…………………………………..BLUE…………………For me is one of the most important colors of the season. You simply can not open a fashion magazine without seeing pages devoted to this type of BLUE………..Call it FLAG  BLUE, LAPIS, SAPPHIRE…..it doesn’t matter. It’s this true blue color that is so alive and vibrant. I know many of you will want to start matching it up to blue clothing you have…..but the MAGIC of this BLUE NECKLACE comes to life when you wear it on a contrasting color, and the…..BLUE STANDS…ALONE! An Ivory, White, Black or LINEA NAVY top, of which you already have many, is the perfect backdrop for this Blue Waterfall necklace………I will have two new skirts in this blue shade that would be perfect to balance the solid tops…….but a LBD or a little White dress is all you need………………..Remember EASY DRESSING for summer is key…..no more than three minutes to get dressed…..OKAY five minutes!……………………..enjoy…………….much Love………………………..Louis

……………………………….Many of you have collected the BOHO SKIRT in many colors. I thought it would be fun to introduce a new BOHO STYLE……. the BOHO TUNIC, A264621. This is a machine wash poly georgette blouse with an OPEN NOTCH COLLAR…..and has all the attributes of what a poly fabric can offer you….minimal wrinkling, easy to wash, easy packing etc etc…..The sleeves are longer than 3/4 length, but not quite bracelet……of course that all depends how long  or short your arms are…LOL….. The total length of the shirt is approx. 29 inches for the xxs. There are bust darts and body darts on this blouse  to control the fullness, and to give it a gentle easy fit. The bottom has two BOHO tiers. They aren’t overly shirred, but they don’t look skimpy either…Personally, I think it can look very inexpensive when the tiers do not have just the right amount of fullness. It can look like the manufacturer was trying to save fabric…..very chintzy………However, there does have to be a balance so it’s wearable, and not overly done which happens often for clothes shown on the runway…it’s about exaggeration to  make a  point…..but the Linea clothes are not exaggerated runway clothes……I think this tunic has just the right proportion…This tunic blouse looks great all buttoned up or….open as a soft flowy shirt jacket with just a tank or cami under it……..The color is new……..I call it…….FLAG BLUE……yes…it is similar to colors I have done before…..lapis…….sapphire….etc etc….it’s all about degrees and brightness. I think this is a wonderful summer blue…..Of course since I’m a Leo….I prefer GOLD accessories, but I know you SILVER lovers will disagree with me…….it’s all about choices and options. Worn with leggings, Capri pants or slim and wide leg pants are all good options, and only will depend on how each works for you. I know the question will inevitably come up….”can you wear this with the BOHO skirt?”….my answer is YES and NO….for some of you it will look wonderful and breezy, and for others it may be a bit overwhelming………….you just have to try….the shoes will help too. I always think…to give something a fair chance,…..you should have it put all together……accessories………shoes and sometimes for certain clothes even makeup. You would be surprised what a difference it makes when you are pulled together…..the outfit looks more pulled together. When Jac wants to show me something she has bought…she always has the shoe, boot etc. she wants to wear with it on. She instinctively knows from working with many many designers that the total look can make all  the difference. Some designers can’t even look at a model in the clothes unless she is totally outfitted. There was a time, when models would never go on go sees unless they had  make up on and their hair groomed……times have changed…..I always get a chuckle when I read someone returned something just by looking at it in the bag or taking it out and making a snap judgement…..I think…if you went to the trouble of ordering it, and you have to pay to  return it….you owe it to YOURSELF to at least try it on….but I digress……………Summer is about comfortable, airy breezy clothes,  and I think this new BOHO   blouse fits the bill………………….enjoy…………………………………. much Love……………………………Louis

The second choice is…………BLACK, and I do happen to love the BLACK with SILVER……….cool and elegant…………Wide leg ivory pants,  leggings, Capris…..or a pencil skirt are great choices to  give this blouse a completely different look………………………………………………………enjoy………………..much Love……………………………..Louis

…………………………………LAGOON…………………….is the third choice for the BOHO blouse……an island color………………..soft…tranquil….and simply pretty………………….enjoy………………..much Love……………Louis

**********************FUCHSIA………………..PEACOCK………………FLAME………………….are the color names of this amazing print…………………worthy of framing…A263353…….Tie Dye….Dip Dye and Ombres are one of the major print trends of the season…..but they have all been done before…..so….. the challenge for any designer is how to make them……FRESH and NEW………Dip dyes have been done many many times at all price levels. At the high end designers as diverse as Prada and Oscar de la Renta come to mind. The simplest and most common way is to dip one end of the fabric. A more complicated way is to have three very different colors…one at the top….one at the bottom, and one in the middle…..not an easy feat, but Prada and Oscar did it………..What I have chosen to do is something quite different, because this is a SCREEN PRINT using many different colors. The effect I wanted to achieve was the look you get when you soak a large piece of water color paper and add different color dyes at the top, bottom and center, and have the paper tilt back and forth until the colors run into one another. Believe me when I say that it’s  easier to achieve the “look” using this method than PRINTING it. To get the gradations of color is much easier on a wet piece of paper than a dry piece of cloth. The screens and the colors have to be perfect to get the best result……………I am very pleased with the way this WATER COLOR OMBRE PRINT came out…..I hope you agree…………………enjoy……………….much Love…………………….Louis
