THREE MUST HAVE BASICS in the new OPEN V-NECK SWEATER, A251583, are……………………[LINEA] NAVY………………IVORY…………………….BLACK…………….These are season-less, timeless CLASSIC sweaters. How could you go wrong?…….A heads up…..also coming this Spring [April] will be the WK pencil skirt in your basic colors, Black, Navy, COFFEE BEAN and LATTE. It will be a new length for the season….23″-24″. I give two measurements depending where you place the elastic band. If you place it waist down….24″….waist up….23″. I suppose if you wanted you could even wear it lower or a little higher without a problem…………I have always loved designing knit wear, sweaters in particular….especially when I was able to go to ITALY five times a year to work with the factories directly! These fully fashioned sweaters are exactly how I would have made them in Italy…..the only difference is they would have been four times the price………………………………..enjoy………………………..much Love………………………………..LUIGINO….as they call me in Italy.

The MOCK NECK SWEATER, A251584 is avail right now in LINEA NAVY and SUNSHINE YELLOW……………….What makes this mock neck better than all others?….First it’s in the WHISPER KNIT, but it’s  the RIB DETAILS that really sets it apart……From the top….the RIB COLLAR is soft and not at all tight. It GENTLY hugs the neck without ever feeling restricting in any way……the perfect mock neck……The RIBBED SLEEVES are elbow length, and again, hug the arm gently so there is no baggy look what so ever. It is a much younger look and works for ALL arm sizes. If you have large upper arms the length of the sleeve and the rib will give you a much more youthful appearance. There is no reason why a short sleeve should ever look matronly….not if it’s fit correctly, and the ribs take care of that……..The ribbed bottom band or “THE WAIST WHITTLING BAND” as it has been dubbed does the trick.. Again, the ribs gently glide over the body creating a smooth line……The LITTLE bit of extra thickness, due to the ribbing, is a great camouflage. If you like turtleneck sweaters, but the necks are too high, you may want to try a MOCK. If you love turtlenecks and mocks….then this is a MUST HAVE…..it’s the PERFECT MOCK NECK SWEATER……a true COLLECTABLE…………………..I know the questions are spinning in your heads….what is THAT VEST! …………………………RED…………is the final color out of the four colors being offered in the ELBOW SLEEVE MOCK NECK WK SWEATER, A251584, and what a GORGEOUS RED IT IS! If you picked up the collarless PONTE JACKET and or the RED PONTE PANT….you must have this RED MOCK NECK…..you will never get such a perfect match again…..even if we bring this red back next year….I can’t guarantee it will be exactly exactly the same. If you own the BOYFRIEND CARDIGAN in the RED or IVORY, these MOCKS are a must……………..I truly do not think I can improve on the design or fit of this sweater and in the WHISPER KNIT……everything is just right………………………………………………….enjoy…………………………………….much Love………………………….Louis

The….TWIG TANK, A232345….&….SHRUG, A232520……reorder is in and avail. for purchasing……………I know many of you NATURALISTS have been wondering and guessing exactly what a “twig” looks like……guess no more. For me it is the perfect NEUTRAL color, and if you love your neutral colors….this is a MUST HAVE. I would call it a WARM MED. TAUPE……Both of these items have been reordered, and by now I think you understand what it takes for a garment to get passed as a reorder……..the stars have to be all lined up just so to meet reorder requirements by the REORDER PTB at QVC. It is a separate group, not the buyers, who analyze each piece and make that decision…………….These two pieces passed with FLYING COLORS!…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I have done many tanks over the last 14 years that I have been with QVC, and many many more during my career. I’m sure many of you already own quite a few…….So what makes this one different?………….First, it’s the longer length that so many of you have gravitated to. Since it is now not only acceptable, but fashionable to wear layering pieces longer than jackets etc. etc……this tank has added another dimension and “look” to your wardrobes. Even my petite ladies can, and love , this longer length. It is perfect with dress pants, leggings, crops, Capri and even shorts, which will be coming this summer. Pairing it with a pencil skirt or long skirt gives you another way to look, and depending on the fabric of the skirts [from denim to georgette], and the accessories you choose……………this tank can be worn for any occasion………The second special thing about this tank is the WAIST WHITTLING RIBS which are very slenderizing. Does this sound like a contradiction?? Ribs and slenderizing……….well it works and this is why. In the WK the ribs are not CHUNKY or tight and restricting….they glide and stretch over the body giving the illusion  of shape due to the vertical lines they create. Yes,they will hold you in slightly, but certainly not like a girdle….more like a Spanx……which smooth out lumps and bumps….however, if you are new to this tank….don’t expect miracles…LOL………….. The tank has 22 reviews and 22 out of 22 recommend buying this tank………I would say that’s a pretty good recommendation!…………………………………..

…………..The shrug is a wonderful ACCESSORY piece and was meant to serve one purpose………….TO COVER THE ARMS…..There are many garments that are WRONGLY called shrugs…..The one I am offering to you is a MODIFIED shrug. If you are interested to know what a REAL SHRUG looks like I would invite you to look at A234415, my FEATHER JERSEY SHRUG. Some may argue that is not a shrug as they know it. As a designer who has been in the business for more years than I wish to count…… has studied design, and who has combed through the costume departments of museums all over the word……….there is no discussion about what a true shrug is. I am just as guilty as the next at calling garments shrugs that really are not….they may be cropped sweaters with sleeves, or cut away sweaters as the one above with sleeves, but a TRUE SHRUG was designed to……… COVERS THE ARMS ONLY. Geoffery Beene, one of America’s greatest designers, created some of the most incredible SHRUGS I have ever seen…..and they WERE true shrugs……….OK, the shrug lesson is over…LOL What I am bringing back to you is my modified shrug that serves many purposes. Of course it is perfect worn with the matching tank, but on it’s own it can be worn over many sleeveless or cap sleeve tops and dresses. It is easy to pack away in your tote and after a day in the warm sun, you can pull it out when an evening chill comes in….or it becomes essential when entering an air conditioned building. It can certainly be worn for the office or dressier occasions as well as with a pair of jeans. They are season-less and great for travel, and they take absolutely no room in your luggage………….Ladies, shrugs are not meant or designer to COVER the bust. Obviously, if you are self conscious about this, a shrug may not be for you, but I honestly don’t think when you are wearing a MATCHING tank and shrug….it emphasizes your size…….if you haven’t tried THIS one……maybe it’s time………………………………..

…………..I have chosen to accessorize the outfit above with my DRIFTWOOD PEARLS, J264035. I will also be showing the matching PEARL STUD EARRINGS, J287991, which comes in a THREE PACK called “SOPHISTICATED”…..I didn’t name them….LOL………….I will also be showing this outfit with my DRIFTWOOD, IVORY and MOCHA MIST PEARL BRACELETS, J297998, also being sold as a three pack, again called “SOPHISTICATED”…..The Ivory is in a separate pack…….Included in the pack  with the Driftwood and Mocha Mist is….. BLUE MIST………which is a gray color with a tint of BLUE…… BLUE MIST is  not gray, and when you put them next to gray that becomes very obvious…….though they do look marvelous with gray………..I happen to love all three colors worn together, if you can wear three, ….if not any combination of the two also looks fabulous………………..As a bottom I have a VINTAGE ANNE KLEIN NATURAL LINEN pant………….for all of you NATURALISTS………….the colors are perfect together.
