    Louis,
    One more question?
I noticed looking at the home page, you show the palm frond necklace on a lilac
Safari shirt. Any idea when the shirt will be available? I ordered the lilac skirt the
last time you were on, along with the A213621 white shirt with pockets that Maria had on with the pink boho skirt.
I have a beautiful !! lilac, yellow and white pansy jewelry set from my mother from about the early 1960’s, that will go nicely with the white A213621 shirt and lilac skirt, but will be even better with the lilac safari shirt.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Shari….The matching Lilac shirt is due in May. There were two separate purchases of the safari shirt for two different deliveries. In May the Lilac, White and Sherbet will be offered.

  2. Shari Hook

    Hi Louis,
I purchased the A273895 Navy crop pants, which by the way are perfection.
I was wondering if there are any sleeveless tops that would be the same Navy color to go with the crop pants.I have a long sheer white top that I want to wear over in a flowing topper open style.

    1. louis dell'olio

A233942…..the V-neck WK tank should be perfect.

    Louis

Please tell me how much stretch is in the waist of A273859
Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Pull-On Cropped Pants? I wear a 1X in your pants but
always need a couple inches extra for comfort.

    1. Shari Hook

      Hi Marilyn
I have the A273859 crops in navy in the 1x.
I just measured them for you and relaxed waist
is 39″, but they stretch out to 44″. They
are really a beautiful fit and love the fabric.
      You won’t regret ordering them.

      1. Marilyn Place

Thanks Shari that is all I needed for them to fit! 🙂

  4. Joanne

    Hi Louis
In my notes regarding future Linea wardrobe purchases I have written that A267864 Linea Whisper Knit V neck cardigan(swing cardigan) is coming in new colors – isn’t one of the new colors alabaster. When will the new swing cardigans arrive? Is this a fall order or a spring order?

On another front I have to share with you how much I love the Animal jacquard jackets. I own grey, olive, chocolate and topaz. I travel a lot professionally. Those jackets are such chameleons. I can change the look with each of them with jewelry, skirt vs. pants, scarves, turtlenecks and various high neck blouses. One of them always travel with me. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne….yes the swing Cardigan is coming for this fall in Alabaster and it’s beautiful. I think it will be here in Aug, which is the start of Fall. July is transition, but Aug starts true early fall and fall clothes. I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying your jacket….it was one of my favorites too….I only wish I could find a replacement pattern I like as much.

  5. Karen in WA

Nice shows. I am excited about the Egyptian necklace. Will the blue go well over a blue (Or black)Whisper Neck turtle neck? Or does it need to be on the skin.

    1. louis dell'olio

It looks great over a T neck….it has a 3 inch extender so you can adjust the length to fit perfectly.

  6. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Is there a boho skirt coming in light tan?

I DVR’d today’s show and thought Jac, who looks absolutely beautiful in everything she wears, looked particularly amazing in the navy suit. You’d think she was back on the Armani runway!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace….No, the skirt isn’t coming in Lt. Tan. I actually thought it was, but I double checked and it isn’t. New for next season?. I will tell her you said that she will appreciate it. When she did Armani her hair was very short like a boys cut….he loved it that way….it went very well with his clothes. She came home from Europe with this “new” cut and was very nervous about the reception she would receive…of course everyone loved it…even Bill Blass who loved her with longer platinum hair a La Carol Lombard.

    2. Goldie76

Grace, I agree with your words about Jac. What an elegantly beautiful woman.

  7. Ashley

Louis will there be any lilac tops coming? I just got the boho skirt in lilac & hoping for a top that matches. Would also love a whisper knit short sleeve sweater in lilac. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

The safari shirt and tank in the same fabric will be coming. I didn’t do too much in this color…I wanted to see how well received it would be…..even thought this is a beautiful shade of Lilac….it sometimes, as a color, gets mixed reviews.

  8. Nora

    Louis,
Happy Easter to you and Jac! Cannot wait to see you tomorrow! Are you ever going to bring back the cotton blend swing jacket (A874340? I have it in several (5) colors and I love this jacket. So do many others – it never fails when I visit St. Armand’s (Sarasota, FL) I always receive compliments on this jacket. The other day I was just walking by and two women were commenting how lovely the jacket was! Two years ago a lady wanted to purchase it off my back! (my husband will never let me live that one down). So please consider bringing this amazing jacket back!(When I arrived home in CT the jacket was in perfect condition – no ironing needed)Love, love love!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think you may have the wrong A number, but if you are referring to the hounds tooth check jacquard cotton jacket….that jacket has been retired after 3 or 4 reorders.

  9. Kate

FYI, my review for the new jacket was rejected because I compared it to another brand. I was told I could resubmit once rewritten which I will do. Sometimes they allow mention of other brands, other times, not. Guess it depends on who’s reading and on what day!

    1. louis dell'olio

If it was a QVC brand I guess I can understand, but if was an outside brand it’s kind of silly unless it’s a legal thing. I know they don’t want us to use other brand names like Chanel, but we all do.

      1. Kate

I compared it to a designer brand and while you probably aren’t allowed to compare to other brands, mine is simply an opinion which should be protected free speech! As I said, it all depends on the mood of the moderator. At least they were classy enough to respond to my query about it. I’ll re-craft and submit!

        1. louis dell'olio

Big Brother is always watching even at QVC.

      2. Grace

I compared the new unstructured jacket to an Armani in style…my review is still there, so far. If QVC has a trademark concern, they could block out the “offending” brand name and leave the rest of the review. Doesn’t seem fair to reject it and then disallow a new one to be written…Good to know this is an issue!

  10. Beryl

    Goldie,
I can just picture you and Louis walking like the entertainers on the Egyptian video.

    1. Goldie76

You have me LOLing out loud, Beryl.

I’m glad I came back to see what everyone was up to here at the homefront.

Laughter is the best thing, isn’t it?

      1. Goldie76

No wine, but I was tautological. LOLing “out loud.” Too much strain in living, I guess.

    2. Beryl

      Goldie,
At almost 85 I love a good laugh and beautiful clothes.

