leisure Regular Knit Pull-On Pants (A262070) and the Raglan Sleeve Tee (A262037). If that fabric is too heavy, then a lighter rayon/spandex blend fabric like the ones you used for the Abstract Print Skirt (A230031) or the Faux Wrap Skirt with the Button Detail (A231144). Now that I think about it, that lighter fabric would probably work better. I love those styles and it would be great to have them in slightly lighter weight fabrics. Just a thought.

        1. louis dell'olio

I hear you and I’ve sketched many versions in different fabrics….fingers crossed that they will be chosen….at least one.

          1. Writer with Flair

Thanks, Louis! I hope it works out.

  8. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Is there any chance of a reorder on the slim woven pant A259702? Or, might we see something similar this year or next? I have the pants in olive, but would love a black, navy, charcoal grey…I was reminded how much I love these pants today when I paired them with your sienna tweed jacket & the WK v-neck in oatmeal…I seriously looked 20 lbs. slimmer–the fit seems tailored-made for me. The fabric is also wonderful…it’s my favorite pant and I have many well-loved Linea pants!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace, that pant is not coming back….a little history. I had done a very similar pant to the A259702, and everyone loved it, but the returns were too high for it to be reordered….so I tried again with the pant you have. Again, many loved it [read the reviews], but again the returns were too high for it to be reordered. I don’t know why? Perhaps it was too slim for a woven fabric, but for me, and you, that’s what makes it a terrific pant. At this point I have no plans to bring this pant back, but in Dec. I will have a straight leg pant in the same fabric as the Boot Cut pant that has done very well and has been reordered in the original grey and black plus some new colors will appear through out the season.

      1. Grace

Louis, I’m totally with you & so many others who love that pant–that fabric is magic & the fit perfection. I just wish I’d purchased every color before my size sold out. That particular slim leg fit with a 30-inch inseam seems to be the right number for me. All your pants seem to fit me, as if a tailor had my exact measurements! I only get into trouble with the inseam length once in awhile…I also love your boot cut pant & that’s been my other go-to this past season (took the black pair on my recent London trip). So, I will look forward to the slim leg version in the ponte knit fabric. And, this time, I will stock up in my size before they’re all gone! Lesson learned:)

    2. louis dell'olio

Unfortunately the new straight leg version of the boot cut won’t be avail until December in two colors….black and wine [same wine as trench coat]. There will also be a matching jacket…..but it’s a long wait!

      1. Grace

Definitely worth the wait, Louis…glad to hear about the matching jacket! In the meantime, I know I’ll be distracted by what you’ve designed for us this Spring & Summer. Looking forward to a change of season and new clothes:)

  9. Merrylass

    Louis,

I was seduced by your amazing textured fabrics last year. Will there be any new textured fabrics this year?

Many thanks for all your lovely creations.

    Merrylass

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes….there are many new fabrics planned for this spring/summer

      1. Merrylass

        You are a tease!!!

      2. Goldie76

I am excitedly looking forward to the fabrics you selected for us this season. You have a rich, multi-textured mind, and you bring us rich, multi-textured fabrics. I hope I can successfully wear what you have designed for us this time.

  10. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I am looking forward to your spring collection. When will you be showing all of your new alabaster items?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne…..the alabaster spring pieces are coming in May.

    2. Beryl

      love that alabaster.

  11. Beth

    Louis,

Was the Perfectly Pink boho skirt reordered for this spring? I have the olive and just love it and I am looking forward to ordering the two new colors. Thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes the P Pink Boho was reordered.

  12. Lyn

Oh no, now I’ll need to also get the Lilac Safari Shirt set. I just ordered the Aqua, and I already have the Perfectly Pink, White, Black and Brown. These are great “go to” sets in the summertime.

  13. Seka

FYI – just checked the Linea Boho Skirt A70208 – and noticed two New Colours are showing up as available – but not in all sizes.

    The Aqua is available in XXS – XXS – S – M – L – XL

The Lilac is showing as available in XXS – L – XL

It may be that the Q has not yet loaded all the sizes.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You are correct. They are supposed to be on my March show. I don’t know why they just don’t process all sizes at one time. All of the production is shipped at one time, so it’s all there. Doing it this way just causes confusion.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

P.S…..the lilac looks wonderful with the lilac WK TN, A72448. The safari lilac shirt will be avail later in the season

        1. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, will there be WK Tanks or SS Tops in Lilac to go with the Boho? What a gorgeous color! I did pick up the T-neck in Lilac. Thanks.

          1. louis dell'olio

The only other top in lilac is the safari shirt which does have a separate tank that can be worn on it’s own. There are no sweater tanks in this color.

      2. Seka

        Louis,

I think the Boho Skirt in the new colours will be long gone – long before your next Show (March 28th)!

  14. gapeach

I recently received the Aqua Safari Shirt and Tank, and it is as beautiful as I imagined it. I already had the aqua pants to match, (a great color match, by the way), so can’t wait till spring to wear them. I would love to have the new pink necklace and earrings in this aqua to go with it. I’m looking forward to ordering the pink set, since I have the safari shirt and tank, and the pictures you provided of the shirt and necklace make my mouth water.

  15. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

I was thinking of pairing the Whisper Knit Funnel Neck Sweater (A259109) and the matching shawl (A259111) in the Raspberry color with the Faux Silk Woven Fly Front Pants w/ Side Pockets (A235315) in the Boysenberry. What do you think?

