How many years have we sung this song on New Years? I’ve always found it to be a some what melancholy song. “Should auld acquaintance be forgot?”….”Auld lang syne” [time goes by]….. and “we’ll tak a cup o kindness yet”, saluting friends, and remembering the good times of the past, and the friendships we have made that have come and gone….and most of all to be kind………2020 holds the promise of the future, and the good things that may come, but we also have to brace ourselves to face and deal with the times that are challenging……and pray that we can meet those challenges with grace and courage……..I guess I am feeling nostalgic for places and friends from the past who have come into my life and have given me so much joy, only to have had to go, and leave me with my memories…. wonderful memories………..The older I get I can’t help but have a heavy heart when thinking of all the beautiful people who have meant  so much to me, and are no longer with me……………….I also wonder about the many Linea Ladies who have been such shining lights, and strong voices over the last twenty years, and are not heard from anymore. They are in my thoughts, and I thank them for their friendship……I hope they are all well!………..I drink a cup of kindness to all of you, and pray 2020 will bring you all joy, and the courage to face whatever may come your way………………much Love………………..Louis

…………………………….The MIDAS NECKLACE, J485288, and the MIDAS CUFF, J485286, were developed to go with my new BIG DEAL JACKETS, but they are so versatile they will work with anything. The NECKLACE has multi strands of small GOLD BUGLE BEADS interspersed with round beads, in this case TIGER EYE BEADS. QVC calls it Tortoise, but it is Tiger Eye. As with all Tiger Eye the color of each bead varies with its’ golden brown colors. The necklace and cuff are as light as a feather. All of the strands are connected at the back and fit into a golden cap. There is a Lobster Claw closing with an extender chain. so you can adjust it for different necklines……..The cuff is a series of bugle bead rings again, decorated with Tiger Eye beads. All of the rings are connected to bars in the back with little dingle dangles hanging from the bars….just for fun. The cuff is very flexible so it is easy to get on and off. Again, it too is very light weight. I have chosen the “Classic Hoop Earring” to coordinate with the necklace. These are wonderful easy to wear, go with everything hoops, and are very comfortable in both pierced and clip versions……….Season-less jewelry is always a great investment……………………enjoy……………………..much Love……………………..Louis

……………………..GOLD & BLACK is my absolute favorite color combination……and mixed with white or ivory is the chicest and most sophisticated thing you could possibly wear!!!!!Without a doubt….So if you really want to make an impression put this combination together in a variety of ways….Ivory blazer over all black or ivory top and black bottom or black top and ivory bottom. You can do this with shirts and pants, and cardigan sets in black over white jeans. Any combination you conjure up will work….it’s full proof!……Here you have the new MIDAS NECKLACE in the GOLD bugle bead & BLACK bead combination. ……………..I had no intention of posting these pieces now, and certainly not on Christmas day, but QVC posted them so I felt I should post my prettier pictures for all of you to see…………..Ever since I offered the Etruscan necklace, earring and bracelet I have been thinking of what could be a good replacement, and something to rival those pieces……I think the GRECIAN jewelry is just that………….You all know I love things that look like they came from ancient times when everything was made by hand by true artisans. These people came to become jewelry makers because they had an acute talent that was recognized by kings, emperors and all kinds of wealthy citizens  who hired them to make their jewelry. The jewelry was hand forged, hammered and manipulated to become incredibly beautiful pieces that still look incredibly beautiful today………..The Grecian necklace, J485280, the earring, J485278, and the bracelet, J485288 are all made out of smaller hammered discs that are linked together with rings so there is a lot of movement. The necklace is 72 inches long so it can be worn in a variety of ways. The earring has three discs, and are clip only. The QVC measurement is taken from the top of the first disc to the bottom of the last disc. This measurement is deceiving because the top disc rests on the earlobe, and only the bottom two hang from the ear…….The bracelet has three rows of discs which are attached to a bar. There are two rings for size adjustment……….The color above is a gleaming gold tone just as the brand new pieces would have looked in ancient times…………………………..enjoy………………………much Love…………………….Louis

………………….VERDIGRIS…………..is a color and a special technique that I love. It looks like nothing else, and is as close to being artisan as you can get. What is Verdigris. The color is created naturally when copper is oxidized. I am sure many of you have seen copper water spouts, and outside copper decorations on houses that have turned, with time to a verdigris patina…..a beautiful turquoise green. The Verdigris discs have a dark copper base and are treated to turn this wonderful color. There are many things like humidity, and heat that can effect the final color so it is very irregular. No two discs will be exactly alike, and the color will vary greatly in one piece…..but that is the beauty of VERDIGRIS……..If you are looking for something very uniform Verdigris is not for you. One of the other choices would suit you better………………..However if you love, as I do, the look of Verdigris then these pieces will be perfect for you……There is nothing else like it…………………………….enjoy……………….much Love……………….Louis