  11. Carol

Since we’re all starved for Linea, how about giving us an idea of some of the new items that will be coming in jewelry? I saw the sneak peak of a large multi-colored beaded necklace you showed with A266305, and I’m definitely in for those. Anything else you can reveal?

    crdlb

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol…..there will be FOUR new jewelry items this April. They are due into the QVC warehouse by 4/6 so when they will be posted I don’t know….the process takes time. I haven’t received my samples yet so here is a brief rundown:
1-J329558, the Barrel Bead necklace and Earring set. This is the necklace I think you have referenced, but that was from my private collection, which I had reproduced with some changes. I think they are for the better. It basically looks the same with the same beads and the same length…….the colors are….Shiny Black……Crackle White [white beads with irregular black veins]…..Espresso….a wonderful bead that varies in color……hard to find color. The earring is pierced, but can easily be transformed into a clip which I have done for the model Michele who doesn’t have pierced ears.
2-J329557, the Criss Cross Cuff. This is a new wire bracelet to replace the one that sold out, but the look is totally different. This is a more refined cuff and the wires are thinner….it looks real. Unfortunately is was bought in only one size…”average”….so if you have no problem wearing bracelets and cuffs this will be fine. If you need an xl or an xs this may not work. I don’t want you to be disappointed down the road. If you are small and you like to wear a cuff higher above the wrist this can work for you…it’s a look I love especially with this cuff……The colors are….Matte Gold….Matte Silver…Chocolate …and Shiny BLACK…..which looks very new….and again HARD to find.
3-J329563, the Multi Bead Necklace set. A boring name foe a fabulous necklace. I call it the EGYPTIAN necklace because it looks like something you would see in a museum. The colors are called “brown” and “blue”…BORING….The blue is actually a combination of predominately deep TURQUOISE, black accents and MATTE GOLD….The ‘brown” is predominately an ALABASTER color with accents of Espresso beads and Matte Gold. The color beads are small rounded discs stacked together with two stations of the gold beads and a sphere of gold beads at the bottom. The earring is a drop earring with a triangular wire and beads, again pierced….This is an eye catcher!
4-J329589, the Long Seed Bead Necklace…..This is a very long seed bead necklace with four stations of unusual gold metal beads. It can be worn many different ways but I like it best simply DOUBLED for a dramatic look. It may be bold but because they are seed beads it still looks delicate….The colors are…..Aqua/Gold…..Tangerine/Gold…..Lime/Gold and Black/Gold……All you need is a white T to show off these necklaces, but they look fabulous when you mix them with other color tops.
Linea may be getting off to a late start, but I can promise you when it starts to “RAIN” it will “POUR”….I don’t think you will be disappointed…you will just have to be patient. I know you will be tempted by other things….but Linea will have everything you could want….I hope!

      1. Goldie76

As the old hit song went, I’m going to “walk like an Egyptian.” I am really pumped for that one!

        1. Grace

HaHa, Goldie! I’m right there with ya:)

          1. Grace

            Dear Louis,

The jewelry all sounds wonderful…Can’t wait for April and May! So much to look forward to for Spring/Summer Linea. I’m bracing myself for the delightful onslaught of sneak peeks:)

            1. Seka

              Loved it!

            2. Grace

I recognized your reference right away, Goldie:) You always hit the mark!

      2. Carol

Thanks, Louis! It all sounds so good! Can’t wait.

  12. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,
I wanted to let you know that I “took possession” of my beautiful Pink quartz necklace and earrings on my birthday (this past Monday) and wore them out to dinner that night. They looked great with the charcoal grey ensemble you had suggested a few days ago and a wine leather purse and matching captoe shoes I also wore. My husband thought that I was “one classy lady” in all my Linea finery. Thanks a million, Louis!
The review for this set was written the day it arrived at our house in early March. I wanted to be sure to let Linea Ladies out there everywhere how great the set was. I checked and it’s still there.
I’ll be sure to go back and double check that all my other reviews are still on the QVC website. That’s a bummer about reviews disappearing. I think I will start saving mine in my word processing software just in case that happens in the future. It’s always something, isn’t it?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WWF…..HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’m sure you looked fabulous…your hubby certainly thought so….that’s a really wonderful compliment he paid you…..wear it in good health!

  13. Chris S,

    Hi,
I know your taller Linea Ladies are happy about the 32″ inseam on the new A273303 pants, but I only need a 29″ inseam on straight leg pants. I’m wondering what you think of shortening these pants a full 3″. I’m guessing since it is a straight leg it should be fine, but sometimes shortening that much causes a “chopped off” look. If you think they would work, I’d like to order before they disappear from inventory.
    Thanks for your opinion.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chis….Firstly, I’m sorry I can not offer two lengths, but it’s not in the Linea budget to offer two lengths, so instead of loosing all of the taller ladies [32″ isn’t even considered a tall length, but it will do for most], I chose to offer it at 32″. You should be fine with the length. I will be showing it on Brenda whom is shorter. She claims 5’8, but I’m not sure if she ios, and she will be in flats.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

You should be fine. I will show it on Brenda who is a shorter model with flats.

      1. Chris S,

Thank you for showing these on a “shorter” model in flats. I am only 5’4″ and can only wear flats or a very slight heel. Even if you offered them in petites, they wouldn’t work because I need the length in the rise. I usually order the regular length in your pants, then have them shortened. I’m okay about taking them to be shortened as long as the shape of the leg isn’t effected.
How do you ever plan for all of our body types????

        1. louis dell'olio

You simply can’t…you just pray and hope for the best…..LOL

  14. Debby

    Have a Very Happy Purim!!

  15. Rochelle

    Dear Louis,

Recently I was able to acquire two of your discontinued acrylic/wool blend pencil skirts, new with tags, in colors I hadn’t seen before. I have most of the others. One was a light pinkish/beige, the other a tan/brown. The latter reads more of olive tones than a true brown. Did you ever make this skirt in an olive color? I paired it with my tobacco swing sweater. I really like these skirts, not only for fit, but I can wear them year ’round.

    Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Rochelle……I did that skirt so long ago I honestly don’t remember all of the colors I did it in. Sometime back we switched to the WK because it matched the sweaters and women liked it better without the wool. I do have a WK skirt in olive that is being discontinued also.

    2. Enjay

Hi Richelle – jumping in to say that this skirt was made in olive. I have it – it’s a great color. This is my favorite skirt – I own most colors that were made and I hoard them! I’m probably in the minority, but I like it much better than the whisper knit. I thought it was a more “pencil skirt” cut, while having the advantages of a knit. So flattering – I was very sorry to see it go!

  16. Jackie

Louis, I am buying and updating my spring summer wardrobe now. When will your spring/summer collection be featured? I see other QVC lines starting and I am very much waiting for you. Will you give all of us some insight?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jackie, my big shows are scheduled for April and May. I am going to have lots of new things and new fabrics. New pants and matching tops in Moss crepe and Crepe Gauze [new] A wonderful faux de chine dress….A new Safari type jacket with a combination of fabrics all dyed to match [wonderful]….a swing dress in P Pink, Alabaster and Black coming in May in the new gauze crepe and separates in another new gauze perfect for summer…..and much more.

      1. Joanne

        Hi Louis
Your new stuff sounds wonderful. I hope we will get sneak peaks. As I live in Chicago, I am still wearing winter stuff. April and May will be fun. Thanks.

        1. louis dell'olio

Of course you’ll get sneak peeks

      2. Jackie

Louis, thank you for your response. I was beginning to wonder…….
I look forward to your upcoming shows with credit card in hand!

        1. louis dell'olio

Be patient, and don’t spend all of your money….I have great new things and fabulous reorders coming

      3. Sheesh

I just told myself yesterday, after ordering both “soft suits”, that I would not be ordering any more jackets—and then you tell us about a new Safari Jacket! Why oh why do I lie to myself like that?! LOL

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

STOP the self flagellation!!!…LOL….How can you torture yourself by saying no more jackets…LOL There are some beauties coming, but not your typical jackets….a la the safari…and the new gauze jacket is TDF

  17. Diamondscribe

Louis, I’m excited about the upcoming order of A263353 in new colors. Was wondering if the A265609 Printed Asymmetrical Hem Tunic Top might also get reordered? That is my all-time fave because the 3/4 sleeve makes it perfect for Florida and my favorite neckline is the Vneck. Just thought I’d check.