If it ever is possible, I would love a pin similar to the GOLD, IVORY PEARL, and CRYSTAL PIN (J296894) in a burgandy color to go with my burgundy, bosenberry, wine, raspberry things.

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s just OK…not wonderful. They are almost the same value [darkness, but one is blue [raspberry] then the other. Pins have not sold well in general so I’m not planning on doing any anytime soon. There is a wine stone pin that is avail that does work.

      1. Writer with Flair

Thanks for your advice, Louis. I’ll check out the pin with the wine stone.

The Light Olive oversized WK sweater arrived today and looks smashing with the moss faux silk pants. Thanks for suggesting it.

  16. debby

On your last show two of the models wore new necklaces -long black and (I think) a long brown one -they looked great!! When will be having a closer look? Thanks Debby -who loves your clothes and jewelry!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debby….what you are referring to are the black ans molasses bead necklaces and earring set. They will also be avail in “crackle” white beads….meaning the white beads have irregular thin black veins. They are due in the end of March [I think} so they won’t be avail. until April {I think}…..sorry I can’t be more definitive, but with “on line only” products I never know when they will get posted to buy.

      1. debby

Can’t wait – would love to be able to afford all three!!

  17. Beryl

Any chance the ankle pants a265615 will be coming back. They are the best and work perfectly for petites. The fabric is wonderful.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes Beryl….they will be back in Black, Grey and Olive.

      1. Beryl

yay. All 3 for me.And at least 2 blacks.

        1. Joanne

Yay for me also! These pants are the best.

  18. NJlady

Happy Valentines Day to You and Jac
    What a beautiful picture

  19. Tylerpoo

Louis, will the ponte knit pants A268216 be ordered in petite length? They should be because of the 5 star rating, hope the Buyers consider this.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You would think so, but no….they don’t have the budget to order petites.

  20. mackenzie

P.S. An example of one is A263353.

  21. mackenzie

Louis, will you be bringing us the slinky knit top that is so easy to pack because it folds into nothing and does not wrinkle? I know they sell out quickly, so it would be great to get a heads up. Thank.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes….it’s coming back in new colors!

  22. NJlady

Received the Sea Green Hoodie. Adorable and left a review. I was able to size down – really cute

  23. Debra

    Dear Louis,
I am a huge fan of your clothing and always get so many compliments on your WK sweaters. But, I am looking forward to the ombre tunic and hope it will still be cut like the previous versions? the neckline and sleeve length were modest but flattering. I appreciate the modest coverage for work and other places where skin is definitely NOT in. Are there other 3/4 sleeve items coming? I already have your pebble crepe top and have worn different variations for a number of years. You mentioned the ombre tunic – when is that going to be available? What about dresses? I love the longer length dresses and maxi skirts that others have asked about. It may be February, but look forward to seeing and hearing about the new Spring items. Thank you for addressing and answering so many questions.

  24. Seka

    Louis,

Have been wearing the A268216 Ponte Pants in Black many many times this fall/winter – they are SUPERB! A fantastic fit – and they wear like iron – I can’t count how many times I have washed them – and they look like new. And absolutely NO pilling anywhere! Can’t wait for these to return – need more colours – and an extra Black.

    Seka.

  25. Beth

    Good afternoon Louis,

I was wondering if any full length leggings are planned for the fall or winter of 2016. I just love your crop leggings(A255122) and was sorry to hear that they won’t be reordered. I would love to have a full length version of those crop leggings. I am also in love with you new crop pant, A273859, they fit like a dream! Thank you so much for all you do for us!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Beth…..I will not have a cotton knit legging for fall, but I will be introducing a new Linea Body legging in Oct plus bringing back the L.B. classic legging in 4 new colors…..to be confirmed.

  26. MadameDuFiffers

Thanks for your previous answer. Another quick question: A273299 Heather Knit Hoodie good with grey hair in petunia or should I go with the navy? TIA!

    1. louis dell'olio

Petunia looks very good with gray hair.

      1. MadameDuFiffers

I was hoping you’d say that lol! I have the Linea Leisure zip front hoodie in peony which you recommended and I love it. I’ll try the petunia!

Curious: You were honest in saying no to the perfectly pink for me a while back, but I did wonder why. My thought was because it’s too pale/light, whereas the peony and petunia are darker, brighter and work better with grey hair…???

Thanks for putting up with silly questions LOL!

        1. louis dell'olio

It’s not that the paler pinks won’t work, but I can’t see you so I won’t suggest something I can’t be sure of. Jac is VERY pale and has platinum hair and she looks great in P.Pink, but I can see her….she is also very clever about changing her makeup colors. I know that stronger brighter pinks almost always look good on pale skin and light hair…whether it’s blond or gray.

          1. MadameDuFiffers

Thanks, Louis, that’s what I thought.

P.S. In my previous post, I meant to say “MY silly questions! 😉

  27. MadameDuFiffers

    Good morning Louis,

Will A263353 be returning in solid colors? Or, a better way to ask, will you have a silhouette cut exactly like the original swing sweater in a summer version lol?? Hope you and Jac are doing well.

    Madame

    1. louis dell'olio

It will be returning but only as the ombre print in new colors.

  28. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Will there be new colors in the Linea Leisure long skirt? Hoping for one in white…

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace…the skirt didn’t sell well enough for it to be reordered.

