…………………..Are you ready for the PERFECT MIDI DRESS?????……I would think so, especially when it’s made in everyone’s favorite….MOSS CREPE……..Now for the GOOD NEWS! The style number for this dress is….A294606………but……..it will also be coming in a PETITE LENGTH, and the style # is…..A294711………It always takes a lot of discussion and cajoling to get anything in a petite accepted…….but not for this one. We all agreed this dress had to be done in a petite length, and I’m happy to bring it to you……………..The color above is in my new………PORT……….which is the darkest deepest wine I will be doing. Did I say this is the season for all shades of WINE? You will be seeing many from me. You already saw the wine BOOT CUT pant, which will have coordinates. Port will also have its’ own little story to tell……It is a rich saturated color, and absolutely gorgeous in the MOSS CREPE…………The dress has long sleeves, and a scoop neck. I would call it a semi fit thought the body and flares out nicely at the bottom…..not too much…..just enough so it “walks” well…….IMHO, I think the dress is on the generous side, and since the Moss Crepe has a lot of stretch you should pay attention to the measurements. If you are between sizes and lean to the smaller of the two…..you may want to size down one….. For all of you who never wear a dress…..this might be just the one to convert you………It’s the best travel dress and will become your go to for all and every occasion. If you want to make it look very casual, try a white or ivory Tee shirt under it, and try a sporty belt……maybe hip slung. Also, my new sleeveless Turtle Neck under the dress will give you a whole other look…….a little bohemian…………A pair of boots at any heel height will be great depending on the “look” you’re going for…Dark tights and a fabulous shoe boot is another terrific alternative….Jackets, and cardigans…..you bet….from jean jackets to blazers to leather jackets [I showed this dress in NAVY on Jac with the navy  leather Moto jacket]……This is an ACCESSORY DRESS……….The perfect backdrop for all of your special Linea necklaces….Try all of them….they will all work. The Seed Bead necklaces, the Aztec, the Trapeze [coming back], the Ribbon link necklace, and Mardi Gras [coming back] will all look splendid……..Above, is the new “INDIA” pendant and earring set which will be on my August 25th, 6:00pm QVC2 jewelry show, and it’s FABULOUS……………..NOW……this is IMPORTANT…………….I will be showing this dress on August 4th on the MORNING SHOW which starts at 7:00am. …………………………………Deep Navy is a wonderful color, and so often relegated to second place after black…….but not with this dress!…..I know there are quite a few women who actually prefer navy to black. Probably because it’s a SOFTER dark color. Whatever the reason, I felt it was important to offer this dress in NAVY. It is season-less in navy, and works all year long without looking like you’re visiting from NYC……you know what I mean. This the the perfect dress to layer under your favorite jackets………from jean jackets for a more casual look to classic blazers [making a big comeback], to leather jackets like the navy MOTO above, A267935, now on clearance……………Since the MOTO jacket has SILVER trims, I have chosen the new ETRUSCAN necklace, earring and bracelet [not shown] in silver to accessorize the navy……I know you will come up with many many different ways to wear it………Get out your scarves that you have been squirreling away all summer!………………………………..enjoy……………..much Love…………………..Louis

………………………..I was debating with myself, since I was going to offer this dress in navy should I really offer it in BLACK too???? Then I came to my senses and said to myself, “of course you have to do this perfect dress in Black too!”……………………..Talk about a go to dress…..From Baptisms to funerals and all occasions in between this is the dress you can always count on. With a change of accessories who can make this one dress into a zillion dresses. Wear It with flat, round toe calf boot to High Heel suede pointed toe boots……from black tights and shoe boots to nude hose and open toe booties….then for special evening events….wear rhinestone strappy heels and lots of bling!……soooooo many possibilities so many options………One option is my new SHINY BLACK STATION NECKLACE worn with my new SHINY BLACK Y- BAR PENDANT. The BLACK on BLACK is so unexpected…..and so CHIC!…..This is a MUST HAVE!……………………………………………..

…………………There are many new trends on the horizon for Fall of 2017, and beyond into 2018. Some trends will continue like asymmetric hems, but the “classic” refined sophisticated, and feminine clothes that were once the “it” looks are slowing making a return. You will start to see a more “cleaned up” editorial look to fashion pages. Let’s face it….how many pages of mixed prints and miss matched clothes, and stranger than strange combinations can we absorb before it all starts to look the same and leaves us numb. I was never a fan, and I’m so glad the pendulum is swinging back to truly chic clothes. Will the clothes be the same as the past…..of course not, but a classic is a classic even with the subtle new changes of proportion and fabric………….The “Antoinette Blouse” is the epitome of the return to feminine STATEMENT BLOUSES….The style # is A294604……….Why Antoinette?……………because these kinds of blouses and sleeves was the “fashion” of her time. Marie Antoinette often wore dresses with flounce sleeves at a 3/4 length. You can’t help when wearing a blouse like this, or more to the point a sleeve like this, to create beautiful arm movements, and gestures…………….The color is……………..PERFECTLY PINK……………..The blouse has a CURVED seam that dips in the back to create a slight HIGH LOW HEM. For me, this creates a beautiful movement and a graceful flow when moving. It is a modified Empire seam. I say modified because a true Empire seam starts just under the bust, and this seam is just above the waist. and dips a little below the waist……Of course that all depends where your waist is. No matter where the blouse seam hits you it should work, because it is a body SKIMMING blouse not a fitted one. Even the seam of the sleeve flounce slants down to the back creating a slight high low sleeve hem……..The sleeve and the bottom of the blouse have modified “flounces” which are created by cutting circles in the fabric. If you use a full circle you will have  a lot of ruffle….The less circle you use, say 3/4 or 1/2 of the circle, the less of a ripple effect you will have. I didn’t want the flounces to be full so I used less of the circle. This gives the flounces a gentle flare without looking too extreme, which is the effect I wanted for this Antoinette blouse…….It’s all about BALANCE and PROPORTION………..The fabric is my “Faux De Chine”, so the weight is perfect for this type of garment. Also, it is heavy enough to avoid any see through. I would still recommend nude undergarments when wearing pale colors….If you own anything in this fabric, you will know it has stretch!…….The neckline is an OPEN JEWEL. There are no superfluous openings in the blouse…..you just slip it on over the head…….Wearing a blouse like this immediately gives you a definite feminine feeling. You will find you carry yourself differently and move in a more graceful manor…..I don’t think you will be able to help yourself….There are many ways to wear a blouse like this…..The younger minded will put it on with a pair of skinny jeans and sexy heels…….A great pair of dress pants , or a skirt…….long or short…will all be perfect for dressier occasions……..I have accessorized the blouse with my new “SPIRIT PENDANT” in Perfectly Pink, and it will be on my August 25th, 6pm jewelry show……..The blouse is already posted on my Linea site without pictures, so before you prejudge what the blouse is I thought you should see it……I know there are many of you who look at a blouse like this and automatically say….”pass”. …………………………………BLACK………is the second color being offered in the Antoinette blouse……BTW, that’s my name for the blouse not QVC’s……………….The combination of this silhouette and color is pure CHIC. Where it any season…….In the summer wear it with white bottoms or Capri pants and leggings……Add a strappy sandal and voila…ready for a night out. In the fall and winter add a pair of pants….slim, straight leg or boot cut all work. Leggings with boots give you an edgier look. Whatever your style you can make this work for you……As for accessories…..the sky is the limit……all are good……………………enjoy…………………much Love………………Louis
