…………….PURPLE HAZE……….a very appropriate name………The Purple Haze and the Raspberry are very difficult colors to capture………..They either come out too bright, as is the case with the Raspberry, and not quite smokey enough……….but don’t misunderstand…..they are not by any stretch of the imagination….dull colors……I like to think of them as feminine, sophisticate….romantic colors……I hope you agree. Above, I have the PURPLE HAZE paired with the CAVIAR pant, and I think it is a wonderfully chic combination. Again, I have both cardigans with the MOCK NECK and the MUFFLER…..As you can see the Mock Neck is avail in both  the Raspberry and the PURPLE HAZE…….. The Purple Haze was created to go with your VIOLET TWEED jackets, and likewise the Raspberry was created to go with your Raspberry Tweed jackets………….enjoy…….much Love……………Louis

On this rainy dank Sunday afternoon, Jac and I decided to take a trip into OUTER SPACE………and what a ride it was!!!!……….If you are lucky enough to have an IMAX theater near you….you MUST see this movie. If you don’t…. than 3-D will have to be good enough………This movie, without a doubt, will win every OSCAR for SPECIAL EFFECTS, SOUND and MUSIC…………….Sandra Bullock, who I absolutely LOVE, just may have the Oscar in her back pocket…..she was that good, and George Clooney was his charming best……….but……..it’s the trip that will ASTONISH you……….WOW…….I don’t think I will be booking a trip on Branston’s flights into space anytime soon…………………I’ve now been there……….and thankfully have returned to my little peaceful corner of the world…………………….don’t miss this movie…………”GRAVITY”…………..is one of the all time best!

The ASYMMETRICAL HEM is what separates this dress from all of the others, and gives the dress a modern edge…..definitely….a STATEMENT DRESS! The dress….”WALKS” beautifully, which means when you walk in the dress it moves and flows gracefully. I would love to see this dress worn with beautiful POINTY TOE, SINGLE SOLE [not platform], HIGH HEELED ….BLACK SUEDE BOOTS…or pointy toe black suede pumps. These are the shoes of the season…….SLEEK MODERN….CLEAN…….fabulously cut shoes and boots. It would also look great with black opaque tights and a sleek black suede shoe bootie. The dress has a back zip for comfort. The second color choice for the ASYMMETRICAL HEM PONTE DRESS, A238536…..is ……….VIOLET……a beautiful deep and saturated color……The silhouette of the DRESS, and the silhouette of the SEAMED JACKET,  A229475…..work PERFECTLY together….almost as if they were meant to go together…..and they were!…….. The colors are PERFECT……..I have the VIOLET dress simply accessorized with the MULTI COLOR, MULTI STRAND GLASS BEADS NECKLACE, J284038……The metallic multi strand necklaces, J284035,  in the gold or silver would also work beautifully….A  BLACK or VIOLET suede pump would complete the look…….also….another HOT HOT pump of the season to consider…….. is the………GOLD LEATHER PUMP….there are many out there this season at all kinds of crazy prices…but 9 West at the DSW web site has a beauty at an incredibly low price……strange at it may seem….they become a neutral, and they are lots of FUN….I will be showing them on my Oct 18th show……actually, I have already shown them when I did the “hit” from Bryant Park…..when we previewed the TOPPERS!………..scroll down……………….enjoy………………….much Love………………………….Louis

The third and last color being offered in the ASYMMETRICAL HEM DRESS, A238536….is………….MALACHITE…………again, the SEAMED JACKET in MALACHITE, A229475, and the MALACHITE dress work perfectly together. There is a slight difference in color, but only the absolutely MOST FINICKY will be bothered by the difference…..you will never find another dress or jacket that matches these any better…….This is the perfect HOLIDAY dress………..a beautiful color, an easy fit….and so comfortable!…..I have accessorized the jacket with my NEW BROOCH, J284040, in the GREEN/BLUE combination…………..On the dress I have the DOUBLE SIDED CROSS, J284039. For this choice, one side of the gold cross has an EMERALD stone, and on the other side the stone is SAPPHIRE…there is also the GOLD/RUBY/VIOLET option that would work beautifully with thee VIOLET DRESS. Also, with the cross I have combined J284036, the super long EMERALD and GOLD bead necklace……To give the whole look  a little “EDGE”……I have added the…..MULTI CROSS NECKLACE, J270119….in the matte gold……….For me…..it makes the whole look…..Is it necessary?….no….it’s just my esthetic……J284037, the GOLD HAMMERED EARRING with the center STONE is the perfect compliment to the other pieces of jewelry……… I know there will be some who do not like the asymmetrical hem…..and I would say….then this is not for you….Not everything can or should be for everyone.