      1. Grace

Oh my, that’s surprising (& disappointing)! Of course, I wear my navy & black LL skirts year round–I think they’re so comfortable & versatile. But, I prefer skirts to pants, anyway, especially in summer. Glad to hear the boho skirt is coming in white! Are there any other skirts in the works? Please don’t tell me maxi skirts & dresses are going out of style, Louis…can’t bear the thought!

        1. louis dell'olio

It’s not that they are going out of style….it’s more that the buyers didn’t pick any……maybe the sales on those items have slowed down in general….though I personally think maxi dresses are bigger than ever.

          1. Grace

That’s good to hear! I think maxi dresses are so elegant and comfortable. Will we see any new dresses in Spring/Summer?

I have to say, a pet peeve of mine, is seeing favorite silhouettes disappear (like pantsuits with long jackets), because the fashion industry decides short jackets are the trend & pantsuits are out. Wish we could keep all options available for women’s fashions, but I know that’s not happening! That’s why I love Linea as much as I do–beautifully designed, classic clothing that I know will last. Thanks for all you do for us, Louis.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, there are two dresses that I can remember off the top of my head

            2. Grace

Thanks, Louis…I’ll be on the lookout!

  29. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

Will the Whisper Knit Oversized Sweater (A257356) in the Bright Olive color work with the Faux Silk Pants (A251590) in the Moss Green color? I was thinking of purchasing that sweater to go with the pants I already have. I thought I would put olive or brown jewelry with it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear WwF….I found the samples and they don’t look, good together…they look GREAT together. I have fallen in love with the bright olive all over again. It is a gorgeous color. I am so happy you got those pants…..they are more in style now thane when I did them!

      1. Writer with Flair

        Dear Louis,

I am so glad to hear that the light olive Whisper Knit sweater will work with the moss pants and that the pants are even more in style now. Hurrah!

A while back, I got pieces in the faux silk (the tunic and pants) in sea green, moss, and slate–and am so glad I did. I just love that fabric! I hope you will be able to make additional pieces from it or something similar to it in the future.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear WwF….good morning……I will not be using that fabric again as the reviews and sales were very mixed. I am with you…I still love the look, feel and drape of the fabric. There is another pant in that fabric in boysenberry, midnight blue and a third color I don’t remember….a dark brown? I will be having some fabulous pants in the moss crepe that I think will easily replace this fabric, and most seem to love it….we’ll see.

          1. Writer with Flair

            Dear Louis,

I guess great minds think alike. I have two pairs of the Boysenberry pants (A235315) and one of the coordinating lace tops (A237099). I just love the pleated detail in those pants–very classy, very Katharine Hepburn.

Thanks for recommending the Moss Crepe fabric. I can’t wait to see the new pants. After watching the videos on QVC for the skirt and the top, I bet the new pants will drape nicely in that fabric.

Thanks for the heads up and for continuing to make beautiful and elegant things for us.

  30. luvitorleaveit

Wow no reorder of the jean jacket! I brought the white and the blue which I wore constantly last year now I have to get the perfectly pink. Does the light tan safari go with A273859 the new khaki crops with the cuff.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes…the lt. tan safari shirt looks good with the crop pant…..so does the hooded sweater.

  31. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I just love your retro cardigans. I own black flowered, purple paisley, neutral tie dyed, black/white zebra, and topaz zebra. Are you planning any more for the coming year. One of them always goes with me on trips. They are so versatile. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne…..I do not have any printed cardigans on the pipe line, but I have sketched some for next spring.

  32. debby

Eagerly awaiting new long necklaces- when will you be showing sneak peaks? Looked gorgeous!

    1. louis dell'olio

When I get the correct samples……the earring is correct but the necklace in the pictures is not.The beads get smaller at the back neck.

  33. Chris S.

    Hello,
Will there be new colors in the denim vest and jean jacket? If so, will any of them have silver buttons instead of the gold?
    THANK YOU!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Chris…..neither piece has been reordered.

      1. Cathy in PA

Sorry to hear the denim jacet sill not be back … I own and love almost all the colors. The fit is so fantastic, as well as the fabric. Would you give a bit of consideration to bringing us a new jacket, similar weight fabric, same specs and fit … in a Ruby or Chili Pepper color. please …

  34. gapeach

I just finished ordering the Safari Shirt with Shell in Aqua. I am so excited about it. It’s a wonderful color for almost everyone, and just perks up any outfit. I have it in Perfectly Pink, which I took to France and loved the effect. I also have just received the Trench Jacket and Kate shirt, both in red, and they are the perfect shade. I added to the order the Crepe Pebble Tunic in Perfectly Pink. I wish I had ordered this before, because the fabric is perfect for warm climates. I will be in New Orleans in April, and my chief fear is the heat and humidity. The tunic and some other items of yours I have will really help with that. Can’t wait for the Perfectly Pink Necklace Set. Your spring offerings are putting a huge crimp in my wallet, but I know they look good and will last for a long time.

Thanks for sharing your fashion sense.

    Penny

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Penny….that is the answer. These pieces last a very long time, which makes the worth the expense…..They never go out of style.

  35. diane bloch

Louis-Love the new colors in the boho skirt. But I was wondering if the white
boho skirt has been reordered this year. Thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Diane…..yes the white was reordered, and will be delivered later in the season.

  36. Cheri

Louis I was wondering if you have any yellow coming this spring that will go with the lemon jacket? Yellow and your alabaster are my favorite colors. If not I do have the navy ll pants. I love both the jacket and the quited sweater and get compliments when I wear them. Thank you for all the sneak peaks and I look forward to more of the alabaster coming this spring.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Cheri……I do have more yellow coming for spring/summer, but nothing that you could wear under the lemon jacket. I really do like white under the jacket so the navy zipper tapes show up….with white or navy bottoms…..jeans are included in that. It can also be fun to pop a color under the jacket always contrasting to the zipper tape.

