……………………..GAUZE………………is an ancient fabric……I always believed it dated back to the Egyptians, but it is actually credited to an ancient 13th century textile industry in Gaza…..hense the name….It was originally made in SILK………….Today there are many different types of gauze made in many different fibers……..from silk to cotton to linen to all types of synthetics……….The TEE SHIRT, A290928, and the PULL-ON pant, A290983 for the reg. and A290984 for the petite, are the same gauze fabric that I use for styles A276280, the zip front jacket, and A273867, and the tunic with roll-up sleeves……This “GAUZE” is not to be confused with the “CREPE GAUZE”. The styles in the crepe gauze are A287617, the stand collar button front tunic, A276293, the tank with georgette border, A287611, the V-neck tunic, A276294, the long pant, A287614, the crop pant and A288392, the new dress………Even QVC has confused the two calling the “gauze” zip jacket “crepe gauze”. I am giving you this detailed information so you know what you are buying……Neither of these has anything to do with Pebble Crepe!……………………..Not all gauze is the same!
……………………..The Tee shirt above is shown in the WHITE, and the ROYAL BLUE………The gauze pant is also shown in the Royal Blue and the White………The White pant is LINED….the Royal Blue is not……..The pant has a classic elastic waist with a center top stitch so there will not be any twisting……. There are no pockets. The leg is soft and languid, just the way you would want a summer white pant to be……………The TEE is easy and relaxed. I like the sleeve rolled up for a more casual look………The length for an xs is approx. 25 inches. There are small side slits…………….I chose to accessorize the tees with SILVER…….It has a cool and modern look.
