……………………….The BLACK COTTON SATEEN BLAZER, A254575…… is pure LINEA…….a CLASSIC……………….You know this jacket…….If you own the A201016, Leopard print Cotton Sateen jacket, which many many of you do……then you know the look and fit of this NEW blazer………….There are differences……the Leopard print was fully lines…sleeves too…………For this new version I have chosen to line the FRONT ONLY…..WHY?….because in this quality of cotton sateen, which is the same as the Leopard print, it is heavy and dense enough that it doesn’t require a full lining. I felt doing it this way gives the jacket a LONGER LIFE…..something you would consider wearing in the summer months. I lined the front because of the band pocket and pocket bag. The lining keeps the inside front of the jacket clean. Many expensive designer jackets are done this way. The reason is not to save money, but as an intrinsic part of the design and the practicality and comfort of not lining it…………The other feature that is different from the Leopard jacket is…..the new jacket has LONG SLEEVES….with a two button finished turn back cuff….so the sleeve length should not be a problem even if you have short arms. All of the buttons are DTM [dyed to match], and all of the body seams, lapel, collar and front plus the cuffs are top stitched for a very finished and “designer look”…….The fabric, again which many of you own, is a superb quality of 98% cotton and 2% spandex. It is a CLEAN, CRISP, SUMMERTIME JACKET….that you will wear year after year after year……It is machine wash, but I will always recommend dry cleaning a well tailored jacket to maintain that crispness and for a longer life. If you are inclined you can buy two white jackets…..one to launder and wear as an everyday jacket to be worn very casually….the other dry clean for a more dressed and crisp look………….The color above is………..BLACK……….is there anything really better than……BLACK & WHITE! In all of the photos above I have chosen to feature the new BLACK BODYSUIT, A254576….but any black tank will work…..I particularly like my ENR WK tank in black, A253408, because it has such body to it……For bottoms I have the white Boho, a70208, which unfortunately is sold out, but in June you will be able to get my long asymmetrically hemmed white gauze skirt, A255139, which will give you the same look….Also above is my BLACK & WHITE PRINTED CROP PANT, A253573, the WHITE COTTON SATEEN PANT, A254640, which is also in the BLACK FOR A SUITED LOOK, and the new light weight JERSEY SKIRT, A254438, which is called black, but actually, due to the very fine stripes, becomes a silver gray…………….However you chose to wear it….I am sure it will become a mainstay in your summer wardrobes……………………..
