The COTTON SATEEN PANT, A254640, comes in all of the colors of the jackets already mentioned………………..BLACK………WHITE [unlined]…………DARK TAN…..to match…..to mix…..to wear as a great  summer separate pant. Three very practical useful colors……With all of your WK sweaters and so many things you have collected over the years, these pants will bring a new freshness to your wardrobe. Above. I have the BLACK PANTS with the AQUA FEATHER JERSEY separates…the big shirt and tank…..the WK V-NECK in BLACK with the WK BLACK CLASSIC cardigan …..a must have sweater set…is with the WHITE and DARK TAN……The pant has a zip front with a button…..an elastic waist band, and I believe a 26 inch inseam, but I’m not 100% positive about that…..check the click here measurements when the pant is posted….it is definitely not a full length pant…well maybe for my petites it is…..The leg opening is 6 inches so it is quite tapered……………….It is very important for my super tall Linea Ladies to see where this pant will hit you on your leg. I say this because the leg opening is 6 inches and if the pant hits you at your calf….it may be tight….If it is a tailor can open the bottom and create a small slit….if you are so inclined…..I thought I should be upfront so you are not disappointed later……for most of you there will be no problem………………………………………………………………..enjoy……………………….much Love………………………………………..Louis

The LAPIS BLUE IKAT PRINT SKIRT, A254309, is a beautifully executed….PLACEMENT PRINT…………What is a PLACEMENT PRINT?……The screens of the print are designed to fit the pattern of the garment…so each garment will have the print in the same “placement”…as opposed to an all over random print…….In the case of the IKAT print above, the center panel will always be in the center of the skirt. Printing in this method is much more laborious and time consuming….needless to say….a more expensive way to print, cut and sew a garment…………The LAPIS BLUE combination above consists of a variety of BLUES with BLACK & WHITE. The fabric is my FAUX DE CHINE which many of you own and love because of it’s lightness, coolness and clarity of color…..think of the previous Ikat print skirt, A233189…..The skirt is lined in a light weight georgette. There is a full elastic waist, but we have also added a side zipper and button just to control and remove any unnecessary fullness…….. The skirt and lining have  slits on both sides for easy walking……It is approx. 32 inches long.  The design of the skirt was created by me and executed by my print staff . The all over pattern has three distinct designs…..the front panel, the zig zag side panels, which were designed to minimize…..and the border…..If you have to shorten the skirt….you can remove part or all of the border and still keep the integrity of the print…..Each design was inspired by authentic Ikat woven patterns. There is no other print IN THE WORLD exactly like this one…..it is very EXCLUSIVE to my Linea Ladies……and due to the number ordered, I am sure you will be the one…and only one to have it in your area………Coordinating tops with this skirt will be very easy. Think of all the black WK sweaters you already own!….plus the LAPIS BLUE WHISPER KNITS….such as the open cardigan KIMONO, A233950 paired with the ENR TANK, A253408, shown  in the photos above……You may already own the draped front cardigan and tank in Lapis from last fall…….The new WHITE WK works also, however with this print, if you have a light complexion…. I prefer the contrast of the black or Lapis….but that’s just my preference…..The new PEASANT BLOUSE, A254442, that I just showed on PM Style in the LAPIS and BLACK, were designed to go with this skirt as the perfect compliment……There are many many Linea garments you may have already….such as the black tank with the ribbed bottom and the matching shrug…..for that matter ALL of the LINEA shrugs work, and  may still be avail in the open knit or the Feather Jersey…..The BLACK open knit long sleeve tunic, A235308, or the BLACK draped front cardigan in the same gauzy open knit, A233859, [similar to Eileen Fisher] will both look great with Lapis tanks beneath them…. The new sleeveless shirt in BLACK coming on the May 16th show….the A215181, cotton knit T shirt in black with the Gunmetal metallic trim, A252345……the BLUE BIG SHIRT, just presented this spring, makes for a terrific jacket worn open with the sleeves rolled up….it’s the same fabric as the skirt….. A235322, the black faux linen kimono jacket…..the A353378, V-neck knit top with the long mesh sleeves in all three colors……all coordinate with the Lapis skirt……For the more adventurous…..mix your EMBROIDERED BLUE & WHITE TOP, A253384….it’s right off the runway….  To really spike it up for a special occasion…the LAPIS BLUE SEQUIN TOP from this past fall is a WOW with this skirt….I can go on and on and on……..Ladies….you own so much that will work with this skirt…..it’s all in your closets!………….Accessorizing is made easy with my BLACK BEAD NECKLACE, J270117 and my BLACK STRETCH CUFF, J270118……my GUNMETAL or SILVER BOLD HOOP and WIRE CUFF will look pretty fabulous too!……..A black sandal….maybe in patent leather or black suede……black sunglasses and  tote and you are off………scroll down…………………….enjoy…………much Love……………Louis

The LAPIS BLUE IKAT PRINT TOP, A254304, is made in the same PLACEMENT PRINT and fabric as the IKAT SKIRT. This top has a V-NECK, 3/4 sleeves, and side slits. This is a STRAIGHT CUT garment….some would say boxy….I would say it has a caftan ethnic cut…..If you liked the fit of the embroidered top, A253384, which the majority of you did then….you will like this……If the emb. top did not work for you then I would not recommend this silhouette. This is an easy relaxed top and should be worn with a relaxed attitude……Again, with each garment for each size…..the design will always be in the same place……Wear it loose over my BLACK CAPRI LEGGING, A255122, coming in June, or the longer version avail now. I will also have my CROP PEBBLE CREPE PANT coming in June for a relaxed leg fit alternative. The BLUE & WHITE LINEN PANT, A253578 is another wonderful texture to mix with the Lapis top. The BLACK BOHO, A70208 or a white pencil skirt are both great options as bottoms which will give you two totally different looks………Wearing the LAPIS SEQUIN SKIRT,  for more EXOTIC dressier occasions, will definitely give you the edge……and what a fun and easy way to look!….add my BLACK JET NECKLACES and EARRING and VOILA………..instant CHIC!………………..Wear the top BELTED or LOOSE…..Wear the top during the day with Capris or my BLACK SHORTS, coming on May 16th….or in the evening when you want to impress……….IKAT prints are CLASSIC, ICONIC and date back centuries….truly timeless……………..scroll down………….enjoy…………………much Love………………..Louis

The second color combination for the IKAT TOP & SKIRT is………GERANIUM PINK…………………Combined with the Pink there is  GRAY, BLACK and WHITE……DO NOT BE AFRAID to wear the top and skirt together as a two piece dress! If you wear printed maxi dresses you can wear this. ………………Besides the obvious BLACK separates……….WHITE and all the GERANIUM PINK WHISPER KNITS coordinate beautifully with these pieces. The peasant blouse, A254442, in the BLACK and GERANIUM, again were meant to be worn with this skirt. I will be showing the skirt with the Geranium SHORT SLEEVE WK CARDIGAN and it looks fabulous together. Pair the BLACK sleeveless cotton shirt with the Geranium WK cardigan and you have another way to go. All of the pieces I outlined for the Lapis top and skirt work with the geranium top and skirt including the BLACK/WHITE LINEN PANT, A253578……Instead of the Lapis sequin skirt…wear the G.
