The PONTE KNIT DRESS, A236137, has already been posted on the QVC LINEA site, so I thought I had better post it without haste! Many of you have asked for a “basic” little dress…….well there is basic and there is BASIC. On 7th Ave we used to joke when some of the collections would come out, and that some of the dresses were SO BASIC, we called them “sloper pattern dressers”…..which is the basic pattern from which you start to design….they consist of a front and a back and sometimes sleeves….the kind of dress a 12 year old would make in Home Economics class…….This dress is simple, but by no means a “sloper’……..From the top:…..the dress has an open jewel neck…perfect for all of my new IRREGULAR BEAD NECKLACES……..there is a horizontal seam….lower than an empire seam…..more like a high waist, which enables a better fit. There are body seams front and back….again…..for better shaping and fit. There are inserted BAND POCKETS which are positioned for easy access. There is no added bulk……..The sleeves are bracelet length, which gives the dress  a some what retro AUDREY LOOK. As you can see from the photos….the TOPAZ works with the TOPAZ suede jacket incredibly well…….a terrific look………I also love the dress with black, and it looks super under the new BURGUNDY LEATHER BLAZER. All of the necessary garment measurements are already listed on the Linea site……….for your convenience their is a back zipper. Since the dress is made in my PONTE KNIT, there is no need for a lining. It is totally comfortable and provides you with maximum stretch……….This dress has been given no air time…..but you know me….the minute I hear that… I figure a way to show it in the show….so keep your eyes peeled!…………………………enjoy……much Love………Louis

Decked out for the Holidays. The SPRUCE GREEN PONTE dress, A236137, with the BYZANTINE LINEA NECKLACES…&….CROSS……is a wonderful way to look for the Holidays that are coming……I especially love the convertible BYZANTINE EARRING. You have three in one…..a BUTTON, which is small in size, so everyone can wear it……add the matching COLOR DROP BEAD for a second look, and for still one more look ….change the drop to a PEARL DROP, which ALL come in one package……That”s a lovely Christmas gift. …..Everyone loves TWO for ONES…and this is THREE for ONE! I have combined the GREEN button with the RED drop….of course to achieve that look you would have to purchase two sets of earrings, but you would get EIGHT WAYS TO WEAR THEM…….. The SPRUCE GREEN DRESS looks great with the S.GREEN SUEDE/KNIT jacket…..but think how fabulous it would look under the new Topaz suede, or the Burgundy leather, or the Violet, Topaz or Teal seamed jackets from last fall, and how wonderful it will look with the new FUCHSIA jacket that is the additional color coming this fall….Throw it on with a JEAN JACKET…tights and FRYE BOOTS…..the possibilities are truly endless…….It’s a wonderful color!……………………..enjoy………..much Love………..Louis

There is one last NEW  item in the show, but I’ve decided to keep it a secret……no SNEAK PEEK!……but a hint…..it will be a new WHISPER KNIT SWEATER which is not part of the OLO group………..I think you will like it!

The BOUCLE V-NECK SWEATER, is A236148……….The color above is……….WALNUT……….This is a beautifully constructed and knit sweater. There are vertical ribs that OUTLINE the V of the sweater ……come together at the point and continue down to the hem. This technique of finishing the neckline avoids adding looped on trims which can add bulk to what is a very LIGHT WEIGHT sweater. The sleeves and hem of the sweater are finished with matching ribs. The sleeves are long. I measure the sweater to be, laying flat, approx. 26 to 26 1/2 inches long…..always check your QVC measurements for accuracy.  Due to the weight, this is the perfect layering piece…..you can add a tank, T-shirt, or cami if you wish…to show at the top or not. The yarn is super soft, so it is very comfortable against the skin…The yarn takes dye well, so the colors are deep and saturated. The up close photos, with the flash, make the yarn look shiny….it is not..  ……..In the above photos I have the sweater paired with the NEW WALNUT SUEDE/KNIT JACKET……..&………The FEATHER JERSEY PENCIL SKIRT in the olive, A233969. I truly think this skirt has been over looked, and would be the PERFECT year round skirt for my Southern Ladies, and those who live in a mild climate.. It is fully lined, does not CLING….washable and totally comfortable. I would love for you to read the reviews…….it really is a sleeper………..The earring is the Olive combination of J271863. I show a lot of OLIVE, and for me, this earring is the perfect compliment…………..the necklace is being considered for next SPRING 2014…..another necklace inspired by the NORTH AFRICAN people……if you are a sweater collector, and like different yarns….this one may capture your fancy……………….enjoy……….much Love…………Louis

A236148, is the BOUCLE V-NECK SWEATER………the second color is ………………..SPRUCE GREEN……………That is the name, and a Spruce Green it is….however, it does not really match any of the other spruce green garments……..so you should consider this a wonderful separate to  mix with things and other colors you already own….such as, navy, charcoal  and light gray, camel. khaki, deep burgundy, walnut, hemp, black…..jeans…etc.etc. etc……….Above, I have it paired with jeans for a real Saturday casual look…..or for the office….with the NAVY FEATHER JERSEY MAXI SKIRT, A233970 is the regular length…and….A233971, is the petite length…..another fluid skirt that I think has been overlooked…..great for travel,,,,,,,,,a LONG SKIRT that doesn’t take any room…….and of course…washable……Wear it with the matching FEATHER JERSEY NAVY TANK, A233962…or not. I have accessorized with the LOVE KNOT NECKLACES in both the 18 inch, J270121, and the 36 inch, J270122 length necklaces…..the color is GUNMETAL….and they are happily both back in stock. I know there were many of you who missed out on the first go around, so they are back due to PUBLIC DEMAND!.