    1. louis dell'olio

Unfortunately at this time no. I say it that way because it had all the criteria to be a reorder, sales were great and returns were low….but no budget for it.

  18. Maia

Dear Louis, I’ve started to wear my Linea pull-on knit cropped leggings on the warm days we’ve had lately and to wish I had more than two pair. Will A-233186 be coming back this season? I have black and what I think is walnut.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Maia, they have not been reordered.

      1. Maia

Thank you for the quick reply. Looking forward to the Gauchos/culottes!

  19. Nancy Stegehuis

Good Morning Louis, I purchased your faceted necklace J273583 some time ago; however I have always kept it safe in its original pouch away from other jewelry. I bought it in purple and haven’t worn it a lot, but I do love the little copper beads that accent it. I pulled it out to wear today and the beads spilled everywhere. It is an absolutely beautiful necklace and I’m hoping you can suggest where I can send it to have it restrung. I have recently moved to a new area and am not quite familiar with the trades people out here yet. Thank you for your attention and assistance.

    Nancy (Red)

    1. Goldie76

      Nancy,

Don’t mean to intrude, but Louis recently responded to “Anonymous” (below) who had a similar question. Here is the exchange:
      Dear Louis,
My Irregular Bead Multi-Strand Necklace (J284035) recently broke. Is there a place that you would recommend sending it to for repair? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Absolutely, send the necklace to the following address:

      Repairs Department
      C/O TCJC LLC
      3B Industrial Drive
      Smithfield, RI 02917

Enclose a check for $7.50 made out to TCJC LLC for return shipping
Also enclose a brief letter stating you are a QVC Linea customer, what is wrong, your name and return address…..you would be surprised how many people forget to give their return address.

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Nancy….I hope you have read Goldie’s response. Follow those instructions and the necklace will be repaired. Please me know how it works out.

      1. Nancy Stegehuis

Thank you Louis, and also the other person who responded. I DID see that question from the other woman; however, I didn’t know if that company made all of your jewelry or not. I am delighted to send it to them and will definitely let you know how it turns out!

I appreciate all of your help.

        Nancy

Also I just saw the name at the top of the reply, so thank you Goldie76!

A267882 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit Short Sleeve Top–Louis this is my all time favorite as whisper knit top. It is sold out and has great reviews. Please tell me it has been reorder😍
If for a some odd reason it is not reordered please consider designing a new one exactly the same only 2 inches longer in length. May I also request it in navy. Thank you for making me & my life more beautiful.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Yoko…..as of now the sweater has not been reordered, but that’s not to say it won’t be. As you say the reviews are excellent and the returns have been very low so it meets all of QVC’s criteria for it to be a reorder item. I am pushing for it, but it may not come back until next year….hopefully Jan. or Feb., but no promises as the decision is not mine.

  21. Sallie

    Hi, Louis…..

A question: Your top: “A263353 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Printed 3/4 Sleeve Hi-Low Hem Tunic” was such a hit. I missed my chance at ordering it in the peacock….I do have the red and love it. Will this top ever be brought back……even in other colors(for spring)?

    Sallie

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes…..it is coming back in June in two new colors…pink to dark grey and aqua to dark grey.

    Dear Louis,
While we are on the subject of necklaces . . . I will take “final possession” of my pink quartz necklace and earrings set on my birthday (Monday, March 21). I say “final possession,” since I have been asking my husband if I can “just look at it” every day or so since it arrived at our home. I can’t wait to wear it.
Whenever friends or family have asked me what I wanted for my birthday or other special occasions, I have said “Linea, please.” When specific suggestions for possible gift items were requested by my potential benefactors, I had no trouble putting a list together in a flash. One such benefactor, my dear husband, has become so familiar with my Linea preferences that he commented that the pink quartz necklace set would look nice with all my Linea Perfectly Pink items. (Yes, he actually used the words, “Perfectly Pink”!) I am in Linea Heaven!
Thanks for the information regarding repairs. I’ll send the necklace off right away. I love that necklace and look forward to wearing it again.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WWF….that very funny…….it’s good to hear that I’m not the only husband who has been trained well by their wives! Don’t forget to leave your reviews once you take possession!…….

So I got my suit today. I work in Corp America and wear suits a few times a week. Louis – you need to take a bow. Oh my goodness! This suit is amazing! The fit and as someone else said my arms look smaller. Plus I am so in love with the pants. I am 5’9 and the pants look tailor made. I really need these pieces in black and brown. I got the navy but I am going back for gray. You are the only designer on Q that makes clothes for us corporate gals and I for one am grateful.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Shan….I so glad everything was to your liking and it all fit! enjoy and please don’t forget to leave your posts and reviews. As you can see the emphasis at the Q is Leisure, but I know there are many who need these kinds of clothes and I think you all are being neglected………..

  25. Dolores

    Dear Louis,
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan. Your whisper knit tops have provided loads of comfort. I have a port near my collarbone and the Kate
shirt is perfect for chemo sessions. I ordered the lunchtime special ivory /navy cardigan and red kate shirt for the next session. Looking forward to
getting them! It’s important to look good .Hope no other Linea Ladies have to go through this

    Dolores

    1. diane bloch

Dolores- Myself and all the other Linea ladies wish you the very best. I’m sure Louis
appreciates hearing that his designs are bringing you comfort. I send a prayer your way for a full
      recovery.

      1. Goldie76

        Dear Dolores,

Please know that my prayers and thoughts are among those of the sisterhood of Linea Ladies who are rooting for you and your full recovery. Feeling that you have put your “best foot forward” is so important to well-being, as you, Louis and the others understand so well. Beauty uplifts, and Linea fashions are beautiful.

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Dolores….you are an inspiration for all of us. Sometimes people don’t understand the power of the mind. When we look good, and we are comfortable in what we are wearing we do feel better…..even having to go through what you are dealing with now. If I have been a help in any way…I can’t express how happy that makes me. We are all on TEAM DOLORES, and know that everything will work out well……..God bless…much Love…..Louis

  26. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

I received my navy jacket (Linea “Solid Knit Blazer” — A273302) today by regular post. In a way, I was a real test for your jacket. Kate and Grace are both on the tall side and, I think, trim. They must be knocking this jacket out of the ballpark! I write that because I am not tall and am one of your zaftig Linea Ladies. My size large looks wonderful on me, if I must say so myself. How I wish there were a coordinating skirt to go with this. The jacket drapes beautifully (it is very flattering), makes one’s arms look slimmer and hits at the ideal point on the hips and buttocks. I love this jacket’s feel and look so much that I am tempted to pick up the grey although the particular shade of grey offered does not become me that much. F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! Thank you. You have done it again!

    1. louis dell'olio

Goldie….I’m so glad to hear the jacket worked for you. Grace and Kate are definitely on the tall side. I think Kate is a sm/med in B&M stores, and I’m not sure what size Grace wears, but I’m sure the ladies would love to hear your perspective.

