A228341, is the WHISPER KNIT TUNIC reorder. It is a JEWEL NECK sweater that I introduced last fall and was an immediate sell out. The BLACK and WALNUT have been reordered and two new colors have been added……..TOPAZ………&………BORDEAUX……………The Topaz you are familiar with. It is the same color as the seamed blazer from last fall…….a real AUTUMN LEAF COLOR. The BORDEAUX is a deep rich wine. I would say the photos to the right capture it best. The photos to the left are a little washed out due to the flash………..it is a gorgeous color. As you can see in the photos , it works perfectly with the RASPBERRY TWEED JACKET and the new WALNUT PANT. I have accessorized the outfit with two of my ANTIQUE BRASS TONE HAMMERED RING & BEAD NECKLACES, the matching earring and my signature WINE BERET. The beads of the necklace really pick up the color they are placed upon, in this case the Bordeaux……giving the beads a deep rich color. The Bordeaux sweater also is a great match to the Bordeaux LEATHER/KNIT BLAZER. This tunic is already avail for ordering and many of you have received it. TOBACCO is the second new color being offered in the A228341, TUNIC JEWEL NECK SWEATER. I have it simply shown above with a black KNIT PENCIL SKIRT. The new WK or the ACRYLIC/WOOL skirts would work equally well. Three strands of GUNMETAL LOVE KNOT NECKLACES [two long & one short], add just the right touch. The TOPAZ is a great accent color and is a match to any of the TOPAZ JACKETS I have offered….the SUEDE and the SEAMED JACKET from last fall. It is also a wonderful accent to BORDEAUX, CHARCOAL, WALNUT, FOREST and SPRUCE GREEN, NAVY and of course BLACK….plus a whole range of other colors. It is also a wonderful accent to the SIENNA TWEED. This is definitely a color to have in you wardrobe. Unfortunately my photos came out a little dark!…..This Tobacco, just to be clear, is NOT the tobacco from spring. The SHIRT & CARDIGAN………A TRUE AMERICAN SPORTSWEAR LOOK………There are many times when a shirt and cardigan is all you need, and there are other times when these layers enhance the jacket you are wearing. The combination of textures and colors, subtle or not, can make all the difference when putting an outfit together…………The two pieces I am presenting to you now are terrific examples of that………………………………………

A237555, is the FAUX WASHED SILK SHIRT. One of the important focal points here is the FABRIC. I have only used this fabric once before, and the immediate reaction was….”please bring this fabric back”. It is 100% polyester….but when you feel it….it feels like 100% SILK. It has a “washed finish”. The process of finishing  this fabric is similar to that given to silk. The LOOK, the FEEL, the DRAPE are all the same characteristics as a washed silk, you really can’t tell the difference, and that is the reason the reaction was so positive…………A235312, A235313 and A235315, are the styles that were made in this fabric…..I suggest you read the reviews….especially those about the fabric……….This is a CLASSIC SHIRT, with a classic shirt collar and stand. It has a two button cuff, and a hidden placket front, so there are no visible buttons. In between each button the placket is tacked so it can not fly open. This step is not done on all shirts, but it does show quality. The shirt is approx 26 inches long for the XS. It has a slightly curved bottom and has side slits. This is the perfect shirt to wear on the outside of a pair of jeans, or with a pair of dress pants as shown above. Tuck it in or not depending on the look you want to achieve…….either way, the shirt on the body….. will always FEEL SENSUOUS!!! I believe the color above is called……………. PEWTER……….The sweater tied over the shoulders, in the photos to the right, is the PEWTER SILK & CASHMERE CARDIGAN………………..This is an easy care garment, which makes it great for all 0f you travelers………………………………………………………………………………………………….

