The color……..TWIG………is one of my main colors for the Spring/Summer season. You have already seen the Twig WK shrug and tank….the Twig rayon jersey tank and skirt…..the Twig cotton knit span legging, all of which work with the TWIG LINEN/RAYON Jacket, A253575, and Pant, A253578. Above, I have one of my favorite combinations TWIG and BUTTER. The Butter WK short sleeve V-neck A233944 will be coming in June. In the mean time there are plenty of things you can wear with these pieces…..the poly/span jersey floral top in Twig and Gray works perfectly as does the TAUPE BOHO, A 70208, shown above. I also love the look of the SEED BEAD NECKLACE, J278123 in the natural combination of gold and tortoise. CHILI PEPPER CHILI PEPPER CHILI PEPPER….over the last three years it has become one of my most popular colors………..and everything you may have purchased in this color works with these pieces…..I’m thinking of the PAISLEY PRINT SKIRT and SCARF TOP…………the GEORGETTE CRINKLE SAFARI SHIRT, the SELF TIE SHIRT JACKET, and the BOHO SKIRT etc etc……….Now there are a range of WHISPER knit sweaters that will work back to this Chili Pepper jacket and pant…………..The Chili Pepper and White short sleeve cardigans, A253409 mixed and matched with the Chili Pepper and White ENR tanks, A253408, layered under the jacket give the sharp contrast that high lights the jacket. The Chili pepper WK Kimono and C.P. or WHITE ENR tank is another alternative to wear with the pant. The THREE BUTTON BLAZER in the CREPE fabric, A221808, has returned and is available to be ordered……………..The new color is……………..PEWTER…………The Pewter jacket is adorned with GUNMETAL SIGNATURE BUTTONS. Many of you have this jacket in the colors that were offered in the past, and the reviews are terrific. This is now the third or fourth year, [can’t remember they are flying by], I will be offering this jacket to you. All of the details are listed on the Linea site. This is a fully lined, TAILORED jacket with three patch pockets. Due to the crepe fabric it is a SOFT jacket…it does not have a crisp or rigid hand. It looks like a jacket “Made in Italy”, especially in this pewter color. I have it shown above with the matching trouser pant, A253576, which has an inseam of approx. 32 1/2 inches with a 1 1/4 inch usable hem [with a hem tape attached], and a 10 inch bottom opening…..so they are very languid soft trousers. They have a front zip….no pockets….of course elastic in the waist band. The tank is the reorder of the FLECKED TANK, A22478, in the new color……SILVER GREY……………PERFECT with this suit…….The necklace is the J287999 in the SILVER TONE….It has clear faceted stones with silver metal beads and silver pearls…….again….perfect with this suit…..fragile, light, elegant, sophisticated…..and still makes a strong statement……it is still avail, but there are very few left….the pink version sold out long ago and frankly I’m surprised there are any of this color left….I’m sure not for long………….Remember……these are SPORTSWEAR pieces, and though you can wear this Pewter as a suit, you should also separate the pieces and use with other things you own. The pant is easy to put with other things you have. The jacket needs a little imagination. The most obvious would be a white shirt to WK sweater and a black bottom…..That is a fabulous timeless look and always CHIC. Pair it with Ivory crepe trousers, which are new and will be avail on the April show, and any color WK sweater……from ivory, butter, perfectly pink. lavender, mint aqua….to stronger colors like RED…..You must make your clothes WORK for you no matter what your lifestyle is…a white T-shirt, a pair of jeans and flats would work for anyone………………………..scroll down………………..enjoy…………………..much Love…………………………….Louis

The AQUA CREPE BLAZER, A221808, is making a return………..and how beautiful and cool it does look…………….The buttons are GOLD………I have paired the Aqua blazer with the new LATTE SHORT SLEEVE WK CARDIGAN, A253409, the new IVORY CREPE PANT, A253578, and the IVORY TANK, A237404……I will be showing the J288007, PEACOCK necklace with it. The idea came to me after the pictures were taken…..A single strand is the perfect finishing touch……..This is pure AMERICAN SPORTSWEAR…..MIX & MATCH………………….Now…..a word to the wise…..I have purposely shown the Aqua jacket with the new IVORY crepe pant because…………..my Aqua jacket sample is from last year when it was new. The NEW AQUA PANT that arrived is not a perfect match so I chose not to put them together. That is what typically happens when you dye a fabric, supposedly in the same color, from one year to the next. If the chemical formula is slightly different, if the humidity is different etc etc….the colors will come out slightly different…..However, if you are new to this jacket or want to pick up a new color,  and you buy the jacket and pant this season….they will more than likely match…..there are always dye lots to deal with but they should be within the tolerance allowed…………….That’s why I always say….when it matches….it’s a miracle…..This is something I have had to deal with my entire career….and from the best fabric mills in the world……………..The moral of this tale is….always have a BACK UP PLAN……..My back up plan is to have addition colors like the ivory, sand and pewter, which will all look fabulous with the AQUA jacket……and you all have BLACK. My WHITE JEANS and the WHITE ENR TANK, A253408, now being offered will look FABULOUS!…………..