      1. Goldie76

I just left my review, and I made it clear I was a Large and drew attention to the fact that the jacket — because of your designer wizardry — made my arms look slimmer. I don’t have a “thing” about my arms, but I noticed that they looked sleeker in the jacket. More like the former me. This jacket can go over a skirt, jeans, casual slacks — even a sundress. Wow! What a jacket. I will buy the grey. Would you wear the Smoke shell from the crinkle georgette set under the grey jacket? Of course I could a spicier color under it — a color that flatters me.

        1. louis dell'olio

I’ll check tomorrow when the light is better, but you could put many colors under it. I do prefer soft colors for some reason….even the lilac shell or anything pink or a soft blue and aqua tank from the crinkle safari shirt…..that’s the brightest I would go with the grey……apricot, celadon too….nothing too glaring or harsh.

          1. Goldie76

Thank you for this insight, Louis. I never would have had that approach, and we know which of us has the talent in this category. I’ll look for gentler colors. As some have already noted, including you, the delicate fabrics go beautifully under this jacket. Again, that would not have been my first instinct.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

What would you have chosen? There are lots of things that would work.

            2. Goldie76

I would have selected a scoop-neck top with a little more heft than the delicate shells. But I tried on the Smoke from the crinkle set and it looks great, fabric-wise. It brings another dimension that was not anticipated.

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

              Both would work….more choices

          2. Sheesh

Don’t forget the “flecked” tank with the Grey—that’s one that I’m planning to wear with the Grey. What do you think?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Those flecked tops…tanks and short sleeve will come in very handy this spring summer season I will be showing thew olive and natural. The sea foam color works well too. What colors do you have?

  27. Grace

    Dear Louis,

I also received my grey & navy suits today (express delivered) in two different sizes (smaller of the two fit). So, I’ll exchange one before they’re presented on-air and sell out! I also LOVE the suit for all the reasons Kate mentioned. The gaberdine fabric is lovely–drapes beautifully–and the styling has a modern, yet classic look. The pant fits me as if it were tailored just for me, including the length–loving that 32-inch inseam! I can see wearing this as a suit and as separates–I will be buying multiples of the pant. Taking all your suggestions on what tops to wear…I just happened to be wearing your ivory safari shell/blouse when I tried on the grey suit and with those pretty grey pearl buttons, I thought it looked lovely paired with the pants. I think everyone will be thrilled with this suit…I’ll be sure to post my reviews.

I also received the techno jacket in caneel blue and that’s a winner. Gorgeous color and it’s nicely fitted. Now I’m off to order the black & grey!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace…..I am very happy you love all your new things. The suit is very special and not your typical jacket so I am doubly pleased you like it, and the pant I think will be a run away once the reviews are in. I am also very happy to hear you like the new Leisure jacket. Knowing how you felt about the animal jacquard jacket I was a wee bit nervous this would not be what you expected. It has a slightly easier fit and glides over the body more than the other. Besides leaving your garment review, please post on the Linea Forum where most wait to hear the verdict…LOL

  28. Kate

My new suit arrived in Linea navy and I LOVE it. (Impatient girl that I am, I paid for super-fast delivery!)

The hand of the fabric is very luxe and the cut of the jacket is modern and fresh, and because it’s not a typical suit jacket, super versatile, too. I’m wearing it today over skinny white jeans and it’s so chic and cool. I ordered my usual QVC size for woven fabrics and the fit is spot-on.

As for the pants, I need at least a 32″ inseam and these are exactly right to wear with a moderate heel. Such a flattering, easy pant that will be in heavy rotation as a separate. I may order a second pair and have them cut to ankle length since they fit so well.

Of course it goes with all Whisper Knits but is there anything in your collection that you particularly like this suit paired with? Is there something that you see to wear with just the jacket and jeans? Love any ideas and inspirations!

I will leave a review later today.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Kate…..I am so happy you like the suit. I’m showing it with the tank that goes under the safari crinkle georgette shirt because I like the idea of something flimsy under these soft jackets. Since I don’t have any pretty lace trimmed silk or charmeuse camis on the line…that’s the best I can do,, but I bet you have a slew of them. Today you can wear real beautiful lingerie camis and no one would know the difference since so many designers are putting lingerie on the runways. I also like soft lingerie colors under the suits….That’s one way to go. On the other side I would just like a Hanes white T shirt with some fab jewelry and tight jeans

      1. Kate

I’m actually wearing it today with a white cotton T and it looks really good.

I do have a zillion of the silk camis you describe (Lafayette 148 does really nice ones in great colors) and I’d not thought to put them with the suit, but I will now!

I’ll be ordering the grey suit today. I hope it does well so we can have it in basic black, too.

Thanks for the tips (and by the way, my dress/shoes/jewelry for the Oscars was a huge hit-thank you and Jac for all your help. I’ll send you a picture via email.)

        1. louis dell'olio

I’m sure you looked amazing…..can’t wait to see the pics!

  29. Joanne

    Hi Louis
Your techno knit jacket arrived. I purchased the black and caneel blue. The fit is fabulous. I intend to wear to gym over slim yoga pants and a skinnytee. You are correct the techno jacket does not fit as closely as the animal jacquard, but it is still quite slimming. I also like the hand of the fabric as well as all of the design details for the techno jacket. I already left a wonderful detailed review on the QVC website. I know how important those reviews are. Thanks Louis

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You are the first to let me know you have received it so now I can breath! I’m glad you like it. The fabric is very different than anything I have ever used.

  30. Jane J.

Hi Louis, Every once in a while I watch a shopping channel (not QVC!)that specializes in jewelry. One day one of the hosts wore a beautiful top. I thought it looked familiar. At one point, she stood up to show a long necklace and said the color of her top was Imperial Violet. I knew immediately it was your swing sweater A259620. Since then I have seen her wear that top in that color several more times. Obviously, she loves it and she looks great in it. It is striking. I have that top as well and I also love the color. Long way around, but, are you planning to do any more pieces in that color?

  31. Suzanne

    Hi Louis:

Can you tell me what the new colors for the slim pant, A265615, will be. And when?

    Thanks–Suzanne

    1. louis dell'olio

Olive and Grey…..because they are a reorder style they can make them avail as soon as they are processed into the system. They are due in April. but can possibly come latter this month.

      1. Joanne

Is black also coming back on A265615 slim ankle pants? I just love those pants.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, but only black. The budget was big enough to bring back all the colors plus adding new so I only was able to bring back the black if I wanted to add two new, which I did.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

            I mean’t it wasn’t big enogh

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

              My typing is terrible!

      2. Beryl

This pant is the greatest. Looking forward to it.