  37. Sue

    Hi Louis,

I thought I saw you say the re-order double breasted trench A267875 will not be available until September? I had been debating on this in the Olive and now I see there will be a new British Tan. Will this be more of a cognac or khaki color? Do you know when this will be presented or will it be an online only? Thank you!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sue….the trench coat has been reordered for next fall. The delivery date of the coat is September. When a reorder is processed it automatically gets posted on the Linea site even though the delivery is months away….it can be very confusing and frustrating especially when the wait list orders get canceled….which they do when the delivery is more then three months out. The British Tan is a dark tan…..not khaki or cognac. It is not be an on line only and will be presented sometime in Sept. Black with black will also be one of the new colors.

      1. Sue

Thanks Louis! I look forward to seeing the British Tan presented even if I have to wait until September. 🙂

  38. Melissa

    Louis,

Another question about the safari shirt, my all-time fave. So glad this is available in Aqua. I seem to remember you saying it would be coming in a lavender color too, is that correct?

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes, that is correct…..later in the season

      1. Melissa

        Great – thanks!!

  39. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I am so looking forward to your spring collection. But I have a question for next Fall’s collection. I own several of your Linea animal jacquard (tortoise collection). Will you be bringing that jacket back with new tortoise colors. I look like I weight nothing when I wear that jacket.

    1. louis dell'olio

Hi Joanne….I’m so glad you were able to get the alabaster jacket. I made the choice to bring in three new colors instead of repeating the old. It was a hard decision to make since I knew the alabaster was such a hit, but I was only allowed three colors….budgets!…..The Tortoise jacquard jacket has hit a wall and will not be coming back….too back since it is a great jacket, and as you say, extremely flattering and comfortable.

      1. Goldie76

Say it isn’t so! I was hoping for a new shade but now I better pick up another before they are all gone. 🙁 That jacket has sass and class.

      2. Joanne

        Hi Louis
How depressing that the tortoise jacket is not coming back with new colors! After your bad news I purchased the two current colors I did not own-olive and chocolate. Those tortoise jackets are such chameleons. I can make many different outfits out of those jackets with scarves, blouses, sweaters, jewelry etc. The tortoise jacket is such a beautiful silhouette. I hope sometime in the future you bring at least the style back.

  40. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

The safari shirt with tank (A214117) is posted for ordering in the new colors of aqua and light tan. This is one of my all time favorite Linea items! Does the aqua match the whisper knit and denim aqua??? Thank you!

    Carol

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Carol…..YES, YES, YES, and it matches everything else that came in Aqua like the WK and the Aqua LACE SKIRT, and the Linea Leisure hoodie, so you can wear the tank separately under the hoodie…..PLUS…..the BOHO skirt is coming in the same AQUA. I love this color….It reminds me of the Caribbean. I always give the same standard color for this Aqua…….The Lt. Tan looks perfect with the Light Khaki slim pant that sold out and works great with the new crop L.L.pant with the cuff……There will also be the BOHO in the same color. Your summer is set!

      1. Goldie76

Your aqua is the best! You’re the best ambassador for color there ever was.

        1. Grace

          Yippee for aqua!!!!

      2. Carol in FL

Thanks, Louis. That’s great news! Off to order the aqua. Thanks, again.

        Carol

      3. Joanne

Fabulous Louis! I am so excited that the Lt. Tan safari shirt goes with the Light Khaki slim ankle pants. I own multiples of those pants. I love monochromatic dressing. What a great lightweight summer outfit I will own!

On another front I made the mistake of not purchasing your Lightweight Quilted jacket in alabaster(A267878) last fall. I stalked daily and finally one came available in my size. It arrived yesterday. It is just beautiful, so slimming and elegant. I duplicated your outfit of the Linea Lt. Khaki slim ankle pants with the oatmeal hoodie, quilted jacket with some taupe suede booties. Everyone thought I looked fabulous. The outfit was so expensive looking – no one would ever believe what I paid for it.

  41. Mary in CT

    Louis,
I’m enjoying the color block cardigan (A267883) in gray/blue and would like to know if the sleevelss WK tank top (A237404) in Heather Gray is a match. I wear the sweater often with jeans and love the casual but put together look.

We got 8″ of snow in our neck of the woods but I thought your area didn’t get quite as much. More coming Mon-Tues, finaly getting our winter. I haven’t been able to wear my wool sweaters much but I have been wearing my WK sweaters since early fall!!
Thanks so much for your help.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Mary…..The color block gray is a solid color and the tank is a heather color so they aren’t an exact match. If you are looking for an exact match then I would say no. If you are looking for something gray to wear under the cardi than they do blend. I would also recommend the A267863 gray shirt. It’s the safari shirt with long sleeves and comes with a matching tank. The gray matches the color block gray exactly. It’s a terrific all year shirt in a heavier non see through georgette and it’s on clearance. It’s a terrific value. I know it’s not what you were looking for but sometimes the alternative may work out better. Look at the video of the shirt. Angela is wearing the gray shirt with the color block cardi……We got much more snow than we expected!

      1. Mary in CT

        Louis,
Thanks for reminding me of this blouse. I already own the ivory set so this is the perfect solution.
Thanks again for your fashion insight. Enjoy your week-end!