A237552, is the CARDIGAN. The color is…………GRAPHITE……………The fiber is acrylic/wool, and I have used this successfully many times in the past. The knit pencil skirt and V-neck tunic are two garments that many of you own in this particular yarn. Some find the wool a little itchy, but the great majority do not, Jac who is very sensitive to wool, is not bothered by it at all. Of course, worn with the shirt, there should be no problem at all…………….The cardigan is LONG….approx 29 inches for the XS.,,,,,,,Great for LEGGINGS…… There are side slits too…………The sweater is knitted in the EVERY NEEDLE RIB construction, same as the pencil skirt, so this is not a flimsy sweater nor is it heavy. The ENR construction is a very expensive way to knit a sweater, because it uses a great deal more yarn.  This construction gives the sweater more body. Some of the WK styles are done in this construction…..it depends on the style…..for instance the shawl collar and surplice sweaters in the WK are both done in the ENR. This construction can allow for  the elimination of any other add on finishes that can add bulk to the hems of the garments…..it comes off of the knitting machine…FINISHED!……The buttons on the cardigan are dyed to match, and basically fade away, so they do not conflict with any accessories you may select…………The combination of the PEWTER SHIRT and the GRAPHITE cardigan works perfectly under both the SIENNA and VIOLET TWEED JACKETS…….. I have included in the picture collage some accessories that I think work beautifully with the shirt and or cardigan…………..J273959, the PANTHER LINK WATCH in SILVER, J270119 the MULTI CROSS NECKLACE & J270120 the matching earring, J270128& J270122 the LOVE KNOT NECKLACES, [the crosses and love knots are both back in stock]. The SHIRT, A237555, and the CARDIGAN, A237552, above are both in ……………………..LILAC………………the color in the photos is not quite true. The LILAC is a little softer……the flash always plays tricks with color. I have the sweater and shirt paired with the new NAVY PANT, A237556, that will also be avail in WALNUT……it’s the same fabric as the Camel, Caviar and Black pant that you recently purchased. I also have the shirt worn with the IVORY SILK & CASHMERE CARDIGAN tied around the shoulders. On the bottom is the ……………FEATHER JERSEY MAXI SKIRT, A233971, in the NAVY. This is the perfect skirt to be worn NOW, and all year for my SOUTHERN LADIES. It is light weight, has wonderful MOVEMENT and is HALF LINED………..another wash and wear piece……another item with GREAT reviews………….These Lilac pieces look terrific combined with the VIOLET TWEED JACKET, and are in the photo collage of said jacket…….The LILAC shirt is worn with the PEWTER WK TANK…………Here are the PURPLE PEARLS AGAIN, J264035, and if you notice in the upper left photo….the new pearl stud that will come pierced and clip…..in a range of colors….,,,,,,,,,,,, they will be avail this coming Jan….in a “Three Pack”…………….enjoy………………much Love…………………………….Louis

In  little over a week, on…..SEPTEMBER 24th….from 5:00PM to 7:00PM…..I will be presenting my second grouping of Fall/Winter clothing. I have decided to start the sneak peeks with something you have ALL been wondering about…..the MELANGE TWEED JACKETS, A237642………………….This is one of the finest fabrics I have ever offered to you……it is designer quality, and as a matter of fact, fabrics very similar to this have been purchased by names you all know……..the only difference between their garments and mine……will be the PRICE! To say the fabric is exquisite….is an understatement…..I think you can tell by the close up how intricate a melange it is. The fiber content is 54% polyester, 33%wool, 11% acrylic and 2% other fibers…..one of those being a very fine crimped Lurex thread. The first color I’ m offering to you is…………….VIOLET, and it is a melange of…..BLACK, GREY, IVORY, WHITE, a SOFT VIOLET and a soft RASPBERRY/FUCHSIA yarn. There is also a very fine metallic yarn, but it is SO fine it’s hard to tell if it’s gold, copper or rose gold……whatever it is…it’s EXTREMELY subtle. The overall look of the fabric is….. soft and LUXURIOUSLY FEMININE…………The jacket is fully lined in the beautiful satin quality I always use. It has long sleeves and has a two button front….the buttons are also two tone……creating a HORN BUTTON effect. There are two pockets with flaps…..if you have NO intention of using the pockets….then I would suggest leaving them sewn shut. The jacket is approx. 27 inches long for the XS. There is also a very short center back vent. I would call this jacket……. SEMI FITTED…..it definitely has shape but it is certainly not an hour glass. I would recommend buying the size you normally buy………IF…..you are between sizes you can go to the smaller size…..if you like your clothes close to the body and have no intention of layering….you can go to the smaller size….but …..if you intend to wear it layered….as I have illustrated above…..get your normal size……….there is absolutely NO reason to size up……….My mannequin is wearing the VIOLET TWEED JACKET with the A237394, charcoal LINEA PONTE PANT, that is avail. now….OLO. It has already received rave reviews and unfortunately is now only avail in sizes L thru 3X. My Plus ladies….what are you waiting for to try these pants? Don’t let “slim leg” scare you……They were fit separately on a 1X model and they looked great….as a matter of fact the fit model ordered ALL colors. Don’t let these pants slip through your fingers……you will be kicking yourselves latter………My mannequin is also wearing the NEW FAUX WASHED SILK SHIRT in LILAC, A237555……..and yes, it is the same fabric as the three pieces from July that those of you who purchased….have fallen in love with…..There will be a separate sneak peek on this fabulous shirt. On top of the shirt is the WHISPER KNIT TANK, A237404….in PEWTER……if it is no longer in your size….no worries….it will be avail in the new “POSH KNIT”…………To finish the “LOOK”……I have accessorized the outfit with the Linea Pearls in PURPLE, J264035….the quantities are dwindling fast….just saying…if you are interested get them, because purple probably will go the way of the wine and green pearls! I  have also accessorized the mannequin with the new stud pearl earring and bracelet coming in January. To top it off….my signature beret in Lilac….not avail.