  32. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Is A262453 the Moss Crepe coming in a 3/4 sleeve (and a jewel or bateau neckline) top soon? are there going to be skirts or a dress?
I adore my crepe tops and am sorry that more colors are not available. As I continue to lose weight, I look to your tops, tanks, and fabrics that I can wear to work without being overexposed, sheer, or ill fitting. They are my uniform, I know that when I purchase your whisper knit (I cannot tolerate other manufacturers’ sweaters now that I have your WK), crepe, and rayon/span, they will last, look marvelous, and always be appropriate for all settings.
I would love to hear more about the upcoming items for Spring in skirts, dresses and tops. I so appreciate that your designs are longer length on the skirts and higher necklines on the top.
By the way, I still love your rounded neck tank in rayon/span and turn that around to wear to work with great comfort and appearance.
    thanks,
    Debra

    1. Debra

I meant to write your Pebble Crepe items. I have not tried your moss crepe yet.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra….there are more styles coming in the Moss Crepe for spring and one more in the pebble crepe for summer which is a sleeveless button front tunic that could possibly be worn as a vest…..not sure if the armhole will be low enough for layering. Since I don’t have a sample yet I can’t be sure if you can layer it.

  33. TrishM

Today I am wearing my mint green hoodie tunic with the mesh trim. I’m wearing with leggings and flats and it is so comfortable and flattering. Yesterday I wore my nectarine hoodie with jeans and my Louis tank. So awesome I didnt want to get into my jammies. I really didn’t think I would like either top, but I love them both.
Regarding your new unconstructed suit, the photos on the Q site – the grey looks a little shiny..do you have any say in the photos?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Trish….I think you can answer your own question. The photos and on line presentations are their responsibility and are totally out of any vendors control.mthat is the primary reason I do my own sneak peaks. I can’t believe the photographer knows anything about photographing clothes. Rule number one….NO HANDS ON HIPS…..rule number two…when photographing very dark pants keep legs apart so you can see the hang of the pant… The photo of the gray pant isn’t any better, The fabric isn’t shiny at all.

  34. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Which suit photo best represents the true shade of grey? I ordered both the navy and grey, but was curious whether it’s the darker or lighter shade. Love the look of this suit!

      1. Grace

        Oh, good! Thanks, Louis.

  35. Carol

The unconstructed suit in gray and in navy has been posted for ordering. Just a heads up….

  36. Sara

Last summer I ordered the eyelet button up blouse in black -#A265616-through QVC- Absolutely loved everything about it, but hand washed it prior to wearing only to have it shrink from a size 14 to a 12. I measured it before washing it, so would know if shrinkage happened-I was sick because when I called to have the 16 sent, the size was sold out. I have been on their wait list hoping you would restock the inventory. I just checked and that has not happened. My question is, is it possible to order directly through your website or any source? Or do you have plans to produce more? Any way to buy one?
Thank you and hopefully you will have a positive answer.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sara…..sorry you had this problem. Unfortunately, I have no other outlet for QVC products. I do not stock any garments. They are cut to order and sent to QVC. You may want to check e-bay. Some of the women have reported they have had some luck there. If anyone has any other suggestions for Sara please let us know.

    2. Teri

Try pressing the fabric. This flattens the embroidery and can make a difference. It worked on mine.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

That is vey true. The embroidery can shrink in, but when you give it a press it goes back to it’s original shape

  37. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Can you give us any hints about what we’ll be seeing later this month?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace…..I don’t really have much new for this month, but I do have one fabulous un-constructed suit in a new Gaberdine fabric in a wonderful soft finish. The Techno jacket was also new this month but “they” decided to show it early…..which is a good thing…My Spring/Summer really starts in April, May and June with lots of new. So hold on a little while longer, and don’t spend all of your money before hand!!!!!…..LOL

      1. Grace

Louis, that suit has piqued my interest…sounds right up my alley! I’ve already ordered the techno jacket in caneel blue, but expect to add the black & grey–it’s such a versatile everyday basic. I’m hoping it fits like the jacquard, my favorite!

Good to know when we’ll see the bulk of the Spring/Summer season. I promise to pace myself and be patient!! But, truth be told, your line is always worth the wait:)

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Grace….I hope you aren’t disappointed with the fit of the Techno jacket as it is not as fitted as the animal jacquard. It has an easier fit…..still shaped, but not as close to the body.

          1. Grace

Louis, as long as it has shaping, I’m happy!

  38. Debbie B

Hello Louis, I just received your pink necklace. I love it. I saw one of the reviews asked for this in blue lace agate version. I would love to see it in that option, to wear with jeans. I hope you have great results in this necklace and that you might be asked to do it in another color…..blue, please.
    Thanks for the lovely set
    Debbie

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debbie, I never know how these on line only things sell until they are sold out. If it sells out quickly and the returns are low they might reorder for next year. I googled “Agate Stones” and there are a wide variety of blues. “Blue Lace” is the color I have been asked to do amongst others….like aqua…..Is Blue Lace the color you mean?

      1. Debbie B

Yes, Blue lace is the color. It is light blue with a faint white striation in the stones. I already left my 5 star review. Fingers crossed that it sells out with no/low returns.

    2. louis dell'olio

P{lease don’t forget to leave your review on the Linea jewelry site and the Linea forum. I know women want to hear opinions and the more the better.

      1. Carol

I’m the person who requested blue lace agate version, so I do hope we can get that one. It will work with the other Pantone color of the year, serenity, so it would be right on trend with the QVC fashions. Love the rose Quartz version. A good reference stone for a more turquoise version might be Larimar. I’d like that version, too.

I just want to say the evening you described, spent at the state dinner with the Reagans, sounds like a magical time. Yes, Nancy was glamorous and she brought style and elegance to the WH that we have not seen since her departure. Like Jacqueline Kennedy, she was a class act. I am happy you had that occasion. May God rest her soul. She is now with her beloved Ronnie.

  41. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, do you have any idea when the A263353 tunic is expected? I had waitlisted the new yellow and aqua color combos – which, of course, got canceled 60 days after their short-term posting in the system. I sure hope this is a spring item rather than late summer. We’re having the perfect weather for that top. I wore the tunic in the peacock colorway this week and thought of the two new colors. Can you describe somewhat the colors are blended in each of the two new colorways? Thanks.

    1. louis dell'olio

Sorry to disappoint…June is the delivery date….not my company….not my decision. The new colors are Aqua to dark grey, and pink to dark grey

      1. Pecan Cookie

These colors sound wonderful. Thanks Louis

      2. Diamondscribe

I’m in for the aqua. I guess they didn’t go with the yellow as they originally posted in the system? Pity. That’s one of my favorite colors for summer. I don’t do pink much, but I will certainly add the aqua to my wardrobe.Love Linea aqua!

  42. Victoria1

    Louis,
Will there ever be another go-round of your splendid draw string ponte knit slacks. I have them in the charcoal gray and brown and they are my go-to for everything. The fit, weight and drape are superb. I know I will hate when they wear out. Perhaps a navy and black. They might look good with your leisure black and Caneel jackets up today …

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Victoria….at this point no. They did not do well enough to be reordered, but I love the style and think it is more relevant today then ever. I will keep submitting sketches.

