………The DENIM JACKET, A232350, is  back and ready for ordering. Since QVC has already posted the jacket, without color pictures, I thought there was no sense holding back my pics……even though this jacket isn’t going to be on air for another month???on the Leah Williams show, Sat. March 21th…..that is if there are any still left!?…..For those of you who are new to this jacket all of the necessary measurements are posted on the QVC Linea site, but there are some notable facts you should know…….The fabric…….this is a “SUMMER WEIGHT” denim. Let me explain….there are in existence more denim qualities of fabric then you have hair on your head! They come in a huge variety of weights, weaves and finishes….so for those of you who question whether this is a denim fabric or not….IT IS. It may not be your typical Levi old heavy weight denim….none the less  it is denim. Why did I choose this denim out of all the existing denims?…..because I wanted a season-less denim that you would be comfortable wearing into the summer….and through the summer…fall, winter and spring. You still need something to cover your bare arms in air conditioned settings. Right now….where it is brutally cold….you can still layer this jacket with turtlenecks, and still feel comfortable putting a coat over it…….For this very reason of the extreme variety of weather…I chose this quality denim. The jacket is unlined for maximum comfort in the hot weather, and for maximum stretch……….This jacket has a fitted shape, but it is not tight to the body. You can see from the photos above that even when the jacket is worn open it still has a lovely shape. The shape is due to the “corset” seaming. This placement of seams gives you the best “hour glass” shape……..There are NO POCKETS in this jacket…..why?…..because they would have altered the shape of the jacket…..If you must have pockets I would suggest getting pants or a skirt with them…LOL……..The jacket is trimmed with my signature “logo” metal buttons and grommets……………..The photos above feature the new….BLEACHED BLUE DENIM………a soft sky blue color…..Needless to say the new SIGNATURE LOGO necklaces and earrings look terrific with the buttons on the jacket without looking too matchy….since they are all slightly different………I have also layered the jacket with the WHITE DENIM VEST, A252356, which has also been reordered in the WHITE, and the BLEACHED BLUE DENIM….The skirt is my vintage Linea Indigo denim skirt, but my NAVY WK or PONTE skirt will look great too……The jacket is also avail in the INDIGO, SUNBURST YELLOW and AQUA. Quite frankly, with the popularity of the Aqua WK sweaters, which match this denim Aqua perfectly, I’m surprised they haven’t all be snatched up…….Spring is just 30 days away! I know many of you are suffering from the cold weather, and there are also many of you in the southwest and Cal. who  have been having record breaking heat……I guess these extremes in weather are becoming the norm. No matter what the weather….I think this casual denim jacket, with a lot of pizzaz, will work for anyone’s  lifestyle………………………………enjoy………..much Love…………………….Louis

……….When this jacket was first introduced……WHITE was the first color to sell out……so  the WHITE has been reordered. This is a fabulous white jacket….BUT….BEWARE….YES….it is slightly SEE THOUGHT!!!!!LOL….Of course it’s going to be slightly see through…..it’s unlined! Would you prefer it heavy as lead with a satin lining or light as a feather and unlined…..obviously you know what my choice is. I purposely layered this WHITE denim jacket with a sneak peek striped “sailor sweater” and a RED elbow sleeve mock neck, because I think, IMHO, it is a very old fashioned way to think that a white jacket, especially a casual one can’t have some see through…..that’s the hazards of white. If this really bothers you, then I would not suggest the white for you, but the great majority of women could care less….and went for the white….and have enjoyed it all spring and summer and fall!..wearing it over everything from shorts and skorts to maxi dresses….BTW…the RED ELBOW SLEEVE MOCK NECK WK SWEATER, A251584 is still avail in the RED, SUNSHINE YELLOW, NAVY and WHITE! These are all colors that are going to be very important for the Linea collection this SPRING!I would recommend, if you are between sizes or like your clothes to fit easy, go to your next larger size….If you haven’t gotten yours I would not wait too long….I am going to be showing them a lot!……………………………………..enjoy…..much Love………………..Louis

‘The PERFECTLY PINK has been added to the roster of colors being offered in the jean jacket…….The buttons are in the gold, and combined with the gold, and or gold/silver signature jewelry….is a wonderful look. It still looks casual, but finished, and not over accessorized. I have it paired with the PP Boho which is not avail. and PP tank, also not avail……but I will work on getting more PP. pieces for next spring…..that’s the best I can do………..In the mean time….ivory, white, black  and navy are always good options. I would also love this with….horror of all horrors……pastels….like mint, lavender, pale sky blue [like the wing collar shirt, Pale Pink avail also in the Wing Collar shirt], pale butter yellow etc etc……………….It isn’t too shabby right now with a navy TN and Jeans or the CHARCOAL TN and the  FJ SMOKE maxi skirt…..I’m sure you won’t have any problems working this very flattering color into your wardrobes………………………………….enjoy……………….much Love……………………………..Louis

……I know you really didn’t think I would let a show come and go without at least ONE SNEAK PEEK!!!! Admittedly, I have been running like a chicken without a head, and the time between the last two shows plus the two appearances and this show was very short……I just didn’t have the time to photograph, make the collages and write script……so…..This is my one and only sneak peek for the show on Monday at 2pm with Antonella…….