    2. Teri

That sweater goes with more tops than I thought it would. I like it best with several blue Linea tops I own. The long tunic collared shirt and the mesh sleeved top from a couple of years ago work and I imagine there are others. I wear it with this year’s grey ponte pants.

  42. Melissa

    Louis,

Just wanted to tell you I received two new items today. I got the new jacket in navy. As always, the details and quality are superb. Love it! I think it’s perfect for Florida when I need a lighter jacket. Beautiful!

Also finally tried the Kate blouse, again in navy. Now that I know what size I need, I’ll be getting more. I was skeptical about why such a “basic” blouse got so many raves. Now I know. I was afraid it’d be too short in the body and sleeves, but it wasn’t. I appreciate that I can unbutton two buttons without showing too much. Most blouses if I do one it looks dorky, if I do two it’s too deep. Love the hemline and collar stays and buttons…what a great basic blouse. I hate ironing but will gladly iron this.

Looking forward to what else you have in store for us. 🙂

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Melissa…..so happy to hear you liked everything….The navy shirt with the sleeves rolled up, the Linea Leisure white pant and some gold or silver jewelry….like the gold School of Fish necklace….and WOW what a simple but great look.Don’y forget to leave your reviews…..it really helps the other ladies!

  43. Frances Morton

Louis, will you have the Whisper Knit long sleeve, jewel neck sweater in black, 31″ again and if so, when? Thank you.

    1. Teri

I need that sweater again, also. It is exceptional, and one is not enough. Perfect neckline, perfect length and perfect sleeve.

    2. louis dell'olio

It seems Teri knows exactly what sweater you’re talking about, but I need the style number?

      1. Teri

A228341 WK long sleeve jewel neck top. Mine has seen heavy rotation, and I would like a fresh one for my Ottoman sweater with faux leather trim. Some other styles are too long in the sleeve for me. Thanks Louis!

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Teri….that was the basic tunic sweater. No there isn’t anything that simple coming in. Maybe it’s time to revise it

          1. Grace

I’ll raise my hand for this sweater, too! I have it in black and tobacco and it’s the most versatile sweater I own–the perfect Whisper Knit. Although I’ve worn both sweaters a lot over the years, they still look brand new. Would love seeing a redux in new colors–navy, alabaster or light khaki, charcoal grey, chambray blue, plus basic black and white. Thanks, Louis, for indulging us & our wish lists!

          2. Goldie76

This conversation piqued my interest, and so I checked which sweater was the topic. I didn’t buy it — now I wish I had. Very smart-looking. Has a “French” look, I think. When I was younger, I bought many sweaters with this general look. I’d love to see something like it offered again.

            1. Debra

Raising my hand too for a re-take of A228341 the basic WK tunic. It is my most loved piece of WK, and I wear it (almost) year-round. I have 4 black, 3 walnut, 1 burgundy, 1 dark green (can’t remember exact name of the green right now), and I tried to get a tobacco one to no avail. It’s great on it’s own and a perfect underpinning! Comfortable as all get-out! LOVE it!

Heather Charcoal Grey??! Crossing fingers! Be still, my heart!

    3. Frances Morton

Now that you see all the people below who want this tunic sweater, I hope you will bring it back. I need another black one and would like some other colors.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Francis….once “they” decide not to reorder a style it’s very difficult to bring it back…..it has to be different in some way.

  44. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

Will you ever be selling the Linea Signature cuff links that came with Tunic Shirt (A268129) separately? Also, will you be getting the Linea Signature Earrings (J320884) in a clip style?

    Thanks for your consideration.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WwF….sorry but the answer to both of your questions is no.

      1. Writer with Flair

Thanks for letting me know about the Linea Signature items.

I definitely am looking forward to seeing the new pink quartz necklace. What a beauty that piece is! Gorgeous!

I wish QVC would do a Linea jewelry show sometime.

  45. Joanne

    Hi Louis
As I am a blond your alabaster clothing looks good on me. I know the new swing cardigan will not be available to July. I own the alabaster short sleeve sweater and the Cady Shirt. I wish I had purchased the quilted jacket – such a mistake. Will there be more choices in alabaster for your spring and summer collection.
    Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes…..three pieces in a new gauze crepe

      1. Jane J.

Hi Louis, Can you give us a hint as to what the three pieces will be in the new gauze crepe in alabaster (i.e., pants, tank, cardigan ????)

        1. louis dell'olio

Well….they are all coming later in the season, but there will be a sleeveless tunic…a fluid pair of wider leg pants and a dress…..and that’s all I’m sayin”

          1. Jane J.

            Thanks, Louis – sounds great!

  46. Goldie76

    Louis,

When can we expect the WK Perfectly Pink skirt to be available? Will it be one of your shorter or longer (like the malachite, fuchsia, walnut, etc.) skirts?

Can we look forward to WK Perfectly Pink shells with a V-neck or a scooped neck? I bought a cardigan in WK Perfectly Pink from another online seller (you know who) and would like something that matches to go under it.

    1. Goldie76

EgaDS! Just read your reply to Carol. No spring/summer WK sweaters. Woe is me!

    2. louis dell'olio

I believe it is May. I honestly don’t remember the length. I know it’s not as long as the malachite and fuchsia.

      1. Goldie76

Can it be “tszujed,” if you want to make it longer?

        1. louis dell'olio

          ???????what does that mean?