      1. Grace

        Drawstring, drapey pants sound divine…

  43. Nicklaus1

Your Techno Knit Jacket is up on the QVC site

    1. louis dell'olio

Thanks for letting me know…..I’ll take a look

  44. Goldie76

In the hope that politics can be set aside, I think that the death of Nancy Reagan signals the passing of another fashion/style icon. I admired her Chanel suits and lovely dresses and blouses with large bows at the neck. The funny thing is that I can no longer think of her clothing without picturing the lovely green torsade necklace that your offered us during your season of jewel tone colors. You also offered the necklace in red and a multi-. In your layout of the green necklace, you showed Nancy Reagan in a similar necklace and a gorgeous green gown. I’ll never forget it — it was beautiful!

    1. louis dell'olio

I too will never forget her or that magical evening in the White House……It was all too perfect…the rooms decorated for Christmas…snow falling outside the windows….Mrs Reagan resplendent in her deep emerald gown and jewels, and to be honored to sit at her table! She was definitely everything one would think the White House stands for…..elegance and most of all dignity.

      1. Goldie76

What a beautiful memory, Louis. You ate at HER table as the snow fell gently outside. If you wrote that before in your presentation of the green torsade, I did not remember, but now I will. “Dignity,” yes.

  45. Chris S.

    Louis,
My beautiful gold single bar necklace arrived yesterday in perfect condition and I’ve already managed to scratch both sides of it. I’m not sure what I did! I’m happy to pay for this beauty to be fixed. Do you think replating it might work? If you think that is an option, will you repost the contact information for the manufacturer. I’ll write to them and see how much it would cost. If it wouldn’t be worth it cost wise, maybe I should think about reordering it while there are some in stock.
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

  47. Joan

    Dear Louis
Just purchased the boho skirt in both lilac and aqua. Could you please tell me if A213621 the pebble crepe tunic with pockets in the same colors will be coming in?
If not, what would you suggest to wear with them? Thanks so much.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joan….the pebble crepe top is not coming in those colors, actually the PC top isn’t coming back this year…..the P.Pink and LT Khaki will be it for this year….I know I would love to offer it in a dozen colors…..I will be having the crinkle georgette safari shirt, A214117, which is the same fabric as the boho, in the matching colors. The should be avail soon. The Aqua is avail now, and the other will be a little later in the season with another color called Sherbet….Personally I also love the Lilac WK TN with the skirt…..the colors are wonderful together. Do you not own any of the WK sweaters in the Aqua? There were about 4 styles avail at one time.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

        What color is Sherbet?

          1. Chris/Jazzmom

Thank you, like a light coral! Perfect with the light tan safari shirt.

            1. louis dell'olio

Yes or reversed the sherbet shirt and the Lt khaki boho skirt.

            2. Chris/Jazzmom

So to clarify, the safari shirt with tank will be in aqua, light tan, lilac and sherbet? And there will be boho skirts of the same colors?

            3. louis dell'olio

The shirt is in all colors but the skirt will not be in the sherbet, but it will be in the other three, and already is avail in I think two of them?

  48. Joan

    Dear Louis
Just received your boho skirt in both lilac and aqua. Could you please tell me if A213621 the pebble crepe tunic with pockets will be coming into QVC in those two colors? If not, what would you suggest to put with these two skirts. Thanks so much. Just ADORE all your clothes! The BEST on QVC!!

  49. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

I would like to second this comment by Designista: “The A267863 blouse and tank in numerical sizing is the best fitting blouse that I have ever purchased from the Linea line.”

I have all 3 colors in 3X (and 2 of the ivory) and it is far and away my favorite fitting Linea woven blouse. I particularly love the button placement close up to the neck keeping the neck opening from flopping open too far – something I really hate in most 3X blouses.

  50. gapeach

I got the Pink Frosted Bead Necklace today, and am over the moon about how great it looks with my Perfectly Pink tops. I just finished posting my review on QVC, but wanted to let you, too, know how beautiful it is. I wrote earlier that I hope you can also do the set in Aqua, because I think it will be as perfect for items in that color, and I know you have a few of those. For the first time in my life, I am feeling some regret that I never pierced my ears, and thus cannot wear the earrings. However, the necklace more than makes up for it.

I also recently ordered the Boho skirt in Pink and Aqua, and am delighted to find I can wear skirts again. (I lost some weight last year and am now the same size top and bottom. I plan to try more of your skirts.) I also agree Safari Shirts without the tabs–are some of your best. I have those in Pink and Aqua, too. I also like them with the tabs–that’s a great style and fabric.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear gapeach….You are the first to let me know about the necklace! I am so happy you like it! Please make sure to post on the Linea Forum as well as the jewelry reviews. I know there are women waiting to hear…..Also, it’s never too late to get your ears pierced……It is a lot less painful today. I remember Oprah getting them pierced on her show….With her huge pear shaped diamond earrings she HAD to have them pierced!

    2. jmarie

I would also add that often a jeweller can easily convert an earring to a clip style. It might be worth a consultation.

      1. louis dell'olio

That’s very true. You don’t even have to go to a jeweler. Many craft stores or bead stores sell clip on backs that can easily be switched. Michelle, one of the models I use doesn’t have pierced ears! and some times I have to convert an earring for her. It’s very easy……all you need is a needle nose pliers that can be found in any hardware store. I usually use two to get the job done.

        1. Writer with Flair

          Dear Louis,
Thanks for sharing how to convert the pink quartz earrings from pierced to clips. My necklace and earrings set are already on their way, so I will look forward to converting the pierced earrings to clip.
Would this procedure also work for the logo earrings(J320884)? I’d love to get those earrings.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….because the part that goes through the ear is part of the earring so there is no way to remove it and replace it with a clip.

    3. Goldie76

My pink Frosted Bead Necklace with Earrings (J329550) also arrived today. What an absolutely lovely color! Only you, Louis, can concoct such a light confection of pinkness. The muted frostiness gives the pink its deliciousness. I would not like a “pinky pink” color for jewelry. This color has a rich look.

      1. louis dell'olio

That’s because it has the same coloring as real pink quartz…..you can’t beat the look of nature.

  51. Ruth

    Dear Louis,
I thought I’d take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making blouses and jackets with sleeves that are the correct length! I’m not enormously tall ( 5’6″) and I get so frustrated that so many other designers make sleeves that are too short for me. Since sleeves can be shortened but not lengthened, it seems that designers should design on the long side of the spectrum.
Why do some designers would make a long sleeved blouse with sleeves that are three inches too short?
Please receive this with the admiration that accompanies it.
    Ruth

    1. Ruth

P.S. I would also include sweaters and anything else with long sleeves in my lament.

    2. Ruth

Why do some designers make sleeves that are too short?

      1. louis dell'olio

Dear Ruth…I have no answer for you. The proper way to measure a sleeve length is from the center of the back neck across the top of the shoulder to the center of the sleeve cap and then down to the wrist. If you measure from where the sleeve cap is set into the shoulder that can vary to much. Sometimes the width of the should can vary which can change a sleeve length,. For example if a jacket has a shoulder pad the sleeve needs to be a longer measurement. If you measure a sleeve length with the garment laying flat on a table it can be different than on the body….especially with sweaters… Usually a regular sleeve length can range from 23 to 24 inches, but three inches is extreme. QVC does have sleeve length requirements for a long sleeve. Style can also determine a sleeve length…….3/4 length sleeves can vary a lot, as well as a bracelet length sleeve and elbow length sleeves can also vary….Then of course even if there are women who all take a sized that doesn’t mean their arms are all the same length. I always prefer a longer sleeve to a shorter sleeve having long arms myself.

