………………………..I LOVE this color combination, and I’ll tell you why….but first you will have to take a trip with me down Memory Lane. One of mine and Jac’s favorite movies of all time is “Gone With the Wind”……. One of my favorite characters in the movie is Belle Watling….surprised!? I bet you weren’t expecting that…….OK, remember the scene when Rhett goes to her and cries on her shoulder complaining about Scarlet, not realizing Belle’s heart was breaking because she secretly was in love with Rhett……..OK…….Belle was wearing a tiara that had amber ball beads with light shinning through [I’m sure lit on purpose], and she was in a topaz and wine dress……with her red hair….I just thought she look wonderful………Those colors hit a cord with me, and I have loved that color combination ever since. Remember, I was probably a teenager the first time I ever saw the movie, but colors and costumes always made an impression on me…….Every time I see that movie, that scene with Belle still looks wonderful, and I still feel sorry for her………That was a long winded story to get to the reason I chose these colors for this necklace. The Torsade is accented with Russian Gold disc beads, and stud earrings complete the set. Caramel and Wine or Port are the perfect backdrop for this necklace…..Maybe you own the wine sweater with the emb. sleeves and the caramel faux suede or Super Ponte pant, or perhaps you have the wine Boho skirt and Caramel WK turtleneck…….The Caramel plaid blazer???? …………………….The MARCASITE and SILVER faceted glass bead combination is more subtle and tonal than the Black and Silver combination, but equally beautiful……….On the Silver side the metal disc beads are SILVER, but on the Marcasite side the disc beads are GUNMETAL, which helps to keep everything tonal……..With a gray sweater, and grey trousers you immediately look chic without trying. Maybe you already own the PALE HEATHER GREY LONG CARDIGAN, A287608, and SCOOP NECK SWEATER, A347450, in Whisper Knit? With the Heather Charcoal Grey pant, as above, you simply can’t go wrong…..Do you already own a silver lurex sweater that needs updating….Voila, add this new Torsade and it’s all new again. Of course it will look fabulous on black or ivory or red  or pink. I could go on but I’ll let you have the fun of exploring what you already own, and coming up with your own combinations……One more….the DOVE GREY Lamb leather jacket with the pale grey scoop neck and velvet black pants…maybe a pair of velvet ballet slippers?……How’s that for a Holiday party outfit without looking like you tried too hard……………………enjoy………………………….much Love………………………………….Louis
