I never give up the ship until it’s underwater and I’m swimming for shore! There is still hope for the Green Patina Etruscan Group and Fish!!!!! The buyers have accepted an end of Sept. delivery, because they realize it has been heavily promoted by me, and many of you have shown a strong interest in the pieces……The factory is getting one last chance to produce the jewelry correctly. If they succeed you will have your Green Patina pieces….if they don’t….well we did the best we could do………Fingers crossed!!………………..I will keep you updated when I know for sure………………..Love…………………………Louis
…………………………..This is my working sketch for the new “BIG DEAL” tunic blouse. This is the first step in the process of creating a new style!
………………..The August 25th “BIG DEAL” is the new SCULPTED SWING SHIRT, A294605……..The fabric is my Faux de Chine that many of you know and love. You may already own the Faux de Chine in the sunburst pleated skirt and matching shirt, or more recently the Antoinette ruffle blouse………Let’s start at the top…..The collar is my now infamous WING COLLAR….there is no better. It stands at attention if you want, but also looks beautiful turned down……..The SCULPTURED BODY……Look closely at the third photo in from the top left. You will see how the PRINCESS SEAM shapes the body and ends at the INSET GODET. The godet gives the shirt the slight SWING. If you have tummy or hip issues this will hid them without looking like you’re trying to!. It has a slight asymmetric hem due to the godets, but not severe……….Ladies, trust me, asymmetric hems are not going away. They give clothes a modern new look….The approx. length to the center front from the high point shoulder, [where the collar meets the shoulder seam], is 28 inches for the XXS. I would call this a SEMI-FIT because it follows the lines of the body…..It is neither tight nor boxy. It will give you a nice”sculptured” shape. It glides over the body gracefully, and the Faux de Chine is as light as air. However, the fabric has enough body to keep the shape and still FLOW WITH GRACE……The sleeve is long with a classic shirt cuff…….The color above is called…………KHAKI, and it’s a true “classic” color. I have it paired with the Crepe Gauze pant in Dark Sand, A293753…..It’s a great color to be accessorized as you chose…..The new tunic shirt is elegant, with a quiet beauty…….but it has a definite edge………………………….enjoy…………..much Love………….Louis
………………….BLACKBERRY………….is one of my important colors for the Fall 2017 season………Unfortunately, I could not capture the depth and richness of the color in the photographs, but it is a beauty. I have it paired with my Super Ponte boot cut pant in the Dark Umber, just to illustrate how wonderfully autumnal colors work together……something you may not think to try…..Slowly you are all coming to find out just how beautiful and useful this deep camel color pant is…….The blouse is also a perfect MATCH to my new LONG BLACKBERRY WHISPER KNIT straight skirt coming in Sept!……To accessorize I have chosen a NEW NECKLACE. It is 72 inches long, and it has faceted glass beads in multi colors. You may recall a few seasons back I did a similar necklace at the same length in the same faceted glass beads. They came in black jet, clear crystal, gunmetal and chocolate. This time I have constructed them differently They are not strung on a cord. They are linked together to avoid any breakage. The color above is called BLACKBERRY MULTI. You will want to own them in all three color combinations. Like the Mardi Gras necklace, these go with everything!…………………………enjoy………………….much Love……………………..Louis