        1. Ruth

Thank you so much for all the information about what goes into determining sleeve length. I can see it’s quite complicated.
I’m very glad that your clothes fit me perfectly so please continue creating your lovely styles.

  52. designista

I want to express my extreme disappointment that two of my favorite and best fitting Linea items were put on clearance by QVC shortly after they were first introduced.
The A267863 blouse and tank in numerical sizing is the best fitting blouse that I have ever purchased from the Linea line. I tried one, and ordered the other two colors at full price. I was hoping for more colors. Please use that blouse pattern again for a new introduction if possible. The FIT is far superior to the Safari and Kate shirts, not withstanding the fabric and details. The shirt had a slow selling start until reviews came in, but it never should have gone to clearance…just my opinion.
Then there is the hoodie, A270903, in the new fabric. I ordered the Taupe and Lemon at the featured price. I was so impressed with the fit and layering possibilities with the silky lining that doesn’t cling that I ordered the Nectarine at full price. The last couple of weeks I have been in the canyon country of Northern Arizona with the temperatures ranging from 18 in the morning to 65 in the afternoon with a strong wind. This hoodie was the perfect layering piece especially over a flannel shirt that would otherwise stick to the hoodie when trying to take it on and off. The layers started with a short sleeve thermal under shirt, the Whisper Knit elbow length mockneck, a flannel shirt, a North Face vest, and THE HOODIE. It was layering at its best, and when the layers came off, the fit of the mockneck and hoodie on their own were still stylish for a great lunch. The fabric doesn’t wrinkle, is lightweight to pack, and dries quickly when laundered. I would love to have vests from this material on the same fit pattern as the Linea Leisure vest in cotton/span. I was hoping to see the blouse and hoodie reordered in both the fuchsia/magenta and black colors…oh well.
Are there any spring/summer tops coming in fuchsia?

    1. Pecan Cookie

Just FYI, the A267863 blouse & tank is now Limited Quantity.

    2. louis dell'olio

I too was very disappointed they put these pieces on clearance so quickly, especially when there are things that are much older that are still at full price. I feel this way especially about the hoodie which was only introduced just before New Year…the last week of Dec. Now is when you really need a jacket like this. I feel it was offered too early….but then you have to look at it this way….it’s a great buy for those who held off. NOW is the time to buy it and possibly two or three….The colors are so much fun. This type of baseball/ windbreaker style jacket has almost replaced the Moto on the fall runways.

      1. designista

The Turquoise hoodie on clearance price just arrived, and the color with the heather is much softer and prettier than I expected. If it wouldn’t have gone on clearance, I never would have ordered another jacket. So, thank you QVC.

        1. louis dell'olio

designista….glad you like the color….all of the colors are softer and prettier than they appear in the photos or on air…..I think it’s a great price for that quality of jacket, and there isn’t anything else quite like it on QVC…..or anywhere for that matter, and I’ve just been through the stores.

    Dear Louis,

How I wish I had taken a chance on the “3-Bar Necklace” (J325472) sooner, when all metal colors were available. Once I understood what a wow this piece is, it was too late. With diligence, I was able to grab the goldtone before it disappeared forever. Since it receives so many compliments, I decided to get the chocolate metal. (Since I wear a lot of your various brown shades, I have a lot of use for it.) How I would love the silvertone, though. Pity that this substantial and beautiful piece is not returning.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie……I have found that most of the pieces are best as a one time only situation…..They do very well and sell out, but when we bring them back…they don’t. There are exceptions like the Fish pendant. The Single Bar had a very large wait list, which unfortunately was canceled, but due to that the S.B. was brought back….let’s see how it does. At this point when something sells out I’d rather let it go and bring in new. It makes the pieces more valuable and more of a collector’s item when there are only a limited amount produced.. I have seen original AK Couture items selling for hundreds of $$$ and they originally were no more than what I am now selling my Linea pieces for. I guess you already own the single bar in the colors.

      1. Goldie76

        Dear Louis,

I support your reasoning about reorders. As for the single-bar necklace, I have all colors but the silver. You know I will get that, too. The heft of your metal necklaces is absolute perfection. Really ideal. Of course, what you do with a finish in nonpareil. For several reasons (and I know what they were), I was slow to move on the 3-bar necklace. My mistake. That is one handsome necklace — that’s all I can say.

    Dear Louis,
I know that you mentioned before that you were unsure whether or not the Whisper Knit Short Sleeve Top (A267882) in the Alabaster color was going to be reordered. If not, will there be any more Whisper Knit items in the Alabaster color coming in other styles? I would love to see a turtleneck in that color.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear WFF>>>..there will be other styles coming in Alabaster…..The SS WK sweater hasn’t been reordered as of yet, but does qualify to be reordered so I will keep pushing for it.

      1. Writer with Flair

Bless you for your efforts to bring back the Whisper Knit Short Sleeve Top in the Alabaster! We certainly appreciate that. Thanks, Louis!

      2. Beryl

        Thanks Louis,
I’m lucky enough to own that sweater in all 3 colors. I would certainly order several more in alabaster. I love this sweater and any color you offer I will certainly buy.
        Love ya.

    2. Joanne

I stalked the short sleeve alabaster sweater and the alabaster quilted jacket in my size what seemed forever. I was successful! My efforts were so worth it. They are both lovely items of clothing. Besides Louis’s beautiful designs, the alabastor color is so lovely whether a blond, brunette or redhead.

  55. Tylerpoo

Louis, please see my post on 2/26 @9:46am, I know you have a lot of posts and just missed my post. Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry for the late reply, but I don’t really know how to answer it since “they” have been very hesitant to order skirts like that. I don’t know the reason, but they always pass them. I always have a few skirts sketched, and i will continue to do so.

  56. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

If you do not want to post my sincere suggestion for a wonderful documentary, I will understand. With a full heart and excitement, I recommend “The Last Man to Walk on the Moon,” a documentary focusing on former NASA astronaut Eugene Cernan and that special time in U.S. history when we had the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs making our mark in the cosmos. This documentary is poetic — truly very special. It opened in some small art houses this past weekend, but is available on iTunes (that is how I finally got to see it). Please read the review linked below to understand why I was so moved.

    http://www.houstonchronicle.com/local/gray-matters/article/New-film-tells-story-of-The-Last-Man-on-the-Moon-6856371.php

The only dog I have in this race, as they say, is that I was privileged to do a lengthy interview with Gene Cernan last year. It was an honor.

    1. Goldie76

I was so rattled about submitting this that I gave an incorrect title. It is: “The Last Man on the Moon.”

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie….no need for me to post it….you have posted it, and it sounds wonderful!

