………………………The ART DECO PATTERNED DRESS, A259946, will be presented on my October, 27th, 1:00pm show. I love anything “ART DECO”……. According to Wikipedia….”Art Deco first appeared in France after WWI, and began to flourish internationally in the 20s, 30s and 40s before its’ popularity waned after WWII.The style is often characterized by rich colors, bold geometrics, and lavish ornamentation. During its’ heyday Art Deco represented LUXURY and GLAMOUR.”……When I think of Art Deco I think of the top of the Chrysler Building in NYC….with it’s Arcs all LIT UP in the night sky…….I truly don’t believe we have  ever achieved the beauty and glamour of that period …..in all areas of design….Architecture, Furniture and Furnishings, Cars, Jewelry and Clothing….an on going inspiration……….a time gone by, but never forgotten………………………..

…………..This dress is my ode to Art Deco. The swirling pattern with the pin dot background is very reminiscent of that period. The fabric is a knit, very similar to the flame stitch fabric. There are PIN DOTS of lurex that glisten when caught by light…..like the Chrysler Building. The fabric is 87% nylon/8%metallic/5%spandex. The back of the fabric is silky smooth and the skirt portion of the dress is lined. There is a back invisible zipper, but some of you may be able to put it on over the head without opening the zipper….if you choose. The cap of the sleeve has shirring for a very feminine almost 40s look. The bottom of the sleeve is finished with shirring and a loose elastic. The neckline has a jewel shape……The dress skims the body, and then flares out and drapes at the hem creating a beautiful MOVEMENT. The XS dress measures approx 43 1/2 inches long…..The dress is sized S,M,L…This dress should not be limited to the  evening only, though it certainly can be worn on dressier occasions…I think it can be appropriate for the office, depending on your position and the type of company. It is appropriate for a luncheon or a special dinner out…any occasion when you just want to look extra special……Certainly, with the Holidays soon approaching…..this would be just the right thing to slip on and go…..I see this dress worn with my new BLACK SHEER TIGHTS and a beautiful pointed toe BLACK SUEDE PUMP…..or my……BLACK OPAQUE TIGHTS and a slender HIGH HEEL or MID HEEL BLACK SUEDE BOOT………If I were still making shoes, and price were no object, I would have made SWIRLED PIECES of  Spruce Green Python with Black markings, done in an open work pattern, in a shoe boot design to emulate the pattern of the ART DECO DRESS……..I am offering one color in this dress…………and it is a combination of…….Black, Stone, Green and a cross between Mulberry and Fuchsia……………colors very typical of the Art Deco period…especially jewelry…I finish it off with a single strand of my 72 inch green pearls. I know this dress is certainly not for everyone, and that for me, is not a negative. It is for those of you who know and love the Art Deco style or for those of you who are simply attracted by the beauty of the pattern and the interesting fabric it was printed on……all in all….IMHO…..a winning combination………………………..enjoy……………..much Love…………………Louis