…………………….This JACKET/CARDIGAN, A263783….. is a BEAUTY!!!….. So many of you have asked me to bring back the MILANO STITCH KNIT, and others have asked to bring back the OTTOMAN STITCH in sweaters. This is a combination of BOTH. The yarn is 60% COTTON and 40% RAYON…….I have used this yarn before for some prints and solid sweaters….Why this yarn?….because it takes the two special stitches beautifully. I call it a JACKET/CARDIGAN because it is a sweater knit garment, and because it has the weight of a spring jacket…..actually it can be worn all year…..This is an EXTREMELY well made garment. No where in any country can it be made better! I liken it to an Italian sweater/jacket you might find in snooty stores on the Via Montenapoleone……or perhaps in a store like Ferragamo. It has all of the hallmarks of a finely knitted garment. The MILANO stitch was developed by knit manufactures in Milan, Italy. It is a double knit construction, and uses the most yarn out of all the possible stitches. The Milano stitch creates a heavier fabric suitable for sweater jackets. The OTTOMAN is a fancy horizontal rib first developed as a fabric weave…..later to be translated into knit. This is not your normal rib. It has stretch, but is not stretchy like a normal sweater rib. As a matter of fact the reverse side of an Ottoman rib looks like a double knit and is very smooth. Then there are all the TUBULAR bandings on the garment to finish the collar and lapel, the front and the PRINCESS SEAMS. A normal Milano stitch garment, due to its’ substantial body, would create a rather boxy shape….however, with the addition of the princess seams FRONT and BACK, this jacket has a beautiful shape as you can see in the photos above… I can not EMPHASIZE enough how time consuming and expensive it is to make a garment like this. I can guarantee you will not find another made like this on QVC. This is a ZIP front sweater jacket. It is approx. 24 inches long for the XXS….so each size up gets a little longer. The bottom has an approx. 6 1/4″  border of Ottoman ribs, and the sleeve has an approx. 5″  border of Ottoman ribs…..this is the CHERRY on top of the cake! For me, this is “SOFT SUITING” at its’ best. For those of you who love St. John….you will adore  this, and compared to St. John you will l0ve the price. I would recommend you pay careful attention to the bust and high hip measurement. For those of you who have a very large bust….I’m not sure if this is for you. You might feel very compressed in it….I don’t want to scare you, but again best to check the measurements! My sample is an XXS, my mannequin is an XXS, and the fit is PERFECT. I would recommend buying your normal size. One thing about the Milano knit….it has enough structure to give you a shape all on its’ own……………The color above is….MY NAVY…………I have it accessorized with the SILVER BEADS for a special reason. Sometimes beads can be too bulky at the back of the neck…but with the chain extender it is perfectly flat in that area………Any of the PALM LEAF necklaces will work. Since the zipper on the NAVY is SILVER….I chose the silver Palm Frond necklace…………With all WHITE it is just an amazing look, but don’t be afraid to add COLOR. The WK short sleeve, mock neck with the waist whittling rib bottom, shown above in the white, comes in a beautiful RED and SUNBURST YELLOW too. I also have a sleeveless mock neck in  other gorgeous colors…….Mock, jewel, crew and turtlenecks all work well with this JACKET SWEATER……………………………………………………………………………enjoy……………………much Love…………………………Louis

………..How much do I love this TANGERINE color!!!! I know many women shy away for any orange, and frankly I don’t understand why. Every time I see someone in this color, which is rare, I always think how wonderful they look……they wear it with confidence…..as if they were wearing navy!….Step out…..dare to be different…..enjoy the experience of wearing something out of the norm!!….With my POLY/SPAN V-NECK “T” and jeans you couldn’t look more CASUAL/CHIC….For my fashionistas….add a pair of Converse sneakers in a wonderful color!..YELLOW, GREEN, TURQUOISE, AQUA, HOT PINK etc. etc etc…….For those less adventurous….white will do! For a casual  evening out with friends….gold sandals or high heeled sandals…….For a bit more dressier occasions or for work….a navy WK PENCIL SKIRT or even my INDIGO jean skirt……….Of course this is the perfect outfit for my GOLD FISH….ORANGE EYE UP!! To go with the GOLD ZIPPER….. Add the BOLD GOLD HOOP, just back in stock….and be on your way…..Expect many glances and I would suspect….many compliments!……………………………………….enjoy…………………….much Love………………………Louis