          1. Goldie76

Was trying to spell the word that QVC uses all the time. They use it to mean “move something around so that it is more becoming on you.” Pronounced “joojed.”

            1. louis dell'olio

OK….I understand….I don’t know how you would jooje it to make it longer other than to wear it a little lower which would be possible.

  47. Yoko

Louis will there be any whisper knit short sleeve tops or tunics offered this spring?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yoko……no there aren’t any s/s WK sweaters coming this Spring

      1. Carol in FL

Louis, I am so disappointed that there won’t be any short sleeve WK sweaters this Spring. I live in WKs all year in Florida and was hoping to purchase more this year. If no short sleeve ones are coming will there be any sleeveless or 3/4 sleeve in a v-neck coming???? Thanks for all you do.

        Carol

        1. louis dell'olio

No WK for spring summer, but there will be many next fall starting in July. I have done many tops in spring summer light weight new fabrics that I’m sure you will like.WK for spring summer have been very soft sells……that’s not to say I won’t be doing any…..just not this season

          1. Diamondscribe

Louis, I would like to add my plea to Carol’s for Florida ladies who love WK all year long. Please put some summer-type WK in the plans for S/S 2017. I will be in desperate need for them by then. I’ve lost 50 pounds this year so my WK tanks are hanging right now, but I figure by 2017 they could be threadbare as well as extremely loose. I don’t understand the soft sell in Summer. WK is so breathable. It works for air-conditioning but still is breathable enough to be comfortable when walking across a blazing parking lot (and not arrive a crumpled mess at one’s next destination as with cotton). I just don’t get the “too hot for summer”. It must be a Florida thing. Here we don’t even try for something that one can wear for long periods in outdoor heat. That need is answered by swimwear, LOL. As you can tell. I love WK!

            1. louis dell'olio

You should take a peep and review what WK sweaters are still avail. There are some very cute 3/4 sleeve, short sleeve and tank options still avail.

          2. Carol in FL

Thanks, Louis. Yes, please do more WKs for spring/summer, especially in a v-neck for next year. In the meantime I’ll look forward to your other goodies.

            Carol

            1. Goldie76

My support is tossed in, too! I wear WK all around the calendar. Also, I just realized that with my heightened sensitivity in my skin lately, I am unhappy in anything but WK. Really true! I want a “WK World.” Give kudos where they belong, and they certainly belong to you, Louis. Compared to your WK, almost everything else feels like sackcloth.

  48. Wendy/DE

    Hi Louis,
I just received the cropped pants from the last show in record time from QVC! They are everything you said and more! The fabric is so soft and the style is adorable! My favorite color is the light khaki. I also stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the corresponding top with the zippers in navy. I was skeptical about the zippers on me but once I tried it on I was hooked! The collar lays so beautifully, too. Thanks for the comfortable stylish addition to my Linea wardrobe!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Wendy….I’m so happy to hear you stepped out of your comfort zone and too a chance on something new. That’s what makes dressing fun…..trying something you never thought you would and really liking it. It’s like eating something you thought you would never ever like and now it’s your favorite.

  49. Kate

I just tore open the package for your new trench-style jacket (I did premium delivery as I needed it for a trip next week) and as expected, it’s a WOW. I ordered white in size small which is my normal Linea woven-fabric size. It buttons easily with room to spare and is the most flattering length, too. I love the fabric which is nice and lightweight and the smooth hand but of course, it’s the designer details that make it look so $$$. I’d say it’s a cross between a trench and a pea jacket? I thought maybe it needed a belt when I saw it online, but having tried it on, I can see why you didn’t include one. Betting I’ll be wearing this jacket for many years to come. Thanks as always for the hard work and careful consideration that make up each and every piece of Linea.

    1. louis dell'olio

The white is really spectacular…….with all black and some black sunglasses….it doesn’t get more chic than that…..enjoy

      1. Kate

It looks really, really good over the black skort. Of course, everything looks good with that skort.

  50. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Besides the Khaki and Pink Crepe Top, are there any other colors coming or is it done until next year?
I am not a pastel person with my coloring and would love to replace my Chili Pepper (I need a smaller size now). I would love it in cobalt/lapis as well.

Also, I loved the slim rayon/span longer skirts with all of the wonderful tops. Will there be anymore of a longer or maxi type skirt coming? The black and navy are such basics and I am able to wear your clothing to work with a skirt as opposed to all of the leggings. here’s hoping!

I too am spoiled by Whisper Knit. Ridiculously, I tried to buy cardigans from another major department store headquartered in Herald Square….well, it got returned PDQ and I ordered 3 more whisper knit sweaters (4 at the most recent count).

Thanks again for answering all of our questions and the beloved Sneak peeks.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debra……I’m afraid that is it for the PC top and the long skirts, but I do have some surprises in store that are not leggings! There are some very easy flowing things coming up in the months ahead that may make you forget all about the top and skirt.

      1. Debra

        Yahoo!! Ready and Waiting 🙂

      2. Debra

Thank you Louis! I purchased two different colors of your long tropical flower print dresses last season and look forward to seeing what is coming. Your dresses (and ombre tunic) flew out the door after one presentation. Hopefully we will get some advance notice as I don’t want to miss the best!

