……………………AMBRA are very special color beads. Like the Jade or VERDE there is a lot of variety in color within the beads, but their paleness makes it more subtle………To say the Ambra looks incredible with ALABASTER is an understatement as you can see above. The Alabaster pelpum Moss Crepe top with the white ponte crop pant make the perfect canvass to show off the delicacy of the Ambra beads, and golden coins. ……………………….We are lucky enough to have beautiful lush Privet Hedges bordering our property……….It’s that time of year when they are in full bloom, and the air is intoxicating with their fragrance. The windows are wide open and their aroma is coming through them………………Jac LOVED the clean fresh smell of the Privet flowers, and couldn’t get enough of them…….One year Franco, our landscaper and caretaker, decided that they needed a trim…….Yes, he cut all the flowers off. By the time we noticed what he had done it was too late……they, and their beautiful smell was gone!!! Jac was devastated, and told Franco, in a very restrained voice, to NEVER cut the Privets again without her approval. She wanted them to grow wild, and to this day they never get cut until late in the season after all of the flowers are gone. and he asks if it’s OK. I guess Jac left an impression on him about her Privets…….I sit here at my computer, with the windows wide open, enjoying the lovely scent of the pretty white flowers…..thinking of Jac

……The roses up the drive are in full bloom…..Jac and I each year would take photos as soon as they reached their peek..The aroma is intoxicating!!!……Unfortunately , like all beautiful flowers, they don’t last long…

……………………..How are you all enduring the HEAT…..90 degrees here in sunny CT……….In this July O Magazine Oprah is featuring my tie dye skirt in Fuchsia…….The title is “To Dye For”!!!!!!! This is one “COOL’ skirt in every way. It’s very “IN” fashion, and “COOL” to wear in this humid hot weather, and I brought it to you LAST YEAR!!! It’s now on clearance and the colors are dwindling in sizes….BTW….we added the pic of our Ms. Brenda…………………You know what they say………..”once it’s gone…..it’s gone forever”………………….enjoy………………..much Love………………………Louis