      1. Goldie76

So glad you responded, Louis. The film is better than I expected (ashamed to write that but it is true. Sooo much better than anticipated). I had no idea that the editing, music, vision guiding it, etc., would give it something special. It is doing quite well on Rotten Tomatoes, too. It is different — footage that you expect but with a special vision behind it. When you see Gene on the old and rusted towers once used for rocket launches, you feel an ache for a time of heroism that has passed. A time when we were winning the Space Race. I don’t know. I admire that Capt. Cernan wants to re-inspire America’s youth during his final moments on earth. Something to be said for that. That is why he finally agreed to the movie; he did not want it to be about him.

  57. Eileen

Hi, Louis, I’ll get up early so I can watch you tomorrow. I have some questions–I think you mentioned that A267875 trench coat will be coming back in September in black on black–I wonder if you could tell us what the two fabrics will be. A265615 slim ankle pants. When will those be coming back? Is the gray light or dark? A255122 knit pullon crop pants. Will they be reordered? A267864–I bought that cardigan in 3 colors, and I would like you to know that I have worn them more than any other sweater this winter, and I bought many colors of the WN tanks to wear with them. Do you think that cardigan will be coming back? — Just wanted to give you a little feedback to let you know how happy I am with all these things. Thanks for always being so nice.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Eileen…..the trench coat is coming back in the same fabric as the original. Reorders always come back exactly the same. It’s a poly/ rayon /spann gaberdine…….I’m not sure of the exact date of the pant….I’ll have to get back to you, but I think Aug. or Sept……the gray is a darker gray but not charcoal…..a dark med. grey..

      1. Joanne

        HI
I was under the impression that that A265615 Linea slim ankle pants would be coming in March or April. I am a huge fan of those pants and own multiples. Have they been pushed back to August or September. I do know from previous questions that the colors will be Black, Gray and Olive.
        Thanks Louis

        1. louis dell'olio

You are absolutely correct!!!!! My mistake….They are due in April, and since they are reorders…..they will probably be avail before my show date.

          1. Sheesh

Oh, Louis, this is my favorite pant—EVER! I have 3 Black, 2 Navy and 2 Khaki—can’t wait for the Gray and Olive–doubles on each!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Sheila! Winter is almost over!! Happy Days!! I am so happy you are pleased with this pant….If the new batch sell out…..fingers crossed…and they want to reorder again…..which hardly ever happens with a pant! I’m going to need color suggestions………..even though it will take another year….so put on your thinking cap!

            2. Joanne

I just love those pants also. I own 2 black, 2 navy and 3 khaki. They are the best. I intend to purchase multiples when they are offered. As far as new colors I would enjoy a chocolate brown as well as a ivory color. My definition of the ivory or off while color would be a pant lighter than the Lt. Khaki.

            3. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne….I would love to do them in ivory like the WK or even white, but I’m afraid they may be see through, and unfortunately there isn’t any white or ivory fabric to test them in. It’s really difficult to make white bottoms…..Believe it or not there are many factories that won’t even make white garments! It’s too difficult keeping them clean. Even fabric mills charge more for white because there is a lot of fabric that can’t be used.

      1. queendiva

LOVE that cardi! Have it in two colors. Can’t wait for more!

        1. Joanne

I am looking forward to the swing cardigan in alabaster and Burnt Umber.

  58. Tylerpoo

Louis, was doing a little closet clearing and found A221814, I know many of the Linea Ladies have this skirt, it is at least 4 yrs old.It is the best and definitely a winner Would you consider doing this in the same crepe fabric or another fabric, the style is what really makes this skirt.

    Thanks

  59. Chrystene

    Hi Louis –

I loved the red necklace you sold couple of seasons ago but missed out on it. Do you have any red necklaces coming this spring-summer season? Can’t wait for your next 1 hour show.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chrystene, nothing in red coming…..but I’ll keep it in mind

      1. Writer with Flair

Ditto that, Louis, on anything like the red (or black) multi shape torsade necklace (J290366). Unfortunately, I missed out, too.

Also, could you ever do a long vest–possibly in a Whisper Knit? I like the long over lean look.

        1. Kate

That would be cool. Zara offers “waistcoats” (look like long vests to me) in lots of fabrics and they always, always sell out.

  60. Patsy Nauer

    Louis,
Love your jewelry, I am waiting for the single Fish Necklace to return….Hoping you will have it in more choices of the metal. When do you think it will return on Q V C ???? Thanks Patsy

    1. louis dell'olio

      Dear
Dear Patsy, I don’t know if the fish is coming back. I know my jewelry rep has made inquires to the buyers if they want more and I have suggested other metal colors, but things move very slowly……I will be on this Friday morning on FEW at 6am and again on Sat. 2/27 on AM Style…..my next one hour show is on 328 at 5:00pm.

  61. namealreadytake

Just an FYI: Louis, go to important dates and make correction: February 26 is Friday, not Monday. OK? Thanks bunches. Don’t want to get it mixed up and miss your show.

  62. Cela

Hi Louis! How are ya? I’m feeling SPRING! Any hints for us Linea fanatics?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Cela….I’d love to give you some hints about spring, but my shows are scheduled so far off that I don’t want it to be anti-climatic…..let me think about it. I don’t want to leave you all high and dry for so long.

      1. MadameDuFiffers

        I’m having withdrawal symptoms LOL!

      2. Cela

That would be tragic. But I’m thinking you’ve become a bit of a killjoy of late. Ha ha, love ya.

  63. Karen in WA

Louis, I am seeing some pretty pastel floral dresses for spring. I am tempted, then I think as soon as I get one, you will come out with a prettier one. Do you have any spring dresses coming?

    1. louis dell'olio

      Yes…..but no prints

      1. MadameDuFiffers

YAY! A solid colored Linea dress for me! 😉

  64. bcm

Louis , I have your pearl earrings (10 mm) that come in 3 or 4 (don’t recall) in a set. Today, I was looking at the video where you and Amy were presenting the 72in pearl strands. In that video, your lovely redheaded model (her name escapes me at the moment) is wearing your burgundy pearls with her all aubergine WKs. My question is regarding her pearl earrings. On the model they appear much larger than 10mm. I have noticed that in the past. Are these earrings jumbo, or do they just appear that way because of the way they look on the model’s ears?

    1. louis dell'olio

I’m not sure if they are the jumbo ones which were samples that everyone thought were too big for the average woman. If so they are not avail. I don’t remember what I showed. If I find the video I’ll let you know.

      1. bcm

Thanks Louis. The video I mentioned is available when you click on your 72 inch pearl strand.on the QVC site.

        1. louis dell'olio

Yes….that’s Kate, and the earrings are samples that they thought were too big.

          1. bcm

Too bad. I think the larger pearl size is quite striking. I love your jewelry and enjoy wearing much bolder pieces now than I did in the past. In my youth I wore classic jewelry, but more traditional in size. I find that now that I am older I prefer sophisticated, but bolder jewelry that makes a statement . They are wonderful, complementary accessories to your beautiful clothes.

  65. Sue

    Louis,

I was wondering if your petite pull-on ponte knit pant A256444 has been reordered. They fit me perfectly and I would love more pairs!

    Thank you

    Sue in CT

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sue that pant was reordered once, but not again…..so what is left are the final quantities.