  51. Bobbie

    Dear Louis,
Your fashions, and yours alone, have served me throughout the last ten years, for all occasions. As I have written before, all I have to do is pull from my Linea collection, including jewelry and now hosiery, and I am prepared at a moment’s notice for anything and always feel well-dressed, feminine, and fashionable. I never thought that I would have an occasion such as breast cancer for which to dress, but I do now. I decided from the start that I would not allow myself to feel like a number or another victim of this terrible disease and that I would make certain that doctors see me as a person, a unique individual, fighting the battle of her life, with grace and dignity. Sitting in one office or lab after another with nothing but a hospital gown would not do. Each day, I have worn my Linea hosiery and wrapped myself in Linea wraps, a different color each day. I carefully choose just the right Linea earrings and bracelets and sometimes a brooch on my wrap. Maybe you did not go into fashion to be a blessing to so many women, but you have been and you are. In the happiest and most joyous of times, your fashions have been part of my memories. Now, in the most challenging of times, they are a comfort to me and a “touchstone” of dignity and feminine strength and beauty. Thank you for the thoughtfulness and love you give to your designs for women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. (Whisper Knit is a true gift!) Your name is revered in our family!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Bobbie….your’s is the most wonderful letter I have ever received. If I ever forget why I’m in this business…..I will read your letter again……you make it worth while……thank you so much……..be well……much love……..Louis

  52. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Testing out my own hopeful memory this morning: Did you state some months ago that the slim ankle pant ~ A265615 ~ a personal favorite of mine, was going to be reordered for the spring in new colors? If so, fingers crossed, can you say what the new colors will be?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Nancy….they are due for April selling in two new colors, grey, olive, and black is returning.

      1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Thank you for the swift reply Louis, and for that very happy news 🙂 I’ll be watching for them with great eagerness in grey and in olive in April 🙂 I’ll be thrilled to add those to my doubles in black and in navy. They are such marvelous pants!

  53. Judy

Dear Louis, I am in desperate need of a new pair of full length Pebbled Crepe pants. Is there any chance we will ever get this most wonderfull, well loved fabric in a pair of slacks to go with our already stocked closet full of pebbled crepe tops? Please consider this popular fabric in some new slacks (32 inch inseam) please! I will purchase them in every color offered as I’m sure all of us in the south will be able to wear them year round. Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Judy….I have none in the pipe line but I am sketching for next spring and will definitely sketch a few versions…..of course that is no guarantee they will buy any but I will push for at least one.

  54. Joanne

    Hi Louis
Great show yesterday. When will the new colors in the swing cardigan be available. I am interested in the Alabaster Swing Cardigan as I own the alabaster short sleeve sweater. I am looking forward to your spring collection.
    Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne, as the cardigan is a reorder for next fall it is due in July. With reorders they usually ship them as soon as they are processed in. They don’t wait for the show dates anymore which is what they used to do in the past. I think this is a much better way of doing business. If someone is really interested in something they have more of an opportunity of getting the item they want in the color and size. If they wait for the show they may lose out……so keep an eye out in July.

  55. luvitorleaveit

Great show as always Louis that pink necklace is to die for. I have a nice haul that has come and still arriving from this past show. I can’t wait for my black, grey and taupe leisure pants, seafoam hoodie, I ordered the rest of the colors from your knit crop leggings these are wonderful I started with the olive and navy now I have all the colors. I finally got your perfect button front shirt in red, navy and white and your rosetone textured watch is absolutely beautiful! I see travel on my agenda!

    1. louis dell'olio

The pink faux quartz necklace is really a beauty….It will be avail in the pink only. It does come with a matching drop pierced earring. Something simple not big but not so small it looks like nothing. I’m sure it will go fast…..at least I’m hoping it will.

      1. Goldie76

Louis, from what you can tell, is the necklace heavy?

        It is really pretty.

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie……It certainly isn’t as light as the nugget necklace in the gold and silver, but I wouldn’t consider it heavy. The women I work with on the jewelry line have years of experience with jewelry, and try everything on. I leave it up to their expertise to make those judgments whether something is comfortable or not. For instance….this pink necklace originally had the same size beads going all the way around the neck, but they felt it was too thick at the back neck so we used a smaller size that was much more comfortable. It is a three strand necklace because I liked the presence of the three strands, but you can easily remove one and make a bracelet or two out of the single strand.

          1. Goldie76

Thank you, Louis. I would agree that placing smaller beads as you move back on the neck is a superior design placement for comfort’s sake. I look forward to having this necklace. And it’s one of the “in” Pantone shades (not that I pay much attention to that unless I like the shade, and I like this one).

            1. Goldie76

Forgot to add how much I love the way this new pink necklace twinkles. How did you make resin twinkle? Must be lots of facets to it and a perfectly clear pink (sounds contradictory).

            2. louis dell'olio

It actually doesn’t have many facets. They look like little chunks of raw quartz. Whats wonderful about the resin bead is they look real and have the imperfections of a real mineral.

            3. louis dell'olio

I guess Pantone has finally caught up to me since I’ve been doing Perfectly Pink, that they call blush, for years. I never follow Pantone, and I don’t know one designer who does. It’s mostly used by the moderate market.

            4. Grace

Goldie, sorry to butt in…I fell in love with the necklace, the moment I saw it! I purchased the pebble crepe tunic in Perfectly Pink (plus the light khaki), so I’ll have just the right canvass to show it off:) So happy to know it will be available this month!

            5. Goldie76

Grace, I always love hearing from you! There is something so romantic about that necklace, isn’t there? So feminine, so lovely. We better be careful when wearing it; we might have men falling at our feet. 🙂

            6. Grace

Goldie, HaHa!! I can think of worse things 😉

            7. Grace

And, thank you, Goldie, for the kind words…

      2. luvitorleaveit

When will the pink necklace be available hopefully soon? It will fly out the door.

