……………………………The VERY POPULAR ELONGATED OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN, A287608, has been REORDERED due to popular demand, and I couldn’t be more delighted…..It is made in my medium weight ENR Whisper Knit. It has a 3/4 sleeve, pockets and an open band front. It also has great side slits for a sweeping effect.. I think the length is perfect, because it works for any height woman. This is not a super long floor grazing cardigan. For most it will come to the top of the calf. Of course there are always some petites who will find it long, but I would disagree. It really depends what you are comfortable with. Maybe you should give it a try…..I think the cardigan is very versatile. Wear it over any type bottom, Linea White Jeans, A304733, as above, Capri, crop and even shorts will work perfectly. Wear it over you favorite pencil skirt, maybe a sleeveless dress that has been hanging in your closet waiting for just the right piece to wear over it……The cardigan will look great over most of your WK sweaters especially the mock neck sleeveless tunic, A343029, now on clearance….perfect in black…..A287609, the tank tunic originally designed to go with this cardigan, and so many more…….The color is SAPPHIRE………..a very vivid blue. Actually, I had requests for this blue and I think it came out great…………………The coordinating SCOOP NECK ELBOW SLEEVE SWEATER, A347450. This is a classic piece and will quickly become an ESSENTIAL……This knit has a lot of stretch so if you have found that you need to size down, than this style would be no exception. I don’t think one size down will hurt especially if you have narrow shoulders as this has a wide scoop neck [not too deep, but not a ballet neck]. The XXS is approx. 24 inches long……………………I love the FANTASY FISH in the RED and BLUE worn with the Sapphire……a more subtle way to wear red, white and blue. The GOLD HOOP above is now avail. in CLIP BACK only, and it is part of the CLASSIC GROUP, but the GOLD in the EXOTIC GROUP works just as well……………ATTENTION!!!! ……………………………..IVORY…………..the perfect color for year round wear…………..Come Spring and Summer, this is the perfect choice! Naturally, you can wear it with any color, and every accessory possible. Above the SLIM LEG SAPPHIRE PANT, A265615. For some FIREWORKS I chose the BROOCH NECKLACE, JJ358184 which sold out this past Holiday season, but has been reordered and will be avail. soon. In addition to the necklace we will be offering the CLIP ON BROOCH EARRING, which is exactly like the brooch in the necklace, style number to come…..The GOLD OX hoop also is a great alternative to the Brooch earring….It is avail in the EXOTIC set of hoops………..FYI…….I have read that some styles in different colors feel differently. I can say from experience that darker colors may feel heavier or may have a slightly different fit from lighter colors. This is because with dark colors the yarn absorbs more dye to achieve the color than lighter colors.. Certainly Ivory will always feel lighter than black……..It also may be a little more stretchy. Here is an  analogy for this…….when you make cookies with a cookie cutter they are approx. all the same shape and size. When you bake them and take them out of the oven they may all look very different from each other. The baking process is like the dyeing process. …………………………THE HEATHER ICE GREY in the Long Cardigan and Scoop Neck sweater above looks so fresh and cool. I rarely use this heather color, and most recently it was offered in the sweater with the pearl emb sleeve. It looks like CASHMERE. I have paired this set with the A347452, new ivory pant, but BLACK or my HEATHER CHARCOAL PONTE pants will look fantastic too…………….SILVER is my metal of choice with the HIG. Above, you have two new choices. On the left is the new TANGIERS NECKLACE and EARRING SET, J361101. The rings and hanging clapper have a wavy texture, similar to the wavy necklace from years ago……The look is a wonderful combination of ETHNIC and MODERN…….On the right is the new ORGANIC SHAPED BEAD DRAPE NECKLACE and EARRING set. J360768 is the style number for the BLACK CORD OPTION with either SILVER or RUSSIAN GOLD………..The same necklace will also be avail with WHITE CORDS, again in Silver or Russian Gold with White. These will have a separate style number due to the cord color change so there is no confusion, we hope, with shipping. The WHITE CORD options style number is J360767………There will also be a 5 STRAND ORGANIC SHAPE BEAD BRACELET to match. Maybe you caught a glimpse of it when I sneak peeked it on the models. ……………………………BLACK………………….is coming back! and it looks great with the new scoop neck sweater. The TANGIERS necklace and earring set, J361101, in the COPPER OX looks incredible on black. These jewelry pieces look like they were hand made, and have an artisan look………………The new PONTE PULL-ON PENCIL SKIRT, A347449, is the perfect proportion to with the elongated cardigan. …………………Introducing a BRAND NEW SWEATER…….in a BRAND NEW YARN……..A347438……………………….The style is a play on a classic V-neck with some special details. Starting at the top the V is created by two pieces of FULLY FASHIONED knit overlapping to create the V with a squared off bottom.. The bottom of the sweater has two bands that meet at the side seam creating a slit. Notice the bottom EN Ribs bands are cut and applied on the horizontal giving all edges a finish. The sleeves are long. The total length for the xxs is approx. 25 1/2 to 25 and 3/4 inches…..The sweater is made in my Every Needle Stitch construction……….As I said this is a brand new yarn for Linea. It is 65% Rayon and 35% Nylon……Okay, so this sounds like my Whisper Knit, but it is NOT. This is a VERY FINE HIGHLY TWISTED YARN. The yarn is treated in a different way from the WK. The WK has a “warm hand”, some even say it has a soft CASHMERE hand……..In Italy they call this HIGH TWISTED yarn a FREDDO yarn meaning COLD. The hand is totally different, and very European. Sweaters like this are typically found in Ferragamo, Max Mara and other companies known for their superb knit wear……….The color is SAPPHIRE BLUE, and will be one of the KEY COLORS of the season and beyond….If you recall the reorder zip front jacket will be coming next fall in this vivid blue………………..What to pair it with is very simple…….WHITE and IVORY for sure. Above, is the reorder slim pant A265615 in the new Sapphire Blue. It isn’t an exact exact match but very close. I doubt you will ever find another bottom in a closer blue. The A298446, another reorder pant in the Scarlet red, looks wonderful with this blue……Navy for those who prefer a very classic look……There are a zillion ways to accessorize this sweater……….I have chosen the new…….”FANTASY FISH”……in the GREEN and YELLOW………The entire look is simple, but very chic and elegant….even with the whimsical fish…..LOL…….These are the clothes you will wear everyday…..no tricks no frou….no added adornment…….You dress it up the way you like to express your own style!……I know you will love these new additions to your Linea wardrobes………………………………………….enjoy………………….much Love……………………..Louis
