………………..The Slim Pant, A265615 was a home run last season, and this season two new colors are being introduced….plus BLACK is returning………….The new colors are…….OLIVE…&…GREY. This pant is a home run because YOU declared it so. The FABRIC and the FIT seem to be the winning combination for the great majority of you. The slim silhouette works for many body types and the double stretch is a terrific bonus………As you can see from above, these are terrific separate pants and work with everything! From left to right…..the OLIVE pant with the LIGHT TAN WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, and the OLIVE BEADS, J317652 is the perfect combination for all of my nature and neutral lovers. I love anything safari, as you will see later in the season, hint, hint these Olive pants become more and more important to mix and match……..BLACK………these are perfect to  wear with anything…….Wear them dressed up with a pair of black stiletto sandals or pumps…..For more casual outings….wedges, flat skimmers or flat sandals will work perfectly…..I have paired the Black pant with the AQUA OTTOMAN RIB detailed cardigan, A263783, and my LINEA FINISH GOLD BEAD NECKLACE, J296893…..an easy and quick solution for going to work or dinner…..GREY is your SOFTER more GENTLE black…….It is a great color to mix with pastels like the PERFECTLY PINK SAFARI SHIRT, A214117 worn with the new PINK NECKLACE and EARRING SET, J329550…..as well as neutrals and brights……I call this a med/dark gray….It’s darker than the trouser I just introduced, but not as dark as a charcoal….somewhere in between….. All of the tops shown here can easily be worn with the grey pant. If grey isn’t a color you like against your face….a grey bottom is still a wonderful bottom option for you!……Due to the slim leg the length works for most women. Where the length of a pant hits the leg is becoming more and more arbitrary. If you look at the runway shows on VOGUE.com, you will see that all lengths are shown…..it’s simply a matter of your comfort level and taste, but where ever it hits it isn’t wrong……. You know how I feel about comfort levels! They can be very restricting, and not allow you to try new things. …………………..This April I will be offering THREE  very DISTINCTIVE NECKLACES. Two of them will come with  coordinating earrings. Each necklace is totally different and captures very different looks and moods………….The first is the BARREL BEAD and CHAIN combination necklace and earring set, J329558. This set will be offered in THREE very different color beads, and each has a very unique quality………..In the photos above is the “CRACKLE” WHITE BEADS combined with a SILVER CHAIN and SILVER SPACER BEADS…..Look carefully at the beads, because that’s where the STORY is! There are two very different shaped beads….one has a rounder look and has broad soft facets….the other is a rounded soft BARREL shape….The CRACKLES or VEINS is what gives this necklace its’ character….almost like ancient Chinese porcelain where the glaze has crackled though the centuries. There are different variations of the veins within the beads which also gives the beads an authentic and individual look…..There are two sizes of spacer beads….two smaller beads on either side of a slightly larger bead…..The CHAIN is an intrinsic part of the total design. It has to balance the boldness of the beads, but still maintain a feminine appearance…..neither looking too heavy nor too flimsy……..The total length of the necklace is 42 inches long with a 3 inch extender, but because of the open link chain….it can even be worn at at a shorter length……If you so choose it can even be doubled. These are weighty beads for those who find weight an issue, but they are not heavy…….The aspect that I love about this necklace is that it has an ETHNIC chunky bead look, but still very modern…..Good looking WHITE beads are hard to find…..many, due to the type of bead combined with the design of the necklace, just look matronly….these DO NOT………There is nothing quite like beautiful white beads in the summer to bring light to the face……………………..enjoy………………………..much Love………………………Louis

……………………ESPRESSO…..is the second color that will be avail in this necklace and earring set, J329558……..Again, it’s the quality of the beads that is the magic. The variation of color and the veins in the beads give them the variation needed to give them life, and gives them the look like something from nature……..Most “brown” beads have no life and just look dull……That is the reason you hardly ever see brown beads, other than wood, being offered……The color in the beads rangers from a paler taupe to a very deep espresso brown……..The metal chain color is a burnished brass. The spacer beads are a combination of two smaller metal beads with a center espresso bead……….The earring is for PIERCED ears, but can easily be switched to a clip on if you like……….The color of this necklace is very versatile and works seamlessly from spring/summer right into fall/winter………..Above, the wing collar shirt in the Lt. Tan with the reorder slim pant in the new OLIVE. ………………………….The third color being offered in the BARREL BEAD & EARRING SET is…………..BLACK………….shiny Licorice Black.,,,,,,The solid black beads are accented with GUNMETAL beads and chain. Whereas the White and Espresso beads show variation of color and striations and veins….the black is opaque and a solid shiny color. This necklace was part of my private collection, and I have been showing the black necklace and earring for YEARS! The original was “strung” on a black ribbon and knotted with the ribbon between the beads. When I originally tried to reproduce it as it was it didn’t hang well, because the knots made it wobbly. I also noticed with time the ribbon started to fray. I finally decided on the chain and the separator beads………voila….perfect….The necklace hangs perfectly and the change to the chain from the ribbon makes the necklace a stronger piece……..Where the necklace with the matching earring or a Gunmetal earring will be a good additional option…..I have found so many uses for these beads. They just solve so many problems…….Wear any color top with a black or white bottom…..and the BLACK BEADS, black shoes and black sunglasses…..instant chic….Do you own a print that’s hard to accessorize? If it has some black in it these beads are the perfect answer.