        1. louis dell'olio

It is due into QVC on the 9th. I don’t know how long it will take to process the one piece. Items that go on air get priority. It will definitely be this month……he said!….LOL….I will have my jewelry reps stay on it when it arrives but they can’t be too pushy.

  56. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
Will the Pebble Crepe Tunic with Pockets (A213621)in the new Light Khaki color work with the Pale Khaki Knit Pull-On Slim Ankle Pants (A265615)?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WwF, they aren’t exact exact, but they almost are. The top is slightly darker than the pant, but I think they look terrific together.

  57. Karen Proctor

Hello Louis, Happy Groundhog Day! Is my memory correct that you plan to bring a new supply of the moss crepe skirt back to QVC? I have the navy and love it, but waited too long to order the black — I was on waitlist, but unfortunately no blacks became available. Just wondering if I there is any chance of more moss crepe. It is a great year-round skirt and looks wonderful with a Whisper Knit sweater set and tights, or bare legs and a t-shirt. Don’t know why I didn’t order the black sooner!!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Karen…..Unfortunately, I think you have a case of wishful thinking. I too love this skirt, and show it all the time in the shows with a variety of tops. It’s the perfect year round skirt while some are really seasonal. For me it’s like the perfect matte jersey skirt. I really don’t understand why it didn’t do better than it did. I know there are many of you who love this skirt, but the numbers just weren’t there…..However, I will have $ new pieces this spring in the Moss crepe, but none are skirts. The ones that are coming I think are fabulous, but then I thought the skirt was fabulous too….LOL

      1. Karen Proctor

Thank you Louis. I’ll look forward to seeing your new moss crepe pieces Spring. Meantime, I’ll keep checking the QVC site just in case a black moss crepe skirt pops up in my size.

      2. Grace

I also love the moss crepe fabric, but I found the skirt to be too short (above my knee) in my usual size. I sized up to get a bit more length & had the waist & hips altered to fit. I have a feeling I wasn’t alone with the length issue, which may explain why the skirt wasn’t as popular. I’m glad I found a solution because I love this two-piece outfit. Looking forward to the new moss crepe pieces!

  58. CC

Three new Linea leather moto jackets coming—yahoo!!! All time favorite. What a terrific jacket. Having fantasies as to what the new colors will be coming our way.

    1. louis dell'olio

Actually three are being retired and two new coming

  59. Cathy In PA

It was indeed Hubby who surprised me with the Mediterranean cruise tickets LOL; thanks for remembering. Our ‘kids” are coming along, including 8 year old grandson, so my Linea will get a workout! Fortunately the ship has an incredibly inexpensive flat fee laundry service, so I can really pack light and not worry. It’s a wonderful thing to not worry about what to pack, THANKS to Louis & Jac!

Hi Louis.. I just ordered 3 more of your crepe tunics. I love the fit and I’m petite. I also ordered your new trench jacket in an xs. (QVC measurement 42 across bust). I have your trench coat in a 6 and it fits great. I know you hate giving advise but…. Do you think the xs is equivalent to your 6? Thank you as always. I hope you had a great show.

Not to butt in, but I ordered a 4 in the trench. Wavering between the XXS or XS in the new jacket. I think I’m going to go for the XS though.

      1. Mimi

I was also wavering between the two sizes. it all depends on the bust size. I’m a 34D so I’m afraid to go with the xxs. Thanks.

I do….Jac is an xs and always buys size 6.

        Louis,

I’m a 4 and ordered a XS. Do you think I should cancel it and order a XXS? I’m 5’5″ 120 lbs. XXS in WKs. XS in woven blouses.

I have always loved your berets..Any chance you will ever have them for sale ??????????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Margie…..I have tried and tied o get them to buy them with any good results, but just go to eBay or Amazon and they have a very good assortment. I have purchased from them. mIne are usually the smaller size when they are offered in the two sizes. I find the large berets to much to deal with.

Hi Louis, I ordered your new A line jacket in all three colors. I can’t wait to get them I’m on wait list for your Trench coat in black and beige.

    Love your clothes.

    Cheers,

    Margo

Dear Margo…..I hope you like the jackets when they arrive….Since the reorder trench won’t be delivered until next Sept don’t be surprised if you order gets canceled.

    Louis,
Your lovely new trench jacket, A273861, is titled a “swing jacket”, and the word “swing” also appears three times in QVC’s description of the jacket. 😞 You have thoroughly described this as an A-line on your sneak peaks, not a swing jacket, so naturally, your Linea Ladies will be aware of QVC’s error. All of the colors are beautiful, but the red one stole my heart right away, and is on its way to me.

Thank you for everything you do for your customers. Your talent, experience, professionalism, attention to the smallest details, customer care, and love for what you do is apparent in the clothing and how it is presented. What a treasure you are!

Can’t wait until Monday evening’s show!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Jean….I find QVC often calls a jacket a swing when it actually is an A line. For me a swing jacket has a circular bottom with much more of a spread sometimes creating cones….this jacket is not a swing according to my definition.

      1. Grace

Louis, there was some confusion on the forum about QVC’s “swing coat” description, but it seems to be sorted out, now that we all realize it’s an A-line. Not all customers check your blog, unfortunately, and even those of us who do (myself included) can miss important details! Wish QVC would get in sync with their designers!

I’m ordering the white (and maybe the navy, too) and sticking to my usual size, a medium.
