INTRODUCING……….”LINEA BODY”
…………………..I am introducing to you a new division of Linea……………LINEA BODY…………I am a conceptual designer….meaning when I design it’s not just about the garment…….I design the ” TOTAL LOOK”….. I have always designed what a woman could look like from head to toe. Some designers can only design, or only care about designing garments, and depend on stylists to put it together and give the collection the excitement it needs for the runway. I am and I have always been my own stylist. I would never think of giving my collection over to some one else to put their stamp on it and to give it their point of view……it’s a sacrilege to me…..I have always designed the “complete look”, and was fortunate enough to work for a company where I was able to design every product and accessory I wanted to show on the runway, and to offer to my clients…..When I design and sketch for QVC, and style the shows, it isn’t any different. Branching out to achieve this goal started with the jewelry, and now that the jewelry has become established and is growing as a business……………..I felt it was time to branch out once again……..I discussed this with my buyers and the PTB and viola…………………..LINEA BODY!
……………..Linea Body is about dressing the LEGS. When putting an outfit together it doesn’t stop at the hem of a skirt or dress….for that matter it doesn’t stop at the hem of a pant. It is very important for those who like to dress, and wish to dress well to think from head to toe. Why shouldn’t you be as creative with what you put on your legs as what you put on your bodies….So many times women think of the outfit and the shoes they will wear, and forget about what is happening in between. A beautiful tight can add just that extra accent to give the outfit more pizazz! Speaking from a man’s point of view….don’t ever underestimate a well dressed leg! ………
THE PRODUCT is 100% MADE IN AMERICA. The high quality yarns that are being used for this range of leg wear are also MADE IN AMERICA with some exceptions. The exceptions are VERY SPECIAL NOVELTY YARNS that are being imported from ITALY and FRANCE. The company that is manufacturing my LINEA BODY LINE is very special and VERY unique. They are the ONLY company in AMERICA, CANADA and EUROPE who has certain machines to made some of the more unique products I will be offering. The photos above are the complete collection of styles for 2015, but not all styles will be offered at one time. They will be spaced out during the season, and more colors will be added. For August QVC will be offering the OPAQUE and HEATHER TIGHTS and a tight I call ‘ANIMAL INSTINCTS”. A FULL RANGE of SIZES , seven in all, will be offered!!…….It all starts with the basic SOLID OPAQUE TIGHTS. They are a 70% DENIER MICRO FIBER YARN produced in the United States…..I repeat….70% DENIER…..The majority of tights in stores today are 50% denier. I will be offering ……………BLACK……………..WALNUT………NAVY……….AUBERGINE…….. HEATHER CHARCOAL GRAY…..all Linea standard colors, and approved by me. The top five photos left to right, tell the story. I realize the photos are dark, but so are the colors…If you own my navy, and walnut you know just how deep and rich they are….We will be offering a “TWO PACK” in black only….all fashion colors with be sold as single pairs…….The next three photos are my tights called…..”ANIMAL INSTINCTS”…..They are a knitted pattern that have the look of a very subtle abstract animal design. There are two yarns used to achieve this design a matte yarn made in the USA and a shiny yarn made in ITALY….the effect is stupendous! Jac fell in love with these the moment she tried them on. It is not a pattern that jumps at you….It is subtle, but extremely sophisticated and extremely HIGH END looking………….pure DESIGNER……perfect to wear with your LBD or my black and white tweed suit from last fall…..as I said….a touch of PIZAZZ! …These are something SPECIAL!. They will be avail in the all important……BLACK……..SOLID GRAY……and a beautiful STONE color that really shows off the pattern……These will all work with my WHISPER KNIT PENCIL SKIRTS, and yes, STONE will be a new color!
There are some very special items that will follow….one of the most important being ………….THE SEAMLESS LEGGING!!!!!!!! NO SEAMS ANYWHERE!!!!! [look at the five photos across the bottom]. The 240 DENIER MICROFIBER yarn is produced in America. Again…..these are made with machines that only this manufacturer owns. They are the only company in the USA, Canada and Europe that has the equipment to knit these seamless leggings. They have a soft terry lining instead of the brushed lined tights from overseas….so they are more comfortable and do not shed their lining. These are good for everyday wear with jackets, sweaters and tunics, for yoga, as a liner, or a “LEISURELY” evening at home. Moisture management helps to maintain body temperature, keeps you dryer, and puts your comfort first. All I can say is everyone who has been allowed to see them and has tried them on has gone wild for them…..a REAL LEGGING……There are many other beautiful and unique novelty tights that will be offered through out the season and for the Holidays….such as………… a PINSTRIPE…..a HERRINGBONE………and an all over incredibly feminine FLORAL LACE pattern that only these special machines can manufacture….I will also have a PEEK-A-BOO surprise LACE tight….From the front it looks like a solid tight…..but UP THE BACK is a “KNITTED INTO THE TIGHT” LACE PATTERN……….without a d0ubt…..the sexiest pair of legs I have seen! and I’ve seen many legs in the 40 years I have been designing….and well before that!!……There will also be a pair of LUREX TIGHTS…the yarn is very very soft and the hose are very subtle…..not a hint of scratchiness at all…a marvelous and very special yarn….They will be offered in GOLD/BLACK and SILVER/BLACK…again, SUBTLE enough to wear during the day with a black skirt or dress and shoe booties….they are not flashy!……….Then I will be offering the PERFECT, NUDE, BLACK and GRAY SHEER tights…..the yarn is from FRANCE! It is not only a beautiful sheer yarn, but it is a DURABLE yarn…..something you never hear said about a sheer stocking. I consider sheer hose to be makeup for the leg. If you have PERFECT legs with PERFECT skin, no spider veins or blemishes… then there is no need for a nude sheer hose, but I can tell you when I did runway shows with ALL OF THE SUPER MODELS….they all preferred to wear sheer hose….it simply made their legs LOOK BETTER!!!
This is a SUPERIOR and SUPERB product. My manufacturer makes tights for some of the biggest name designers and private label high end department stores. The only difference in the basic product between mine and theirs… is the label and the PRICE. I am even using a higher DENIER [which means a better quality], than many of the designer brands and private labels out there. I though you should know this when you are considering your next purchase of tights. A lower price doesn’t always mean a lower quality…..in this case…..it just means a lower mark up…..When I decide to start a new venture I give it my all..I believe I have found the perfect manufacturer to bring to fruition my vision of what I want my LINEA BODY line to be……………I sincerely hope you give this new product……….that I developed for YOU…a try!………………………………………………….