Fall has definitely arrived, and the air has a crisp cool feel to it. Even when it’s warmer….the wind is chilly. It’s time to consider what you will be needing for your TIGHTS WARDROBE. All of the tights, except for the sheer tights, have now been delivered to QVC and are posted on the …..LINEA BODY…special site…….All of the final quantities for the season are in the warehouse!……….The new LINEA LEGGING is almost completely SOLD OUT and they have only been posted OLO for 2 or 3 weeks. A very few of the larger sizes are left, but very few. If you haven’t tried them you are missing out on something very special….Almost 100% of the women who bought them and have worn them have fallen in love, I honestly think the two who weren’t pleased got the wrong size….Jac will wear nothing else, and trust me when I say she is the toughest critic…..If she didn’t like them…she WOULDN’T WEAR THEM!!….She goes to the gym every day for dance classes and wears tights every day….they not only have to look good…they must PREFORM and be COMFORTABLE……Many of the colors in the …..SOLID OPAQUE TIGHTS…..are now SOLD OUT or getting extremely limited…so don’t hesitate on those…. The “FANCY” tights, for the most part, are still avail., but I’m sure as the weather gets colder still….they will be disappearing too.. What I am offering can be found NO WHERE else, and are very special and very unique……..The “PEEK-A-BOO LACE” tights from the front look like a solid opaque tight, but from the back you see a panel of lace running up the leg…knitted in seamlessly……very provocative and definitely sexy in an alluring way…..The “ALL OVER LACE” tights are very European looking, and worn with a simple black dress….will make the outfit a SMASH! TONS of PIZAZZ!!!…..I have said it before, but it is worth repeating…..My manufacturer is the only one in this country, Canada and Europe who has these special machines to make these kind of patterns. Due to this…. he produces hosiery for many American and European Designer lines….ALL PRODUCED IN THE USA with fibers made in either the USA or Italy and France…..The “HERRINGBONE” and “PINSTRIPE” patterns transform a mundane outfit into something special…..they are also fabulous worn with pants, like my new PINSTRIPE trousers….Do not be afraid to MIX PATTERNS….I have shown the Baby Cheetah skirt with the HERRINGBONE tights and they are wonderful together…experiment and have fun!….The “ANIMAL INSTINCTS” tights are in a word….FABULOUS” and reek DESIGNER!…….If you have any interest in anything I am offering in the STONE COLOR, which will be one of the….KEY COLORS…for OCT. then you must have the ANIMAL INSTINCTS in Stone …..trust me on this…..they pull the entire look together and  make everything look custom……The BLACK and DARK GRAY in the ANIMAL INSTINCTS are super CHIC, and  are absolute MUST HAVES. The newest addition to the line is the …”LUREX” tights…….Silky smooth, and just give enough shimmer without looking over done. PERFECT for day or night. Jac just wore them on the Morning Show with the SWING JACKET in black and the WK BLACK pencil skirt. On her feet she wore her new Stuart Weitzman black suede shoe boot……one of the best around IMHO…………The sheers to come are made in a very special fiber and as far as I am concerned the best….bar none….sheer tights on the market….Warning….when you take them out of the package they will look like they are for Lilliputians…….put them on before you make a judgement call…..you will be amazed!!!! This is a SUPERIOR product. You might ask yourselves…..if everything Louis is saying is true, how can he sell them at these ridiculously low prices for this “SUPERIOR” quality? The answer is simple……MARKUP!…..Being in the designer business for many years I know exactly what goes into pricing a product, and a high percentage of it has nothing to do with the actual cost of the goods. My exact plain opaque tight, actually a lesser denier than the Linea Body tight, is selling on the market right now, with Designer labels for over $40……Some will say more expensive is better…..I’m here to tell you….NOT TRUE…..If you want to spend $50 on a pair of tights….go ahead, but smart informed women will be buying mine. It’s the same with many cosmetics and skin creams…..lipstick and nail polish are basically made  the same, so why does one cost $15 and another $50 and up……markup…..and the “Designer” label……………………I invite you to try my DESIGNER QUALITY TIGHTS, at anything but designer prices…………………….If you are starting to think about Christmas gifts, and why not……..be done with it and don’t stress out at the last minute………These tights will be perfect gifts for girlfriends, office workers, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, nieces etc etc, and they won’t break the bank……………..Ladies you have “heard” me say…..”you aren’t completely dressed until you have dressed the LEG!” These are not idle words…..At the FFANY awards, where everyone was looking at what shoes women were wearing….so many would have looked SO MUCH BETTER if they were wearing the right hose to compliment and accent the shoe and the total look…………Tights are like cosmetics for the legs. They can make flaws disappear, and can transform the way you dress…..many who never thought they could wear a shorter skirt….now can by simply wearing a pair of TIGHTS!……..Liberate yourselves with STYLE and COMFORT……………Dressing the leg can be lots of fun….if you allow yourself to have it………….enjoy……………………….much Love…………………….Louis

A change in the schedule…………I will now be on the Morning Show this Saturday, October 11 with Leah Williams. As of now I’m the 10th item in the show….so if you figure 3 to 4 minutes per item….I expect to be on between 8:35  and 9:00am…….but when I get there it could all change and I could be the second item in the show…….I will be selling the much anticipated ……..BOUCLE SWING JACKET!!!!!……………. The Monday morning FEW at 6:00am on the 13 has been cancelled…
