…………….This IS the PERFECT WHITE SHIRT……..Almost, above all else….you all want a WHITE SHIRT that is easy care, easy to wash and….looks PERFECT after every wash without any fuss! You have found it in this shirt……It’s so good you may want to own two!………I would……..Above, I have the shirt worn open, and I have chosen as an alternative to the matching tank, to  pair the SAFARI SHIRT, A214117, with a WHITE WK TANK…..in this case the ENR, A253408….but it is almost sold out….so other alternatives in  WHITE WK are, A233942 the V-neck tank or A255153. the TWOFER which consists of the WHITE TANK and the WHITE V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE “T”…. a great buy and two ESSENTIAL pieces. The white V-neck “T” is worth the price alone…………….Above,I also have the White Pebble Crepe crop pant, A255183, shown with the shirt..it’s lined…but it’s very limited…..Silver Palm Fronds….The SHORT NECKLACE, J290362, the LONG NECKLACE, J290364, and the EARRING, J290363…..make a wonderfully impressive statement……and look absolutely nothing like anything else…..now to me….that’s a STATEMENT necklace…..STATEMENT JEWELRY………………..enjoy……………….much Love……………………Louis

………………………..I think one of the most important things about this shirt in dark colors is……they never fade or look washed out after several washings. They always look as new as the first time you wore them…..For me, that’s very important. I have a closet full of LACOSTE shirts, and probably a dozen in black and white…Why? because after a few washings they never look the same……The black gets that dark gray look and the white is  never as crisp and gleaming as the first time you put it on…Every time we go away on vacation I always pick some new LACOSTES…..It can become quite expensive, but that’s my summer uniform…..That will never happen with this NAVY SHIRT. That in its’ self is why these shirts are worth owning. Personally I love dark shirts and white pants in the summer. Can you really beat NAVY and WHITE……OK…maybe BLACK and WHITE….but it’s a toss up. You will notice that on the navy shirt I have had the Abalone buttons dyed t o  match and have the smooth side up, so there is no contrast with the button at all.  Throw on the SILVER FISH NECKLACE, J288023 with the BOLD SILVER HOOP, J288055….a silver sandal and you will be ready before your husband gets his shoes laced!………………….Now, if  only the snow would  go away!!!!!!……………………….

……………..For all of you BLACK LOVERS…..or BLACK & WHITE LOVERS……this SAFARI SHIRT in black is a  must have………for all the same reasons I stated for the NAVY shirt. Please notice the photo at the lower left. You know the one I mean…..the overexposed picture where the BLACK shirt looks a dingy grey………That will NEVER happen to this shirt wash after wash after wash…..For my Floridians, Southern Californians, and my South Westerners…..this is a shirt you will wear year round. The Abalone buttons, sewn on the “rough shell side” up, give the black shirt a nice contrast….a casual  air…..great with a pair of natural hemp linen trousers. However, you can dress it up as  much as you want….here with the black BOHO skirt, A70208 and my BLACK JET JEWELRY….the CLUSTER NECKLACE, J317112, the DROP EARRING, J291538 [BTW this is getting very limited and it’s the only simple jet earring left….the clear has sold out]. To add one more layer, which actually gives an airy effect, I have layered the J291535, SPACED JET BEAD necklace……Not shown is the BLACK JET, the GLASS FACETED BEAD STRETCH BRACELET, J291535…..which also comes in the CLEAR GLASS………………………..enjoy………………….much Love…………………………Louis

***************The PEBBLE CREPE TOP, A213621, is back and avail. to order…………..I think this may be one of my most popular tops. It seems to work for women of all shapes, sizes and heights….at least the great majority of women. I think this may be the fourth or fifth  reorder….that means four or five years running and still going strong. All of the fit details and info you may need are posted on the QVC LINEA site. For those new to Linea this may look like a simple little nothing top, but it is far from that. When you get it in your hands you will see all of the labor and detailing that went into this DECEIVINGLY simple garment. The neckline, sleeve hem and bottom hem are not just hemmed, but finished with SEPARATE TOP STITCHED BANDS…These bands help the garment to keep its’ shape…..There are Patch pockets with BOUND SELF FABRIC button holes set into the patch on a slight angle for easy access. These patches,  which add another layer of fabric, also help the garment to maintain its’ shape… There are also small side slits…more for look than for anything practical…as the top has a very easy comfortable fit…..The fabric is a 70%rayon/30% polyester blend. This is a woven fabric without any lycra, but there is plenty of natural stretch to the fabric due to its’ pebble crepe construction. This top has been so popular that I have repeated it in a Ponte knit version, which has also been very popular and also has reordered. It too is avail right now and can be worn now….maybe layered with a WK turtleneck for those of you who can’t yet escape this brutally cold weather!…………One of the new colors added this season is…….WHITE………I was hesitant about doing this top in white because of the possibility that it might be too see through. Then I thought….well the safari shirt in the crinkle georgette has been so popular, and is see through in every color……The white certainly wouldn’t be as see through as the crinkle georgette.. Personally, I know there are those of  you who will  think layering something under it is unnecessary, and the flip side,  there are those of you who will want to layer a little shell of some kind. For TV purposes I will be layering this WHITE top with the WHITE tank that comes with the WHITE SAFARI shirt, A214117…..it is just enough and so light you don’t feel anything……I’m glad I convinced myself to do this top in the bright clear crisp summer WHITE……………..It can’t possibly get more ethereal than this white top worn with the WHITE BOHO SKIRT…..and to add to that icy cool look….the CLEAR CLUSTER BEAD NECKLACE, J317112, the 72″ long CLEAR FACETED BEAD NECKLACE, J284043, the CLEAR FACETED GLASS BEAD STATION NECKLACE, J291535, the CLEAR FACETED DROP BEAD EARRING, J291536….and for good measure…two of the CLEAR GLASS FACETED BEAD BRACELETS, J291536…….It really, IMHO, can’t be more perfect than this…..a delicate silver sandal…..and you are runway ready….perfect for any special occasion or wonderful vacation trip…..you know me….I’ve always got thoughts of faraway warm destinations!……….Strip it down….if you must….to the top and a pair of jeans,  Carpi, cropped or slim pants…..or wide leg pants for a more languid look , and you are ready for everyday wear……………This is without a doubt….a terrific spring/summer top…………………………………………………………………….enjoy………………….much Love…………………………….Louis

********************The second new color being offered this season is……………………..SMOKE………………..Any kind or shade of gray isn’t necessarily considered to be a “spring/summer” color, but I think it is….and it’s CHIC as anything when worn with WHITE…..If you are fortunate to own my GREY FACETED GLASS BEADS [which were the only color not to be reordered….to bad because they happen to be my personal favorite], they look sensational with the gray……Other alternatives….just as sensational…..are the entire PALM FROND GROUP in the SILVER or the new GUNMETAL.  All of the CLEAR FACETED GLASS beads, the silver or GM double strand metal beads in the SILVER  or GM, the SILVER FISH, and the GM FISH which has finally arrived, will all look great……so, so many options…. as well as some of my retired favorites such as the WAVE GROUP!………….So you see Smoke isn’t as limited as you first might have thought. If you already own smoke bottoms in the BOHO, still avail, or the crepe pants, or the FJ bottoms….you are way ahead of the game……These pieces never lose their value, and only become more important as I add new pieces to go  with them…………….I know you will enjoy this very much….and for my SILVER and WHITE haired beauties…..this is a must have color!…………………………………………………………..enjoy………………………….much Love……………………………………………..Louis
